Abstract

The rapid development of technology has a positive impact on the Indonesian economy as seen by the tendency of people to switch from using cash as a means of payment to using non-cash payments, which are more economical and efficient for transactions. This research is a perceptual research that places perceived enjoyment as a mediator in explaining the effect of perceived ease of use on the behavioural intention of DANA e-wallet users. This perceptual study involved 55 students as respondents, the data was analysed using structural equation modelling with the help of Smart PLS-4. The findings of this study provide evidence that high perceived ease of use has a real impact in increasing perceived enjoyment and behavioural intention. The other causality, namely low perceived enjoyment, cannot make a meaningful contribution to behavioural intention. The role of perceived enjoyment as a mediator is not proven in explaining the effect of perceived ease of use on behavioural intention.

Abstract

The study, conducted over four years from 2018 to 2021, examines the impact of exchange rates and leverage on the profitability of company’s in the automotive and spare parts industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Exchange rate is measured in US dollars (USD), leverage is measured by debt to equity ratio, and profitability is measured by return on investment. The sample consisted of 12 automotive and spare parts industry companies with a total of 48 data items processed by E-views 12. The results show that the USD exchange rate has a small positive effect on return on assets with a t-count of 0,767577 < t-table 2,01290 and a significance value of 0,4467 > 0,05. Although the debt to equity ratio shows that the results have an insignificant negative effect on investment taking, the calculation results in a t-count of -1.874010 < t-table 2,01290 and a significant value is known, namely 0,0674>0,05. The results of this study reveal that an increase (decrease) in the rupiah exchange rate towards the US dollar can increase the issuer’s profit margin. On the other hand, increasing leverage can reduce the company’s earnings

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of total asset turnover and receivables turnover on the return on equity of retail companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. The data collection is based on secondary data from companies' annual financial reports, which can be accessed through the website www.idx.co.id. The population in this study were retail trade sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020-2022, of which there were 25 companies, while the sample taken was 20 companies with sampling techniques using purposive sampling. The data processed were 60 samples that had been tested for classical assumptions in the form of testing the assumptions of normality, multicollinearity, heterocedacity and autocorrelation. The data analysis method uses panel data regression techniques. The results showed that total asset turnover had a positive and significant effect on ROA and receivable turnover had a positive and insignificant effect on ROA.

Abstract

Work-life balance is stated as a crucial factor in influencing employee well-being and retention. While an imbalance between work demands and personal life can trigger stress, fatigue, and ultimately, turnover intention, the causality does not always have a direct effect. The role of work engagement as a mediator is very important. This research was conducted on 150 millennial generation employees in Makassar City, the questionnaire was distributed via google form. There were 21 questionnaires that were declared defective, leaving 129 questionnaires. Determination of the data analysis unit was carried out using a purposive technique where sampling was drawn using certain considerations, including the age range of 29-44 years and being married and working. Data analysis used SmartPLS (partial least square) 4.0 software. The results of the study prove that the better the work-life balance, the higher the level of employee involvement and enthusiasm for their work, that work-life balance provides significant positive results on work engagement. Improvements in work-life balance trigger employees' desire to quit their jobs, that work-life balance has a significant positive effect on turnover intention. The higher the employee engagement towards their work becomes a response to the high intention of employees to resign. The better the work-life balance, the higher the turnover intention through high employee work engagement.

Abstract

Tanah Toa Village is one of the gods that belongs to the Kajang sub-district, Bulukumba district. So far, Tanah Toa has been recognized as a national cultural heritage, especially in the Kajang Dalam area. The non-coastal location makes agricultural activities the dominant activity among the community. Only a few residents run the business of smoking fish. Pera smoked fish business actors obtain raw materials for skipjack tuna in the Bonto Maritime area which is a coastal area. While the production of smoked fish is sold to markets around the Kajang sub-district and the city of Bulukumba. The quality of smoking that is not maximized causes smoked fish to not last long. Smoked fish produced can only last a maximum of 3 days. This makes it difficult for smoked fish production to be traded outside the province or made into souvenirs for tourists who come from out of town. The durability of the smoked fish produced is not yet good because the smoking process only lasts about 2 hours, so the water content is still there. The use of fish smoking technology is also not owned by business actors, making it difficult for business actors to have difficulty in producing good quality smoked fish.

