This study is based on the high public demand for high-quality, safe-to-consume halal food products that meet halal standards. The research method used was literature review; references were collected, researched, and analyzed from various relevant articles, journals, and books discussing Sharia principles, quality control, and the halal food production process. The study results indicate that optimizing production aspects in halal food MSMEs can be achieved through the implementation of Sharia-compliant standard operating procedures (SOPs), the selection of halal raw materials, and improving the cleanliness and efficiency of the production process. Meanwhile, product quality improvements can be achieved through quality standardization, attractive packaging, and halal certification. With this optimization, halal food small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Madura are expected to be able to compete in a wider market and increase customer trust in high-quality, Islamically compliant halal products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the process of transforming creative ideas into productive micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) within the context of studentpreneurship. This study uses a case study of the Stafi Bouquet business owned by Mustafida, a student who started her business before college. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews. The results indicate that the success of the Stafi Bouquet business stems not only from personal interests and experiences, but also from the owner's ability to manage time, utilize social media as a promotional tool, and understand market needs through flexible and varied product offerings. Furthermore, the learning process during college and extensive campus connections are also important factors in business development. This study emphasizes the importance of supporting studentpreneurship as a concrete effort to encourage the growth of MSMEs among students. The implications of these findings are expected to contribute to educational institutions and policymakers in designing strategies for empowering young entrepreneurs in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development efforts of MSMEs in the era of 5.0 and digitalization in women's clothing stores in Surabaya City, East Java. Women's clothing MSMEs are one of the sectors that have great potential for development, but are also faced with the challenges of intense competition and changes in consumer behavior. Era 5.0, with its focus on the integration of advanced technology and human-centric approach, as well as the acceleration of digitalization, offers significant opportunities for MSMEs to improve competitiveness. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method on several women's clothing stores in Surabaya. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with MSME owners, participatory observation, and analysis of related documents. The results show that women's clothing MSMEs in Surabaya have used various digital strategies, such as the use of e-commerch platforms, social media for marketing, and digital payments. Development in the 5.0 era requires MSMEs to not only utilize technology, but also understand and adapt to customer needs more holistically. The main challenges faced include limited capital, lack of digital literacy among some MSME actors, and the need for conducive ecosystem support from the government and related parties. This research recommends training programs that focus on the adoption of 5.0 era technology, facilitating access to capital for digital investment, and collaboration between MSMEs to create innovation. Thus, women's clothing MSMEs in Surabaya can be more optimal in utilizing digitalization and era 5.0 opportunities to achieve sustainable growth.

Abstract

Cooperatives play a strategic role in supporting the development of a people-centered economy by improving the welfare of their members. The success of a cooperative is largely determined by a strong legal foundation and transparent, accountable organizational governance, as embodied in the Articles of Association (AD) and Bylaws (ART). This study aims to analyze the role and function of AD/ART in enhancing the welfare of cooperative members. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, gathering data from various relevant sources. The results show that AD/ART not only serves as a formal administrative guide but also plays a crucial role in regulating the cooperative's operational mechanisms, safeguarding members' rights and obligations, and encouraging active participation in decision-making and business management. Consistent implementation of AD/ART can prevent internal conflicts, improve organizational accountability, and ultimately support the achievement of the cooperative’s main goal: sustainable improvement of its members' welfare

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) serve as the backbone of Indonesia’s economy, contributing significantly to employment creation, income distribution, and national economic growth. However, in the face of globalization and free trade, MSMEs struggle with intense competition from low-cost and high-quality imported products. This study aims to explore strategies for empowering local MSMEs to effectively compete against foreign goods in both domestic and international markets. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive method supported by literature review and policy evaluation, the research adopts a systematic approach involving multi-stakeholder synergy. Findings reveal that MSME empowerment must focus on enhancing access to finance, improving human capital, embracing digital technology, and optimizing marketing strategies. Government support in the form of adaptive regulations, robust infrastructure, and fiscal incentives is crucial to strengthening MSME competitiveness. Furthermore, the integration of information technology reduces transaction costs and significantly boosts market reach. The article proposes a collaborative empowerment model involving government, financial institutions, industry players, and civil society to foster a resilient, export-oriented MSME ecosystem.

Abstract

Sharia economy is a system that integrates Islamic values in economic activities, based on the principles of justice, balance, and sustainability. In the context of political economy, the role of the state is crucial to regulate and support the implementation of sharia economy through regulations that are in accordance with sharia principles. This study aims to analyze how the state can play a strategic role in sharia economic regulation, by examining various policies, regulations, and challenges faced. A descriptive-analytical approach is used in this study to understand the role of the state as a regulator, facilitator, and supervisor in realizing competitive sharia economic governance. The results of the study show that regulations issued by the state have a significant influence on the development of sharia economy, especially in the banking, finance, and trade sectors. However, challenges such as regulatory gaps, lack of public understanding, and weak cross-sector coordination are still obstacles that need to be overcome. Therefore, synergy is needed between the state, scholars, and economic actors to create an economic environment that is in line with sharia principles.
