Abstract

Jerowaru Beach, located on the southern coast of Lombok Island, is facing a significant threat due to coastal abrasion, which damages both road infrastructure and the environment. Abrasion, the process of land erosion caused by ocean waves, leads to the erosion of coastlines, damage to coastal protective structures, and alterations in coastal ecosystems. At Jerowaru Beach, the effects of abrasion include road damage and the loss of vital natural habitats such as mangrove forests, which are essential for coastal protection and supporting local species. Raising community awareness about the role they can play in mitigating abrasion's impact is a crucial first step toward reducing damage and enhancing environmental conservation efforts. On July 29, 2024, a socialization event was held at Bale Mangrove Jerowaru Beach, involving PMD KKN students and local residents. This event included training on mitigation techniques such as mangrove planting and the construction of coastal protection structures, as well as awareness campaigns through local media and community events. The socialization efforts resulted in increased public understanding of the impact of abrasion and the importance of mitigation measures. Active community participation in rehabilitation activities and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including the government and NGOs, has also enhanced the effectiveness of these efforts. This socialization serves as a foundation for developing further mitigation strategies that involve ongoing community involvement and continuous monitoring. In conclusion, community engagement in mitigating abrasion at Jerowaru Beach is crucial for protecting road infrastructure and maintaining environmental sustainability. Recommendations include developing abrasion-resistant infrastructure, securing funding, and conducting regular monitoring to ensure the success of mitigation strategies

Abstract

Kegiatan ini adalah sosialisai jaringan irigasi Jaringan Irigasi Air Tanah (JIAT) ditingkat Lapang pada mahasiswa Tenik Sipil dan Fakutas Pertanian Universitas Mataram, guna mengenalkan sistem irigasi yang diterapkan dilokasi lahan kering yang ada di NTB terutama di lokasi Desa Gumantar Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Mahasiswa perlu mendapatkan pengetahuan irigasi lapangan pada lahan kering yang sedikit berbeda dengan irigasi di lahan basah. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka mahasiswa perlu dibibmbing dan dipandu oleh tim dosen dari Fakutas Teknik dan Fakultas Pertanaian Unram agar manfaat kegiatan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa. Tahapan kegiatan ini mencakup koordinasi lapangan, koordinasi dengan tim dosen dan mahasiswa, koordinasi lapangan pada petani pemilik lahan dan pengelola JIAT, tinjauan lapangan kelompok mahasiswa, sosialisasi pengaliran irigasi JIAT, diskusi dan tanya jawab serta penutup. Hasil sosialisasi menunjukkan bahwa telah berhasil melakukan soosialisasi 20 orang mahasiswa teknik Sipil dan Pertanian dalam satu kegiatan di lahan kering Desa Gumantar. Mahasiswa telah memperoleh pengetahuan irigasi JIAT yang ada di lahan kering dan telah mengetahui kelemahan JIAT dan manfaatnya secara umum. Setelah sosalisasi dalam kegiatan ini mahasiswa diharapkan mampu mengembangkan sistem irigasi JIAT yang ada untuk meningkatkan manfaat dan efisiensi penggunaan air tanah dalam jangka panjang.

