Abstract

The main challenge in mathematics learning at the elementary school level, particularly in the topic of flat shapes, is often related to students' low interest in mathematics, which is perceived as abstract and difficult to understand. The purpose of this study is to analyze the improvement of learning outcomes through a Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in the topic of flat shapes in grade 2 at SDN Uteran 01. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) in two cycles, with a total of 8 students participating in the study. Data collection techniques include tests, and the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach, using examples of traditional foods such as wajik , onde-onde jenang, lapis, klepon in the mathematics lesson on flat shapes, has proven effective in improving students' learning outcomes. This is evidenced by the improvement in learning outcomes, where in cycle 1, most students achieved very poor results, but in cycle 2, the majority of students achieved good results.

Abstract

This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class V students in science subjects by applying the Experiential Learning method on food chain material. The method used in the research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with an Experiential Learning learning design. The research respondents were 12 class V students at SDN Uteran 01 with research instruments in the form of observation sheets to measure student learning outcomes. The research procedure consists of pre-cycle, cycle one and cycle two stages. At the pre-cycle stage, an initial evaluation is carried out in the form of a pre-test to measure student understanding before implementing the Experiential Learning approach. Furthermore, in cycles one and two, an evaluation was carried out in the form of a post test to measure the extent of students' level of understanding after following learning using the Experiential Learning approach. The results showed that at the pre-cycle stage there were 2 students (17%) who achieved a completeness score, this increased in cycle one to 8 students (67%) and again there was an increase in cycle two, namely reaching 10 students (83%) with a score completeness meets the criteria. So it is concluded that the application of Experiential Learning in learning food chains in science subjects significantly improves student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to improve science learning outcomes through the PBL model with solar system diorama media for sixth grade students of SDN 02 Winongo, Madiun City. This study is a classroom action research (CAR) conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects in this study were 9 sixth grade students. The results of the study showed that at the pre-action stage, the average student score was only 62.22 and the percentage of completion was only 44.44%. At the cycle 1 stage, the average student score increased to 72.22. The percentage of learning completion in students also increased to 88.88%. At the cycle 2 stage, the results of reflection and evaluation showed that the average student score also increased again, namely an average score of 85 and the percentage of completion had reached 100%.

Abstract

Classroom action research generally aims to improve the quality of learning for class IV students at SDN Uteran 01. In particular, it aims to: (1) Describe the implementation of integrated STEAM and Computational Thinking style learning based on local wisdom; and (2) Knowing the extent of understanding of the concept of integrated friction force in STEAM and Computational Thinking based on local wisdom. The research was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. Cycle I consists of two meetings, as does Cycle II. The data analysis techniques used are descriptive and comparative. Student activity data is explored using the Student Activity Observation Sheet, while data on student learning outcomes is explored using concept understanding tests. The results of the research showed that: (1) The average percentage of students' conceptual understanding of friction material at the pre-cycle stage was 30% (less understanding); (2) The average percentage of students' conceptual understanding of friction material increased by 65% (misconceptions) after implementing the integration of STEAM and CT based on local wisdom (gasing); and (3) After carrying out reflection in cycle I, cycle II was carried out with the result that the average percentage of students' concept understanding increased by 85% (concept understanding).

Abstract

This study aims to improve the English learning outcomes of fifth-grade students of SDN Uteran 01 Madiun through the implementation of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach using the traditional game engklek. The research employs a classroom action research method conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of the stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The results show that the application of CRT through the engklek game successfully enhanced students’ learning outcomes, as evidenced by an increase in the average student scores that exceeded the Learning Achievement Criteria (KKTP). Furthermore, student motivation and engagement in the learning process also significantly improved. Thus, this approach can be an effective alternative for more contextual and meaningful English learning.

Abstract

This development research has the aim of developing IPAS teaching materials based on the Gocar Model to be feasible and in accordance with the needs of students. The Gocar model is used because it contains activities that involve students, both in terms of activeness and problem-solving challenges. The development model uses ADDIE, the analysis stage includes analyzing the curriculum, needs and characteristics of students, using interviews, observations and questionnaires. The design stage presents a structured and attractive teaching material design according to student needs, including activities interactively, contextually and according to the learning style of students. The results of the validation of material, language and media experts show in the valid group (Aiken's average of 0.82.). The results of implementation were limited to class IV SD N KlagenSerut while the response of teachers and students was very good, seen from the learning outcomes of 77% above KKM. And the evaluation results state that Gocar-based IPAS teaching materials are effectively used in learning.

