Abstract

Background: The Rokat Tase' tradition is a ritual of gratitude and prayers for safety by the people of Tlontoh Rajeh Village, expressing gratitude for the abundant sea harvest. It reflects local wisdom and a close relationship with nature and Islamic teachings. Research Objectives: This research aims to explore how Rokat Tase' has become a symbol of religious moderation in Tlontoh Rajeh Village, identifying factors supporting the sustainability of this tradition and its impact on local social and economic development. Methods: Employing a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the study involved participatory observation, in-depth interviews with community leaders and residents, and a literature review on Rokat Tase' and religious moderation. Data were analysed through triangulation to ensure the validity of findings.The study found that Rokat Tase' in Tlontoh Rajeh Village not only strengthens social solidarity and cultural identity but also embodies harmony between Islamic teachings and local values. Involving all layers of society regardless of social or religious differences, the ritual demonstrates balance and tolerance, core elements of religious moderation. Conclusions: The Rokat Tase' tradition in Tlontoh Rajeh Village is a manifestation rich in spiritual, social, and religious moderation values. Through gratitude for the blessings of the sea and respect for local wisdom, the tradition not only strengthens social bonds but also provides a concrete example of how communities can live harmoniously in diversity, appreciate differences, and embrace educational values such as religious education, social education, and cultural education.

Abstract

Diabetes is a global health issue that continues to rise, especially in Indonesia, caused by unhealthy lifestyles, poor diets, and genetic factors. Early detection of diabetes risk is crucial to prevent serious complications, and machine learning offers innovative predictive solutions. This research focuses on the development of a diabetes risk prediction model using the Decision Tree algorithm with hyperparameter optimization through the Grid Search technique. The research methodology includes the collection of patient medical data with key attributes such as glucose levels, blood pressure, skin health, insulin, body mass index (BMI), diabetes pedigree, age, and health history. The hyperparameter tuning process is carried out by varying key parameters such as the maximum tree depth (max_depth), the minimum number of samples required to split a node (min_samples_split), and the minimum number of samples required at a leaf node (min_samples_leaf). Grid Search is used to systematically explore hyperparameter combinations in order to find the optimal configuration that can improve the model's performance. The research process includes data preprocessing, splitting the dataset into training and testing sets, model training, and evaluation using accuracy metrics, confusion matrix, and ROC AUC curve. The initial results show a model accuracy of 76%, which was then improved to 81% after hyperparameter optimization using Grid Search. The visualization of the decision tree reveals that glucose levels and BMI have the most significant contributions in predicting diabetes risk. This research demonstrates the potential of machine learning in supporting the early detection of diabetes, with the Decision Tree algorithm showing promising predictive capabilities. Nevertheless, further research with larger datasets and the integration of other algorithms is highly recommended to improve the accuracy and generalization of the model. The main contribution of this research is the development of a machine learning-based approach that can assist medical personnel in screening for diabetes risk more efficiently and accurately.

Abstract

This study examines the legal culture dealing with the interaction of religious practices and rituals among interfaith couples in Purwokerto, Central Java, emphasizing the social and legal dynamics influencing family life. In Indonesian society, interfaith marriage presents a complex issue, intersecting between state legal regulations and religious doctrines. By using qualitative methods through in-depth interviews and analysis of legal documents, this research delves into how interfaith couples navigate their daily lives, compromise the religious differences, and adapt to the prevailing legal framework. Legal culture component in legal system, comprising values and attitudes that influence the operation of the law, this research argues that legal culture significantly influences the practices in n t both social and and religious rituals, struggling the efforts to maintain household harmony. The issuance of Supreme Court Circular (SEMA) Number 2 of 2023 gave impact to the comprehensive legal interpretation and adaptation. This study demonstrates of understanding the interrelation of law, religion, and social practices within Indonesia’s religious pluralism and its implications for the legal acknowledgment and spiritual lives of interfaith couples.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Return on Asset (ROA) terhadap Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR) dengan menggunakan model regresi linier sederhana. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, diperoleh persamaan regresi LDR = −8,760 + 0,135×ROA. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa setiap kenaikan satu unit pada ROA akan meningkatkan LDR sebesar 0,135 unit, baik dalam jangka pendek maupun jangka panjang. Uji t dilakukan untuk menguji signifikansi hubungan tersebut, dengan nilai t hitung sebesar 17,882 yang jauh lebih besar daripada t tabel sebesar 0,344 (17,882 > 0,344). Dengan demikian, hipotesis nol (H₀) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Selain itu, uji signifikansi menunjukkan nilai p-value sebesar 0,000, yang lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi 0,005 (0,000 < 0,005), sehingga mendukung keputusan untuk menerima hipotesis alternatif. Analisis koefisien determinasi (R²) menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0,906, yang berarti 90,6% variasi dalam Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR) dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel Return on Asset (ROA). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ROA memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap LDR, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai indikator penting dalam analisis rasio keuangan bank.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the social adaptation strategies of traditional traders in Sukaramai Market, Medan in facing the development of the digital market. With a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores how traditional traders interact and maintain the sustainability of their businesses amidst changes in people's consumption patterns that are more directed towards online shopping. Data were collected through interviews with 3 informants, namely 1 core informant (Grocery Trader) and 2 additional informants (Buyers), observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that traders in Sukaramai Market implement adaptation strategies, such as improving social relations with buyers, maintaining product quality, offering competitive prices, and maintaining business locations. However, the adoption of digital technology is still low due to limited knowledge and resources. This study highlights the importance of government support in helping traditional traders adapt to technology to strengthen the existence of traditional markets in the digital era.

