Abstract

The purposes of this study are to explain (1) the form of politeness principles by language teacher languages and female students in the learning process of Indonesian language at SMA Al Abidin Bilingual Boarding School (SMA ABBS), (2) violation to politeness principle of female teachers and female students in learning process of Indonesian learning in SMA ABBS.  Using qualitative approach, this study assigned the 2nd graders of SMA ABBS as the research subjet. Data were collected using recording techniques. Validity in this study was examined using method triangulation. Results of this study show five varieties of politeness principles including maxim of tact, generousity, praise, humanity and consciousness and the violations of the five maxims do occur in learning process of Indonesian language among teachers and female students.

Abstract

After conducting research with an in-depth study of the moral aspects with the perspective of Islamic Archipelago in the children’s story on Bobo Magazine and Kompas Daily, two substantial findings were found. First, the dominant moral values in children’s stories are the value of hard work, honesty, obedience, responsibility, friendship, courage, discipline, compassion, sharing, and creativity, all of which are related to children’s moral formation. Second, values moral stories of children in the context of the Islamic archipelago related to the relationship of children’s moral values in children’s stories in the context of Islam based on the Al-Qur’an and Al-Hadits and the context of children’s moral values in children in the context of Indonesian humanity and Archipelago culture.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the exam by utilizing game applications in Indonesian subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Polanharjo. This study involved a teacher and four students, consisting of two students in class X and two in class XI. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study strategy; research data is obtained by observation and interviews; data validity is done by triangulation of data and sources. The results of the research: (1) the implementation of the Indonesian language exam at SMA Negeri 1 Polanharjo has used the Scorative game application as a learning evaluation tool; (2) the advantages of using Scorative games in exams, namely making students more enthusiastic in carrying out exams and making the exam atmosphere more fun; (3) deficiencies in the use of Scorative games, namely that they cannot be used for large-scale examinations due to limited facilities and infrastructure as well as the competence of human resources in the use of technology; and (4) obstacles that arise in the implementation of game-based exams, namely the readiness factor for the quality and quantity of devices, networks, and the level of students' understanding of the use of applications.

Abstract

Bahan ajar merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam pembelajaran, karena bahan ajar mendukung proses pembelajaran. Penggunaan bahan ajar juga tidak lepas dari pendidikan karakter. Pendidikan karakter menjadi salah satu tujuan dalam pelaksanaan pendidikan berdasarkan kurikulum 2013. Pendidikan karakter dimaksudkan untuk membuat peserta didik memiliki pribadi baik yang dapat membangun Bangsa. Terdapat dua aspek penting dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, yaitu aspek Bahasa dan aspek sastra. Peran kasrya sastra pada dasarnya adalah membentuk watak dan kepribadian seseorang, cerpen sebagai bahan ajar perlu memuat nilai pendidikan karakter. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis nilai pendidikan karakter dalam teks cerpen dalam buku ajar Sekolah Menengah Atas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatiffan teknik yang digunakan ialah analisis isi (content analysis). Penelitian ini menjabarkan hasil analisis buku ajar Bahasa Indonesia SMA yang difokuskan pada nilai karakter dalam materi cerpen. Temuan keseluruhan dari enam cerpen yang dianalisis dari tiga buku ajar penerbit PT Bumi Aksara, Yrama Widya dan Kemendikbud terdapat dua nilai karakter yang tidak termuat dalam buku ajar tersebut, yaitu olah raga dan olah hati pada buku ajar terbitan Kemendikbud dengan judul Matahari Tak Terbit Pagi Ini. Namun demikian, secara menyeluruh dapat digeneralisasikan bahwa cerpen yang terdapat dalam buku ajar kelas X1 mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia memuat nilai pendidikan karakter. Analisis karakter setiap bahan ajar akan memberikan manfaat positif terhadap pribadi dan sikap siswa setelah pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal and describe the phenomenon of disharmony between humans and the environment in the novel Lelaki Harimau by Eka Kurniawan. The form of this research is descriptive qualitative. This is motivated by the fact that the analysis of this research is considered a literary product that forms the conceptual basis. The data source of this research is a novel entitled Lelaki Harimau by Eka Kurniawan. The data of this research include words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that focus on the disharmony of humans with the environment in the novel. The data were collected using document study techniques, namely by recording documents or archives related to the problem being studied. The results showed that in Eka Kurniawan's novel Lelaki Harimau, there were four forms of disharmony between humans and the environment, namely (1) exploitation of animals, (2) exploitation of forests, (3) pollutants, and (4) land functions. The form of disharmony that is most often found in the novel is related to the problem of animal exploitation.AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengungkapkan dan mendeskripsikan fenomena disharmoni manusia dengan lingkungan dalam novel Lelaki Harimau karya Eka Kurniawan. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hal itu dilatarbelakangi bahwa analisis penelitian ini dianggap sebagai produk sastra yang menjadi landasan konseptual. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa novel berjudul Lelaki Harimau karya Eka Kurniawan. Data penelitian ini mencakupi kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat yang berfokus pada disharmoni manusia dengan lingkungan dalam novel tersebut. Data-data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik studi dokumen, yakni dengan cara mencatat dokumen atau arsip yang berkaitan dengan masalah yang sedang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam novel Lelaki Harimau karya Eka Kurniawan terdapat empat bentuk disharmoni manusia dengan lingkungan, yaitu (1) eksploitasi binatang, (2) eksploitasi hutan, (3) polutan, dan (4) penyalahgunaan fungsi lahan. Bentuk disharmoni yang paling sering ditemukan dalam novel tersebut ialah terkait masalah eksploitasi binatang.