Abstract

Students' low critical thinking skills are the main problem in this research. Apart from that, in learning it was found that the textbooks used were less varied and did not direct students to develop their thinking abilities. The learning model that can maximize thinking abilities is Brain Based Learning (BBL) and the learning approach that has clear stages and can be included in textbooks is the scientific approach. The aim of this research is to develop a textbook using the BBL model assisted by a scientific approach in teaching students' critical thinking skills. The development model used is the ADDIE Model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Research instruments include validation sheets, questionnaires and tests. Research data includes product validation data obtained from expert validation, product response data obtained from student response questionnaire results, and students' critical thinking abilities obtained from tests. The data obtained was analyzed using quantitative and qualitative descriptive techniques. The data analysis carried out showed the results of achieving a Validity Mean Percentage Score (PRS) of 84.74 (valid criteria), the practicality of achieving PRS of 80.59 (practical criteria), and achieving PRS effectiveness of 89.31 (effective criteria). The data analysis carried out shows that the product developed meets the criteria of being valid, practical and effective and is suitable for use as a textbook. Based on these achievements, the development of textbook products with a brain-based learning model is feasible and good for use in teaching students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pencegahan tindak kekerasan dalam kerangka perlindungan hak asasi manusia. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dengan ciri desain deskriptif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini meliputi Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum, pendidik, dan siswa. Metodologi pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan pemeriksaan dokumentasi. Bersamaan dengan itu, analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, perumusan kesimpulan, dan verifikasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa determinan perundungan meliputi karakteristik individu, pengaruh keluarga, hubungan dengan teman sebaya, lingkungan pendidikan, dampak media, dan pengalaman masa kecil yang buruk. Strategi pencegahan perundungan, yang dianggap sebagai sarana perlindungan hak asasi manusia di SMPN 3 Sungai Ambawang, meliputi penerapan kebijakan anti perundungan di lembaga pendidikan, pembentukan program anti perundungan, penyediaan konseling perilaku, penyelenggaraan kompetisi atau kegiatan kreatif yang berpusat pada tema anti perundungan, dan pembinaan kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan masyarakat luas untuk meningkatkan upaya yang bertujuan mencegah perundungan. Diharapkan bahwa penerapan berbagai strategi ini akan memudahkan terciptanya lingkungan pendidikan yang aman dan kondusif bagi perkembangan siswa.

Abstract

Desa Pemepek di Kecamatan Pringgarata, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, memiliki potensi wisata yang kaya akan keindahan alam dan budaya lokal. Namun, kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam promosi wisata menjadi kendala dalam menarik minat wisatawan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pendampingan pengelolaan website promosi wisata dilakukan untuk meningkatkan visibilitas destinasi wisata desa secara digital. Pendampingan ini mencakup pelatihan pengelolaan konten, optimasi SEO, serta pemanfaatan media sosial yang terintegrasi dengan website. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan ini meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, dan evaluasi berkala guna memastikan website dikelola secara berkelanjutan oleh masyarakat desa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengelola dalam mengelola website, serta meningkatnya jumlah kunjungan ke platform digital promosi wisata desa. Dengan adanya pendampingan ini, diharapkan Desa Pemepek dapat lebih dikenal oleh wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara, sehingga berdampak positif terhadap perekonomian lokal. Abstract

One of the main problems in the world of education is the weak learning process. Learning in the classroom tends to only teach memorization of information without connecting it to applications in everyday life. The purpose of this research is to find out problems related to material that are considered difficult and how to solve these learning in physics learning at MTS. The methodology of this study uses a mixed method ̧ where quantitative data is then strengthened with qualitative data. In this study, 2 science teachers, 30 students of grade VII MTS. This study uses interview, observation, and questionnaire instruments. Data is collected by directly going down to the field and analyzed using descriptive analysis for quantitative and qualitative analysis of interview results so that the data obtained becomes comprehensive. The results showed that students had difficulty distinguishing principal and derivative quantities (60%), understanding unit conversions (70%), writing unit symbols correctly (50%), and using measuring tools (57%). After applying Canva-based experimental video media, there was an increase in students' understanding of physics concepts, with an increase in understanding of principal and derivative quantities from 40% to 80%, unit conversion from 30% to 75%, and skills using measuring tools from 43% to 78%. The conclusion of this study is that the use of Canva-based interactive media can be an effective solution in improving students' understanding of the concept of quantities and units, especially for schools that have limited laboratory facilities.

