Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus adalah penyakit kronis serius yang terjadi karena pankreas tidak menghasilkan cukup insulin (hormon yang mengatur gula darah atau glukosa), atau ketika tubuh tidak dapat secara efektif menggunakan insulin yang dihasilkannya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan upaya pencegahan diabetes mellitus pada pralansia di Dukuh Kopek Klaten. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif. Sampel sebanyak 65 pralansia. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah total sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuisioner. Analisa data menggunakan analisis univariat yang digambarkan dengan hasil prosentase. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan mayoritas responden laki-laki sebanyak 39 responden (60,0%), berpendidikan terakhir SMA sebanyak 26 responden (40,0%), pekerjaan mayoritas buruh sebanyak 32 responden (49,2%) dan ada riwayat DM keluarga sebanyak 39 responden (60,0%), tingkat pengetahuan cukup sebanyak 32 responden (49,2%). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini adalah tingkat pengetahuan upaya pencegahan DM pada pralansia di Dukuh Kopek Klaten didapatkan paling banyak berpengetahuan cukup.

Abstract

This study investigates patient perceptions of the marketing mix and its impact on loyalty at Muhammadiyah Probolinggo Mother and Child Hospital. Through quantitative analysis of questionnaire responses, the study explores the relationship between patient perceptions and loyalty, employing observational survey methods. Findings reveal that patient perceptions, particularly of service quality, place, and tariff, significantly influence loyalty. While there's a positive perception of the marketing mix overall, areas like promotion need improvement. The study underscores the importance of understanding patient perceptions to enhance loyalty and suggests strategies for hospital management to improve patient experience and foster loyalty, contributing to healthcare service quality enhancement. Abstract

Da'i is required to grasp the purpose of da'wah, this is applied to the assembly of women in the category of mothers, with their da'wah efforts to complete the blindness of the Qur'an in children who are in the Fatur Rahman Mosque environment. So, this article wants to know how the prophetic communication approach in da'wah used by female congregants. The method in this study involves qualitative research of the phenomenological type. The findings in this article reveal that women can construct an effective da'wah movement and be able to overcome the blindness of the Qur'an in children at the Fathur Rahman Mosque by adopting three da'wah strategies that are built, namely: First, motivating da'wah technique. Second, the reward da'wah approach. Third da'wah method of singing and sima'i.

Abstract

Abstract Introduction: The Karang Sidemen tourist village has an ecotourism package called Begerusuk Adventure, but in this tour package there are still not enough ecotourism activities on offer, therefore, an ecotourism package is being developed that will later add ecotourism activities. This research aims to find out the actual conditions of the Karang Sidemen tourist village, which is devoted to aspect 5A (Accessibility, Accommodation, Amenities, Attraction, and Activity), to find out the actual conditions of ecotourism packages, and to find out recommendations for ecotourism packages in the Karang Sidemen Tourism Village. Methodology: The research method used in this study is qualitative. This research covers attractions, accessibility, accommodation, amenities, activities, and conditions of ecotourism packages by involving 5 informants, namely, the Deputy Chair of the Karang Sidemen Tourism Village Pokdarwis, the owner of Datu Craft MSMEs, the owner of Andewi Homestay, and tourists. Findings: There is already a previous tour package, namely the Begerusuk Adventure package, which still lacks ecotourism activities on offer, therefore there is a recommendation for an ecotourism package that will later add ecotourism activities such as making eco prints, visiting MSMEs, and planting tree seedlings. Conclusion: Based on the identification of ecotourism potential and the actual condition of the existing ecotourism packages in Karang Sidemen Tourism Village, it is concluded that they are good but need further development. The development proposed by the researcher includes adding activities such as creating eco prints, visiting local MSMEs, and planting tree seedlings. Abstract

