Abstract

The research aims to explore how batik painting works and how to apply the method in batik painting. This research uses an artistic research type, with stages, namely exploration, design, and visualization. Batik painting works are almost the same as painted batik, but there are fundamental differences between the two, even though they both use batik materials: painted batik works emphasize canting in the process, while batik painting predominantly uses brushes, and only canting is used for use. Two works were presented: The first is entitled “Menua Asa 1”, measuring 170 x 130 cm, which uses batik painting techniques. Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemasaran digital UMKM di Kelurahan 1 Ulu Kota Palembang melalui pemanfaatan media Instagram dan WhatsApp Business. Pelatihan dilakukan secara partisipatif dengan melibatkan 25 pelaku UMKM dari berbagai sektor, seperti kuliner, fashion, dan kerajinan tangan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyampaian materi, praktik langsung, serta sesi pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta dapat secara mandiri membuat profil Instagram, mengoptimalkan unggahan konten, serta menggunakan fitur-fitur WhatsApp Business untuk interaksi pelanggan. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam promosi digital, dan diharapkan dapat memperluas jangkauan pasar serta daya saing usaha mereka. Tindak lanjut dilakukan melalui monitoring penggunaan platform secara konsisten untuk pertumbuhan usaha.

Abstract

Employees are an important part of the sustainability of the hotel business. However, in Serang City, which is one of the provinces with quite diverse tourist destinations, it is not supported by quality human resources so that businesses in this field are less developed. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of climate organization on OCB; determine the effect of servant leadership on OCB; determine the effect of trust on OCB; determine the effect of climate organization on trust; determine the effect of servant leadership on trust; determine the effect of servant leadership on trust; determine the effect of climate organization and on OCB through trust; and determine the effect of servant leadership and on OCB through trust. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data used are primary and secondary data, primary data obtained from the results of questionnaires and interviews while secondary data obtained from scientific notes, journals and reports. Data analysis using SEM-PLS. SEM-PLS results show that climate organization, servant leadership and trust have an effect on OCB. Other results are also explained in this study and the limitations of the research will be explained thoroughly.

Abstract

Culinary small and medium enterprises (SMEs) play a vital role in Indonesia’s economy, contributing to GDP, employment, and community income. This dissertation research is significant as it identifies sustainability challenges resulting from low komitmen terhadap organisasi, influenced by variables such as perceived organizational support and creativity, with work motivation acting as a mediating factor. Moreover, there has been a lack of specific studies addressing this issue. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of the three variables on komitmen terhadap organisasi and to formulate strategic approaches to enhance the sustainability of culinary SMEs in Bogor City.Seven hypotheses are proposed, examining the influence of perceived organizational support and creativity on work motivation and komitmen terhadap organisasi, as well as the mediating role of work motivation in these relationships. The novelty of this research lies in its strategic framework for enhancing komitmen terhadap organisasi to ensure business sustainability and its integration of the three exogenous variables into a validated analytical model. A mixed-method approach was employed, involving 230 employee respondents from Bogor City, collected between December 2023 and July 2024. The findings reveal that perceived organizational support affects komitmen terhadap organisasi through the mediation of work motivation. Additionally, both creativity and work motivation have a direct influence on komitmen terhadap organisasi. Furthermore, five strategic recommendations were developed to support the sustainability of culinary SMEs. It is expected that the results of this dissertation can serve as a foundation and guide for academics, entrepreneurs, and policymakers in formulating more effective policies to improve the sustainability and competitiveness of culinary SMEs at both the national (Bogor and Indonesia) and international levels.

Abstract

Public service institutions, particularly immigration checkpoints, are facing increasing demands for efficiency and professionalism, making employee performance a critical concern. In this context, leadership style and job design are considered key drivers in enhancing workforce effectiveness. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of transformational leadership and the optimization of job characteristics in improving employee performance at the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) under the Directorate General of Immigration. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to TPI employees and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The findings reveal that transformational leadership significantly contributes to employee performance by offering inspiration, motivation, and individualized support. Additionally, job characteristics such as skill variety, autonomy, and feedback also have a strong positive effect on enhancing employee engagement and responsibility. Furthermore, both variables collectively exert a significant influence on performance improvement. The study concludes that the synergy between inspirational leadership and well-designed job structures is essential for achieving optimal employee outcomes. These insights offer practical implications for strategic human resource management within public sector organizations.

