Abstract

This study was motivated by the importance of innovative learning models that are relevant to technological developments and the characteristics of elementary school students in the digital era. Science and Social Studies (IPAS) learning requires an approach that is contextual, meaningful, and able to actively involve students in the learning process. One of the appropriate models is Project Based Learning (PjBL), especially when integrated with interactive digital media. This study aimed to analyze and synthesize research findings related to the implementation of the PjBL model assisted by interactive digital media in Grade IV elementary school IPAS learning. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach. Data sources were obtained from the PoPCites database through stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. From the initial 100 articles, 20 relevant articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed comprehensively. The results showed that the implementation of PjBL assisted by interactive digital media such as Canva, Padlet, Wordwall, Genially, YouTube, and Augmented Reality was able to improve student motivation, learning participation, conceptual understanding, critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration, and learning outcomes in IPAS subjects. Interactive digital media also helped transform abstract IPAS concepts into more concrete, visual, and meaningful learning experiences. Therefore, the PjBL model assisted by interactive digital media is considered an effective and adaptive learning strategy to support the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum and the development of 21st-century competencies in elementary schools.

Abstract

Low learning outcomes in IPAS among third-grade elementary school students are often caused by conventional teaching approaches that lack depth and active engagement. This study aims to determine the effect of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model based on deep learning approach on third-grade students' IPAS learning outcomes. This research is a quasi-experiment using a non-equivalent control group design, involving two classes from Cluster 2 UPT SD Negeri Gresik, each consisting of 25 students. The experimental class implemented TGT with deep learning through a monopoly game on money needs, while the control class used conventional learning; data were collected via pretest and posttest, analyzed using independent t-test and N-gain in Jamovi. Results showed the experimental class posttest average was significantly higher (p < 0.05), N-gain reached moderate to high categories, and mastery exceeded 80%. Thus, TGT based on deep learning positively and significantly improves IPAS learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the integrated content of TPACK with STEAM in thematic books. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach. The data is the form of content in thematic books. The validity of the instrument used in this study is to use expert validity calculations or Gregory and data validated by increased persistence and theoretical triangulation. Integration TPACK and STEAM in the Science aspect appears 28 items with the provision that 9 items on integration of Science with Content Knowledge and 19 on integration between Science and Pedagogical Knowledge and are the most frequent occurrences. Integration between Engineering and TPACK appears 5 items. Furthermore, content that integrates Art with TPACK is 18 items with the provision that integration between Art and Technological Knowledge is 14 items and Content Knowledge is 4 items. The integration between Technology and TPACK doesn’t appear in content class V thematic books both from teacher or student books, considering there no indicators state that the content in the book contains Technology. The Mathematics aspect did not appear with the consideration that there was no content of Mathematics subject on the theme 1 Organ Gerak hewan dan manusia.

Abstract

Keterampilan abad 21 yang harus dimiliki peserta didik adalah keterampilan berpikir kritis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe carousel feedback bagi peserta didik sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Sugihan 04 tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes, wawancara, dokumentasi dan observasi. Triangulasi teknik dan sumber merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk menguji keabsahan. Analisis data menggunakan analisis interaktif. Kondisi awal menunjukkan presentase ketuntasan tes keterampilan berpikir kritis sebesar 15%, siklus I pertemuan 1 sebesar 35%, dan siklus I pertemuan 2 meningkat menjadi 55%. Pada siklus II pertemuan 1 presentase ketuntasan meningkat menjadi 80%, kemudian pertemuan 2 meningkat menjadi 90%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe carousel feedback dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila pada siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Sugihan 04.

Abstract

The Minister of Education and Culture of The Republic of Indonesia since March 24 2020 issued Circular No.4 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Education Policies in an Emergency for the Spread of COVID-19, In this Circular Letter states that the learning process is carried out in their respective homes through online learning. The purpose of this study was to describe the impact of implementing online learning corncerning the quality of science learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research was conducted in class VI.I SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The data were collected by means of questionnaires and interviews from teachers and students as well as strengthened documentation. The results showed that through the implementation of online learning had an impact on not achieving on of the criteria in the indicator, namely the development of critical thinking in science learning. Teachers have not developed critical thinking in students, and students have not developed critical thinking. Based on this description it can be concluded that the quality of science learning in class VI.I SDN Kleco I Surakarta is quite good due to the impact of implementing online learning.