Abstract

This study aims to support policymakers in recognizing the elements that influence the performance of state civil servants and evaluating their job satisfaction levels. By shedding light on aspects that impact their morale and productivity, it seeks to pinpoint areas for improvement, including emotional intelligence and workplace conditions or management strategies. The purpose of this research is to investigate how job satisfaction mediates the impact of emotional intelligence and the work environment on employee performance at the Regional Development Planning Agency of Pegunungan Bintang Regency in Papua Pegunungan Province. Out of 35 employees, one did not finish the questionnaire, resulting in 34 data points that were analyzed using variance-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through Partial Least Squares (PLS). This study's findings demonstrate that while emotional intelligence and the work environment significantly enhance employee satisfaction, they do not contribute to improved employee performance. In contrast, perceived job satisfaction has been shown to positively influence employee performance. The role of job satisfaction as a mediator is confirmed to lead to higher levels of employee performance.

Abstract

The success of a financial institution, such as a bank, in carrying out its operational activities can be seen through its health level measured by the RGEC method (risk profile, good corporate governance, earning, and capital) and its impact on profitability proxied by return on assets (ROA).The assessment of a bank's health not only serves as an indicator of financial stability but also acts as a signal of trust for investors and stakeholders. This quantitative research aims to investigate the impact of RGEC on ROA at Bank Sulselbar for the 2014-2023 period, using total sampling technique, with 40 financial statements analyzed using multiple linear regression through Eviews-13 software. The investigation results show that RGEC, measured by a low risk profile and earnings in its implementation, can indeed increase the bank's profitability, while good corporate governance, which has been well implemented, proves to have a significant influence in explaining profitability. In the final test, high capital was found not to increase the bank's profitability

Abstract

This community service aims to foster and develop an entrepreneurial spirit among teenagers in Sanrobone Village, Takalar, through the optimization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) based on local potential. Teenagers are identified as strategic assets that need to be empowered for economic independence and job creation. The method of implementing this activity adopts a participatory and educational-practical approach, including the preparation stage, implementation of training and mentoring, and monitoring and evaluation. A total of 35 teenagers from Sanrobone Village were actively involved in a series of basic entrepreneurship training, identification of local business opportunities, technical production skills workshops, and simple digital marketing. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teenagers' understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship from just selling to creating value. They succeeded in identifying 15 potential business ideas from local resources and 20 teenagers were able to produce product prototypes from these ideas. In addition, the initiative to form five micro-business groups initiated by teenagers is clear evidence of the growth of motivation and collaboration. In conclusion, this program is effective in laying a strong foundation for the development of a youth entrepreneurship ecosystem in Sanrobone Village, which is supported by the potential of natural resources and the enthusiasm of the participants. It is recommended that there be ongoing mentoring, facilitation of access to micro-capital, strengthening of networks, and integration of entrepreneurship curriculum in schools to ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of the program.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji relevansi perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi (PKO/OCB) dan disiplin kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT Astra International Daihatsu Urip Sumaharjo Cabang Makassar. Riset ini berbasis kuantitatif dan menggunakan data primier. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh karaywan teknisi sebanyak 53 orang, penarikan sampel menggunakan total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 53 orang. Peneliaitan ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan bantuan software SmartPLS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku kewarganegaraan organisasi (PKO/OCB) berpengaruh positif tidak signifikan, sedangkan disiplin kerja terbukti berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study analyzes how technological innovation supports and improves student learning outcomes and sustainability at Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Antasari. This study obtained data from interviews with senior lecturers and researchers and 12 resource persons, and 12 open questions. We conducted a series of questions for interviews and a literature study to understand how this change occurred. Next, the researchers analyzed the interview results with a phenomenological approach; to ascertain how technological innovation supports 21st-century learning in higher education. Based on the existing data and discussion, concluded that technological innovations such as the internet and digital applications currently in academic activities in the distance learning process and student face-to-face classes strongly support that goal. This considers the penetration of the internet and computer technology used in learning and teaching. With the experience of lecturers and students at UIN Antasari. Technological innovation supports learning there with the clear advantages of existing technology.
