Abstract

The relationship between leadership and teamwork with the implementation of total quality management is a very significant relationship. Leadership an important role in the success of an organization. Leadership is based on the nature of someone who is able to change others to achieve a goal. In addition, teamwork also influences the organization's success. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership and teamwork in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. This research uses literature study methods from various journals. The results of the research are facts about the importance of leadership and teamwork in implementing total quality management.

Abstract

This research explores the role of supervisors, particularly school principals, in improving student learning outcomes through continuous improvement. The study emphasizes the integral role of school principals in educational institutions. The research investigates the three key phases of supervision: planning, implementation, and evaluation. Effective supervision commences with comprehensive planning at the start of the academic year, involving all teachers and school staff. The core of supervised programs lies in their implementation, during which the principal observes teaching, classroom conditions, and student engagement. Subsequently, the evaluation stage involves an analysis of planning and implementation, enabling the identification of strategies and solutions to address issues and achieve continuous improvement. The qualitative methods employed in this research include observation, interviews, and documentation at sekolah menengah pertama katolik (SMPK) Kolese St. Yusup 2 Malang. The results demonstrate that the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of supervision at SMPK Kolese St. Yusup 2 Malang have successfully adopted a continuous improvement approach. This is evidenced by improvements in teacher effectiveness, social and personality competencies, and student learning outcomes, with notable achievements at local, regional, and national levels. The findings underscore the transformative potential of school principals as agents of change in academic supervision activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kompetensi literasi siswa selama dan pascapandemi COVID-19. Studi ini berfokus pada program SMART Plus yang mencakup sedekah buku, agen literasi, perpustakaan keliling, dan publikasi karya siswa, dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan inovasi literasi kolaboratif berbasis masyarakat melalui pendekatan Total Quality Management (TQM) di SMP. Metode kualitatif studi kasus digunakan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi, dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil menunjukkan penerapan TQM pada perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, dan perbaikan berkelanjutan mampu meningkatkan capaian literasi siswa, tercermin pada 95,56% siswa yang mencapai kompetensi minimum, meningkat signifikan dibanding sebelum program. Dampak lainnya adalah meningkatnya minat baca, munculnya karya tulis siswa, dan terbentuknya budaya membaca di sekolah maupun rumah. Pembahasan menegaskan keberhasilan program didukung kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kolaborasi multi-pihak, dan pemanfaatan media sosial, dengan tantangan rendahnya budaya membaca di rumah dan terbatasnya koleksi buku akademik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan strategi optimalisasi pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana di jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) untuk mengoptimalkan efisiensi operasional. Masalah yang diangkat adalah sering terjadinya kerusakan fasilitas pendidikan yang berdampak pada proses pembelajaran dan operasional sekolah. Ketidakefisienan dalam pemeliharaan dapat menyebabkan peningkatan biaya dan penurunan kualitas layanan pendidikan. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini ialah guna menganalisis metode pemeliharaan yang efektif dan berkelanjutan serta menyusun rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi operasional sekolah. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guna meninjau berbagai studi terdahulu tentang pemeliharaan sarana dan prasarana di sekolah, khususnya di tingkat SMA. Hasil dari SLR ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan proaktif dalam pemeliharaan, penggunaan teknologi manajemen fasilitas, dan pelatihan staf memiliki dampak positif terhadap efisiensi operasional. Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada keterbatasan studi yang secara komprehensif mengintegrasikan aspek manajerial dan teknologi dalam konteks pemeliharaan sarana pendidikan, yang selama ini kurang mendapat perhatian dalam kajian literatur. Rekomendasi yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu pihak sekolah, khususnya di jenjang SMA, dalam mengimplementasikan strategi pemeliharaan yang lebih efektif, sekaligus memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam pengembangan model manajemen fasilitas pendidikan berbasis efisiensi dan keberlanjutan.

Abstract

Quality educational institutions are those that continuously improve the quality of their education. This education should be given from an early age, because at an early age it is necessary to develop creativity in students. The purpose of this study was to examine the analysis of integrated quality management at SMK Negeri 3 Malang with Total Quality Management (TQM). In this study we used a research method with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique used was by giving a questionnaire to the principal of SMK Negeri 3 Malang. The results of this study are researchers analyzing how the integrated quality management process works with TOM, to understand how SMK Negeri 3 Malang seeks to apply the principle of providing customer satisfaction, what are the special programs at SMK Negeri 3 Malang as a form of optimal service, and superior accreditation as a form of principle continuous institutional improvement at SMK Negeri 3 Malang, which illustrates that the implementation of integrated quality management in SMK education institutions in early childhood is very necessary in supporting continuous improvement.

