Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis strategi public relations yang di lakukan oleh Klinik Pusat Fertilitas Bocah Indonesia dalam menyebarkan informasi melalui media sosial Instragram, serta kendala dalam menyusun strategi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Bocah Indonesia menggunakan tiga strategi public relations, ketiga strategi tersebut yaitu strategi persuasif, strategi edukasi-informasi, dan strategi publikasi. Dalam pelaksanaan ketiga strategi tersebut, Bocah Indonesia menemukan beberapa kendala, diantaranya yaitu konten Instragram yang sepi likes dan komentar yang berpengaruh pada engagement yang menurun, keterbatasan pembuatan konten karena harus memperhatikan kode etik medis, dan keterbatasan pembuatan konten informasi yang mengedukasi karena pembahasan isu mengenai kesehatan reproduksi dan fertilitas hanya itu-itu saja. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Bocah Indonesia memang rutin menggunakan Instragram untuk menyebarkan informasi pada audience mereka, dan menerapkan strategi diatas untuk menyebarkan informasi melalui interaksi-interaksi dan rekasi yang ditimbulakan audience, kemudian untuk permasalahan ketidakkonsistenan likes dan komentar bergantung pada seberapa menarik konten tersebut seperti konten giveaway memang dibuat khusus untuk menarik interaksi followers beradasarkan likes dan juga komentar.

Abstract

Pelarangan sementara Tiktok Shop oleh pemeerintah bertujuan untuk menjaga kesenjangan pendapatan antara pedagang online dan pedagang offline agar tidak terjadi kesenjangan sosial. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Kualitatif dengan pendekatan Deskriptif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meruppakan data sekunder. Data yang didaptkan tersebut dinalisis dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, seleksi data, reduksi data, dan pernarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1). The ban on Tiktok shops by the Indonesian government is due to unhealthy competition because Tiktok shops are not pure e-commerce but are also social media, prices are unreasonable, large quantities of imported goods, and so on which only benefit a handful of parties. 2). The government's aim is to ban Tiktok shops so that demand and supply in offline shops remains stable and MSMEs, which are the heart of the Indonesian economy, do not die. 3). The prohibition carried out by the government is in line with the fifth principle of Pancasila values, specifically emphasizing justice and equal distribution of income for offline traders and MSMEs.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the pattern of ghost storytelling in podcasts produced by Tirto.id journalists. It attempts to answer the question whether ghost storytelling on the Tirto.id podcast channel is a means of audience entertainment or whether it truly reflects the function that journalists play in educating the public and actualising societal criticism. Implementing a qualitative content analysis method, this study explores five ghost episodes on Tirto.id’s INSENTIF podcast channel. We argue that the selected podcast episodes exemplify the hybridity of journalism which amalgamates information with elements of fiction. We conclude that these podcast episodes on ghosts serve a deeper purpose than just telling stories about ghosts. They aim to entertain the audience while subtly engaging them in discussions surrounding social issues, such as patriarchy, parental love, relationships, and colonialism. This study supports Baym’s idea to perceive journalism as orientation, rather than just as information.

Abstract

This article is based on the existence of researchers' participation in the democracy system in Indonesia, especially in Garut District. The study aims to determine the voter participation of three generations (generation X, generation Y, and generation Z) from the perspective of lack of political interest and dissatisfaction with candidates. This study uses descriptive and verification methods with a quantitative approach. With a sample of 145 respondents spread out of 3 villages (Banjarwangi Village, Jayabakti Village, and Bojong Village), the location of the research is the region with the largest population and voting rights in the Banjarwungi District District of Garut. Data analysis method: path analysis using SPSS software The results of the study showed the magnitude of the total influence of ignorance or lack of political interest and dissatisfaction with the selection of candidates against electoral participation in Generation X was shown by the size of the determination coefficient (r2) = 0.488, or 46.7%; in Generation Y, the greatness of the factor of determination (R2) = 0.510, or 51%; and in Generation Z, the measurement of the deterrence coefficient (R2) = 0.793, or 72.3%. So it was concluded that the model formed belongs to the strong category, so in this study, the variable of ignorance, lack of political interest, or dissatisfaction with the choice was used to measure the participation of voters in the Banjarwangi Garut district.