Indonesia is currently unable to provide 100% electricity supply for its people due to uneven access to infrastructure development. This causes the need to build alternative energy to meet these needs. Water flow has potential energy that has been widely used in various countries to be converted into electrical energy. One way of converting is with a Pelton turbine. A Pelton turbine can work well, influenced by several parameters, namely the height of the waterfall, the angle of the blades, the flow rate, the number of nozzles, the number of blades, the weight of the turbine, etc. In this study the parameters set were the flow rate according to the pump flow rate, namely 18 liters/minute, the number of turbine blades used were 24, 26 and 28 pieces. The diameter of the turbine runner is 300 mm, and the load used in measuring the current is 50 watts. The results showed that the higher the rotational speed, the higher the turbine power, along with the increasing number of blades tested. The highest turbine power is at 28 blades and the turbine rotation is 385.42 Rpm which is 5.69 watts. While the lowest is at 24 blades and turbine rotation of 367.95 Rpm which is equal to 4.83 watts. The power difference between blades 24 and 28 is 15%. The PLA material used as the turbine blade material and acrylic as the runner material results in the moment of inertia of the turbine when rotating at blade 24 which is 0.023 kg.m² and blade 28 which is 0.025 kg.m². The mass of the turbine becomes lighter resulting in the power difference between blades 24 and 28 not being too far.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan perlu bekerjasama dengan Dunia Usaha/Dunia Industri (DUDI) dan perguruan tinggi agar mampu menghasilkan lulusan yang memiliki mutu tinggi. Salah satu bentuk kerjasama tersebut adalah mendatangkan guru tamu ke sekolah. Politeknik YKPN melaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu bertindak sebagai guru tamu yang melaksanakan workshop siswa SMK Negeri 2 Gedangsari Yogyakarta yang diikuti oleh 61 siswa kelas XII jurusan akuntansi pada tanggal 17-21 Juli 2023. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan mengenalkan praktik akuntansi komputer kepada para siswa, khususnya aplikasi Accurate versi 5. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah kegiatan workshop, meliputi pendalaman materi dan serta praktik pencatatan akuntansi. Hasil kegiatan workshop menunjukkan bahwa para siswa mempersepsikan aplikasi Accurate mudah digunakan dan mempunyai manfaat bagi mereka. ABSTRACT Vocational High Schools need to collaborate with the Business/Industrial World (DUDI) and universities in order to produce graduates with high quality. One form of such cooperation is by bringing guest teachers to the school. YKPN Polytechnic carried out community service activities by acting as guest teachers conducting workshops for students of SMK Negeri 2 Gedangsari Yogyakarta, which was attended by 61 class XII grade accounting students on July 17-21, 2023. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and introduce computerized accounting practices to the students, specifically using Accurate version 5 application. The method used in this community service is workshop activities, which include in-depth material exploration and accounting recording practices. The results of the workshop activities show that the students perceive Accurate application as easy to use and beneficial for them.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the convenience, trust, and security in the decisions to use electronic wallets (Shopee Pay), understanding technology as an intervening variable. The study adopts a quantitative approach, collecting data through questionnaires. The research sample comprises 100 Shopee Pay users in Sidoarjo Regency, selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis involves hypothesis testing and processing using SPSS v.25. Findings indicate that convenience, trust, and security, mediated by an understanding of technology, significantly influence the decision to use E-Wallet (Shopee Pay). The study concludes that convenience, trust, and security, through an understanding of technology, significantly impact the decision to use E-Wallet (Shopee Pay). This research is urgently needed due to the rapid growth of electronic wallet usage in the current digital era. Understanding the factors influencing the decision to use E-Wallets (Shopee Pay) provides valuable insights for companies and payment service providers to enhance user experience and strengthen operational sustainability in an increasingly competitive market. Additionally, understanding technology as an intervening variable provides additional insights into consumer behavior related to financial technology usage. Therefore, this research contributes academically and has significant practical relevance for the industry and stakeholders.