Abstract

ABSTRACT (Inggris) This research discusses the importance of developing multicultural and pluralistic curricula in Islamic religious education to address challenges in today's ethnically, culturally, and religiously diverse society. Using a qualitative methodology with a literature-based approach, the study emphasizes education's vital role in character formation, particularly in building tolerance and coexistence among different religious adherents. The study notes a shift from a one-size-fits-all religious education approach toward an inclusive curriculum that incorporates different religious education curriculum models, fostering mutual respect among students of different faiths. This transition suggests several curriculum reform strategies: how educators, curriculum developers, and stakeholders can collaborate to design an environment that values diversity and enables positive engagement among students from various backgrounds. Abstract

This program aims to enhance tutors' ability to develop e-modules based on local wisdom through Canva training. The methods used in this community service activity include observation, socialization, training and mentoring, as well as evaluation and monitoring. The results show that this training effectively improved tutors' competencies, with 85.7% of participants stating that the training greatly helped in enhancing their skills, and 64.3% of participants indicating that the developed e-modules were practical and easy for students to use. In conclusion, this training had a positive impact by equipping tutors with the technical skills needed to create learning media based on local wisdom, which in turn enhances students' understanding and interest in the learning material.

Abstract

From an environmental literacy perspective, prospective teachers need to have mastery of the domains of knowledge, attitudes, cognitive skills and behavior in teaching practice. This research aims to validate the environmental literacy of prospective biology teachers after learning micro teaching. The environmental literacy measurement instrument used is the Environmental Literacy Assessment of Micro Teaching (ELAMt) in the form of questions in the form of multiple choices and a questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale. The instrument was given to 30 prospective biology teachers in experimental and control classes. This research uses a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. There were 3 activities carried out, namely Focus Group Discussion (FGD), developing instruments, and environmental literacy measurements. The results of the research show that teaching practice in micro teaching has a big effect on increasing the environmental literacy of prospective biology teachers, especially in the domain of environmental literacy knowledge and cognitive skills. On the other hand, teaching training has not been able to significantly increase the domain of positive attitudes and behavior of prospective biology teachers towards the environment. So far, micro teaching has been more dominant in mastering teaching skills and less focused on the affective development of prospective biology teachers. The integration of environmental literacy in the teaching practices of prospective biology teachers is an implication of this research. Overall, it can be concluded that environmental literacy should be integrated into all courses so that can be ingrained in the daily lives of prospective biology teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : 1). Apa upaya Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Seluma dalam pelestarian budaya “Sekujang” menurut Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 56 Tahun 2022 Tentang Kekayaan Intelektual Komunal, 2). Hambatan yang ada dalam melindungi dan melestarikan budaya Sekujang sebagai ekpresi budaya tradisional oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Seluma. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan hukum empiris. Pengumpulan Data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan studi kepustakaan, dan berberapa sumber lainnya yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kualitatif Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: 1) Upaya Pemerintah Kabupaten Seluma dalam melestarikan budaya Sekujang mencakup dokumentasi, pengumpulan data, dan penelitian, pelatihan dan pendidikan terkait Sekujang pada generasi muda dan masyarakat setempat. 2) Hambatan yang ada dalam melindungi dan melestarikan budaya Sekujang sebagai ekpresi budaya tradisional oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Seluma.meliputi : Kurangnya anggaran dan sumber daya, kurangnya kajian dan dokumentasi, perubahan sosial dan nilai budaya, dan pengaruh globalisasi.

Abstract

In Islamic education, building relationships between human resources is the most important thing to create a harmonious climate and efforts to achieve institutional goals. The aim is to explore the management efforts made by school principals in building human resource relationships. The method used is a library research method. The primary data is a study of school principal management and building HR relationships, while secondary data is obtained from supporting literature related to the context of this research. Then, the analysis process goes through the stages of sorting and selecting (reduction), presenting it (presentation), and drawing conclusions (conclusions). This research found that school principals in building relationships between human resources were studied in two ways, including: 1) The process of building relationships between teachers can be done by emphasizing communication between teachers through coordination in every educational activity. 2) Building relationships between teachers and students can be done through a management process which includes planning, organizing, mobilizing and controlling, which is included in every institutional activity, such as in activities with a socio-emotional approach or a religious approach.
