Abstract

Pelatihan ini dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan guru dalam menghadapi bencana. Pentingnya topik ini terletak pada tingginya risiko bencana di daerah tersebut dan perlunya pendidikan mitigasi bencana yang komprehensif bagi para guru. Metode pengabdian meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap persiapan, dilakukan penyesuaian jadwal, koordinasi, rekrutmen peserta, sosialisasi kegiatan, dan tes kemampuan awal guru. Pelaksanaan terdiri dari pelatihan pengembangan kemampuan mitigasi bencana dan penyusunan pembelajaran berbasis komunitas sosial. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru tentang mitigasi bencana. Pengetahuan mengenai berbagai jenis bencana dan konsep mitigasi meningkat sebesar 85% dan 90%, sementara keterampilan dalam pembuatan rencana penanggulangan bencana dan teknik evakuasi meningkat sebesar 88% dan 92%. Integrasi isu kebencanaan dalam kurikulum dan penerapan metode pembelajaran berbasis proyek juga berhasil dilakukan dengan peningkatan sebesar 87% dan 83%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan guru dan dapat dijadikan model untuk program serupa di wilayah rawan bencana lainnya. Implementasi strategi mitigasi yang efektif diharapkan dapat mengurangi risiko dan dampak bencana, serta meningkatkan keselamatan dan kesejahteraan siswa dan komunitas sekolah.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesiapan dan kompetensi guru dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan modern. Topik ini dipilih karena pentingnya integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran serta perlunya penguatan karakter melalui Profil Pelajar Pancasila dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar. Metode pengabdian ini meliputi tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Persiapan mencakup penyesuaian jadwal, koordinasi dengan pihak terkait, rekrutmen peserta, sosialisasi kegiatan, dan tes kemampuan awal guru. Pelaksanaan terdiri dari dua kegiatan utama: pelatihan pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi pada Kurikulum Merdeka dan pengembangan proyek penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila. Evaluasi hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam penggunaan teknologi pendidikan, pengembangan materi pembelajaran interaktif, serta integrasi nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila ke dalam kurikulum dan pembelajaran. Guru menjadi lebih kompeten dalam merancang dan menerapkan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini efektif dan dapat menjadi model untuk program serupa di wilayah lain. Implementasi strategi pendidikan yang efektif diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan kesiapsiagaan guru dalam menghadapi perubahan kurikulum dan tantangan teknologi pendidikan, serta memperkuat karakter siswa melalui nilai-nilai Pancasila.

Abstract

Wilayah rawan bencana memerlukan kesiapsiagaan yang tinggi, terutama di kalangan guru sekolah dasar yang memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan mitigasi bencana. Program pelatihan mitigasi bencana dan pengembangan kurikulum berbasis komunitas sosial lokal bagi guru SD di wilayah rawan bencana ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam menghadapi bencana. Metode pelatihan mencakup dua kegiatan utama: pelatihan mitigasi bencana yang mencakup perencanaan evakuasi, penggunaan teknologi, dan strategi komunikasi; serta pelatihan penyusunan kurikulum berbasis komunitas sosial lokal yang mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan keterampilan mitigasi bencana, dengan rata-rata peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan sebesar 67%. Selain itu, pelatihan kurikulum menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 66,7%. Strategi pembelajaran partisipatif yang melibatkan komunitas terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana di sekolah. Dampak positif terlihat pada kesiapan dan kepercayaan diri guru, serta kesiapsiagaan seluruh komunitas sekolah. Hasil ini menekankan pentingnya pendidikan dan pelatihan berkelanjutan, serta pendekatan berbasis komunitas dalam upaya mitigasi bencana, menjadikan program ini sebagai model efektif untuk diterapkan di wilayah rawan bencana lainnya.