Abstract

This research is based on the concepts and implications of efforts to improve the quality of education using a Total Quality Management (TQM) based approach, especially in the context of improving teacher performance discipline. This research aims to outline the importance of implementing TQM in improving the quality of education through increasing the discipline of teacher performance as well as identifying concrete solutions that can be taken to improve teacher performance in educational institutions. The research method used is a literature review study or literature study referring to the prism standard flow of searching for papers based on keywords from a website in the form of Google Scholar, Science Direct, and Emerald Insight. Then the researcher’s group with identification, screening and include stages then review the findings regarding TQM in schools and its impact on teacher work discipline and education quality. The results found that teacher performance discipline is a very important aspect in the educational context because it has a significant impact on the quality of education. However, there are still findings that there are irregularities in disciplinary practices carried out by teachers in a few educational institutions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh sekolah yang belum mengetahui secara pasti seberapa besar tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap layanan pembelajaran dan sarana belajar di SMP IT Harapan Umat Ngawi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas layanan pembelajaran dan sarana belajar terhadap kepuasan siswa di SMP IT Harapan Umat Ngawi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuanitatif dengan model survei. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepuasan siswa terhadap layanan pembelajaran berada pada kategori “Sangat Rendah” sebesar 0% (0 siswa), dalam kategori “Rendah” sebesar 8,3% (6 siswa), dalam kategori “Sedang” sebesar 9,7% (7 siswa), sementara kategori “Tinggi” sebesar 59,7% (43 siswa), dan “Sangat Tinggi” sebesar 22,2% (16 siswa). Sementara itu pada sarana belajar kepuasan siswa berada pada kategori “Sangat Rendah” sebesar 0% (0 siswa), dalam kategori “Rendah” sebesar 4,2% (3 siswa), dalam kategori “Sedang” sebesar 19,4% (14 siswa), sementara kategori “Tinggi” sebesar 65,3% (47 siswa), dan “Sangat Tinggi” sebesar 11,1% (8 siswa). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap layanan pembelajaran berada pada tingkat tinggi dengan prosentase 59,7% dan tingkat kepuasan siswa terhadap sarana belajar berada pada tingkat tinggi dengan prosentase 65,3%.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan tonggak utama untuk kemajuan bangsa, pendidikan yang baik membutuhkan kinerja guru yang baik juga, tantangan ini semakin kompleks akibat berbagai faktor sosial dan kondisi geografis di indonesia, maka pengembangan profesional guru cukup krusial untuk meningkatkan kulitas kinerja guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap urgensi, dampak dan tantangan dari berbagai artikel. sehingga nanti dapat menjadi acuan dalam meningkatkan kualitas kinerja guru melalui kegiatan pengembangan profesional guru. Penelitian  ini  mengadopsi  pendekatan  kualitatif dengan  menggunakan  kajian literatur sistematis. Penelitian ini menemukan 430 artikel yang disaring sebanyak tiga tahap menggunakan model PRISMA, tahap pertama 77 artikel dibuang, kedua 65 artikel di buang, ketiga 115 artikel dibuang, kemudian dianalisis lebih mendalam terakait urgensi, dampak dan tantangan dalam pengembangan profesional guru. penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil pentingnya pengembangan profesional untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, dampak yang dihasilkan dari beberapa metode pengembangan profesional, serta tantangan dalam pelaksanaan pengembangan profesional guru sehingga mempersulit dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru.

Abstract

Asperger's syndrome is a developmental disorder of social interaction, communication and behavior. Asperger's syndrome is also known as the little professor syndrome because it has a unique behavior, way of thinking and communicating. The existence of obstacles regarding social skills experienced by students with social skills requires that schools have the sensitivity to participate in supporting students' social skills. Social and communication skills are very important for students to be able to show their emotions and feelings appropriately. The research method used in this study is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. This study uses behavioristic theory to find out how the role of the facilitator is in improving students' social abilities by assessing the four main activities, namely: making friends, studying, worshiping and doing activities. The role of the facilitator and the natural school concept promoted by the Sekolah Alam SAKA Kediri contribute to changes in students with Asperger's syndrome..

Abstract

Environmental education is one of the keys to people, especially students, having an awareness of protecting the environment. This qualitative study aims to investigate the best ways for school committees to play a role and how to adopt strategic management for environmental education to be sustained over the long term. The research subjects comprised one principal, five teachers, five students, and three school committee members. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and literature studies related to the strategic planning process and the role of school committees. The findings demonstrated that schools had to adopt a strategic management approach to accomplish environmental education goals, including formulation, implementation, assessment, and control. The first four years of school focused on implementing environmental education in school. For the next four years, the focus shifts to civilizing the environment within the school's internal environment. In the third four years, the school concentrates on acculturating the external environment. The school committee plays a vital role in implementing environmental education by considering school regulations, supervising, supporting schools financially, and actively participating in the process. This research implies that this research can be a basis for further research, especially in strategic planning and school committees.
