Abstract

Materi-materi pembelajaran yang abstrak dan sulit dimengerti oleh peserta didik memerlukan media pembelajaran, yakni dengan multimedia interaktif yang menyajikan materi abstrak secara konkrit. Tujuan penelitian pada artikel ini adalah untuk menguji validitas, praktikalitas, dan efektifitas multimedia interaktif pada pembelajaran Menganalisis Rangkaian Listrik (MRL). Jenis penelitian yang diimplementasikan adalah penelitian pengembangan 4D, yang terdiri dari 4 tahap yakni: Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Validitas multimedia interaktif diuji oleh tiga validator, sedangkan 31 responden untuk menentukan praktikalitasnya. Uji efektifitas dilakukan untuk menentukan ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal setelah penggunaan media, dengan melakukan posttest. Penelitian ini menghasilkan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif untuk pembelajaran MRL yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Rata-rata validitas adalah 90,10% dengan kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji praktikalitas dengan tingkat kepraktisan secara keseluruhan sebesar 88,37%, dengan kategori praktis. Efektivitas penggunaan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif diperoleh dari tingkat ketuntasan klasikal siswa yaitu 89,65%. Dengan demikian, multimedia interaktif yang dikembangkan sudah dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran Menganalisis Rangkaian Listrik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan tes summatif yang valid, akurat, dan fleksibel yang dapat mengukur kemampuan peseta didik dengan menggunakan learning management system pada mata kuliah pengantar coding di Unversitas Negeri Padang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model pengembangan 4D yaitu define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian, pengujian validitas tes summatif oleh 3 orang validator yaitu dosen yang mengajar mata kuliah pengantar coding. Validator pertama dengan persentase kevalidan 86,2%, validator kedua dengan persentase kevalidan 80%, dan validator ketiga dengan persentase kevalidan 77%, dengan rata-rata kevalidan 81,067% yang berkategori sangat valid. Dengan demikian penelitian ini telah menghasilkan tes summatif yang valid, akurat, dan fleksibel pada mata kuliah Pengantar Coding di Universitas Negeri Padang.

Abstract

Many learning activities still need to run optimally due to the need for supporting teaching materials. It has an impact on low student learning motivation. The research objective is to produce a valid and practical Android application-based E-module. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4-D (Four D) development model. In this study, there were two validators, namely material and media validators. The methods used to collect data are observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The techniques used to analyze the data are descriptive qualitative analysis, quantitative, and gain score test. The research results are the results of the questionnaire analysis from the validator, obtaining an average value of 0.89, categorized as valid. The practicality questionnaire was filled in by lecturers and students who, after being analyzed, obtained an average score of 88%, which was categorized as very practical. The effectiveness test was carried out based on the KKM scores obtained by students; namely, the score above the KKM was 86%, and the gain score was 0.64, so the E-module being developed can be said to be effective. It was concluded that E-modules based on android applications on electricity and electronics are appropriate to use because they can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penggunaan alkohol sebagai pelarut pada parfum menimbulkan perdebatan tentang kehalalan produk parfum dalam agama islam. Sebagian masyarakat Muslim yang lain menganggap bahwa parfum beralkohol halal dipakai jika kadar alkoholnya tidak terlalu tinggi dan tidak mengganggu kesehatan pemakainya dan juga orang-orang di sekitar yang mencium aroma wangi parfum tersebut. Tujuan pembuatan tugas akhir ini adalah membuat alat ukur yang dapat mendeteksi persentase alkohol pada parfum menggunakan sensor MQ3 untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam pemilihan parfum sesuai kadar alkohol yang diinginkan. Alat ini dirancang dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino yang dapat memonitoring kadar alcohol dalam parfum dan menampilkan persentasenya melalui LCD Oled serta memberikan informasi berupa suara melalui speaker. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah telah dibuat alat yang dapat mendeteksi kadar alcohol pada parfum untuk mempermudah pengguna dalam pemilihan parfum sesuai kadar alcohol yang diinginkan. Sensor MQ-3 sebagai pendeteksi kadar alcohol berupa data ADC yang telah dikategorikan nilainya berdasarkan 4 kategori yaitu kadar alcohol rendah, sedang, tinggi, dan tidak ada.

