Abstract

This article reviews the implementation of online learning and student motivation during a pandemic in the basic subjects of electricity and electronics at SMK Negeri 5 Padang. This research answers the question of how to describe the implementation of online learning and students' learning motivation in the Basic Electricity and Electronics (DLE) subject at SMK 5 Padang. This research is a quantitative study with a population of all students of class X who take Basic Electricity and Electronics (DLE) subjects at SMK 5 Padang City with a total of 35 people. The results showed that the learning constraints in the category of students who chose Yes showed a percentage of 61.4%. The category that chose Not showed a percentage of 38.6%. Regarding online learning resources, students who chose Yes showed a percentage of 40.7%. The category that chose Not showed a percentage of 59.3%. There is a desire and desire of students to learn who choose Yes shows a percentage of 90%. The category that chose No shows a percentage of 10%. There is encouragement and need for students in learning who choose Yes to show a percentage of 45.7%. The category that chose Not showed a percentage of 54.3%. There is hope that students in the future who choose Yes show a percentage of 79.4%. The category that chose No shows a percentage of 20.6%.

Abstract

Alumni data collection activities as material for recapitulating the data needed as the completeness of accreditation documents and performance evaluation documents for tertiary institutions. This will not be achieved if the data collection is still using manual methods such as contacting the graduates one by one. This activity will take up time and the data that has been collected so far is not optimal. The purpose of conducting this research is to develop information technology in tracing graduates using the Google form at the product validity testing stage. This research is development research using 4D models. The validation test was carried out at the development stage, for this reason, the research was limited to the product development phase only. The instrument used for the validation test is in the form of a validity questionnaire for the product being developed. Questionnaires will be distributed and then the product will be validated based on the statements that have been prepared beforehand. The validators who validate the product are 4 expert lecturers. The assessment is carried out based on material aspects and media aspects. The results of product research developed with an information technology approach are in the valid category. Not until this stage, the product that has been declared valid, then revised again based on suggestions by experts. It is hoped that after obtaining validation data for the product, the next step is to carry out practicality tests and effectiveness tests so that the product can be disseminated and can be used in education, especially in the graduate study tracer at the Department of Automotive Engineering FT-UNP

Abstract

This study discusses efforts to improve the implementation of remote learning that is not optimal through the development of Virtual Learning using the Problem-Based Learning Model for vocational education students in the learning process of Electrical Lighting Installation at Vocational High School (SMKN) 2 Lubuk Basung, Sumatera Barat Province. The emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic demands a rapid change in the implementation of learning from face-to-face learning in the classroom to remote learning. This change requires innovations in implementing learning such as media and learning models to ensure optimal learning implementation even though it is carried out remotely. The 4-D development model (Four-D) is applied in this study as a research product development model consisting of 4 stages: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The instrument used for data collection in the study is a questionnaire for the validity and practicality assessment instrument. The results showed that the virtual learning developed using the Problem-Based Learning Model was valid to be applied in the learning process. After being tested in the learning process, the Virtual Learning developed has been practically used in the learning process to optimize the implementation of learning and improve student learning outcomes. It can be concluded that the Virtual Learning developed with the Problem-Based Learning Model is valid and practical to use in the learning process to optimize the implementation of electric lighting installation learning for vocational education students.

Abstract

This study aims to create web-based instructional media with Google Sites and then assess the media's validity, practicability, and efficacy. This research used the R & D (Research and Development) technique with the 4-D development model (Four-D Model). Data collection used 3 types of questionnaires consisting of media, material, and language validation questionnaires. To test the effectiveness of the media, pretest and posttest questions were used, which had gone through a process of validation, reliability, discriminatory power and level of difficulty. The test results of all validations show that an average validity index of 0,919 in the Very Eligible criteria. Media practicality is in the Very Practical category, with an average practicality percentage of 84.91% across instructors and students. The media's effectiveness level is Effective Enough, with an average N-Gain score of 60.77% and a substantial T-Test value of 0.000, indicating that it may be utilized effectively in SMK Informatics learning. This study conducted trials on students who had just implemented the Merdeka curriculum.