Abstract

Creative thinking skills are essential skills for 21st-century life. Creative thinking skills are closely related to the ability to produce creative ideas to compete globally. The purpose of this research was to improve creative thinking skills using the Creative Entrepreneurship Learning Model-Based Discovery Skills (CEL-BaDiS). This type of research is classroom action research with the implementation of three cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. Each consist of four steps there were planning, action, observation and reflection cycles. The data was collected by using several techniques such as observation, interview, documentation and creative thinking test. The interactive model was used to analyze the data. The assessment of research showed that both students' creative thinking and teacher's performance increased continuously. Based on the results, it can be concluded that trough double lo-problem solving models based on experiment enhancing the student's creative thinking skills of heat and transfer for grade IV students.

Abstract

Abstract.This research aimed to increase the ability to understanding the concept of single and mixed subtance by applying Two Stay Two Stray learning model to all The V grade students of elementary school III Slogohimo Year 2018/2019. The subject of this research is the teacher and the V grade students ofSlogohimo Elementary School Year 2018/2019 which was there 32 students.The technique of data validity was used source and technique triangulation. The result of the data in this research showing that the ability to understand singgle and mixed subtance concept was intereased in each cycles. Preaction show the data 6,35%, in the cycles I show the data clasical completeness result from te class 46,9%, and then 90,6% in cycles II. Based on the description above we can conclude that the applying of Two Stay Two Stray learning model can increase the ability of V grade student III Slogohimo Elementary School Year 2018/2019 to understand the single and mixed subtance concept.Keyword :Two Stay Two Stray, The concept understanding, single and mixed subtance

Abstract

This research aims to investigate differences in creative thinking abilities among students in the fifth grade when employing problem based learning versus case based learning in science education. A quantitative research approach was utilized in this study with a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 23 students from class VA and 20 students from Class VB at SD N 1 Delanggu. Data were obtained through pre-test and post-tests administered before and after the learning interventions. Data analysis was conducted using t-tests. Findings revealed no significant difference between the two instructional approaches (sig = 0.095 > sig 0.05). Consequently, both approaches demonstrate comparable effectiveness in fostering creative thinking skills. This study indicates that educators may employ either PBL or CBL, provided adjustments are made to suit student characteristics and learning objectives. This research may also serve as a reference for other scholars in related fields.

Abstract

The case-based learning model provides students with the opportunity to be effectively involved in the learning process so that they can construct their own knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of case-based learning models on students' cognitive learning outcomes in terms of computational thinking. This study is a quantitative study. The sample was selected using cluster random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using essay test techniques to measure cognitive learning outcomes and computational thinking, as well as a scale to measure the level of student preference for learning. Validity testing was carried out using Aiken's V validity. Data analysis was carried out using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The results of this study are as follows. The results showed a positive effect of case-based learning models on the cognitive learning outcomes of UNS PGSD students. There was no significant effect between students' computational thinking and their cognitive learning outcomes. There was no interaction between case-based learning models and computational thinking skills with the cognitive learning outcomes of UNS PGSD students. Based on these results, it can be concluded that case-based learning models have an effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes. However, there was no effect between learning outcomes and computational thinking skills, and there was no interaction between case-based learning models and students' computational thinking skills. The results of this study can be used as a reference for further research.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is describing the improvement concluding skills through the PjBL model (Project Based Learning) thru Science learning on 3rd grade in elementary school the academic year 2017/2018. The method of this research is Classroom Action Research is done in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four steps i.e. planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject is 3rd grade at one of elemetary school which consist of 21 students. The Data collection techniques are using observation, interviews, tests, and dokumnetasi. The validity of the data using triangulation technique and content validity. Technique of data analysis is using the interactive model analysis. The results showed an increase at each meeting of classical achievement, from 0% in pre cycle, increase to 47,61% in cycle I and end up in 85,17% on cycle II. There are 19.04% (4 students) who scored < 80, it mean that they don’t pass the minimum criteria.. The reason is they have difficulty in accepting the explanation from teacher. To  follow-up that problem, the teacher will give more attention to the activities that can improve concluded skills. The conclusion of this research is that through the PjBL (Project Based Learning) model can improve the concluding skill at the science learning 3rd grade at one of  elementary school in the academic year 2017/2018.
