Abstract

This study aims to explore and synthesize findings from various previous studies related to optimizing work motivation and training in improving employee performance in companies. A literature review was conducted by analyzing 15 relevant research articles using a qualitative approach. The review results indicate that work motivation is influenced by intrinsic factors such as achievement, recognition, the work itself, as well as extrinsic factors such as administration, policies, salary, and working conditions. Some motivation theories discussed include Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, Herzberg's two-factor theory, and contemporary motivation theories. Meanwhile, the types of job training identified include on-the-job training, off-the-job training, technical & technology training, as well as problem-solving and interpersonal skills training. Job training has been shown to have a positive influence in increasing employees' knowledge, skills and performance.

Abstract

This research focuses on the identification and analysis of employee performance factors in the context of the manufacturing industry. Through a comprehensive literature review, the study explores different aspects of organizations and how they interact with employee performance. Factors such as leadership, communication, motivation, work environment, and professional development are analyzed to understand the effect of employee performance. The results of this study are expected to provide new insights for stakeholders in the manufacturing industry to understand and improve organizational culture and employee performance. The research also highlights the need for further research in this area to understand the complex dynamics between organizational culture and employee performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Self Efficacy dan Work Engagement terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT. Aroma Mega Sari Tanjung Morawa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan tetap PT. Aroma Mega Sari Tanjung Morawa dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 68 karyawan tetap, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Self Efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Work Engagement juga memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Secara simultan, Self Efficacy dan Work Engagement berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi kepada perusahaan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan keterlibatan kerja karyawan guna mendukung pencapaian target perusahaan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi efektivitas program pelatihan dan pengembangan karyawan di PT. Visi Sukses Bersama dengan menilai kinerja karyawan dan dampaknya terhadap kinerja perusahaan PT. Visi Sukses Bersama.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data deskriptif non-numerik. Peneliti berfokus pada makna dan konteks data, bukan statistik. Ini memberikan gambaran lengkap tentang fenomena yang diteliti. Metode pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi dari berbagai dokumen yang sudah ada seperti catatan, laporan, dan foto tanpa observasi langsung atau wawancara. Hasil dari Penelitian ini adalah Evaluasi pada PT. Visi Sukses Bersama menunjukkan bahwa program pelatihan efektif, dengan respon positif dari peserta, implementasi pengetahuan dalam pekerjaan, dan rencana tindak lanjut yang baik. Penilaian kinerja karyawan membantu mengidentifikasi kebutuhan pengembangan dan area di mana karyawan perlu meningkatkan kinerjanya. Secara keseluruhan, manajemen yang efektif terhadap program pelatihan dan pengembangan serta penilaian kinerja karyawan dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan perusahaan.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of marketing strategies and teamwork on sales effectiveness at PT Sumber Jaya Motor Honda Medan. The marketing strategies implemented include promotions through events, brochure distribution, and the use of social media to reach consumers. Solid teamwork between departments, such as marketing, sales, and customer service, is the key to implementing these strategies effectively. The results of the study show that although the sales contribution from promotional events is relatively small, social media and brochure distribution have a significant impact on increasing sales. Synergy between teams allows companies to maximize the potential of marketing strategies, increase brand awareness, and maintain competitiveness in the automotive market.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of product variations and marketing location on purchasing decisions at 900 Medan coffeeshops. The sampling technique used in this research used nonprobability sampling with purposive sampling, so that the total sample obtained was 100 respondents. The data collection techniques used were literature study, interviews and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression model and hypothesis testing, t test, f test and coefficient of determination. The data has previously been tested using validity tests, reliability tests and classical assumptions, data processing using SPSS 26.0 for windows. Based on the test results, it shows that product variations and marketing locations have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Based on the R Square statistical test in this research, it was 0.645 or 64.5%, this shows that purchasing decision variables can be influenced by product variation variables and marketing location.

Abstract

This research analyzes the role of the Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) as a frontliner in the marketing strategy for Wardah products, one of the leading cosmetic brands in Indonesia. Using qualitative methods through in-depth interviews and observations, this research found that SPG has a significant contribution in increasing brand awareness, customer loyalty and product sales effectiveness. The research results also reveal that communication skills, adaptation to digital marketing trends, and collaboration with the marketing team are key factors for SPG's success in achieving marketing targets. This research suggests the importance of ongoing training, attention to SPG welfare, and strengthening cross-functional collaboration to increase the effectiveness of SPG's role in supporting Wardah's marketing strategy.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of teamwork on employee performance at Kemang Jaya 2 Restaurant using a qualitative approach. The results of the study indicate that effective teamwork, supported by good communication and inclusive leadership, has a positive impact on increasing employee productivity and job satisfaction. However, challenges such as work discipline and interpersonal conflict are still obstacles that need to be managed strategically. The recommendations of this study include communication training, conflict management, and collaborative skills development to create a more conducive work environment. With this strategy, it is hoped that organizations can improve operational effectiveness and competitiveness in the competitive restaurant industry.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of training and human resource development (HR) on the increase in sales at motorcycle dealers in Medan. In the increasingly competitive automotive industry, motorcycle dealers must improve their service quality and sales strategy. This research uses a quantitative approach with a sample of 80 employees from various motorcycle dealers in Medan. The results of the analysis show that HR training and development has a significant positive impact on sales performance. Effective training improves the technical and non-technical skills of employees, while human resource development contributes to motivation and job satisfaction. These findings emphasize the importance of investing in training and development to achieve competitive advantage in the automotive market.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana promosi dari mulut ke mulut dan suasana toko Niscala Coffee memengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Teknik kuantitatif dari penelitian ini adalah dengan mendistribusikan kuesioner kepada 110 responden yang dipilih secara acak. Untuk menilai data, digunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa suasana ritel dan promosi dari mulut ke mulut memiliki dampak positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Kedua aspek tersebut secara bersamaan memengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Temuan ini menyoroti betapa pentingnya mengelola suasana perusahaan dan menggunakan iklan dari mulut ke mulut untuk memengaruhi keputusan pelanggan.
