Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Net Profit Margin and Total Asset Turnover on Return On Asset (profit performance) on food & beverage sub-sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses secondary data in the form of financial report data for each company for the period 2019-2023. Sampling was carried out using a purposive sampling technique and 10 companies were obtained that met the predetermined criteria. The analysis technique used in this study is quantitative analysis which calculates data from financial reports then uses SPSS tools to test and analyze data with calculations to draw conclusions. Hypothesis testing is carried out to determine whether there is an influence between the two variables. The results of the study stated that Net Profit Margin has a partial effect on Return On Asset, Total Asset Turnover does not have a partial effect on Return On Asset and Net Profit Margin and Total Asset Turnover simultaneously affect Return On Asset.

Abstract

Human resources are a strategic asset that significantly determines a company's operational effectiveness and efficiency. This study is motivated by the importance of human resource management, particularly in the aspects of work discipline and work environment, as key factors influencing employee performance. The research was conducted at CV. Putra Pelopor Pionir (Bohopanna) Semarang, a fast-growing local brand in baby and children's fashion that has expanded into international markets. Internal issues such as high absenteeism, tardiness, and inconsistent adherence to work instructions highlight the need for a thorough evaluation of the existing work conditions. This study aims to determine the extent to which work discipline and the work environment affect employee performance at Bohopanna Semarang. Using a quantitative approach and data analysis of 100 employees, the findings reveal that work discipline has a significant influence on employee performance. High levels of discipline, indicated by punctuality and compliance with rules, contribute to a stronger work ethic. In addition, the work environment also significantly affects performance, where supportive physical and social conditions enhance employee motivation and productivity. The study concludes that both independent variables—work discipline and work environment—positively and significantly contribute to employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. These findings offer practical recommendations for company management to strengthen discipline policies and improve the work environment to support organizational goals.

Abstract

This research is a remarkable initiative that aims to empower villagers, especially kartars and local communities, to understand and harness the power of digital content for education, promotion, and social empowerment. The training consists of various factors in the world of digital content, including photography, writing, online marketing, and social media management. The method of implementing community service program activities begins with an approach to students of Sunan Giri University Surabaya, using methods known as Participatory Action Research (PAR), Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), and a mixed approach. Activities were carried out in the Hall of Panjunan Village Hall, Sukodono District. The methods applied involved implementation methods in community service programs as well as training and counseling methods. The active involvement of the participants, creating strong cooperation between students and the community, thus creating a sustainable positive impact in the utilization of digital content to improve the quality of life and community empowerment.

Abstract

Bahasa adalah sarana komunikasi yang disampaikan baik secara lisan maupun tulisan. Kemampuan berbahasa dapat dilihat dari keterampilan berbicara, seperti apakah bahasa yang digunakan baik atau kurang tepat. Tujuan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia adalah agar siswa dapat berbicara dengan bahasa yang baik dan benar, menggunakan bahasa yang sopan, serta tidak menyinggung pihak lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan bahasa ibu dalam keterampilan berbicara selama pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi( Jurnal Pendidikan dan Bahasa Indonesia, 2021) dan penggunaan alat rekam. Observasi dilakukan untuk mengamati keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam menggunakan bahasa ibu selama pembelajaran. Fungsi observasi dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengamati keterampilan berbicara siswa dalam menggunakan bahasa ibu selama pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, sementara alat rekam digunakan untuk merekam penggunaan bahasa ibu dalam proses pembelajaran. Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia, siswa cenderung lebih banyak menggunakan bahasa ibu (bahasa Sunda) karena mereka merasa lebih memahami dan menguasainya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 99% siswa di kelas X menggunakan bahasa ibu. Beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi penggunaan bahasa ibu dalam pembelajaran antara lain lingkungan sekolah, lingkungan tempat tinggal, dan terbatasnya kosa kata yang dimiliki siswa, yang menyebabkan mereka lebih sering menggunakan bahasa ibu daripada bahasa Indonesia. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk membantu siswa memperkaya kosa kata mereka dan memfasilitasi penggunaan bahasa Indonesia dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Studi kelayakan bisnis syariah merupakan langkah strategis yang tidak hanya menilai kelayakan usaha dari aspek ekonomi dan teknis, tetapi juga memastikan kesesuaian kegiatan usaha dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Makalah ini membahas secara komprehensif tentang peran studi kelayakan dalam mendukung keberlanjutan bisnis syariah melalui evaluasi aspek hukum, pasar, keuangan, operasional, manajemen, hingga sosial dan lingkungan. Studi kelayakan membantu pelaku usaha dalam menghindari risiko pelanggaran syariah, menyusun strategi pengembangan bisnis yang halal dan thayyib, serta mendukung terciptanya bisnis yang tidak hanya menguntungkan secara duniawi, tetapi juga membawa keberkahan dan kemaslahatan umat. Dengan penerapan studi kelayakan yang tepat, bisnis syariah berpotensi menjadi solusi ekonomi yang adil, berkelanjutan, dan sesuai dengan maqashid syariah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the experiences, strategies, and challenges faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Kalukubula Village, Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi. Using a qualitative approach, this research explores three distinct types of MSMEs: Zahra Collection Store (clothing retail), Q.Box (food stall), and a local tailoring business. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation of business activities. The findings reveal that MSME actors in this area encounter common challenges such as limited capital, restricted market access, and competition from outside products. However, they also implement various adaptive strategies, including leveraging social media for marketing, building customer loyalty through personalized service, and product development. This study contributes to understanding the dynamics of MSMEs in post-disaster areas and recommends the importance of government support in entrepreneurship training, financing access, and digital infrastructure development.

