Abstract

STEM-based education, integrating Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, is pivotal in equipping students with essential skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving for the 21st century. This study explores the readiness of science teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah to implement STEM-based teaching approaches. A qualitative methodology employing case studies and phenomenological design was applied, with data collected through interviews and questionnaires. Triangulation methods ensured the validity of findings. The research indicated that while science teachers demonstrated strong affective readiness (80%) and satisfactory cognitive preparedness (70%), their practical readiness (60%) and access to external support (50%) remain areas needing attention. Challenges included limited professional training, insufficient facilities, and difficulties in seamlessly integrating STEM elements into daily teaching practices. Recommendations from this study include regular, comprehensive training programs, improved infrastructure and resource support, and a phased implementation approach allowing teachers to develop STEM-based projects aligned with their students' needs and classroom conditions. This study underscores the untapped potential of science teachers to significantly improve STEM-based education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, provided there is robust institutional support and collaboration among stakeholders. The insights gained offer a valuable foundation for crafting inclusive policies to enhance teacher competencies and elevate educational quality at the elementary level.

Abstract

Root-knot disease is a major disease that attacks tomato plants. This disease is caused by the Root-knot nematode (Meloidogyne spp.), which can lead to significant losses in tomato crops. Farmers commonly use synthetic nematicides to control these nematodes, but excessive use of chemical agents can have negative effects. Tamarind leaf is a potential alternative that can be used as a botanical nematicide to control the nematodes that cause root-knot disease in tomato plants because it contains various secondary metabolite compounds, such as flavonoids. This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of various concentrations of tamarind leaf aqueous extract in controlling Meloidogyne spp. nematodes. The experiment was carried out from May to July 2025 in the Plant Nematology Laboratory Division and Greenhouse of the Department of Plant Pests and Diseases, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran. The experiment used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with seven treatments and four replications, consisting of a control, tamarind leaf aqueous extract at 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10%, and carbofuran at 2g/tanamn. The results showed that the application of Tamarindus indica leaf water extract was effective in suppressing root-knot disease (Meloidogyne spp.) in tomato plants. T. indica leaf water extract at a concentration of 6% can suppress the number of galls on tomato plant roots by up to 64.91% and can suppress the number of second juvenile (J2) Meloidogyne spp. in 100 ml of soil by up to 71.18%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and provide empirical evidence of strategies for optimizing teacher performance from the aspects of work discipline, education and training, competency and motivation at State Junior High School 2 Musuk, Boyolali Regency. The population in this study were 40 teachers at State Middle School 2 Musuk, Boyolali Regency. The sampling technique used saturated sampling or census, so the number of samples in this study was 40 teachers at State Junior High School 2 Musuk, Boyolali Regency. The analysis techniques in this research are multiple linear regression path analysis, instrument tests, linearity tests and hypothesis tests which include multiple linear regression, simultaneous test (F test), partial test (t test), coefficient of determination and path analysis. The results of the t test for the first equation show that the work discipline and competency variables have a significant effect on motivation. Training education has no significant effect on motivation. The results of the t test for the second equation show that the work discipline and competency variables have a significant effect on teacher performance. Educational training and motivation have no significant effect on teacher performance. The results of the F test in the second equation show that the value of F = 33.549 is significant 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that together the variables of work discipline, education, training, competence and motivation influence performance. The results of the total R2 value of 0.946 can be interpreted as variations in teacher performance at State Junior High School 2 Musuk, Boyolali Regency, explained by the variables of work discipline, education, training, competency and motivation at 94.6% and the remaining 5.4% is explained by other variables outside the research model as examples of organizational culture, organizational commitment and work environment. The results of path analysis show that the competency variable is an effective path to improving performance, the use of motivation variables as an intervening variable is not effective, but the direct influence of work discipline, education and training and competency variables is greater than the indirect influence.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the influence of competence, communication and compensation on job satisfaction and teacher performance at SMKN 1 Miri Sragen. The research method used is a quantitative method. The population in this study was 100 teachers and the sample was 80 teachers. The research object is job satisfaction and teacher performance. All variables are measured using a Likert scale. The type of data used is primary data. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression. The determination results show a total R2 value of 0.594, meaning that teacher performance is explained by Competence, Communication, Compensation and Job Satisfaction at 59.4% and the remaining 40.6% is explained by other variables outside the research model. The results of multiple regression analysis show that simultaneously (F Test) it is concluded that the variables of competence, communication, compensation and job satisfaction have an significant influence on teacher performance. The results of the path analysis prove that the direct path or direct influence of competence on teacher performance in the SMK Negeri 1 Miri Sragen Regency is the most dominant and effective path among other variables and influences, because it has a positive and significant effect in improving teacher performance by a significant 0.375. Then job satisfaction has an significant effect on teacher performance with a significant coefficient of 0.225. The mediating role of job satisfaction in the analysis of this research model is able to mediate communication and compensation, but is not able to mediate competence on teacher performance in the SMK Negeri 1 Miri Sragen Regency environment.

