Abstract

This study examines how perceived price fairness and consumer social experience affect customer engagement and repurchase intention among street coffee consumers in Indonesia. Using a quantitative explanatory approach with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) on data from 400 respondents, the research identifies a dual-value dynamic between economic fairness and social experience in shaping consumer loyalty. The findings show that price fairness does not significantly influence engagement but directly increases repurchase intention, indicating that transparent pricing builds rational trust and behavioral loyalty. In contrast, consumer social experience strongly enhances both engagement and repurchase intention, confirming that emotional connection and social belonging are the main drivers of repeat behavior. Customer engagement also significantly predicts repurchase intention and mediates the relationship between social experience and loyalty, while its mediating effect between price fairness and loyalty is insignificant. These results demonstrate that engagement functions as a psychological bridge between social interaction and behavioral commitment. The study contributes to understanding consumer loyalty in informal markets and suggests that entrepreneurs should combine fair pricing with interactive, community-based experiences to strengthen customer trust and long-term loyalty.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media has transformed digital marketing strategies, particularly through TikTok as a platform for fashion product promotion. Influencer marketing and content quality have become important factors that may influence consumer brand loyalty. This study aims to examine the effect of influencer marketing and content quality on brand loyalty among TikTok users who consume fashion products in Medan, Indonesia. This research uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 385 active TikTok users in Medan who had experienced fashion product promotions through influencers. The sampling method combined purposive and accidental sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLLS software. The findings indicate that influencer marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand loyalty, with a path coefficient of 0.622, t-statistic of 10.850, and p-value of 0.000. Content quality also has a positive and significant effect, with a path coefficient of 0.189, t-statistic of 3.474, and p-value of 0.001. The R² value of 0.616 shows that influencer marketing and content quality simultaneously explain 61.6% of the variation in brand loyalty. The results highlight that influencer marketing has a stronger influence than content quality in building brand loyalty among fashion consumers on TikTok. Therefore, fashion businesses should focus on collaborating with credible influencers and developing engaging, relevant, and high-quality content to strengthen customer relationships and maintain long-term loyalty.

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Program aims to be the answer to realizing independent, flexible and quality learning in higher education in order to create an innovative, open and student-oriented learning culture. The MBKM policy relates to higher education learning activities that give students the right and freedom to study outside the program for three semesters which can be used for on-campus and/or extracurricular studies. Kampus Mengajar is part of the MBKM program which aims to provide opportunities for students to learn and personal development through activities outside the classroom. 3th Kampus Mengajar of 2022 will focus on improving literacy and numeracy skills in basic education. This context is getting stronger considering the condition of literacy and numeracy in Indonesia which is still low in line with efforts to increase literacy and numeracy as one of the national priority agendas. The Kampus Mengajar Program opens up space for students to be able to devote their skills and knowledge in helping these elementary and junior high school students. This program also provides opportunities for students to actualize their passion, enthusiasm, and desires.

Abstract

MSMEs are the foundation of the people's economy that supports the nation's economy. In Indonesia, MSMEs contribute a lot to the regional budget. The position of MSMEs is considered very significant because this sector is not only a source of livelihood, but also provides direct and indirect employment opportunities for people with relatively low levels of knowledge and skills. During Covid-19, MSMEs experienced a significant decline. Do not escape MSMEs in Pematangsiantar City. Many MSMEs are confused because their companies are hindered and cannot even develop. Globally, supply chains have weakened due to the impact of Covid-19 due to restrictions in several surrounding areas, commodity prices have fallen, and the possibility of a global economic crisis has increased. The urgency of carrying out this community service activity with the theme of the Workshop on Optimizing the Use of Social Media and the Importance of Financial Management for IKM/UKM Actors in Pematang Siantar City is to provide additional understanding and knowledge to IKM/UKM owners as well as strategies to increase turnover from sales made. The method used in carrying out this activity is through lectures and discussions related to the topic of service. The stages of implementing this event include opening and explaining social media that is often used by consumers, strategies for using social media, explaining the importance of financial management and existing financial reports for a business. After the community service activities are completed, follow-up interviews are conducted regarding the impact of the community service activities. In accordance with the results of the interviews, it is known that the understanding of SME/UKM actors regarding social media knowledge and financial management has increased by 90%.

Abstract

Abstract

This study examines how Review Response Strategy and Online Reputation shape Marketing Performance, positioning Consumer Trust as a mediating variable and Service Quality as a moderator, within the hospitality sector of Medan City, Indonesia. A quantitative paradigm was adopted, employing Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) applied to data gathered from 130 respondents comprising hotel guests and frontline management staff. The results confirm that both independent variables—Review Response Strategy and Online Reputation—exert significant positive effects on Consumer Trust, which subsequently drives Marketing Performance. Consumer Trust functions as a partial mediator in the pathway from Online Reputation to Marketing Performance. Additionally, Service Quality strengthens the Consumer Trust–Marketing Performance relationship, whereby hotels delivering higher service standards derive greater trust-driven performance gains. An Adjusted R² of 0.720 attests to the model’s robust explanatory capacity. The findings carry actionable implications for hospitality operators in Medan seeking to harness digital review management as a strategic marketing lever.