Abstract

Sistem keamanan ruangan adalah suatu grup atau komponen yang memberikan rasa bebas dari bahaya, tidak merasa takut, resah atau gelisah terhadap barang berharga yang ditinggalkan dalam rentang ruang lingkup tertentu. Penggunaan kunci konvensional memiliki kelemahan seperti kunci mudah dibobol, mudah ditiru, serta keamanan ruangan tidak dapat dipantau dari jarak jauh. Maka dalam penelitian ini dibuat sistem keamanan ruangan menggunakan E-ktp sebagai RFID tag dan keypad untuk memasukkan kata sandi, serta menggunakan IoT untuk monitoring dan kontrol ruangan dari jarak jauh. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan Arduino Mega2560 sebagai pusat kendali, RFID MFRC-522 sebagai RFID reader dan NodeMCU ESP8266 untuk menghubungkan sistem dengan platform Thinger.io. Software yang digunakan untuk membuat sistem keamanan ruangan ini secara keseluruhan yaitu Arduino IDE serta thinger.io berbasis web. Hasil penelitian didapat dari pengujian alat yang dibagi menjadi tiga jenis, yaitu pengujian hardware, pengujian software, serta pengujian alat secara keseluruhan. Pada pengujian hardware didapatkan data pengujian tegangan kerja solenoid serta tegangan kerja komponen-komponen inti penyusun sistem keamanan ruangan ini. Pada pengujian software didapatkan data jarak baca E-KTP dengan RFID reader yaitu 0cm-1.8cm, serta waktu rata-rata koneksi NodeMCU ke jaringan internet dan koneksi NodeMCU ke thinger.io yaitu 5.5 detik dan 6.16 detik. Pada pengujian alat keseluruhan, alat berhasil membaca semua E-ktp yang telah diprogram dan berhasil mengirim data akses ke platform thinger.io, serta solenoid dapat dikontrol dari jarak jauh dengan waktu delay solenoid rata-rata yaitu 2.3 detik.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, the transformation of learning media has revolutionized the education system by providing innovative ways of material delivery and learner interaction with learning content. In particular, Augmented Reality (AR) technology has shown its potential to enrich the learning experience in an interactive and engaging way. The main objective of this research is to analyze the current learning conditions and evaluate the effectiveness of using AR as a learning medium. The methods used include interviews with lecturers and student needs surveys using questionnaires. Results from interviews and surveys indicated that many students have difficulty in understanding the material, and conventional learning media such as whiteboards and PowerPoint have not been effective enough in presenting complex concepts intuitively. The discussion of this research reveals that AR can be an important solution in clarifying the visualization of Electrical Circuit concepts, allowing students to virtually see and interact with complex circuit components. With AR, students can modify variables and immediately see the effect on the circuit, which deepens their understanding of the material being taught. It also supports independent learning outside the classroom, as AR can be accessed through personal devices such as smartphones. The conclusion of this study shows that the integration of AR in learning Electrical Circuits can improve students' understanding and interest in learning. Recommendations given based on this research are the development of more interactive and integrative AR-based learning content, accompanied by lecturer training to maximize the potential of this technology in education. The implementation of AR will not only improve the quality of learning but also prepare students with relevant skills for the future.

Abstract

This research aims to produce effective learning media to improve student learning outcomes in the Microsoft Sway-based electric lighting installation subject at SMK Negeri 5 Solok Selatan. The method used in this research is a quantitative approach with an experimental research type, the experimental research design used is the Pre-Experimental Design method, One Group Pretest-Posttest design type. The data in this research were obtained from the results of the instruments in the research, namely learning media validity instruments, test validity instruments, and non-test validity instruments. The media validity instrument is in the form of a validation sheet from the validator, and the test instrument is in the form of pretest and posttest questions which are tested for validity, reliability, difficulty of the questions, and the differentiability of the questions, while the non-test instrument is in the form of a rubric for assessing students' attitudes during the learning process. The data analysis techniques used in this research are normality test, homogeneity test, completeness of learning outcomes, and effect size. The results of this study show that the average pretest score is relatively low and the average posttest score is relatively high. From the calculations, the classical completeness score exceeds the minimum score, this shows that the use of Microsoft-based learning media is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Meanwhile, the Effect Size value was obtained in the large category. The conclusion in this research is that Microsoft Sway-based learning media is declared effective in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The problem in this study is that many students still have not mastered the skills of PLC-based control systems in accordance with the learning objectives. This is because the learning media is only a simulation using buttons and pilot lights without using the original components. The aims of this study is to examine and reveal the effectiveness of the outseal PLC-based PLC training kit in improving students' practical skills in PLC-based control systems. Pre-experiment one group pre-test and post-test is the research methodology used in this study, with a research sample of 32 students from the electrical power installation engineering department vocational school. The research data were collected using a skill assessment questionnaire and analyzed using paired sample t-test analysis technique and effect size test. The results revealed that the t-value obtained was 7.915 with a significance of 0.000 and a value of d = 1.701. These results show differences in students' skills after and before using the training kit that is applied and proven to improve student skills significantly. Thus, it is proven that this training kit effectively improves vocational students' skills. Based on these results, vocational high schools are expected to apply this training kit to facilitate learning and improve students' PLC-based control system skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this research project is to ascertain how the entrepreneurial-based managerial model that will be applied at SMK Negeri 5 Padang is seen by learners, educators, and administrators, as well as their expectations for how it will boost students' interest in business management. case study methodology combined with qualitative research. Data sources included learners, professionals, and administrator questionnaires at SMK Negeri 5 Padang as well as observation. It is thought that the entrepreneurship-based management approach can foster an environment in the classroom that encourages the growth of an entrepreneurial mindset. However, in order to increase student interest in entrepreneurship, dedication and support from all stakeholders—including better facilities—are required. Students' interest might be piqued in entrepreneurship by implementing a complete management model centered on entrepreneurship and bolstering infrastructure support.