Abstract

Microsoft Sway media is a presentation tool created and played online on the sway.com page. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Microsoft 365: sway media on students' digital literacy in online learning in the era of society 5.0. This research is a quasi-experimental design (quasi-experiment). The form of this research design is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were students of the University of PGRI Madiun. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling technique. The sample is 60 students in the experimental class and 60 in the control class. The types of instruments used in this research are essays and response questionnaires. Hypothesis testing in this study uses a t-test. The results showed that the Microsoft 365: sway media, applied in the experimental class, was very effective for students' digital literacy.

Abstract

Workshop penyusunan instrumen asesmen di SDN Pangongangan, Kota Madiun, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang alat evaluasi pembelajaran yang efektif, valid, dan sesuai dengan kurikulum. Permasalahan yang dihadapi mitra meliputi keterbatasan pemahaman terhadap prinsip asesmen, kesulitan menyusun instrumen yang sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar, serta minimnya variasi jenis asesmen. Metode yang digunakan dalam workshop mencakup ceramah interaktif, studi kasus, praktik penyusunan, dan simulasi. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah guru mampu menyusun instrumen asesmen yang valid, reliabel, serta relevan dengan kebutuhan siswa. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendorong guru untuk menerapkan asesmen berbasis teknologi dan kolaborasi dalam kelompok kerja. Keberlanjutan pelatihan dan pendampingan pasca-workshop diusulkan untuk memperkuat implementasi hasil pelatihan di kelas.

Abstract

This study intends to comprehensively describe social studies learning with a Deep Learning approach, as well as to know its role as an effort to strengthen students' thinking skills. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through observation, teacher and student interviews, and documentation review. The research subjects involved one social studies teacher as a key informant, as well as eight social studies grade IV students at Maospati Elementary School in Magetan who were selected purposively based on active involvement in learning and adequate communication skills. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and triangulation techniques to ensure the validity of research findings. The results of the study show that learning strategies emphasize discussion, problem solving, and reflection which significantly improve students' critical thinking skills. Obstacles experienced by teachers in learning include limited time, variations in students' abilities, and lack of relevant supporting learning resources. However, the application of the Deep Learning approach still shows its effectiveness in increasing concept understanding, learning independence, and student activity during the learning process in the classroom.

Abstract

Guru memiliki peran yang penting dalam proses belajar-mengajar di kelas. Peningkatan keterampilan mengajar dan profesionalisme seorang guru masih harus terus ditingkatkan seiring dengan perkembangan jaman dan perkembangan teknologi. Keterampilan yang harus dimiliki guru yaitu memberikan pertanyaan, mengelola kelas, variasi dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran, dan sebagainya. Dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar di kelas, banyak guru di sekolah dasar hanya mengajar dengan mGuru memiliki peran yang penting dalam proses belajar-mengajar di kelas. Peningkatan keterampilan mengajar dan profesionalisme seorang guru masih harus terus ditingkatkan seiring dengan perkembangan jaman dan perkembangan teknologi. Keterampilan yang harus dimiliki guru yaitu memberikan pertanyaan, mengelola kelas, variasi dalam menggunakan model pembelajaran, dan sebagainya. Dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar di kelas, banyak guru di sekolah dasar hanya mengajar dengan metode tanya jawab, ceramah, dan pemberian tugas. Dan juga masih banyak guru yang belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang berbasis TIK. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu berbentuk kegiatan workshop. Kegiatan workshop pembelajaran TIK ini dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dengan peserta adalah guru Sekolah Dasar di Kecamatan Kartoharjo. Diharapkan melalui kegiatan workshop ini, guru Sekolah Dasar dapat mengaplikasikan pembelajaran yang terkini yaitu pembelajaran TIK dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas. Dengan media pembelajaran yang didesain dengan menarik dan dilengkapi dengan sound, diharapkan dapat membantu siswa dalam memahami materi, meningkatkan presetasi belajar siswa, dan semakin semangat dalam belajar semua materi pelajaran.etode tanya jawab, ceramah, dan pemberian tugas. Dan juga masih banyak guru yang belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang berbasis TIK. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu berbentuk kegiatan workshop.
