Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of average industrial sector wages and per capita expenditure on inflation in Kalimantan using the multiple linear regression method. The data used includes annual average industrial sector wages and per capita expenditure as independent variables, with the inflation rate as the dependent variable. The analysis results indicate that average industrial sector wages have a significant impact on inflation, while per capita expenditure contributes on a smaller scale. The applied inflation prediction model demonstrates a fairly good level of accuracy with an RMSE value of 0.010 ± 0.000. However, significant deviations between predicted and actual values were observed at certain points, such as inflation rates of 0.015 and 0.04, highlighting limitations in the model. The findings imply that an increase in industrial sector wages could drive inflation due to higher production costs passed on to consumers. Conversely, higher per capita expenditure shows a weaker correlation with inflation but still contributes to increased consumption. This study is expected to serve as a reference for policymakers in formulating more effective strategies to control inflation in Kalimantan, such as managing industrial sector wages and enhancing household purchasing power.

Abstract

The phenomenon of micro-influencers in Indonesia continues to grow alongside the increasing use of social media in digital marketing. One of the key factors determining the success of micro-influencers in building engagement and branding is the linguistic strategies they employ. However, in-depth studies on how language use can enhance audience interaction and brand appeal remain limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop an effective model of linguistic strategies for micro-influencers to boost audience engagement and strengthen their personal branding. This research adopts a qualitative method with digital discourse analysis of micro-influencer content on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Data were collected through sampling of social media posts, interviews with micro-influencers and their audiences, and analysis of interactions in the form of comments and engagement metrics. The analytical techniques used include critical discourse analysis to identify communication patterns, sentiment analysis to measure audience responses, and the development of a conceptual model of linguistic strategies based on the findings. The results of this study not only contribute academically to the field of digital linguistics but also have practical implications in helping micro-influencers and brands optimize their communication strategies on social media.

Abstract

A learning strategy is a plan for a series of activities designed to achieve specific educational goals. In this context, a learning strategy is an activity that must be carried out by teachers and students. This is because a learning strategy is also defined as a set of learning materials and procedures to produce learning outcomes in students. The components that make up learning technology include television, film, overhead projectors, computers, and other hardware and software components. These findings reveal that learning media are communication tools in print or audio-visual form, including hardware technology. From the three opinions above, it can be concluded that learning media is anything that can convey messages, can stimulate the thoughts, feelings, and desires of students, thereby encouraging the creation of the learning process in students.

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Gout arthritis, a degenerative disease stemming from improper purine metabolism, is marked by elevated uric acid levels. An individual's physical capacity and general health are significantly affected by their diet.  The likelihood of gout increases with the use of foods high in purines.  An imbalanced diet increases the risk of gout.  Physical exercise refers to any physical movement that leads to heightened energy consumption.  Blood uric acid levels are affected by physical exercise.  Inadequate physical activity will elevate lactic acid levels, which in turn influences uric acid concentrations.  This research aimed to ascertain the correlation between food and physical activity and uric acid levels in older individuals with gout arthritis within the Teluk Tiram Health Center jurisdiction.  The study used a correlation analysis model using a cross-sectional approach and quantitative methods.  The study's population included 62 individuals, selected using purposive sampling, resulting in 45 responses.  Data were collected through questionnaires and uric acid level examination results, analyzed using the Spearman rank test, yielding a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). This indicates a significant relationship between diet and physical activity and uric acid levels in elderly patients with gout arthritis in the Teluk Tiram Health Center jurisdiction.  Health staff at the health center are advised to conduct health education sessions on proper nutrition for senior individuals with gout arthritis, as well as on the need of physical exercise to preserve health. Keywords: Gout, Diet, Physical activity, Elderly, Gout arthritis  ABSTRAK Gout arthritis, suatu penyakit degeneratif yang disebabkan oleh gangguan metabolisme purin, ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar asam urat. Abstract

Stunting is one of the health issues. Prevention efforts for stunting include interventions targeted at various life stages, such as adolescence and preconception. The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of stunting prevention cards in enhancing the knowledge of adolescent girls to prevent stunting. Method: This study employed a Pre-Experimental Design with a One Group Pretest–Posttest Design, involving a sample size of 50 respondents. Data were collected using a knowledge questionnaire consisting of 10 items, each with 4 multiple-choice answer categories, with a maximum score of 100 and a minimum score of 10. The questionnaire was distributed to all respondents before the game, and the time for questionnaire completion was 20–25 minutes (pre-test). Subsequently, respondents were given 10 minutes to read the explanations of categories found on the stunting prevention cards. Afterward, a game lasting 1 hour was conducted, followed by a question and answer session lasting 25–30 minutes. Finally, respondents were given a 30-minute break before being provided with the same questionnaire again, with a questionnaire completion time of 25–30 minutes (post-test). Data were processed and analyzed univariately and bivariate using the T-test. The research results were then presented in tables and narrative form. Result: The statistical test yielded a p-value of 0.000 or p < 0.05. This indicates that the stunting prevention cards significantly influenced the increase in the knowledge level of adolescent girls. Conclusion: The higher the level of knowledge among adolescents, the better they are at preventing stunting.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of sustainability reporting, intellectual capital, and good corporate governance on firm value in telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020-2023. Using quantitative approach and multiple linear regression analysis, data were collected from annual reports of 15 telecommunications companies selected through purposive sampling from a population of 22 companies. The results show that board of directors has a significant positive effect on firm value (? = 0.002), while audit committee has a significant negative effect (? = 0.037). However, sustainability reporting, intellectual capital, and institutional ownership show no significant effects on firm value (? = 0.695, ? = 0.277, and ? = 0.954 respectively). The regression model explains only 17.6% of the variation in firm value, indicating the need for enhanced transparency in sustainability reporting and intellectual capital management, as well as strengthening the role of board of directors and audit committees. These findings provide insights for management and stakeholders in formulating strategies to enhance firm value in the telecommunications sector.
