Abstract

Guidance and counseling teachers have an equal role in interests with subject teachers, both function in a complementary and closely related manner. The existence of guidance and counseling teachers/counselors is regulated in the National Education System Law (SPN) Chapter I Article 1 Paragraph 6. As educators, guidance and counseling teachers must also master 4 competencies according to Peremndiknas No.26 of 2009. So, by knowing this, guidance and counseling teachers can provide guidance and counseling services according to their duties, roles and responsibilities. After that, it can produce effective and efficient guidance and counseling management for schools and students. The purpose of this study was to determine the skills of guidance and counseling teachers in developing guidance and counseling management in schools. The method chosen was literature study. Literature study involves collecting data, reading and recording information, and managing research materials. The results of this study are that guidance and counseling has significant main tasks and functions in the implementation of education programs. In guidance and counseling services, BK teachers should carry out the duties, roles and responsibilities that have been determined based on the Law that has been stated.

Abstract

Early childhood education plays an important role as a basis for character formation and the development of children's knowledge, abilities and skills. One of the characters that influences the development of early childhood is independence. Independence is a behavior characterized by self-confidence, the ability to take the initiative, the ability to overcome problems or obstacles faced and do something independently without the help of others. Independence in everyday life means being able to stand alone without relying on others. However, in reality in the field, many early childhood children are still found to be not independent in doing something, this can be seen from the attitudes and behavior displayed by children in the form of children who find it difficult to adapt to the environment, have a rigid personality, children tend to be unconfident and unable to complete their life tasks well. So it is important to foster independence in children from an early age, by using the Montessori method which allows children to develop at their own pace. This method gives children the freedom to choose the activities they want, so they can learn and play according to their interests. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting a literature review on the application of the Montessori method in the formation of independent character in early childhood. Literature review conducted by researchers using publications from 2019-2024 which can be accessed in full text in pdf format and scholarly (peer reviewed journals) using google schoolar, so that 10 articles were found that had been screened according to the discussion of the article raised.

Abstract

Learning independence is the ability of students to learn independently, seeking information other than that provided by the teacher. However, many students are still found to be not independent in learning where students are still dependent on others, are not confident, have no enthusiasm and are not disciplined in learning. The behavior displayed because students are not yet independent requires the role of guidance and counseling teachers in overcoming this, namely by providing behavioral counseling. Behavioral counseling is the process of helping students solve interpersonal, emotional and decision-making problems, especially in learning independence. This counseling helps students in directing, planning, organizing and managing and controlling themselves in carrying out an activity, especially in learning, so that students can use their time as efficiently and effectively as possible. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting a literature review on behavioristic counseling to improve learning independence in students. The literature review conducted by researchers used publications from 2019-2024 which can be accessed in full text in pdf format and scholarly (peer reviewed journals) using google schoolar in the Mendelay application, so that 7 articles were found that had been screened according to the discussion of the article raised.

Abstract

. Extra-work behavior plays a crucial role in achieving organizational goals in educational institutions. This study examines the impact of organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on teacher performance at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Asy-Syafi'iyah Kendari City. Using a quantitative research approach, the study utilized both primary and secondary data sources. Data were collected through survey techniques by distributing questionnaires to 34 teachers. The research variables were measured using appropriate scales, and the collected data were analyzed through linear regression analysis. The findings indicate that OCB has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. The correlation coefficient results further confirm that OCB significantly influences performance, suggesting that teachers who exhibit high levels of extra-role behavior contribute more effectively to their institutions. Despite these contributions, this study has several limitations. First, the small sample size of 34 teachers may not fully represent the broader population, limiting the generalizability of the findings. Second, the study relies solely on self-reported data, which may introduce response bias. Third, the use of a cross-sectional design prevents the identification of long-term causal effects between OCB and teacher performance. Future research should consider a larger sample, multiple data sources, and a longitudinal approach to provide a more comprehensive understanding of OCB’s impact on teacher performance.

Abstract

Purpose – The peace and stability of society are seriously threatened by youth radicalization, particularly in educational environments. This study examines how critical thinking, inclusion, and active student involvement in Student-Centered Learning (SCL) can prevent radicalization in Islamic junior schools in Indonesia and Bangladesh. Through problem-solving and open communication, SCL exposes students to a variety of viewpoints and fosters critical thinking, which lessens their vulnerability to extremist beliefs. Design/methods/approach – Employing qualitative techniques, such as teacher and student interviews, the research delves into the distinct implementation obstacles of SCL in each nation. Findings – Results show that although SCL promotes respect for one another and critical thinking, its efficacy is limited by a systemic dependence on conventional techniques, a lack of resources, and inadequate teacher preparation.  Research implications/limitations – The study emphasizes how important it is to have resources, support at the policy level, and professional development in order to adequately utilize SCL as a deterrent to radicalization. For educational policymakers and groups seeking to establish safe and welcoming learning environments in Bangladesh, Indonesia, and other comparable countries, these findings provide insightful information.

