Abstract

This study examines the impact and legal protection provided to businesses facing fictitious negative reviews on the Google Maps application based on the guidelines recommended by the Fatwa DSN MUI No. 24 of 2017. The research aims to understand how fictitious negative reviews on the Google Maps application affect businesses and to evaluate the extent to which the fatwa has been implemented in protecting the rights and reputation of affected businesses. Additionally, it seeks to identify effective legal protection measures for businesses. The research utilizes a qualitative method with a case study approach, allowing for an in-depth understanding of real cases experienced by businesses suffering losses due to fictitious negative reviews on Google Maps. The research findings indicate that Fatwa DSN MUI No. 24 of 2017 plays a crucial role in providing legal protection guidelines for businesses affected by fictitious negative reviews. The impacts include decreased revenue, damaged reputation, and financial losses. Therefore, the study provides recommendations for protecting against fictitious negative reviews, including through legal approaches and reputation management. In conclusion, this fatwa holds significant relevance in legal protection and maintaining the reputation of businesses in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the criminal liability system in environmental law and evaluate how Islamic jurisprudence can offer alternative or additional solutions to address environmental pollution problems. This study uses an empirical legal research method with qualitative procedures. The results of the study indicate that the act is considered to violate Islamic jurisprudence and environmental regulations in Indonesia, as shown in the findings. However, law enforcement still has obstacles related to evidence collection and time constraints that must be overcome in order to effectively pursue individuals or groups responsible for environmental damage. Therefore, to ensure environmental sustainability, it is important for the government to actively participate, for law enforcement to achieve effectiveness, and for business entities and the community to be aware of their obligations and be responsible for their behavior.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the factors of coercion in early marriage. find out how Islamic law in Indonesia analyzes the coercion of underage children into marriage. This research was designed using qualitative methods to be able to explain in as much detail as possible about forced early marriage. This research is normative-empirical research with a sociological approach. The primary data source was obtained from interviews with several respondents, while the secondary data source was obtained from several references that explain forced marriage in Indonesian Islamic law. Meanwhile, the analysis technique is descriptive. The results of this research found that many factors led to attempts to force early marriage in Air Hitam village due to several factors such as economic reasons, low education, and lack of understanding of religion. So, from the results of this research, it is concluded that forced early marriage is caused by economic factors, education, and religious understanding. analysis of Islamic law regarding forced marriage of underage children, referring to the majority of ulama or the majority of ulama saying that it is haram or not permissible to force girls (underage) to marry. The majority of ulama view that forcing the marriage of minor girls (underage) does not bring benefits at all, it even becomes a shackle for the child's freedom so that his future is threatened.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Smart Indonesia Programme policy in encouraging the implementation of 12 years of compulsory education in the Sukabumi District. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques included interviews, observation, and document analysis. Data analysis techniques included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed (1) the context aspect was by the criteria, due to the suitability of the background of program implementation, legal basis, and objectives of the PIP program. (2) the input aspect is by the criteria, the implementation and acceptance mechanism of the PIP program is under the applicable program Technical Guidelines, (3) the process aspect is by the criteria, the implementation of disbursement, distribution, utilization and supervision of the program has been carried out by applicable regulations, (4) the product aspect is not by the criteria, it can be seen from the increasing dropout rate, for this reason schools need to motivate students so that they can see the purpose of implementing compulsory 12-year education.

Abstract

This study examines the protection of the rights of children from mixed marriages through the analysis of the Jakarta High Court Decision No. 495/Pdt/2020 using the Maqashid Sharia approach, aiming to understand the application of Sharia principles in determining child custody, especially concerning citizenship and emotional bonds for the child's welfare. The method used is normative juridical with a legislative and case approach, qualitative in nature, focusing on legal reasoning based on principles, doctrines, theories, and applicable legal norms, with data collected through literature studies including primary sources such as the Civil Code, Citizenship Law, Marriage Law, court decisions, secondary materials like books and journals, and tertiary sources such as legal dictionaries and encyclopedias. Descriptive analytical analysis is systematically conducted to describe and analyze the substance of legal protection for children from mixed marriages. The study results show that the application of Maqashid Sharia in the decision emphasizes the importance of protecting citizenship and maintaining the emotional relationship between the child and parents, reflecting a harmonization between positive law and Sharia principles to ensure the best rights and welfare for the child.