Abstract

Climate change has had a real impact on the agricultural sector, especially in rural areas where the majority of the population depends on agriculture. This community service activity was carried out in Batu Rimpang Village as an academic contribution to enhance community resilience in facing the impacts of climate change through education and the application of water-saving irrigation technology. This program focused on socializing the climate change impacts, followed by hands-on training in installing sprinkler irrigation systems as a simple but effective solution so that farmers can continue to cultivate their land in the limited water availability. The socialization session was carried out interactively and continued with installing sprinkler practice so that participants could understand the technical aspects and benefits of the irrigation system that had been implemented. The training went orderly, attended by around 20 farmers who showed high enthusiasm in each session. This activity has not only increased community’s understanding of climate change adaptation, but also encouraged local initiatives to adopt more efficient and environmentally friendly technologies. It is hoped that this initiative will contribute to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)-13 on climate action by increasing the adaptive capacity of communities, thereby reducing the potential impacts of climate change in Batu Rimpang village.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Media Kartu Angka Bergambar Terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Kognitif Anak pada PAUD Tunas Bangsa Pulau Intan Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pre-tes post tes control design group. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan total sampling yakni dengan melibatkan seluruh peserta didik PAUD Tunas Bangsa Pulau Intan yang berjumlah 32 orang. Sampel dibagi 2 kelompok yaitu 16 orang kelas kontrol dan 16 orang dikelas eksperimen.   Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan SPSS versi 22 untuk uji Normalitas, Homogenitas dan uji Hipotesis. Kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada kelas kontrol saat pre tes diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 5,13 dan pada saat post tes diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 8,00. Kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen saat pre tes diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,56 dan pada saat post tes diperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 9,75. Terdapat pengaruh media kartu angka bergambar terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kognitif peseta didik PAUD Tunas Bangsa Pulau Intan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari pengujian hipotsis yang digunakan adalah uji t, yaitu uji satu pihakdengan taraf signifikan 5%. Uji t satu pihak dimana harga thitung 3,530 dan diketahui ttabel 2,042. Maka kriteria pengujian adalah jika thitung > ttabel maka Ha diterima artinya terdapat pengaruh media kartu angka bergambar terhadap peningkatan kemampuan kognitif anak.   Kata kunci: media kartu angka bergambar, kognitif peserta didik

Abstract

This study is a quantitative research with ex-post facto research method. The study aims to examine the influence of the implementation of online learning, learning motivation, and creativity on the learning outcomes. The total population was 58 people and the samples obtained were 58 people taken by using non-probability sampling or saturated sampling technique. Data collection employed documentation and questionnaire. The prerequisite test employed the normality test, linearity test, and multicollinearity test. The hypothesis testing employed simple linear regression and multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that (1) the online learning is in high category, (2) the students' learning motivation is in moderate category, (3) the creativity is in moderate category, (4) the learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject are in good criteria, (5) there is an influence of online learning on learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject of TKJ at SMKN 8 Jeneponto. The test result shows that the value of sig. of 0.020 < 0.05 with a contribution of 9.3%, (6) there is an influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject of TKJ at SMKN 8 Jeneponto. The test result shows that the value of sig. of 0.049 < 0.05 with a contribution of 6.8%, (7) there is an influence of creativity on learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject of TKJ at SMKN 8 Jeneponto. The test result shows that the value of sig. of 0.032 < 0.05 with a contribution of 8.0%, and (8) there is an influence between online learning, learning motivation, and creativity on learning outcomes in Network System Administration subject of TKJ at SMKN 8 Jeneponto. The test result shows the value of sig. of 0.019 < 0.05 with a contribution of 16.6%. Therefore, the research hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Digital-based teaching materials such as e-modules are a necessity for learning resources that can improve learning processes and outcomes. However, the development of e-module is still limited in lectures, especially in the Geography Education Department, FIS Unimed. The aim of this research is to develop an e-module, measure its feasibility and describe its effect on learning independence, motivation and learning performances. This study used the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). A quasi-experimental research design was carried out to measure the effect of using e-modules. The population in this study were students in the fourth semester of the Geography Education Department, FIS Unimed, consisting of 4 classes. Random sampling by lottery was used to obtain class samples. Class A as the control class (20 students) and Class C as the experimental class (20 students). An online questionnaire was used to collect data on learning independence and motivation. Meanwhile, tests are used to collect learning performance data. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics were performed for data analysis. The statistical tests carried out were t-test and ANCOVA. The research findings showed that the e-module was very feasible for use in lectures based on validation from a team of experts through 2 stages. The implementation of e-modules in lectures can significantly enhance learning independence, motivation and learning performance. Therefore, modules as the main learning resource need to be developed on an electronic resources (e-modules) so that e-modules easily accessible to students.
