Abstract

The development of e-commerce has changed consumer behavior. With the presence of e-commerce, many habits have changed, starting from previous shopping habits in offline stores, now switching to shopping at online stores using shopping sites and applications such as Shopee, because it makes it easier for consumers to make buying and selling transactions online. However, Shopee, which is a consumer favorite, has several problems, including some consumers who buy products at Shopee feeling disappointed because the goods purchased do not match expectations, thus affecting consumer buying intentions. Several previous studies have shown that there is a relationship between consumer trust and purchasing decisions. This study uses descriptive quantitative research using multiple linear regression analysis. The subjects of this research are Shopee consumers. The variables used in this study are consumer product knowledge, trust, risk perception and reviews as moderating variables. The results of the research show that consumer product knowledge has a positive but not significant effect on Shopee consumers’ purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the variables of trust, risk perception and reviews have a significant positive effect on Shopee consumers’ purchase intentions. Then the review variable is not able to moderate the relationship between consumer product knowledge and purchase intention. However, reviews are able to moderate the relationship between trust, risk perception and purchase intention.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of internship experience, motivation, and job interest on work readiness, with the campus atmosphere serving as an intervening variable among students at the Islamic University of North Sumatra. The sample consisted of 100 participants, and data were collected through questionnaires—the analysis employed regression techniques to evaluate the relationships among the variables. The findings reveal that internship experience positively influences the campus atmosphere. At the same time, motivation does not show a significant effect. Additionally, job interest positively impacts the campus atmosphere. All three factors—internship experience, motivation, and job interest—positively affect work readiness. However, the campus atmosphere does not significantly influence work readiness. The analysis results show that the campus atmosphere does not influence how internship experience affects work readiness. It also does not affect how motivation and job interest relate to work readiness.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of food price regulation policies on people's purchasing power in South Labuhan Batu Regency. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, which involves collecting data through interviews conducted with 5 traders and 15 buyers in traditional markets. Data analysis involves the process of data reduction, data writing, and verification to arrive at research conclusions. The research results show that policies aimed at controlling food prices contribute positively to price stability and increase people's purchasing power. Based on research results, traders recognize the benefits of price stability even though their profit margins are decreasing. The same thing is felt by fruit and fish sellers, who experience price stability but have to face high operational costs and decreasing profit margins. For consumers, this policy helps reduce the burden on household expenses, even though product quality and availability of goods are sometimes inconsistent. From an Islamic economic perspective, this policy is in line with the principles of justice and social welfare. Islam encourages a fair economic system, where the prices of goods are not only influenced by market forces but also take into account the welfare of the people

Abstract

Based on the mitigation method, insurance is divided into conventional insurance and sharia insurance. In sharia insurance, the principle of risksharing is applied. In the concept of risksharing, all participants are obliged to pay contributions to the insurance manager. This contribution consists of three elements, namely ujrah, tabarru, and tijarah. Life insurance product xxx is a discrete n-year term life insurance that includes tijarah elements in the unit link. Life insurance product xxx has three elements of contribution, namely ujrah, tabarru, and tijarah. The ujrah fund has been determined by the insurance manager and is explained in detail in the policy agreement. The tijarah fund depends on the investment level assumption chosen by the prospective insurance participant. In addition to these two elements, the insurance manager must calculate tabarru to pay the insurance participant's claim. In this study, an estimate will be made for the gross contribution of the tabarru fund. To estimate the gross contribution of tabarru funds, the Cost of Insurance (COI) method is used which involves the variable ?? (the probability of death of a person aged ? years obtained from the mortality table), discount factor, and assumptions of management fees. The Gompertz mortality law approach is used to refine the mortality table. The results are in the form of a table of gross contributions of tabarru funds for prospective male and female participants with an assumption of insurance compensation of Rp. 250,000,000 for the age range of 1-111 years with nine combinations of three investment return assumptions and three management fees that can be chosen by prospective insurance participants. Keywords: sharia insurance, contribution, COI

The samples in this study were pregnant women in trimesters 1, 2, and 3 in the Boawae Health Center area. The research variables were knowledge, education, income, and work. The instrument used was a questionnaire. Data analysis using chi-squared with alpha (a = 0.05). Results: The research sample included as many as 105 pregnant women. Bivariate results showed that the variables knowledge (p = 0.982), education (p = 0.059), income (p = 0.08), and occupation (p = 0.338). This indicates that the factors of knowledge, education, income, and occupation do not have a significant relationship with chronic energy deficiency. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between the factors of knowledge, education, income, and employment and the incidence of chronic energy deficiency (CHD) in pregnant women.
