This study is motivated by the role of parents' level of education in guiding and directing their children in the learning process, especially in student learning disciplines. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence between the level of parental education on the learning discipline of PPKn FKIP Riau University students. This research uses quantitative research methods carried out in the PPKn FKIP study program at Riau University with data collection methods using questionnaires and statistical data analysis using SPSS Version 20. Based on the findings from data analysis, the hypothesis test has a calculated f value f table, this shows the alternative hypothesis in this study was rejected. The coefficient of determination value in this study was obtained at 0.006, so it can be concluded that the influence of the parental education level variable on the student learning discipline variable was 0.6%, while the other 99.4% (100% - 0.6%) was influenced by other factors. others not examined in this study.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran SMA IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru terkhususnya pada kelas X yaitu rendahnya motivasi belajar siswa. Hal ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor diantaranya model/metode pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah berupa penyampai materi dan siswa hanya sebagai pendengar. Sehingga kesulitian dalam pemahaman materi ketika belajar. Ketidak mampuan siswa dalam memahami dengan baik apa yang di ajarkan oleh guru menimbulkan hambatan dalam proses pembelajaran hal ini, dapat menurunkan motivasi belajar siswa, maka dari itu peneliti tertarik untuk meneliti agar dapat mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru. Salah satu langkah rumusan masalah dalam penenelitian adalah apakah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran project based learning. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru dengan total 64 siswa. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 43 siswa, yang terbagi dua kelas yaitu kelas X Bilingual dan X Multimedia, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu observasi, kuesioner (angket). Pengolahan data dengan analisis statistik dengan rumus uji t yaitu Independent Sample T-test dengan perolehan nilai sig. (2 – tailed) = 0,004 pada taraf signifikan 5% atau 0,004 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya model pembelajaran project based learning berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas X SMA IT Fadhilah Pekanbaru dengan memperoleh nilai rata-rata 98,8% dikelas eksperimen dan rata-rata 100% dikelas kontrol.

This paper documents the influence of the quality of financial accounting learning on financial literacy and its impact on financial self-efficacy. The research uses quantitative descriptive methods through simple linear regression analysis techniques. The research was carried out at the Vocational School of Labor under FKIP, Riau University in the Accounting and Finance Skills Department Program. The population used in this research were students with competency skills in accounting and financial institutions, namely, classes XI and XII in the academic year 2021/2022, all of whom were 90 students studied (census). The research results show that the quality of financial accounting learning influences the financial literacy of students at the Vocational School of Labor under the guidance of FKIP, Riau University. Financial literacy influences students' financial self-efficacy. Quality learning will help in understanding, assessing, and acting in managing students' finances and financial self-efficacy

Biomass energy, which comes from plants, is used as a heating source in fish processing. This community service activity is focused on the smoked fish processing industry in Air Dingin Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru, with the aim of analyzing the optimal use of biomass energy. The main source of energy is the rambutan tree trunk, which gives a distinctive aroma to smoked fish. The method used is direct training to apply new techniques in this industry, with raw materials of patin fish (30 kg) and catfish (40 kg). The smoking process takes 24 hours, producing efficient and high-quality smoked fish, seen from its bright color and fragrant aroma. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) aims to improve the quality and quantity of production of the UKM MINA SALAI KUARAN business group. It is hoped that the quantity of production will increase by 50%, while the social aspects of the community are strengthened through online marketing using social media such as Twitter and Facebook. Thus, this business has the potential to become more independent and improve the welfare of the local community.

The background to this research is because SMA Negeri 1 Pangean tends to learn conventionally, students are not given a learning experience, they are not trained in critical reasoning skills. So, when faced with a problem related to a learning topic, students experience difficulty in obtaining information and ideas, difficulty in analyzing and reasoning about information, and difficulty in concluding and conveying information clearly and systematically. Therefore, the lack of critical reasoning skills of students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangean deserves to be followed up and steps are needed to respond to and overcome the problems faced by students. One step that can be taken is to learn using the Active Debate method. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the active debate method on the critical reasoning abilities of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangean. The population in this study were class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangean with a total of 105 students. The sample in this study consisted of 70 students, who were divided into two classes, namely classes XI A and XI B. The data collection methods used in this research were observation, questionnaires. Data processing using statistical analysis using the t test formula, namely the Independent Sample T-test with a value of Sig.(2-tailed)=0.000 at a significance level of 5% or 0.0000.05, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that the active debate method influences the critical reasoning abilities of class XI students at SMA Negeri 1 Pangean by obtaining an average score of 100% in the experimental class and an average of 90.32% in the control class.