Abstract

Teknologi informasi adalah suatu teknologi yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan informasi yang berkualitas berupa: informasi yang relevan, akurat dan tepat waktu. ChaGPT adalah teknologi Articial Intelligence yang dibuat oleh perusahaan laboratorium riset Bernama OpenAI. ChaGPT merupakan teknologi perangkat cerdas yang memakai metode deep learning yang mana mampu memberikan output yang serupa dengan manusia ketika mengartikan dan menanggapi bahasa alami. Tantangan pelajar dalam penggunaan ChatGPT yang berlebihan juga memberikan dampak negatif berupa: penurunan jiwa kompetisi, menurunnya kualitas dalam berpikir kritis, ketergantungan terhadap solusi yang cukup instans, menjadi tidak kreatif, hilangnya minat literasi membaca dari berbagai sumber referensi baik dari jurnal maupun buku serta maraknya pelajar yang copypaste dalam mengerjakan tugas. Maka penting untuk melihat penggunaan ChatGPT dalam penguasaan materi pembelajaran di sekolah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan tinjauan pustaka dalam rentang terbitan tahun 2020-2025 yang dapat diakses secara fulltext dalam format pdf dan ilmiah (peer reviewed journals) dengan menggunakan google schoolar, sehingga ditemukan sebanyak 5 artikel yang sudah disaring sesuai dengan pembahasan artikel yang diangkat tersebut.

Abstract

MSMEs play an important role in the Indonesian economy but often face challenges in maintaining customer satisfaction and loyalty. Optimal customer satisfaction not only impacts loyalty but also affects the efficiency of inventory management. This study aims to map the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty and its implications for inventory management in D'Shafa MSMEs using the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. This research method adopts a survey design with data collected through questionnaires distributed to customers of D'Shafa MSMEs. Data analysis was conducted using the SEM-PLS technique to examine the relationships between customer satisfaction, loyalty, and inventory management. The results indicate that customer satisfaction has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty. Additionally, customer loyalty positively impacts inventory management, with high loyalty driving efficiency in stock and demand management. These findings suggest that D'Shafa MSMEs should focus on improving customer satisfaction as a key strategy to enhance customer loyalty and optimize inventory management. This research contributes to understanding the dynamics of customer satisfaction and inventory management in the context of MSMEs and offers practical recommendations for more effective marketing and inventory management strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, business size, and institutional ownership on business value with capital structure as a moderating variable in food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2017 to 2020. Using purposive sampling, 48 companies were selected as the sample. Multiple regression analysis with IBM SPSS Statistics 25 was employed to analyze the data. The analysis unveiled that profitability affected business value. However, business size had no influence on business value, and institutional ownership did not significantly impact business value. Moreover, the capital structure could moderate profitability with business value but could not moderate business size and institutional ownership.

Abstract

Bunga Lestari MSME faces various challenges in agribusiness product marketing amidst increasingly fierce competition. This study aims to analyze the marketing challenges encountered by the MSME and formulate appropriate solutions to enhance its competitiveness. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, with data collection through direct observation and semi-structured interviews with relevant stakeholders. The results indicate that the main obstacles faced are the lack of utilization of digital media, limited market access, and minimal product innovation. These findings suggest the necessity for developing a more effective digital marketing strategy and product innovation to increase the competitiveness and sales volume of Bunga Lestari MSME in a competitive market. Thus, this study provides recommendations that can assist the MSME in addressing the existing marketing challenges.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran signifikan dalam perekonomian, terutama dalam meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dan menyerap tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis manajemen produksi pada industri pangan, khususnya usaha opak yang merupakan bagian dari UMKM. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi, melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung pada usaha opak Pak Doni yang telah beroperasi selama 50 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan bahan baku yang efisien, pengelolaan limbah, dan produktivitas tenaga kerja yang optimal merupakan faktor kunci dalam menjaga kualitas produk dan keberlanjutan usaha. Namun, tantangan utama yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan modal, kondisi cuaca yang tidak menentu, dan persaingan tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan beberapa langkah untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, seperti penggunaan pengering alternatif, pelatihan karyawan, dan strategi pengelolaan bahan baku yang lebih baik. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan UMKM di sektor pangan, khususnya industri tradisional seperti opak, sehingga dapat bersaing di pasar yang lebih luas.
