Abstract

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the student facilitator and explaining learning model on the theme of the area where I live in elementary school. Based on the data obtained from the average results in the pre test, post test cycle I, and cycle II, there can be an increase. The improvement process can be seen through the pre-test results there were 5 students who were complete and 20 students who were not complete with an average score of 54.72, in cycle I there were 11 students who were complete and 14 students who were not complete with an average score of 66.72, and in cycle II there were 21 students who were complete and 4 students who were not complete with an average score of 80.24.From the data obtained, it can be seen that there was an increase in the results of students' critical thinking skills classically. In the pre-test, the classical result was 20%, in cycle I it was 44%, and in cycle II it was 84%. This shows that the expected completeness of students' critical thinking results classically, which is 75%, has been achieved. Based on the increase obtained from the student learning outcomes data that the pre test to post test cycle I experienced an increase of 12, and from post test cycle I to cycle II experienced an increase of 13.52. This proves that using the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This paper describes the effect of applying the numerical literacy learning model on students’ mathematics learning outcomes in the material of collecting and presenting data in class V at SD Negeri 156320 Simpang Tiga 2 in the academic year 2022/2023. The research uses a quantitative research method. The research population is 30 fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 156320 Simpang Tiga 2, which consist of 16 male and 14 female students. The sampling technique uses a purposive sample, which distributes in class V with the number of 30 students. The research results indicate that students’ learning outcomes using the numerical literacy model are considered in the good category with an average score of 77.96 and a correlation test result of 0.983, which means rcount (0.983) ≥ rtable (0.361), hence Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a very strong influence between the use of the numerical literacy learning model on students’ mathematics learning outcomes in the material of collecting and presenting data in class V at SD Negeri 156320 Simpang Tiga 2. It can be seen from the results of the T-test research where tcount 28.266 ≥ ttable 1.697 so that it can be stated that Ha is accepted. It shows that there is a significant positive effect from the use of the numerical literacy learning model on students' mathematics learning outcomes in the material of collecting and presenting data in class V at SD Negeri 156320 Simpang Tiga 2 in the academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

Students who have learning difficulty in mathematics learning subjects indicate unsatisfactory learning results and incomplete scores with KKM. The quantitative research method is a research method that is based on positive philosophy used to study the research instruments, and the data analysis is quantitative or statistical in order to test the hypotheses that have been set. The research method used is an experimental research method. The students' mathematics learning outcomes before being given treatment obtained an average value of 50.80. The result of the normality test was 0.128. Hence, it can be concluded that the pretest learning outcomes are normally distributed. The students’ mathematics learning outcomes after being given treatment obtained an average score of 72.69. The normality test result was 0.117. Hence, it can be concluded that the post-test learning outcomes are normally distributed. It can be proven that a correlation coefficient value of 0.846 is in the powerful interference category. The results of the T-test to find out whether the hypothesis is accepted or rejected are seen from the tcount 9,118 ≥ ttable 1,692, which means that there is an effect of Joyful Learning on students’ learning outcomes. Thus, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected.

Abstract

This research is a type of quantitative research. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 060883 Jln. Darusalam, Kec. Medan Petisah. This study amounted to 23 students based on saturated sample technique. Student learning outcomes showed that the average value of pre-test class III students was 44.60 while the Post-test value was 77.60. Furthermore, hypothesis testing shows that the tcount is 4.666 while the ttable is 1.721, it is proven that the hypothesis is greater than the ttable, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of the Numbered Heads Together (NHT) learning model on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving rewards on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students at 097388 village Partuhan, Simalungun Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year. The population of this study were all students in grades 5a and 5b of SD Negeri 097388 in the village of Partuhan, totaling 62 students. The research method used in this research is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. The instrument used to collect data is in the form of multiple choice questions and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes using the reward method are in the very good category with an average of 83.2. This researcher used the normality test with the results of 0.200 > 0.05 or L count > L table. Based on these calculations, it can be seen that the significant value is normally distributed. In the correlation test, the coefficient value of 0.710 means that r count > r table 0.250. So there is a strong influence between the method of giving rewards to the mathematics learning outcomes of 5th grade elementary school students at 097388 village partuhan. The results of the t-test are 7.803 > 1.679 so it is accepted. this shows that there is a significant positive effect of the effect of giving rewards on the mathematics learning outcomes of 5th graders at SD Negeri 097388 Partuhan Village in the 2021/2022 academic year. Keywords:Giving rewards, mathematics, learning outcomesThis study aims to determine the effect of giving rewards on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade elementary school students at 097388 village Partuhan, Simalungun Regency, in the 2021/2022 academic year. Abstract

TThis paper discusses the improvement of students' learning outcomes in Indonesian through the use of the discovery learning method on the reading text and topic sentence subject matter in class IV at SD Negeri 200111 Padangsidimpuan. This classroom action research consists of 2 cycles with the research subjects of all 26 fourth-grade students, which consisted of 9 male and 17 female students. Data collection techniques were observation of teacher and student activities and student learning outcomes tests. Data analysis used quantitative and descriptive qualitative analyses by determining the average percentage of teacher and student activity, the completeness of student learning outcomes, and then determining the success criteria. Based on the data analysis results, it is concluded that there was an improvement of Indonesian students' learning outcomes on the reading and topic sentence subject matters. It can be seen from the percentage of classical learning completeness in cycle I, there were 17 female students or 65.39% of 26 students and 9 male students or 34.61% of 26 students. While in cycle II there was an increase where there were 23 students or 88.5% who completed from 26 students and 3 students or 11.5% who did not complete from 26.