This research was motivated by the low critical thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 01 Hulu Kuantan. This is caused by the conventional learning model which is often realized in the form of one-way lectures in the form of delivering material with students only as recipients of information. Therefore, to improve students' critical thinking abilities, a new learning model is used, namely, the inquiry learning model. The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking abilities at SMP Negeri 01 Hulu Kuantan. The population in this study was class VIII of SMP Negeri 01 Hulu Kuantan with a total of 44 students. The sample in this study consisted of 44 students who were divided into two classes, namely class VIII A and class VIII B. The data collection methods used in this research were observation and questionnaires. Data processing using statistical analysis using the t test formula, namely obtaining a Sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.000, then Sig. (2-tailed) ≤ significant. So, 0.000 ≤ 0.05 which means the Sig value. (2-tailed) is smaller than the significance value of 5%, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that the inquiry learning model influences the critical thinking skills of class VIII SMP Negeri 01 Hulu Kuantan by obtaining an average of 74.6% in the control class and an average of 93.6% in the experimental class.

This research aims to find out whether there is a relationship between parental attention and the learning achievement of class XI students at MA AL-Hidayah Singingi Hilir. This research is research using associative quantitative methods with causal relationships and producing statistical data. The population in this study consisted of 63 Class XI students. The data collection instruments used were interviews, questionnaires and documentation, data processing using the IBM SPSS Version 22 application. Analysis of this research used the prerequisite test, normality test, linearity test and product moment correlation test. The results of the product moment correlation test using IBM SPSS 22 show a Pearson correlation (r) value of 0.650. Meanwhile, from the hypothesis results obtained rcount rtable or 0.650 0.244, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be concluded that there is a relationship between the parental attention variable and the learning achievement variable for class XI MA ALHidayah Singingi Hilir students

Students with difficulty in comprehending conceptual materialsneed media that has powers in organizational, procedural visual, andsupporting creative thinking; all are integrated in a mind-mapping media.This research is aimed to develop a learning design of Introduction toManagement based on mind-mapping media concerning with conceptualmaterials. This is an early phase of research and development activities, inIntroduction to Management class. Data of needs analysis is obtainedthrough survey technique on 38 college students, then followed by literaturestudy and focus group discussions. The result shows that a learning designof Introduction to Management, that highlights conceptual materials, hasconstructed on the basis of mind-mapping media. The design consisted oflearning outcome, stages of preparing mind mapping media, andmeasurement method of effectiveness of the learning designimplementation.

The National Examination is conducted to test the ability of students during the education process. However the average national exam results of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1Pekanbaru starting from 2015-2018 always decrease. This phenomenon can not be separated from factors that affect learning achievement. This study aims to analyze thefactors that influence concentration and critical thinking on student learning achievement both direct influence and indirect influence on economic subjects in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pekanbaru (MAN 1 Pekanbaru). The population in this study were 125 students of IIS class XI. Sampling technique used was simple random sampling obtained by 95 students. Data collection uses a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The results showed that: (1) the non-physical school environment had an effect on learning achievement directly by 24.2% and indirectly had an effect of 12%. (2) learning interest influences learning achievement directly by 27.1% and indirectly by 8.8%. (3) learning concentration directly affects learning achievement by 19.5%. (4) critical thinking directly influences learning achievement by 27.3%. In general, critical thinking can affect the learning achievement.

The low interest of students choosing social studies majors (IPS) at the National High School is thought to be a problem that originates from within students and outside the student's self. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence students' interest in choosing a social studies major at SMA 2 Tambang, in Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPS, amounting to 170 people. The sample was determined using propotional random sampling to obtain 119 people. The data analysis technique used is Path Analysis. The results of the analysis show that the family environment and school environment have a positive and significant effect on the ideals of choosing an IPS major. School ideals and environment have a positive and significant effect on the interest in choosing an IPS major. While the family environment has a significant effect on the interest in choosing an IPS major. However, there is a negative influence of the family environment on the interest of students choosing social studies majors, due to the low level of family education. Therefore parents are expected to be able to provide support so that their children are more interested in choosing social studies majors. The school is expected to further improve socialization to add information and provide an overview to students about social studies majors.
