Abstract

The rapid development of digital media, especially the habit of watching short videos on platforms such as TikTok, has had a major impact on the way of learning in the world of education. This situation is a challenge, especially in maintaining and improving students' enthusiasm for learning in science subjects. This study aims to: (1) find out how often students are exposed to TikTok short videos; (2) analyze how such exposure relates to motivation to learn science; and (3) develop flexible science learning strategies to increase learning motivation in the era of high digital content consumption. This study uses a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach. Data was collected through questionnaires that contained questions about how often students use TikTok, how students view science learning, and students' levels of motivation to learn. It is hoped that the results of this study can illustrate the relationship between the habit of watching short videos and students' learning motivation, so that it can be used as a basis for developing science learning strategies that are more appropriate and relevant to current conditions

Abstract

The quality of learning in elementary schools depends heavily on four core teacher competencies: pedagogical, professional, social, and personality. This study aims to identify the specific role of each of these competencies in improving the quality of elementary education. It aims to analyze the role of teacher competencies—pedagogical, professional, social, and personality—in improving the quality of the learning process in elementary schools. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies in several public elementary schools. It was found that pedagogical competency enables teachers to design learning that is engaging, innovative, and relevant to student characteristics. Professional competency is reflected in mastery of material and the ability to select effective strategies and media. Meanwhile, social and personality competencies play a crucial role in creating harmonious interactions, building emotional closeness, and fostering a positive and conducive learning environment. The overall quality of learning has been shown to be significantly influenced by the integrated application of these four competencies. The quality of learning in elementary schools is significantly influenced by the full integration of teachers' pedagogical, professional, social, and personality competencies. Therefore, improving teacher professionalism through training, mentoring, and continuous evaluation is an essential step to advance the quality of elementary education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) No. 5 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for Examining Marriage Dispensation Applications and its impact on adolescent reproductive health in Sumenep Regency. The research employs a combination of normative and descriptive qualitative methods with a socio-legal approach. Data were collected through document studies, interviews, FGDs, and field observations, and analyzed using triangulation of sources and methods. The findings reveal that although PERMA No. 5/2019 emphasizes the principle of the best interests of the child, in practice, decisions are still largely influenced by social, cultural, and economic factors. As a result, adolescents who marry early are exposed to reproductive health risks such as anemia, pregnancy complications, and stunting in children. This study highlights the urgent need for synergy between the judiciary, health sector, educational institutions, and village communities to reduce the prevalence of child marriage.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) indicators and company size on green investment, with profitability as a mediating variable, in companies listed on the IDX ESG Index for the 2022-2024 period. Based on sustainable economic theory, companies must balance economic objectives with social and environmental responsibilities to achieve long-term growth. The approach used is quantitative, with an explanatory method utilizing secondary data in the form of annual reports, sustainability reports and ESG indicators. The research sample consisted of 70 companies selected by purposive sampling, and data analysis was conducted using path analysis based on panel data regression using Eviews. The results of this study are expected to show that ESG indicators and company size have a positive impact on profitability and green investment, with profitability mediating the relationship. These findings contribute to strengthening the green finance literature and provide practical implications for companies in optimizing economic sustainability strategies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pontianak City, as the capital of West Kalimantan Province, possesses significant tourism potential, evidenced by a substantial increase in the number of international tourists visiting West Kalimantan. The Pontianak City Government has developed a waterfront area along the Kapuas River to strengthen the city's image and create a new destination; however, it still requires supporting tourism facilities to sustain the productivity of the accommodation service industry. The design methodology was conducted through the collection of both primary and secondary data, which were subsequently analyzed using hotel design theories and neo-vernacular architectural principles. The design results demonstrate that the Four-Star Hotel, designed with seven floors and multiple room types, is capable of providing accommodation, relaxation facilities, recreation, and business meeting spaces that capitalize on the river orientation. The design integrates a Neo-Vernacular approach, combining traditional architectural characteristics with modern technology, including a curved roofline, swimming pool, and landscaped garden positioned near the river as a transitional area toward the waterfront, thus creating an optimal visitor experience along the Kapuas River banks.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the importance of innovative learning media to overcome student boredom due to monotonous material in the Tourism Destination course at the Lampung State Polytechnic. The focus of the problem is the design of interactive learning videos to improve understanding and learning motivation. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method through the ADDIE model which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The quantitative validation results show that the media is categorized as very feasible with a percentage of assessments from media experts of 86.9% and material experts reaching 88%. The implementation stage in the classroom proved a significant increase in student learning outcomes, as seen from the comparison of pre-test and post-test scores that showed progress after the use of the video. Through a systematic process, technical obstacles such as audio noise and software limitations were successfully overcome to produce an educational product. The main conclusion of the study confirms that creating learning videos with the ADDIE model effectively transforms the delivery of theoretical material to be more interactive and adaptive to technological developments. This media not only facilitates various student learning styles but also becomes a strategic solution in enriching digital teaching materials in the tourism sector. Thus, the integration of technology in the higher education curriculum can provide a real contribution to the achievement of students' academic achievements in a sustainable and professional manner in the future. ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya media pembelajaran inovatif untuk mengatasi kejenuhan mahasiswa akibat materi yang monoton pada mata kuliah Destinasi Pariwisata di Politeknik Negeri Lampung. Fokus masalah adalah perancangan video pembelajaran interaktif guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) melalui model ADDIE yang mencakup tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, serta evaluasi. Hasil validasi secara kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa media tersebut dikategorikan sangat layak dengan persentase penilaian dari ahli media sebesar 86,9% dan ahli materi mencapai 88%. Tahap implementasi di kelas membuktikan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa yang signifikan, terlihat dari perbandingan nilai pre-test dan post-test yang menunjukkan kemajuan setelah penggunaan video tersebut. Melalui proses sistematis, kendala teknis seperti kebisingan audio dan keterbatasan perangkat lunak berhasil diatasi demi menghasilkan produk yang edukatif. Simpulan utama penelitian menegaskan bahwa pembuatan video pembelajaran dengan model ADDIE efektif mentransformasi penyampaian materi teoritis menjadi lebih interaktif dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Media ini tidak hanya memfasilitasi berbagai gaya belajar mahasiswa tetapi juga menjadi solusi strategis dalam memperkaya bahan ajar digital di sektor pariwisata. Dengan demikian, integrasi teknologi dalam kurikulum pendidikan tinggi mampu memberikan kontribusi nyata bagi pencapaian prestasi akademik mahasiswa secara berkelanjutan dan profesional di masa depan nanti.