Abstract

Walking football adalah modifikasi sepak bola konvensional yang diperuntukkan bagi kelompok usia dewasa maupun lansia, dengan aturan utama yaitu larangan berlari (hanya berjalan). Olahraga ini menjadi solusi aktivitas fisik ramah cedera dan bersifat inklusif, melibatkan peserta dari berbagai latar belakang usia, gender, maupun kondisi kesehatan. Walking football hadir sebagai inovasi yang ramah usia dengan aturan khusus yang lebih inklusif. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan dan melatih keterampilan dasar walking football (sepak bola berjalan), serta mengenalkan Persejasi (Perkumpulan Sepakbola Berjalan Seluruh Indonesia) sebagai organisasi pengembang olahraga ramah usia. Kegiatan dilakukan bersama pengurus dan anggota Persejasi dari seluruh wilayah Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan, dengan pendekatan edukasi, praktik, dan pendampingan komunitas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan minat peserta dalam menerapkan walking football sebagai alternatif olahraga sehat dan inklusif. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa walking football dapat menjadi solusi olahraga alternatif yang ramah usia, murah, dan memperkuat interaksi sosial.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the implementation of Maisura method teaching guidance for ninth-grade students at MTs Al-Barkah. The research method used is qualitative with a PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach. Data was obtained through interviews, documentation, and direct field research. This study found that ninth-grade students at MTs Al-Barkah experienced an improvement in the quality of their Quran reading after following the Maisura method teaching guidance. The Maisura method teaching by the Community Service Team (PkM) of STKQ Al-Hikam was conducted in a flexible and creative way, where the material was delivered in a relaxed and enjoyable manner to create a non-rigid learning atmosphere. The results of this study indicate that the Maisura method, which has been considered more suitable for advanced learners, can be used for beginners with some adjustments. The strategy implemented is simplifying the material and using creative analogies so that students can understand the concept of tajwid without feeling burdened by overly complex theory.

Abstract

This study aims to find strategies to improve the performance of First Expert Immigration Analysts at the Directorate General of Immigration at Soekarno-Hatta Airport through job characteristics, transformational leadership, and work attitudes, both directly and through the mediation of work motivation. The main focus is to identify the most effective way to develop employee motivation and performance through a multidimensional approach that includes individual factors, leadership, and the work environment. This study uses a mixed methods method, namely a combination of quantitative and qualitative approaches in data collection and analysis. The research location is at the Class I Immigration Office of Soekarno-Hatta Airport, which is administratively located in Banten Province. The focus of the research is on the role of Immigration Officers and First Expert Immigration Analysts. The study population was 406 people, with a sample of 202 people. This study concludes that job characteristics, transformational leadership, work attitudes, and work motivation have a direct and significant effect on employee performance. In addition, job characteristics, transformational leadership, and work attitudes also influence work motivation. Work motivation is proven to indirectly mediate the influence of these three variables on improving employee performance at the Directorate General of Immigration at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى استكشاف التدابير الوقائية ضد جريمة قتل النساء (الفيميسيد) من أجل تحقيق استقرار أمن الأسرة في ضوء الأحاديث النبوية. ويُعَدّ الفيميسيد أخطر أشكال العنف القائم على النوع الاجتماعي، حيث يتمثل في قتل المرأة لمجرد هويتها الجندرية. وباستخدام منهج نوعي قائم على الدراسة المكتبية، يستند البحث إلى المصادر الأولية والثانوية، ويُحلَّل بشكل وصفي في إطار تحليل الخطاب النقدي مع استخلاص النتائج بطريقة استدلالية. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن الإسلام، من خلال الأحاديث النبوية، يقدم توجيهات أخلاقية وعملية للوقاية من مثل هذه الجرائم. ويتضمن ذلك تعزيز التربية الدينية، وحثّ النبي ﷺ على معاملة النساء بالمعروف، وإظهار الرفق بهن، وتحريم إيذائهن جسديًا، وتنمية وعي الفرد بخطورة الظلم—وخاصة تجاه النساء—نظرًا لعواقبه الوخيمة على الظالم في الدنيا والآخرة.

Abstract

Proteksi yang disediakan Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) dan Grounding, Pada dasarnya alat ini adalah adalah sebuah saklar listrik otomatis dioperasikan dan dirancang untuk mendeteksi adanya arus listrik yang terjadi karena tegangan bocor pada instalasi dan peralatan listrik. Kelurahan Limbungan Baru di bentuk atas pemekaran wilayah dari Kelurahan Limbungan Baru Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir dan merupakan kelurahan ke 6 (enam) dari kelurahan yang ada di Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru. Permasalahan yang terjadi pada instalasi listrik adalah Power Failure atau outages sumber listrik utama mati kalau di Indonesia boleh dikatakan mati lampu/ PLN mati, Tegangan listrik turun dalam waktu sesaat sampai dengan dibawah 80-85 % dari tegangan normal 220 VAC. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian diperoleh sesudah penyuluhan dan Pelatihan mitra dalam mengetahui dan memahami tentang Sistem Pengaman ELCB sebesar 100 %, Pentanahan atau grounding sebesar 100 %, bahan dan peralatan listrik sesuai Standarisasi Kelistrikan (SNI) sebesar 100 %, pemasangan sistem pengaman instalasi listrik bangunan sebesar 100 pemakaian bahan dan peralatan sesuai dengan PUIL 2011 100 %