Abstract

Penelitianninibbertujuan untuknmenghasilkan jobsheet yang valid, praktis dan efektif padaamataapelajaran Instalasi Tenaga Listrik kelassXI TITLLdi SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitianmpengembangan (Research and Development). Penelitiannini menggunakannmodelnpengembangan 4D model dengan empat tahapan pokok yaitu Define, Design, Develop dan Disseminate. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara menggunakan tiga Instrumen yaitu angket validasi, angket praktikalitas, dan lembar penilaian kerja (rubrik). Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh data rata-rata validitas jobsheet dari tiga validator sebesar 0,73 dengan kategorinvalid. Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh guru sebesar 82,15% dinyatakan dengan kategorinsangat praktis dan praktikalitas oleh peserta didik dengan rata-rata sebesar 83.52% dinyatakan dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil efektifitas jobsheet diuji cobakan kepada peserta didik sebesar 96% pada ketuntasan dan jobsheet dinyatakan sudah efektif digunakan. Dengan demikian jobsheet Instalasi Tenaga Listrik dinyatakan valid, prktis, dan efektif digunakan pada praktikum Instalasi.Tenaga.Listrik pada kelas.XI TITL di SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan…modul pembelajaran yang .valid dan praktis pada mata pelajaran instalasi penerangan listrik kelas XI TITL di SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model 4D. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI TITL 2 di SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto pada semester satu tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh validitas instrumen peneltian rata-rata 94% dengan kategori valid. Uji validitas media 83% dengan kategori.valid. Validitas materi rata-rata sebesar 90,5% dengan kategori valid. Uji praktikalitas dengan responden guru rata-rata sebesar 86,5% dengan kategori .praktis dan responden siswa kelas XI TITL 2 SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto dengan nilai rata-rata 82,9% menyatakan modul pembelajaran instalasi penerangan listrik dikategori sangat praktis. Disimpulkan bahwa modul pembelajaran instalasi penerangan listrik adalah valid dan praktis dapat digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif pada mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik dengan menggunakan software Google site di SMK Negeri 2 Payakumbuh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research & Development). Data diambil dengan menggunakan kuesioner dengan teknik analisis persentase. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, nilai keempat validator sebesar 88,81% dengan kategori sangat valid. Responden dari dua orang guru mata pelajaran Instalasi Motor Listrik pada kepraktisan media memperoleh skor rata-rata 91,10% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Hasil keefektifan diperoleh dari nilai posttest siswa setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran menggunakan situs Google dengan nilai rata-rata 85%.

Abstract

Manusia bekerja berbagai profesi, dan seringkali, tenaga kerja ini menghabiskan banyak waktu yang mungkin dimiliki karyawan untuk kegiatan rekreasi. Pesatnya kemajuan teknologi kelistrikan telah menyebabkan terciptanya berbagai alat yang digunakan untuk menunjang tenaga manusia seperti yang dilakukan saat ini. Saat ini, alat yang mengotomatiskan pekerjaan manusia menyelesaikan tugas-tugas yang sebelumnya diselesaikan secara manual oleh laki-laki. Alat ini dikendalikan oleh Arduino dan terdiri dari berbagai bagian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatur aquascape secara keseluruhan dan tambahan IoT (Internet of things) oleh karena itu perlu di atur aquascape secara keseluruhan serta memantau aquascape jarah jauh IoT (Internet Of Things) dengan aplikasi blynk. Pengujian dilakukan dengan arduino sebagai sistem control untuk menjalankan proses sesuai dengan rancangan yang telah di buat. Alat ini menggunakan 2 sensor yaitu sensor suhu DS18B20 dan sensor jarak HC-RS04 serta menggunakan RTC dan push button sebagai input. Sedangkan bagian outputnya menggunakan LCD (Liquid Crystal Display), modul relay 6 channel, ESP8266, dan motor servo.

Abstract

The application of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model in CAD courses has so far not been satisfactory. the results of the design drawings produced by students could not be implemented because the size, component layout, beauty did not meet the criteria. As a result, the students failure rate in CAD courses from 2019 to 2022 is quite high. PjBL with the STEAM approach is a solution because with STEAM the design of the images produced by students is based on criteria Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research, which is an examination of activities that are deliberately raised and occur in a class, and have 3 Cycle. The process of implementing the research consists of four components, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The population is Diploma 3 Automotive Engineering Students in Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang (FT UNP) who are enrolled in the CAD course for the Semester January - June 2022 and totaling 46 students. The data collection techniques through observation sheets and students performance in designing drawings using CAD software. The results of the study show that the implementation of PjBL with the STEAM approach can improve the quality of learning. The quality of learning observed is the activity of lecturers and students and learning outcomes. The percentage of lecturer activity in the learning process is 77% and increases in cycles 2 and 3 with percentages of 85.90% and 89.6%. While students activity in the learning process cycle 1 obtained a percentage of 62.4%, increased in cycles 2 and 3 of 73.20% and 87.70%. courses computer aided design using a project-based learning approach STEAM can increase the average value of students. This is based on the average grade of students drawing projects in cycle 1 of 33.04, Whereas in cycle 2 it was 69.80 and the average students score in cycle 3 was 76.42.
