Abstract

Education management in the modern era is increasingly complex and dynamic, along with technological developments, social change, and the demands of globalization. The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze various approaches to effective school management in modern education management, as well as to recommend models that can be implemented in various types of schools. This study uses a library study method, which is a systematic approach to collecting, analyzing, and analyzing relevant information from various available literature sources. The results of the study concluded that the recommended school management model is a combination of transformational leadership, school-based management, technology utilization, and data-based management. This model allows for flexibility, community participation, and optimal use of resources. In addition, schools must also develop a dynamic and future-oriented curriculum and apply the principle of sustainability in their operations. With this research, it is hoped that it can provide insight for educational leaders, educators, and policy makers in formulating better education management strategies that are relevant to the needs of the times.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of the Aqidah Akhlak subject as an effective medium in instilling character values in students in madrasas. Amidst the moral crisis that is hitting the younger generation, character education has become a major focus in the national education system. As an integral part of Islamic education, Aqidah Akhlak learning has a strategic position in shaping the character of students who are faithful, honest, tolerant, and have noble character. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that Aqidah Akhlak learning is effective in internalising character values through the integration of faith material with students' daily practices. Values such as honesty, trustworthiness, responsibility, discipline, as well as politeness and respect for teachers and parents are successfully instilled through teacher role models, habituation, and contextual learning. However, challenges were also found, such as less-than-optimal learning strategies, the negative influence of digital media, and weak control in the application of values outside the madrasah environment. Thus, it is necessary to strengthen the curriculum, innovate methodology, and increase the role of teachers as character facilitators in facing the challenges of the times. Keywords: Aqidah Akhlak, media, character values, students

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Canva-based Interactive E-Module for Hadith Science to improve the quality of learning media for grade XI students of MA Al-Mukmin Ngruki. The study used a research and development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, including the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The needs analysis showed that most students had difficulty understanding abstract concepts such as sanad, matan, and hadith classification and preferred interactive digital learning media. The design and development stage resulted in a module that integrates text, visualisations, diagrams, interactive quizzes, and video links according to multimedia learning principles. Validation by material and media experts obtained an average score of 4.45 (89%) and 4.35 (87%), and was declared very feasible. Implementation on 30 students as trial participants obtained a score of 4.32 (86%), indicating the module is effective in facilitating understanding, increasing motivation, and active involvement of students. Formative evaluation included revisions to the glossary, typography, and examples of hadith. The results of the study prove that the Canva-based interactive E-Module is able to be an innovative, interesting, and effective learning medium in supporting the understanding of Hadith Science for the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the strategies and factors that influence the instilling of disciplined character in students at Mutiara Insan Islamic Middle School. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the instilling of discipline is implemented through four main strategies, namely: (1) religious habits in the form of morning prayers, recitation of the Koran, and roll call before studying to establish regular time; (2) the role model of teachers—especially Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers—and the implementation of rules accompanied by educational sanctions such as reading the Qur'an and reflection; (3) the development of a positive school culture that emphasizes the values of politeness, orderliness, and responsibility; and (4) collaboration with parents in supervising and fostering discipline at home. The success of this strategy is supported by four important factors, namely the leadership of the principal, the role of PAI teachers and other teachers as role models, an Islamic school culture integrated into learning activities, and support from parents and the environment. These findings indicate that the instilling of discipline at Mutiara Insan Islamic Middle School takes place in an integrative, sustainable manner and is able to become a model of Islamic character education that is relevant to the demands of the times.
