Abstract

Abstract

Blended learning is a relevant learning model to answer the challenges of the 21st century, where technology and the internet play an important role. However, the implementation of blended learning in higher education still faces obstacles in adjusting modern educational values with spiritual values. This study aims to analyze blended learning from the perspective of the Qur'an, with a case study at University of Raharja, Tangerang City. The main challenges raised is how blended learning can be integrated with the values of the Qur'an to create holistic learning. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach of the Miles and Huberman model to systematically describe data from various references. In addition, the thematic interpretation method (tafsîr maudhû’î) is used to analyze relevant verses of the Qur'an. The results of the study indicate that blended learning is in accordance with the learning values in the Qur'an, as reflected in the stories of the prophets and verses about learning from the universe. This model has proven to be flexible, efficient, and effective, as supported by Curtis J. Bonk, Simon Krisztián, and Erica Lynn Kolat. This study also found that blended learning can be a relevant learning solution in the digital era if implemented by considering spiritual aspects. The conclusion of the study is that blended learning not only supports modern learning, but also has a strong foundation in the values of the Qur'an. This makes an important contribution to the development of higher education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of digital skills (DS) on digital work readiness (DWR) among youth, with digital self-efficacy (DSE) as a mediating variable and government digital support (GDS) as a moderating variable. Given the rapid pace of digital transformation reshaping the labor market, understanding the interplay between technical competencies and psychological empowerment is crucial, particularly for young job seekers. A quantitative survey was employed involving 200 respondents aged 18–35 years old in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Data were analyzed using the partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings indicate that DSE is strongly and significantly impacted by DS. Nevertheless, DWR is not directly impacted by DS. Rather, DSE plays a crucial function as a psychological facilitator by fully mediating the link between DS and DWR. However, the statistically insignificant moderating effect of GDS on the relationship between DS and DWR indicates that this pathway is not strengthened by GDS. This study is context-specific to youth in the Yogyakarta region and focuses solely on the integration of DS, DSE, and GDS in predicting DWR. Further research could expand the demographic scope and incorporate additional socio-contextual factors to deepen understanding of digital employability. This study contributes a novel empirical model by integrating both psychological and institutional dimensions into the analysis of DWR. It challenges the conventional reliance on technical training alone and underscores the critical need for confidence-building and GDS to enhance youth employability.

Abstract

Modern educational leadership in 2026 is often trapped by rigid bureaucracy, ignoring the moral-spiritual aspects of the Quran as a complete guide to life. The gap between formal power orientation and the integrity of the murabbi (leader) is a major problem hindering the substantial development of the teaching profession. This study aims to explore the synergy between managerial practices and prophetic values at SDIT Rafflesia Depok through a mixed-methods sequential exploratory design. The research began with a qualitative phase through participant observation and in-depth interviews with thirty-seven participants, followed by quantitative measurement using a questionnaire instrument with proven reliability. The study findings revealed that the systematic internalization of the qualities of shiddiq (honest), amanah (trustworthy), fathonah (faithful), and tabligh (prophetic) can create policy transparency and a healthy organizational culture. The principal acts as a good example, empowering teachers through the use of smart technology and collective knowledge-sharing sessions. Quantitatively, the management of forty personnel and four hundred and eighty-three students resulted in a highly significant level of parental satisfaction. The main conclusion confirms that the integration of Quranic values into school leadership is not merely a formality, but rather a key driver in building a competitive, holistic educational ecosystem. The prophetic leadership paradigm has proven effective in enhancing the pedagogical competence and moral fortitude of teaching staff amidst the dynamics of massive global change and challenges in today's digital era, enabling them to realize the profile of a noble civilization. ABSTRAK Kepemimpinan pendidikan modern tahun 2026 sering terjebak birokrasi kaku, mengabaikan aspek moral-spiritual Al-Qur'an sebagai pedoman hidup paripurna.

Abstract

Learning motivation remains a significant challenge in Islamic education and character education, where teacher-centred instruction often limits students' engagement and participation. Although the visual auditory kinesthetic (VAK) learning model has been widely implemented, its role as a motivational pedagogical framework has received limited empirical attention. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the VAK learning model in enhancing senior high school students' learning motivation by conceptualising it as a multimodal instructional strategy integrating visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning experiences. A quantitative quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group was employed. The participants comprised 53 Grade XI students from a public senior high school in Riau, Indonesia, including 27 students in the experimental group and 26 students in the control group. Data were collected using a validated learning motivation questionnaire administered before and after the intervention and analysed using descriptive statistics and ANCOVA. The findings indicated that students receiving VAK-based instruction demonstrated significantly higher post-test motivation than those receiving conventional instruction, with an adjusted mean difference of 18.06 points and a large practical effect. The study's novelty lies in reconceptualising VAK as a motivational framework that promotes competence, relatedness, and autonomy through multimodal learning. However, the findings are limited by the small sample from a single school and the use of short-term self-reported motivation measures. The results suggest that structured multimodal instruction can foster more engaging, learner-centred Islamic Education classrooms.