Abstract

At both the secondary and tertiary education level, Indonesia's low research ability is a sign which prospective teachers have not demonstrated the best research abilities. The purpose of this study was to identify skills in understanding research methodology for prospective teachers at islamic elementary school. The research method used is a case study using a qualitative approach. The data used are primary data and secondary data, primary data obtained through observation and interviews with 23 prospective teachers in class VI while secondary data researchers obtained from supporting reference documents in the form of relevant articles and books. Data validation is in the form of data triangulation with three classifications, namely analysis, interpretation and conclusion. The results of the findings of this study are the ability to observe problems that will be identified later. Achievement with this indicator has not shown optimal achievement. The ability to interpret the problem with the formulation of the problem. The achievement of this indicator is not optimal. The ability to group variables to formulate hypotheses. The achievement of this indicator has shown optimal ability. The ability to take samples to make research designs, the achievement of this indicator has experienced optimal achievement. The ability to collect, analyze and compare data, the ability to collect and analyze data has been optimally achieved because it is supported by observational data such as the spontaneity of prospective teachers when given assignments or questions and answers in class regarding the indicators contained in this study while for the ability to observe problems , formulating problems and comparing data that has not been optimally achieved due to the lack of reading literature and the condition of prospective teachers who take part in online learning because there is a task of introducing school fields (PLP) outside the campus so that the understanding of prospective teachers is not optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk dan metode stakeholder engagement dalam Program CSR Mas Sopili (Masyarakat Sobokerto Peduli Waduk Cengklik) binaan PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT) Adi Sumarmo. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan teknik wawancara semi-terstruktur, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan model power/influence–interest grid serta kerangka Public Participation Spectrum dari The International Association for Public Participation (IAP2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keterlibatan stakeholder berjalan secara kolaboratif dan partisipatif. Kelompok masyarakat dan mitra swasta memiliki tingkat pengaruh dan kepentingan tinggi (Key Players), instansi pemerintah berperan sebagai Context Setters, sedangkan akademisi dan media termasuk Keep Informed. Metode yang digunakan meliputi forum perencanaan, koordinasi lintas instansi, pelatihan, riset kolaboratif, dan publikasi media dengan level collaborate hingga empower. Pendekatan ini memperkuat sinergi lintas sektor dan mendukung keberlanjutan program CSR. Penelitian ini berkontribusi dalam pengembangan kajian stakeholder engagement berbasis kolaborasi multipihak di bidang energi dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis potensi pemanfaatan limbah pertanian sebagai bahan baku eko-biomassa untuk mendukung pengembangan desa ramah lingkungan di pedesaan Aceh Utara. Permasalahan utama yang diangkat adalah tingginya volume limbah pertanian, seperti jerami, sekam padi, dan batang jagung, yang belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal sehingga mengakibatkan pencemaran lingkungan dan hilangnya potensi ekonomi masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan masyarakat dan perangkat desa, serta dokumentasi kegiatan pengolahan limbah pertanian. Analisis data dilakukan secara induktif melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa eko-biomassa yang diolah dari limbah pertanian dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi lingkungan dan perekonomian masyarakat. Secara ekologis, pemanfaatan limbah menjadi biomassa dapat mengurangi emisi karbon dan mencegah pencemaran akibat pembakaran terbuka. Secara ekonomi, kegiatan ini meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat melalui produksi dan distribusi briket biomassa bernilai tinggi. Lebih lanjut, pelaksanaan program eko-biomassa juga meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pelestarian lingkungan dan kemandirian energi desa. Dengan demikian, studi ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan eko-biomassa dari limbah pertanian merupakan solusi inovatif dan berkelanjutan untuk menciptakan desa ramah lingkungan. Program ini dapat dijadikan model pemberdayaan masyarakat berbasis prinsip ekonomi hijau dan partisipasi lokal. Rekomendasi penelitian ini mendorong pemerintah daerah dan lembaga pendidikan untuk memperluas pelatihan dan sosialisasi teknologi pengolahan limbah pertanian guna mencapai manfaat yang lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