Abstract

PT Lipwih Synergylab Estetika memberikan wadah bagi para karyawannya untuk memberikan pendapat serta apa yang ingin disampaikan mengenai pekerjaannya melalui komunikasi langsung secara dua arah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas komunikasi organisasi dalam mencapai keterbukaan informasi, mengetahui hambatan-hambatan serta memberikan solusi dari hambatan-hambatan komunikasi organisasi. Berdasarkan efektivitas komunikasi organisasi dalam mencapai keterbukaan informasi di PT Lipwih Synergylab Estetika pada penelitian ini terdapat tiga rumusan masalah yaitu bagaimana efektivitas komunikasi, hambatan- hambatan serta solusi dari hambatan-hambatan komunikasi organisasi dalam mencapai keterbukaan informasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan konsep dari Effendy (2011:122) yaitu komunikasi internal upward communication, downward communication dan horizontal communication. Metode yang diambil dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah komunikasi organisasi yang diterapkan di PT Lipwih Synergylab Estetika terutama pada internal perusahaan yaitu komunikasi secara terbuka dan secara dua arah dalam mencapai keterbukaan informasi serta keefektivitasannya dalam berkomunikasi antara atasan dengan bawahan begitupun sebaliknya.Kata Kunci: Manajemen Komunikasi, Komunikasi Organisasi, Efektivitas, Keterbukaan informasi.

Abstract

AbstrakEra modern tidak berpihak pada keunikan individu sebagai makhluk sosial, tetapi menganggap masalah sosial sebagai hal yang seragam. Hal ini memunculkan pemahaman baru yang disebut postmodernisme. Postmodernisme bersikap antipatetik terhadap penjelasan yang mengklaim berlaku untuk semua kelompok, budaya, tradisi, atau ras, serta tidak berfokus pada kebenaran relatif setiap orang. Perkembangan teknologi membuat komunikasi tidak lagi terikat oleh ruang dan waktu. Dengan demikian, kebebasan individu dalam berkomunikasi tidak lagi dapat diseragamkan. Di sisi lain, tuntutan untuk memberikan ruang bagi kebebasan individu semakin meningkat, seiring dengan kebebasan berekspresi yang disalurkan melalui berbagai media digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan memetakan studi komunikasi berdasarkan fungsi dan komponen pendukungnya, agar penelitian lebih lanjut dapat menganalisis bagaimana hal tersebut berhubungan dengan perkembangan postmodernisme yang memberikan kebebasan bagi setiap individu untuk berkomunikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah tinjauan literatur yang diperoleh dari Google Scholar dengan bantuan PoP pada periode 2014-2023. Analisis literatur dilakukan dengan mengelompokkan studi komunikasi berdasarkan fungsi dan elemen pendukungnya yang dipetakan menggunakan metode Prisma dengan bantuan NVivo 12 Pro. Fungsi komunikasi terdiri atas fungsi sosial, ekspresi, dan instrumental. Elemen komunikasi meliputi sumber, pesan, media komunikasi, dan dampak komunikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa studi ilmu komunikasi di era pasca-modernisasi saat ini didominasi oleh aktivitas komunikasi dalam bentuk ekspresi diri, terutama dengan dukungan media digital. Temuan ini juga sejalan dengan paradigma postmodernisme, yang menjadikan karakteristik individu dominan dalam proses komunikasi.Kata kunci: Studi Komunikasi; NVivo 12 Pro; postmodernisme; prisma; publish or perish AbstractThe modern era does not take the side of an individual’s uniqueness as a social being but considers social problems to be likened. This generates a new understanding called postmodernism. Postmodernism is antipathetic to explanations that claim to apply to all groups, cultures, traditions, or races. It does not focus on the relative truth of each person. Technological developments have made communication no longer bound by space and time. Thus, individual freedom in communication can no longer be likened. On the other hand, the demand to provide space for individual freedom is increasing, along with freedom of self-expression channeled through various digital media. This research aims to examine and map the study of communication based on its functions and supporting components, for further research to analyze how it relates to the development of postmodernism which gives freedom to each individual to communicate. The research method was a literature review obtained from Google Scholar with the help of PoP in the 2014-2023 period. Literature analysis was carried out by grouping communication studies based on their functions and supporting elements which were mapped using the Prisma method with the help of NVivo 12 Pro. Communication functions consist of social, expression, and instrumental. The elements of communication consist of sources, messages, communication media, and the impact of communication. The results of the research showed that the study of communication science in the current post-modernization era is dominated by communication activities in the form of self-expression, especially with the support of digital media. The findings are also in line with the postmodernism paradigm. Abstract