Abstract

The course on Fares and Travel Documents is a core course in vocational tourism education that equips students with ticket reservation and travel document management skills in line with the needs of the travel agency industry. However, the conventional learning process has resulted in suboptimal student engagement and understanding of technical material. This study aims to develop an interactive teaching module as a learning innovation to improve the effectiveness of the learning process in the Fare and Passage Documents course. This study uses a teaching material development approach through the stages of needs analysis, Semester Learning Plan analysis, outline design, interactive content development, and validation through discussions with lecturers. The results show that the developed interactive module has a feasibility level of 83% in material expert validation and 83% in module/media expert validation with a feasible category after revision. The interactive module is declared feasible for use as teaching material to support student independent learning, improve material accessibility, and assist lecturers in delivering material in a structured manner. ABSTRAK Mata kuliah Tarif dan Dokumen Pasasi merupakan mata kuliah inti dalam pendidikan vokasi perjalanan wisata yang berperan dalam membekali mahasiswa dengan kompetensi reservasi tiket dan pengelolaan dokumen perjalanan sesuai kebutuhan industri biro perjalanan. Namun, proses pembelajaran yang masih bersifat konvensional menyebabkan keterlibatan mahasiswa dan pemahaman materi teknis belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul ajar interaktif sebagai inovasi pembelajaran guna meningkatkan efektivitas proses pembelajaran pada matakulia Tarif dan Dokumen Pasasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pengembangan bahan ajar melalui tahapan análisis kebutuhan, análisis Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS), perancangan outline, penyusunan konten interaktif, serta validasi melalui diskusi dengan dosen pengampu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul interaktif yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat kelayakan sebesar 83% pada validasi ahli materi dan 83% pada validasi ahli modul/media dengan kategori layak setelah revisi. Modul interaktif dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai bahan ajar untuk mendukung pembelajaran mandiri mahasiswa, meningkatkan aksesibilitas materi, serta membantu dosen dalam menyampaikan materi secara terstruktur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan model Problem-Based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif yang dilaksanakan di SDN Karangharjo 01 pada bulan Januari hingga Maret 2026. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan informan yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model PBL mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa, khususnya pada aspek menganalisis, berargumentasi, dan menarik kesimpulan. Strategi guru dalam mengimplementasikan PBL dilakukan melalui tahapan pemberian masalah nyata, pembentukan kelompok diskusi, analisis masalah, pemberian arahan, dan presentasi hasil. Penerapan strategi tersebut mendorong siswa menjadi lebih aktif, percaya diri, serta mampu menyampaikan ide secara logis dan sistematis. Selain itu, ditemukan faktor pendukung berupa dukungan sekolah dan antusiasme siswa, serta hambatan berupa keterbatasan waktu, perbedaan kemampuan siswa, dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri sebagian siswa. Dengan demikian, model PBL terbukti efektif sebagai alternatif pembelajaran yang berpusat pada siswa untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam pembelajaran IPA di Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Purpose – The purpose of this study is to analyze the performance of green banking in Islamic banking in Indonesia and Malaysia based on the maqasid shariah framework. Method – This study is a quantitative study. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, resulting in a sample size of 21 banks, comprising 11 Indonesian Islamic banks and 10 Malaysian Islamic banks. The data source used is secondary data in the form of annual financial reports of Islamic banks from 2022 to 2024. The data analysis technique uses the Maqashid Syariah Index approach and the Simple Additive Weighting method. The difference in performance between the two countries is tested with an independent sample T-Test using SPSS analysis tools. Findings – The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference between the green banking performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia based on the maqasid shariah index. Implications – This study can provide insights and contribute to the literature on green finance performance based on the maqasid sharia framework, particularly in the banking sector in Indonesia and Malaysia. This study can serve as a guide for Islamic banks in Indonesia and Malaysia to understand the extent to which green banking performance contributes to achieving sustainability and social welfare goals and provide recommendations for improving green finance.

Abstract

This study aims to test the effectiveness of Holland career counseling to improve the career maturity of students at the Faith-Based Educational School in Pamekasan. The study design used was an experiment involving as many as 7 students was selected by purposive random sampling. Instruments used in this study were Career Maturity Inventory (CMI)-Form C. The results showed Holland career counseling effective to improve the career maturity of students. This study provides clarification on the effectiveness of handling the career maturity of students with Holland career counseling.