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to optimize Tahsin learning and improve students' Error Awareness in reading the Qur'an at SMP IT An Najma, which was found to be low in the initial evaluation. Low Error Awareness, characterized by repeated technical errors and dependence on teacher corrections, hinders students' independent learning. The proposed intervention action is the integration of Talaqqi (as a model for standard reading) with Peer-Assessment (as a mechanism for active reflection). This study adopts a spiral Plan-Act-Observe-Reflect Action Research design, carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were seventh-grade students at SMP IT An Najma. Data were collected using reading pre-tests and post-tests (quantitative data), as well as observations and in-depth interviews (qualitative data). Quantitative data analysis focused on the increase in the percentage of learning mastery per cycle, while qualitative data used thematic analysis to identify patterns of improvement in students' self-awareness when assessing their peers. The research results show that the integration of this method is effective. There was a significant improvement in students' reading quality, indicated by the increase in the learning completeness percentage from the initial condition (65%) to 90% at the end of Cycle II. Qualitatively, Peer-Assessment proved to force students to actively analyze the rules of tajwid and articulation points, which in turn enhanced their Error Awareness. Students no longer just receive corrections but are able to identify and correct mistakes in themselves and their peers. It is concluded that the Talaqqi and Peer-Assessment approaches can serve as optimal strategies to enhance students' independence and awareness in Tahsin Al-Qur’an. This study recommends the use of a structured Peer-Assessment rubric as an integral component of the Tahsin curriculum.

Abstract

The development of science and technology generally brings positive impacts in terms of convenience in various human activities, but on the other hand, it also leads to negative consequences such as an increase in waste. One of the significant wastes produced from construction activities, including building and house construction, is feldspar, which typically comes from leftover ceramic materials. Feldspar is a type of waste that is difficult to decompose naturally and has no economic value, often accumulating and polluting the environment. Therefore, innovation is needed to utilize this waste to create value. This study aims to use feldspar powder as a replacement for fine aggregates in K-200 grade concrete mixtures. The research method involved mixing feldspar powder in specific proportions as a substitute for sand, followed by a series of tests, including compressive strength and flexural tests, to determine the feasibility and performance of the resulting concrete. The results indicate that the use of feldspar powder as a fine aggregate produces a concrete mixture with satisfactory mechanical characteristics, meeting the K-200 concrete standards. These findings not only provide an alternative environmentally friendly material but also offer a solution to reduce ceramic waste, contributing positively to sustainable construction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine an appropriate formative assessment model in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah through the development of noble character-based instruments. Currently, assessment systems in primary education institutions are still dominated by cognitive aspects, while character assessments are often conducted accumulatively at the end of the semester without clear rubrics. The method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews across four primary education institutions. The results of the study indicate the absence of standardized formative assessment models based on noble character integrated into daily learning.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs are businesses formed by a group of people or individuals independently. Digital marketing is a strategy or marketing activity such as product promotion carried out through digital media. Marketing strategies through digital marketing are needed so that MSMEs can compete and reach more consumers. Pondok Etam is an MSME engaged in the culinary field that sells various kinds of food products that are focused on the target market for teenagers to adults. The purpose of this study is to determine the impact of digital marketing for MSME Pondok Etam. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews. The result of this study is that digital marketing has a positive impact on the MSME of Pondok Etam, because there is an increase in brand awareness and a significant increase in sales