Abstract

In current criminal justice practice, there have been developments regarding the use of children's testimonies, with some judges in Indonesia admitting children's statements as evidence in cases involving minors, even though we know that children are not sworn in before giving testimony. Therefore, the aim of this study is to analyze the legal strength of children's testimonies as evidence in the criminal justice system, focusing on the case with the District Court Decision Number 135/Pid.Sus/2023/PN. Dpk. This research employs a normative legal research method with a legislative approach, conducted to explore legal issues. The primary data source supporting this research includes the           District Court Decision from Depok Number: 282/Pid.Sus/2023/DPK, while secondary data consists of Law Number 35 Year 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 Year 2002 concerning Child Protection, Law Number 11 Year 2012 concerning Juvenile Justice System, and Law Number 8 Year 1981 concerning Criminal Procedure Code. The findings of this research indicate that the evidentiary strength of children's testimonies as witnesses in the Indonesian criminal justice system depends on the validity of the testimony presented in court. However, the truthfulness and probative value of such testimonies are subject to the judge's subjective assessment, and because the evaluation of witness evidence is generally non-binding, this also applies to child witnesses.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi di era globalisasi saat ini telah merubah gaya hidup masyarakat yakni kecenderungan terhadap segala sesuatu yang simpel dan praktis. Salah satu hal yang paling menonjol adalah pembelian dan penggunaan jasa pengiriman barang yang memiliki keterjangkauan regional. J&T Express adalah salah satu jasa pengiriman barang yang diminati oleh masyarakat Indonesia. J&T Express merupakan perusahaan ekspedisi yang fokus memberikan kepuasan dan motivasi kerja kepada karyawan untuk meningkatkan semangat kerja sehingga karyawan mampu menghasilkan kinerja yang baik. Dengan adanya kinerja karyawan yang baik maka target dan tujuan perusahaan dapat tercapai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja karyawan J&T terhadap kinerja karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah exsplanatory research dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 responden yang diambil secara acak dari beberapa kantor J&T yang tersebar di wilayah Bekasi Jawa Barat. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Metode analisis yang digunakan yakni uji instrumen terdiri dari uji validitas dan reliabilitas, uji normalitas data, uji asumsi klasik menggunakan uji mulktikolenieritas dan uji heteroskedastisitas, uji analisis regresi linier berganda, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan J&T baik secara simultan maupun secara parsial. Kata kunci: kepuasan kerja, motivasi kerja, kinerja             Advances in technology in the current era of globalization have changed people's lifestyles, namely the tendency towards everything that is simple and practical. One of the things that stands out the most is purchasing and using freight forwarders that have regional affordability. J&T Express is one of the goods delivery services that are in demand by the people of Indonesia. J&T Express is a shipping company that focuses on providing satisfaction and work motivation to employees to increase morale so that employees are able to produce good performance. With good employee performance, the company's targets and goals can be achieved. This study aims to analyze job satisfaction and work motivation of J&T employees on employee performance. The research method used is explanatory research with a total sample of 60 respondents taken randomly from several J&T offices spread across the Bekasi area, West Java. Source of data in this study using primary data and data collection techniques using questionnaires. The analytical method used is an instrument test consisting of validity and reliability tests, data normality tests, classic assumption tests using multicollinearity tests and heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression analysis tests, and hypothesis testing. The results of the analysis show that job satisfaction and work motivation have a significant positive effect on the performance of J&T employees both simultaneously and partially. Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan ChatGPT di era Pendidikan dengan membandingkan persepsi antara perempuan dan laki-laki berdasarkan gender. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Instrumen yang di gunakan berupa angket sebanyak 10 soal/pernyataan dengan skala likert 5 options. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriftif dan uji-t independent menggunakan SPSS. Hasil analisis data menunjukan persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan ChatGPT dengan nilai rata rata sebesar 75,69%. Selanjutnya pada uji-t yang telah dilakukan menggunakan SPSS di peroleh nilai uji-t yaitu sebesar -1,991 dengan nilai sig 0,052. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan (nyata) antara rata-rata hasil persepsi mahasiswa pada kelompok A (perempuan) dengan kelompok B (lakii laki). Abstract: The objective of this research is to explore students' perceptions regarding the use of ChatGPT in the educational landscape by comparing the perceptions between females and males based on gender. Data analysis involves descriptive statistics and independent t-test using SPSS. The data analysis results reveal that students' perceptions towards the use of ChatGPT have an average score of 75.69%. Furthermore, the conducted t-test using SPSS yielded a t-value of -1.991 with a significance value of 0.052. This indicates that there is no significant difference between the average perceptions of female (Group A) and male (Group B) students.