In line with the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, science learning is expected to foster students’ life-long learning skills through approaches that integrate well-being principles. However, learning on the topic of plant growth and development often remains theoretical and less meaningful for students. This study aimed to develop and examine the effectiveness of well-being–based learning devices in enhancing students’ life-long learning skills, specifically complex thinking, information processing, collaboration, communication, and habits of mind. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model. The implementation phase applied a pretest–posttest control group design involving 64 ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Pucakwangi in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through life-long learning skills tests, questionnaires, observations, and interviews. Instrument validity and reliability were tested prior to implementation. The experimental class showed an increase in mean scores from 60.59 to 77.28, with an N-Gain of 0.56 (moderate category). In contrast, the control class showed a slight, non-significant improvement (57 to 60; p > 0.05). Statistical analysis confirmed a significant improvement in the experimental group (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that well-being–based learning devices effectively enhance the specific measured indicators of students’ life-long learning skills.Abstrak. Sesuai dengan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka, pembelajaran sains diharapkan dapat mengembangkan keterampilan belajar seumur hidup siswa melalui pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip kesejahteraan. Namun, pembelajaran tentang pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tumbuhan seringkali masih bersifat teoretis dan kurang bermakna bagi siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kesejahteraan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan belajar seumur hidup siswa, khususnya pemikiran kompleks, pemrosesan informasi, kolaborasi, komunikasi, dan kebiasaan berpikir. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE. Fase implementasi menerapkan desain kelompok kontrol pretest–posttest yang melibatkan 64 siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Pucakwangi pada tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes keterampilan belajar seumur hidup, kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen diuji sebelum implementasi. Kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan skor rata-rata dari 60,59 menjadi 77,28, dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,56 (kategori moderat). Di sisi lain, kelompok kontrol menunjukkan peningkatan yang sedikit dan tidak signifikan (57 menjadi 60; p > 0,05). Analisis statistik mengonfirmasi peningkatan yang signifikan pada kelompok eksperimen (p < 0,05). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berbasis kesejahteraan secara efektif meningkatkan indikator-indikator spesifik keterampilan belajar sepanjang hayat siswa yang diukur.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze a unique phenomenon identified during an international community service activity in Malaysia, namely the refusal of cash payments in Indonesian rupiah and Singapore dollars in several souvenir shops, while digital payments based on QRIS were accepted. This phenomenon is noteworthy as it reflects a shift in cross-border transaction practices from conventional systems toward regionally integrated digital payment systems. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach through field observation and a literature review related to payment connectivity between Bank Indonesia and Bank Negara Malaysia. The analysis focuses on the implications of digital economy development for transaction efficiency and MSME empowerment. The findings indicate that cross-border QR code interoperability not only enhances transaction efficiency and convenience but also strengthens financial inclusion and ASEAN economic integration. These results suggest that payment digitalization has the potential to become a new model of technology-based economic integration in Southeast Asia. This study provides a contemporary perspective on the transformation of cross-border payment systems and opens further discussion on the future of the regional digital economy.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh reputasi, kedekatan emosional, dan persepsi keandalan terhadap niat beli jasa PT Pos Indonesia di Kabupaten Ngawi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, dan data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil uji parsial menunjukkan bahwa reputasi, kedekatan emosional, dan persepsi keandalan masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat beli jasa. Variabel reputasi terbukti memiliki pengaruh paling dominan, yang menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan dan citra positif PT Pos Indonesia masih menjadi faktor utama dalam mendorong niat pelanggan menggunakan jasa pengiriman. Persepsi keandalan juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap niat beli jasa, yang mengindikasikan bahwa konsistensi layanan serta kesesuaian antara janji dan realisasi layanan menjadi faktor penting dalam membangun keyakinan pelanggan. Sementara itu, kedekatan emosional meskipun memiliki pengaruh relatif lebih kecil dibandingkan variabel lainnya, tetap berperan signifikan dalam memengaruhi niat beli, terutama melalui rasa nyaman, aman, dan perasaan dipahami oleh penyedia jasa. Hasil uji simultan (uji F) menunjukkan bahwa reputasi, kedekatan emosional, dan persepsi keandalan secara bersama-sama berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat beli jasa PT Pos Indonesia. Nilai koefisien determinasi menunjukkan bahwa 68 persen variasi niat beli jasa dapat dijelaskan oleh ketiga variabel tersebut, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa reputasi, keandalan layanan, dan kedekatan emosional merupakan determinan penting dalam meningkatkan niat beli jasa PT Pos Indonesia.