Abstract

Adolescents are a vulnerable group who are highly at risk of experiencing various forms of violence, particularly sexual violence that often occurs within close environments such as families, schools, and social communities. This community service program aimed to enhance students’ legal awareness and knowledge regarding the prevention of sexual violence in schools through a legal education campaign at SMKN 20 Samarinda. The program was conducted over six months, involving 40 participants consisting of student council members, flag-raising troop members, and class representatives from grade XI. The implementation employed a participatory-educative approach, combining legal counseling, interactive lectures, group discussions, and experience-sharing sessions. The activities were carried out in two stages: the first focused on socialization and education about the forms and impacts of sexual violence, while the second involved expert legal speakers who provided in-depth understanding of legal protection and reporting mechanisms. The results showed an improvement in students’ comprehension of sexual violence concepts, their awareness of self-protection rights, and their courage to report incidents of violence occurring in their surroundings. Moreover, the program fostered empathy and social concern among students to build a safe and violence-free school environment. This initiative is expected to serve as an initial step in developing a culture of legal awareness and child protection within educational settings and as a preventive model that can be replicated in other schools.

Abstract

Indonesia dikenal sebagai negara megabiodiversitas dengan kekayaan hayati yang luar biasa, termasuk berbagai jenis tanaman obat yang memiliki potensi besar untuk dimanfaatkan dalam peningkatan kualitas kesehatan Masyarakat. Tujuan Program pengabdian ini melakukan Pelatihan Budidaya dan Pemanfaatan Tumbuhan Obat Keluarga Melalui Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kampung Ayambori Sebagai Upaya Konservasi dan Peningkatan Kesehatan Masyarakat. Metode pelatihan terdiri dari sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi dan evaluasi kegiatan. Mitra sasaran yakni Warga dan PKK kampung Ayambori yang terdiri dari 15 orang. Evaluasi kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada para peserta pelatihan yaitu warga kampung Ayambori  yang terdiri dari 20 butir soal. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan budidaya tanaman obat  keluarga. Sebelum pelatihan, data menunjukkan bahwa 75% warga tidak mengetahui tentang tanaman obat keluarga dan 90,9% belum pernah dilakukan pelatihan budidaya tanaman obat keluarga. Namun, setelah pelatihan, 83,3% peserta mampu memahami mengenai tanaman obat keluarga, 83,3 % siap membudidayakan TOGA dan 91,7% mengetahui cara membuat ramuan herbal serta 90,9% kegiatan ini sangat bermanfaat untuk peserta. Kesimpulan pengabdian ini terjadi Peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga dalam membudidayakan dan Pemanfaatan Tumbuhan Obat Keluarga Melalui Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Kampung Ayambori Sebagai Upaya Konservasi dan Peningkatan Kesehatan Masyarakat.

Abstract

Maternal and Child Health (MCH) is a crucial aspect, yet continues to face significant challenges, reflected in high maternal and infant mortality rates. These issues stem from limited access to quality health services, low awareness of balanced nutrition, exclusive breastfeed ing, and stunting prevention. The situation is worsened by shortages of medical personnel and equipment at the community health center, as well as low community participation in Posyandu and maternal classes. Therefore, a comprehensive interv ention through collaboration among the health center, community organizations (health cadres, PKK, Posyandu), and the private sector through CSR programs is needed. Key efforts include training health cadres for home visits and support to high-risk pregnant women and children; engaging the private sector to provide medical equipment, medicines, and health education; and utilizing digital tools, such as mobile applications, for data collection and service reminders. This collaborative approach is expected to improve service quality and reduce maternal and infant mortality in Mangasa.

Abstract

Background: Freedom in digital transformation development has led to abuse, resulting in sexual harassment, such as the “incest fantasy” community. This community sparked public controversy because it deviated from the norm. Despite the bans and arrests, people are still talking about this issue. Comments on YouTube videos are one example. Purpose: Observing sentiment polarization on comments and mapping dominating actors are the goals of this research. Method: This research maps and analyzes the network established by YouTube video and comments linked to the “incest fantasy” group using a Social Network Analysis (SNA) technique, which uses quantitative approaches. Results: The tvOneNews channel has the greatest centrality degree (CD = 27; CC = 0.88; CB = 0.022) according to the findings. A central community is shown via an analysis of comments on TVOneNews programming, encircled by several smaller groups or individuals. This indicates that YouTube comments are not a space for social discourse. The average sentiment level is moderate, indicating that the public is neither overly biased nor neutral, but rather tends toward criticism. Conclusion: There is a dominant actor in the network, but their role is merely a trigger and does not significantly influence the discourse. Analysis of the comments also indicates polarization, with neutral sentiment predominating. Implications: This research enriches communication studies by applying graph theory to enable network mapping and monitoring of discourse development in comments.

Abstract

This community service activity titled “Deworming Education for Early Childhood Students at SDN 6 Wawo, Walasiho Village, Wawo District, North Kolaka Regency” aims to increase students’ knowledge about the importance of maintaining body health from worm infections. The activity was carried out through interactive counseling and direct demonstrations on prevention methods and the importance of taking deworming medicine regularly. This activity was motivated by the low awareness among children regarding the dangers of worm infections that can affect growth and learning concentration. The results showed an increase in students’ understanding of personal hygiene and the benefits of deworming medicine. This program is expected to foster healthy living habits from an early age and prevent worm-related diseases.
