Abstract

Saat ini, dunia pendidikan telah mengalami banyak sekali perubahan, salah satunya ialah dengan munculnya banyak sekali sekolah swasta. Sekolah swasta ini muncul dikarenakan beberapa alasan diantaranya adalah banyaknya lembaga pendidikan swasta yang menyebabkan persaingan antar sekolah dalam memperebutkan siswa. Semakin bagus mutu sekolah, seharusnya juga akan menarik secara khusus di mata calon siswa baru dan juga masyarakat secara umum. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan sekolah memenangkan persaingan mendapat siswa dan menganalisa strategi yang harus diambil guna memenangkan persaingan tersebut. Hasil dari analisa menunjukkan dua strategi yaitu mendorong sekolah untuk mendapat adiwiyata nasional sehingga mendapatkan lebih banyak perhatian dari pemerintah dan lokasi yang strategis bisa dikembangkan menjadi Sekolah Ramah Anak dan menyasar siswa inkusi. Analisis dengan matriks QSPM menunjukkan hasil bahwa strategi pertama mendapat nilai TAS sebesar 5,14 lebih besar dari strategi pertama sebesar 5,01. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi yang sebaiknya diprioritaskan adalah strategi mendorong sekolah untuk mendapat adiwiyata nasional sehingga mendapatkan lebih banyak perhatian dari pemerintah.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan: (1) persiapan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa kampus mengajar dalam menggerakkan literasi siswa di SDN 1 Pusungmalang Puspo; (2) analisis tantangan dan hambatan mahasiswa kampus mengajar dalam berperan sebagai implementator pelaksanaan program peningkatan literasi siswa SDN 1 Pusungmalang Puspo; (3) strategi yang digunakan oleh mahasiswa kampus mengajar dalam berperan sebagai implementator pelaksanaan program peningkatan literasi siswa SDN 1 Pusungmalang Puspo; (4) dampak program kampus mengajar dalam peningkatan literasi siswa di SDN 1 Pusungmalang Puspo.Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan studi kasus, lokasi dilaksanakan di SDN Pusungmalang 1 Puspo Pasuruan, teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi wawancara, dan analisis data lapangan dan studi dokumenter. Proses analisis data meliputi pengumpulan data, kondensasi data dan pengambilan kesimpulanyang menggunakan software Nvivo 12 pro. Keabsahan data penelitian menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan berbagai temuan terkait implementasi Program Kampus Mengajar dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa. Mahasiswa memulai dengan persiapan yang matang, mengikuti pelatihan yang disediakan oleh program, yang meliputi pemahaman kebutuhan siswa, penyesuaian materi pembelajaran, serta penggunaan media yang relevan untuk mendukung proses belajar. Namun, mereka menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas di sekolah, termasuk akses yang terbatas terhadap buku dan teknologi, serta kondisi geografis yang sulit dijangkau dan rendahnya minat baca siswa.

Abstract

The role of the principal as an education manager is needed to support the effective and efficient running of the education process in the school. Leadership is the activity of managing other people as subordinates. Leadership is seen as a trigger for various activities, processes, and willingness to change the point of view or physical mentality of a group of people, both in formal and informal organizational relationships. The effectiveness of school administration personnel needs to be assessed to see the extent to which the effectiveness of school administration personnel carries out their duties and functions. This effectiveness is certainly inseparable from the leadership role of school administration personnel as managers who provide motivation, encouragement and direction to those concerned. Effectiveness is a level of success achieved by a person or group of people in a certain way in accordance with the standard goals that have been prepared. In other words, the more plans that are successfully achieved, the more effective the activity can be said to be. Good administrative staff are administrative staff who succeed can be seen through the implementation of good and consistent responsibility tasks to support the achievement of effective performance. This research uses a type of literature review research, namely looking for theoretical references that are relevant to the topic or problem specified. School administrators are an important part of the education system that has the function of supporting the continuity of school operations. School administration personnel are responsible for managing staffing, finance, student affairs, infrastructure, public relations, and curriculum activities. The result of this study is that the leadership role of the school principal is considered important to improve the effectiveness of the performance of school administrative personnel. To create a productive and efficient work environment, it is very important for school principals to exercise leadership and improve the effectiveness of school administration staff performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji strategi manajemen hubungan masyarakat dalam pengembangan citra positif di SD My Little Island Malang, dengan fokus pada strategi humas, kegiatan humas untuk membangun citra positif, dan preferensi konsumen pendidikan. SD My Little Island Malang menerapkan strategi humas yang efektif melalui program unggulan seperti Character Solution International (CSI) yang menonjolkan pengembangan karakter siswa. Pemanfaatan teknologi, seperti website dan media sosial, mendukung transparansi dan kemudahan akses informasi, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kepercayaan dan preferensi orang tua terhadap sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan analisis data NVivo melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan humas yang baik berpengaruh positif terhadap preferensi konsumen pendidikan, dengan kebijakan sekolah yang mempromosikan toleransi antar agama dan budaya menambah daya tarik sekolah di mata masyarakat multikultural. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, disarankan agar kepala sekolah mendukung peningkatan infrastruktur digital untuk tim humas dan IT, memperkuat kegiatan interaktif dengan masyarakat dan orang tua, serta mengembangkan website sekolah agar lebih interaktif dan responsif. Orang tua juga diharapkan lebih aktif berpartisipasi dalam pembelajaran anak dan kolaborasi dengan sekolah, serta penelitian selanjutnya dapat menjadikan temuan ini sebagai pedoman dalam mengembangkan strategi manajemen humas yang sukses di lembaga pendidikan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dynamic adaptation of stakeholders to Cambridge curriculum-based learning in elementary schools. It explores stakeholder perspectives, challenges, and adaptation strategies in responding to the unique demands of the Cambridge-based curriculum. The Cambridge curriculum is known for its international approach, emphasizing critical thinking and students' analytical skills. However, its success depends on the effectiveness of learning management in schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques include observation and interviews, with data sources obtained from the vice principal of the curriculum section (internal stakeholder) and parents (external stakeholders). The results indicate that implementing the Cambridge curriculum presents challenges for both teachers and students. These challenges must be minimized through strategies applied in schools. Important factors in implementation include framework surgery with combining local and global contexts in learning, granting teacher flexibility in lesson management, conducting supervision, and implementing the English Habits program. This program encourages all school members, especially students, to use English in daily school activities. From these findings, recommendations focus on improving school management and enhancing teacher professionalism. Strengthening teacher training, optimizing curriculum planning, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders are crucial for more effective Cambridge curriculum implementation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) terhadap penerapan Total Quality Management (TQM) pada jenjang pendidikan menengah Pondok Pesantren Yayasan Lenterahati. Pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif-korelasional digunakan dengan melibatkan seluruh guru SMP dan SMA sebagai sampel total (n=49). Instrumen penelitian berupa angket Skala Likert yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya (α = 0,910). Hasil analisis menggunakan SPSS menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan memiliki hubungan linier. Uji korelasi menunjukkan hubungan kuat antara PDCA dan TQM (r = 0,771), dengan kontribusi sebesar 59,4% (R² = 0,594). Uji t menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (< 0,05), yang mengindikasikan adanya pengaruh signifikan PDCA terhadap TQM. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa siklus PDCA efektif mendukung penerapan TQM dalam pendidikan menengah. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan implementasi PDCA sebagai strategi peningkatan mutu berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah berbasis Islam terpadu.