Abstract

Developing diagnostic tests for differentiated learning in Kurikulum Merdeka is becoming increasingly important to address today's learning challenges. Diagnostic tests can help teachers more effectively identify students' needs and abilities so that they can improve learning effectiveness and better achieve learning goals in Kurikulum Merdeka. The aim of this research is to develop a digital diagnostic test instrument for the differentiated learning process for elementary school students that is valid and suitable for use. This research is development research. The product developed is a digital diagnostic test instrument. The results of the development research produced a digital diagnostic test instrument for the differentiated learning process in elementary schools that is valid and suitable for use in measuring the learning styles of elementary school students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low Pancasila student profile values in elementary school students, caused by suboptimal learning processes that need to facilitate active student interaction, provide more time for individualized approaches, support 21st-century skills, focus on character development, and leverage technology. Hence, there is a need to develop a learning model that addresses these aspects. This research aims to develop a flipped classroom learning model based on social and emotional learning that is valid and effective in improving the Pancasila student profile values in elementary school students. This research employs the ADDIE model for development and involves nine validators and 200 elementary school students. The research instruments include observation sheets, validation questionnaires, and Pancasila student profile questionnaires. Data analysis techniques include descriptive statistical analysis and T-test statistical analysis using the JAMOVI application. The results of this study demonstrate that the developed flipped classroom learning model based on social and emotional learning is valid and effective in improving the Pancasila student profile values in elementary school students. The implications of this research can serve as a foundation for developing and enhancing the Pancasila student profile values in elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid digital assessment model using a STEM-based approach to effectively measure higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) among prospective elementary school teachers. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method, adapted from the Borg & Gall model, involving expert validation, preliminary field testing, and main field testing at Universitas Samudra’s Elementary Teacher Education program. Instrument validity was examined through the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test and correlation analysis among indicators. The results showed that the developed model achieved high validity, with strong KMO values and significant indicator correlations, confirming its construct soundness. Additionally, the model enabled real-time feedback, enhancing students’ conceptual understanding and application of HOTS in STEM-related tasks. The discussion highlights how integrating technology and STEM principles into assessment design supports more interactive and reflective learning. The model also addressed challenges in traditional HOTS assessment, such as lack of immediacy and contextual relevance. In conclusion, the STEM-based HOTS digital assessment model provides an effective and practical tool for evaluating prospective teachers' higher-order thinking, offering significant implications for improving teacher education and elementary classroom practices.

Abstract

Character assessment in science and social studies in elementary schools still faces various obstacles, particularly regarding the limited instruments available to accommodate differences in student characteristics and their social and cultural contexts. The main objective of this study was to develop a valid and effective Differentiated Adaptive Digital Assessment model to measure character values using an ethnosocial approach in elementary school students in science and social studies learning. This study used the Research and Development (R&D) method with the following stages: information gathering, model planning, prototype development, expert validation, preliminary field testing, and main field testing. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that the developed model was valid in content and construct and highly reliable (α > 0.85). All components of the model, from the character assessment rubric, ethno-social contextual tasks, adaptive digital platform, to the implementation guide, significantly contributed to measuring students' character values fairly and meaningfully. This study contributes to developing technology-based character assessment that is inclusive and culturally relevant at the elementary education level.

Abstract

Science education at the elementary school level requires an approach that can improve conceptual understanding and higher-order thinking skills, such as computational thinking. A Deep Learning-based learning model integrated with Eco-STEAM and Edutainment has the potential to facilitate more in-depth, contextual, and engaging science learning. This study aims to test the validity of this learning model for application in elementary schools. The approach used is research and development (R&D) with validation techniques by three education experts through the first stage for initial assessment and the second stage after revisions based on expert input. The results show that the developed learning model obtained an average score of 148.4 out of 175 in the first stage (valid category) and increased to 160.9 in the second stage (highly valid category) after improvements were made to several model components. The discussion shows that this model effectively integrates deep learning with the Eco-STEAM approach and edutainment media, which supports students' understanding of science concepts while developing their CT skills and ecological awareness. This study implies that this model can be implemented in science learning in elementary schools, considering further revisions involving field implementation and adjustments to local characteristics and school infrastructure.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the learning conducted by the teacher that does not involve students in real problems so that the critical thinking ability of elementary school students in learning social science is low. The purpose of this study was to improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students using a model of problem-based learning in social studies learning. This research was a classroom action research. The study was conducted on students in the 4th grade at SDN 26 Singkarak with a total of 30 students. These results addressed an increase in students' critical thinking skills from an average score of the initial ability of 65.79, cycle 1 got an average score of 73.87 and increased in cycle 2 with an average score of 81.23. The results showed an increase in the critical thinking skills of elementary school students using a problem-based learning model. This research can be concluded that using problem-based learning can improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. This research implies that it can be used as a reference for improving the critical thinking skills of elementary school students.