New media which is currently developing in line with developments in information technology brings a new dimension to the field of communication. Physical public space is shifting and find a new platform, namely digital public space which brings today's society to live in a connected world. One of the virtual communities on a global scale whose founder came from Indonesia is "Type Unite" Virtual community “Type United” built in 2017. It began from informal discussion about student collaboration project in Typography. The result of the project was uploaded in social media (facebook). The research question; how the role of new media in building virtual community “Type Unite”. Research approach used mediamorphosis analysis from Fiddler. Mediamorphosis describes the changes that occur in media production, distribution, and consumption. Technology product applications transcend the borders of traditional media and become an actor on a global scale. The new media applications, products such as information and news are rapidly spreading from the country of manufacture to the whole world. The internet has been improved in these developments and  increased the relationship of many tools with each other. Social media also part of the new media like internet. Social media is not only as an information  instrument but also unify some Typography lecturers from all over the world to join in virtual community. They made global alliance from all over countries. According to the principles of media morphosis analysis, there are co-evolution, convergency, and complexity in “Type Unite” as virtual community. Typographers from all over the world has adapted with new media platform and productively use as a tools to collaborate and to do some typography works. New media supports the participant to interact and build virtual community in global collaboration. Type Unite can be a model and inspiration for others to make a virtual community with specific theme.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how brand perception and price influence patrons' decisions at the Bu Imas Bandung restaurant. For three (three) months, from December 2022 to December 2022, this study was conducted. In this investigation, non-probability sampling was used. This survey has 95 respondents who had bought Mrs. Imas Bandung's items. The method used to collect data on brand image, pricing, and purchase decision variables was a questionnaire. The data analysis techniques used include partial hypothesis testing, or t tests, descriptive analyses, normality tests, validity tests, and reliability tests. The descriptive analysis's findings for elements influencing brand image, pricing, and purchasing behavior are in the "very good" range. Brand image and pricing considerably and favorably influence consumer choice at the Bu Imas Bandung restaurant, according to partial correlation research. It has a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions made at the Bu Imas Bandung restaurant based on the concurrent study of brand image and price.

Abstract

In this study, customer relationship management will be used as a mediating variable to examine the effects of digital marketing and trust on online purchase choices made by e-commerce customers in Bandung City. The participants or demographic in this study are online shoppers in Bandung City. For a structural equation model (SEM) that uses a formula of 9 times the number of indicator variables, which in this case is 138 samples, the requirement for selecting the number of samples is that it must be minimal. 1) Studies show that Bandung City's online purchasing behaviour, customer relationship management, digital marketing, and consumer trust are all satisfactory. 2) Customer relationship management in Bandung City is impacted by digital marketing for e-commerce. Trust is a factor in customer relationship management for e-commerce customers in Bandung City. 4) Online purchases made by Bandung City e-commerce customers are influenced by digital marketing.

Abstract

Utilization of information technology in realizing the bureaucracy to improve public services to the community is very important at this time, given the increasingly rapid development of technology. The development of information technology realizes the absence of clear boundaries between one region and another in Indonesia. Currently, how the government in Jakarta has been able to utilize information technology facilities and infrastructure to provide excellent service to the community. So that services can be provided quickly, precisely, and easily. The research method used in this study is qualitative research using a descriptive approach. This qualitative research is used to examine the condition of the object scientifically how the use of information technology can be able to provide changes to the public service bureaucracy in Jakarta so that services can be enjoyed by all levels of society.