Abstract

Artikel ini membicarakan bagaimana teknologi dapat berperan dalam merancang rencana pembelajaran yang menarik untuk Generasi Z yang tumbuh dan berkembang di era teknologi yang semakin canggih. Artikel ini membahas karakteristik Generasi Z, tantangan yang muncul saat mengintegrasikan teknologi dalam pembelajaran mereka, peran teknologi dalam perencanaan pembelajaran mereka, dan strategi penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran bagi Generasi Z. Dalam konteks pembelajaran Generasi Z, teknologi dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, meningkatkan aksesibilitas, mendorong kolaborasi, merangsang kreativitas, dan meningkatkan efisiensi. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk mempertimbangkan peran teknologi dalam merancang rencana pembelajaran yang menarik bagi Generasi Z.

Abstract

Recent studies have indicated a significant increase in the investigation of digital behaviour in education, coinciding with the advent of distance learning in the aftermath of the global pandemic. The objective of this study is to analyse contemporary research trends on digital behaviour in education through bibliometric analysis of data sourced from Scopus. This research method employs a literature review with bibliometric analysis.The research stage was conducted by determining: (i) the purpose and scope of the study, (ii) bibliometric study techniques, (iii) data collection, (iv) data analysis, and (v) reporting findings.Data analysis was carried out by determining keywords in the data collection process, namely "digital behavior" and "education".A total of 66 relevant articles were identified from Scopus data sources between 2011 and 2024. The results of the analysis revealed a significant relationship between digital behaviour research and education, with this trend capturing important momentum starting in 2020. This indicates that the integration of digital behaviour in education during the pandemic has driven a substantial shift in the learning process.The findings recommend the long-term adoption of educational technology in shaping digital behaviour as an integral aspect of the education system. The implications of the research highlight the need for teaching methods and educational policies to maximize the potential of technology in supporting effective and meaningful learning.

Abstract

The demand for digital competence in education is increasing in line with the rapid advancement of technology, requiring teachers to adapt digital tools and platforms in their instructional practices. This study aims to examine the extent to which technology integration in teaching influences the digital pedagogical competence of public junior high school teachers in Probolinggo City. A non-experimental quantitative approach was employed using a survey method. The sample comprised 185 teachers selected through proportionate stratified random sampling from a total population of 334 teachers. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale, which had passed both validity and reliability tests. Data were analyzed using simple linear regression with the aid of SPSS version 27.0. The findings indicate that technology integration in teaching significantly influences teachers’ digital pedagogical competence, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.624. This suggests that 62.4% of the variance in teachers’ digital pedagogical competence can be explained by the variable of technology integration, while the remaining 37.6% is influenced by other factors. These findings confirm that the more effectively teachers utilize technology, the higher their level of digital pedagogical competence. The main conclusion of this study is that technology integration serves as a critical factor in shaping teachers' digital pedagogical competence. The implication is that policy support and continuous training programs are essential to enhance teachers’ capacity to effectively use technology in teaching. Such efforts are vital for realizing an adaptive, relevant, and high-quality educational transformation in the digital era.

Abstract

Higher education service quality is a key factor in shaping student satisfaction. The era of rapidly developing technology has given birth to various innovations in the world of higher education, one of which is online distance education. These innovations must be supported by high quality services, which directly impact student satisfaction. A systematic literature review on research that examines the service quality factors of Online Distance Learning Universities from various countries will obtain a model of service quality factors in shaping student satisfaction in Online Distance Learning Universities. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze significant service quality factors in shaping student satisfaction in Online Distance Learning Universities. In addition, this study also developed a conceptual framework in the form of a service quality model for student satisfaction in the context of distance higher education. The method used uses a qualitative approach, with the type of PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items, for Systematic Review and Meta Analyses). The results of this study reveal that student satisfaction with service quality in Online Distance Learning Universities is influenced by various factors of service quality namely e-learning system quality, course design and content, support services, interaction, teaching & Instructor quality, and technology resources & infrastructure. The result of the research is the E-QUALS model which is a theoretical framework modeling the dimensions of service quality factors that shape student satisfaction in Online Distance Learning Universities.