Abstract

The Kartini Muda activity in literature is a poetry reading activity held by Hima PBSI FKIP Muria Kudus University which was attended by seventeen high school students in Pati Residency, Central Java Province. The background of this research is that there are many literary activities or poetry reading competitions held by institutions or communities in the community, but not many analyze and describe the poetry skills of the participants in detail. Even though the analysis and description are important to be known by participants, the community, teachers, and also students because they can be used as references for poetry reading assessments. The purpose of this study is to describe poetry reading skills in young Kartini videos with literature. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data used are poetry reading videos sent by participants. The results showed that reading poetry in the Kartini Muda Bersastra activity in terms of appreciation, expression, pronunciation, intonation, and appearance were very good, good, adequate, and lacking; while for the appearance of all students have shown a pretty good poetry reading.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a short story appreciation assessment instrument using the Ruang Sastra Website and Spreadsheet for high school students. This study used the Research and Development method from Borg and Gall. The subjects in this study were teachers and high school students. The data used are qualitative and quantitative, with data collection techniques through questionnaires distributed to teachers and students online using Google Forms, interviews with teachers, and expert validation. The data analysis technique in this study was in the form of descriptive analysis of scores obtained from the validation results of experts, practitioners, and response questionnaires. The results of this study indicated that developing a short story appreciation assessment instrument based on websites and spreadsheets for high school students was feasible in terms of exploratory studies, development of assessment instrument designs, and expert validation tests.

Abstract

This study is aimed to describe and explain: (1) the process of writing anecdote text based on 2013 curriculum 2016 revision which was conducted by the teachers of Indonesia Language subjects in class X SMK Negeri 1 Gondang Sragen, (2) the existing obstacles in the process of writing anecdote text 2013 curriculum 2016 revision in class X SMK Negeri 1 Gondang Sragen, and 3) the teachers’ efforts to overcome the obstacles encountered in the process of writing anecdote text based on 2013 curriculum 2016 revision in class X SMK Negeri 1 Gondang Sragen. This qualitative research uses case study approach. The data sources in this research were events (the process of writing anecdote text), informants (teachers and students), and documents (syllabus and lesson plan). The results show that the implementation of learning to write anecdote text based on 2013 curriculum 2016 revision needs more in-depth assessment in order to improve planning, implementation, and assessment. It is also based on the encountered obstacles occurred in the learning process. Thus, the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum 2016 revision which is in line with the concepts and regulations of the government can be achieved. Abstract

Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam mendeskripsikan asesmen penggunaan aplikasi Moodle untuk Penilaian Akhir Tahun (PAT) mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia di SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. Penggunaan aplikasi Moodle ini sudah dilaksanakan selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Data disajikan dan dianalisis menggunakan narasi deskriptif, studi kasus, analisis dokumen, dan wawancara mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penggunaan aplikasi Moodle saat PAT cukup mudah digunakan baik untuk guru dan siswa. Guru mudah dalam penginputan soal, sementara siswa mudah dalam pengoprasiannya. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah (1) masalah jaringan yang berbeda-beda di setiap siswa, (2) ada soal yang kurang lengkap, (3) layar ponsel yang kecil membuat siswa tidak nyaman, dan (4) karakteristik soal bahasa Indonesia yang terlalu panjang membuat mata siswa lelah dan menurunkan konsentrasi, (5) pengawas yang kurang bersungguh-sungguh dalam mengawasi pengerjaan PAT, dan (6) aplikasi Moodle yang masih dapat membuka aplikasi lain ketika pengerjaan tes sehingga siswa masih dapat membuka aplikasi lain ketika mengerjakan soal, sehingga masih tinggi tingkat kecurangan. This study contributes to describing an evaluation using the Moodle application for the Year-End Assessment (PAT) of Indonesian subjects at SMA Negeri 7 Surakarta. The use of this Moodle application was implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic. Data are presented and analyzed using descriptive narratives, case studies, document analysis, and in-depth interviews. The results showed that the use of the Moodle application when PAT was relatively easy to use for both teachers and students. Teachers are accessible to input questions, while students are easy to operate. The obstacles faced are (1) different network problems for each student, (2) there are preliminary questions, (3) the small mobile phone screen makes students uncomfortable, and (4) the characteristics of the Indonesian language questions that are too long make it challenging to read. Students' eyes get tired and decrease concentration, (5) supervisors who are not severe about supervising PAT work, and (6) Moodle application which can still open other applications when working on tests, so students can still open other applications when working on questions, so it is still high cheating rate.

Abstract

Materi ajar dalam kurikulum pendidikan perlu memuat nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Hal tersebut bertujuan agar peserta didik tidak sekadar mendapatkan kompetensi pedagogik, namun juga kompetensi afektif yang dilandasi dengan nilai-nilai luhur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemanfaatan materi ajar bahasa Indonesia bermuatan kearifan lokal yang dikembangkan oleh guru SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar. Metode penelitian ini kualitatif dengan pendekatan analisis dokumen dan studi kasus. Data dan sumber data diperoleh dari hasil analisis dokumen, observasi, serta wawancara kepada guru dan peserta didik. Uji Validitas data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik triangulasi data metode dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Hasthalaku yakni: gotong royong, grapyak semanak (ramah tamah), guyub rukun (kerukunan), lembah manah (rendah hati), ewuh pekewuh (saling menghormati), pangerten (saling menghargai), andhap asor (berbudi luhur), dan tepa slira (tenggang rasa) dalam materi ajar yang dikembangkan guru SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar. Selain itu, pengembangan materi ajar bahasa Indonesia bermuatan kearifan lokal dapat menjadi alternatif cerdas memperkenalkan, mendalami, dan menanamkan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa Indonesia kepada peserta didik. Pemanfaatan materi ajar bahasa Indonesia bermuatan kearifan lokal mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar, rasa memiliki (handarbeni), meningkatkan minat menulis, dan motivasi berprestasi peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar. Integrasi kearifan lokal dalam pengembangan materi ajar Bahasa Indonesia diperlukan supaya peserta didik peserta didik tidak kehilangan jati dirinya sebagai warga negara Indonesia yang memiliki keanekaragaman suku dan budaya.
