Abstract

Sosialisasi penggunanaan Virtual Reality Box di SMK Negeri 1 Bone bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran sebagai inovasi teknologi yang semakin berkembang. Kegiatan dilakukan pada tanggal 26 Juli 2024 melalui demonstrasi dan pelatihan langsung. Peserta didik dapat merasakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif dan mendalam. Hasil dari evaluasi yang dilakukan setelah pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa Virtual Reality berhasil meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, pemahaman konseptual, dan minat belajar. Alat Virtual Reality Box memiliki potensi besar sebagai alat pembelajaran yang inovatif. Namun, masih diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut untuk menyediakan perangkat dan konten yang lebih memadai. Diharapkan hadirnnya Virtual Reality dalam pembelajaran memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi di Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstract- This research aims to determine the effect of exam anxiety using Google Form on the learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. This type of research is quantitative research. Quantitative Method because information or data is represented numerically and analyzed statistically. The population in this study were all students of SMA Negeri 11 Makassar class X, XI, and XII. The sample used in this research was 317 students taken using proportional sampling technique. The research results show that exam anxiety using Google Form is in the medium category with a percentage value of 75.71% and student learning outcomes are in the medium category with a percentage value of 69.40%. Based on this, there is a negative and significant influence between exam anxiety using Google Forms on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This article discusses a community service program which aims to strengthen the profile of Pancasila among Vocational High School (SMK) students, especially at SMK Negeri 7 Takalar. This program is designed to increase teacher capacity in integrating Pancasila values ​​into learning. The methods used are lectures, group discussions, and direct practice in making P5 projects. Follow-up steps include the formation of a monitoring group, integration of Pancasila values ​​in the curriculum, development of follow-up programs, collaboration with parents and the community, involvement of teachers and school staff, and regular evaluations. The program results show the program is effective in improving teachers' understanding of P5 concepts and their skills in designing projects. However, further support is still needed in terms of resources and time for optimal implementation of P5 in schools. This article provides guidance for the development of similar programs in vocational education institutions. Regular evaluation and feedback is implemented to ensure the sustainability and expansion of the impact of this program in shaping student character based on Pancasila values.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) untuk mengetahui proses pelaksanaan prakerin SMK Jurusan Teknik Tenaga Listrik pada DUDI, 2) untuk menghasilkan model pelaksanaan prakerin antara SMK Jurusan Teknik Tenaga Listrik dan DUDI, serta 3) untuk mengetahui kesiapan kerja siswa SMK setelah melaksanakan prakerin. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah modifikasi dari model Borg ang Gall, ADDIE, dan Dick and Carey yang dinamakan model HILDA. Model HILDA terdiri dari lima tahap yaitu: 1) How, 2) Innovation, 3) Learning, 4) Development, dan (Application). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan model link and match yang dikembangkan setelah dilakukan validasi dinyatakan valid. Produk berupa buku panduan prakerin dinyatakan layak untuk digunakan karena seluruh aspek dalam pembelajaran berada pada kategori baik. Pengembangan model link and match melalui prakerin dinyatakan efektif karena telah memenuhi kriteria. Hasil penelitian memenuhi syarat kevalidan dan analisis data pengamatan pelaksanaan prakerin yang dilakukan siswa, SMK, dan DUDI menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan model HILDA layak untuk dikembangkan. Hasil analisis kesiapan kerja siswa berada kategori tinggi sehingga dapat dinyatakan bahwa siswa telah siap memasuki lapangan kerja. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang diperoleh maka disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan model link and match melalui prakerin yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kategori kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan ketertarikan sehingga layak untuk dikembangkan.

Abstract

This training program aims to improve the competence of vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Polman District, West Sulawesi Province, in using educational aids as a learning medium in the era of industry 4.0, in order to enhance the learning outcomes of students in SMK Negeri Sulawesi Barat. The activity is conducted in the form of training on the use of educational aids as a learning medium for SMK teachers. The participants of this training program consist of 30 teachers from SMK Negeri Paku Polewali Mandar Sulawei Barat. Based on the results obtained, this community service activity has been successfully implemented in accordance with the expectations of the service team and participants. The percentage of achievement of the community service activity over 2 days is 93.25%.

Abstract

The rapid development of higher education in Indonesia has led students to actively contribute to societal development through research, particularly in quantitative research. However, students face challenges, such as slow research progress and resource constraints. This article proposes an innovative solution by harnessing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to support student research. The utilization of online applications and platforms, especially in the context of quantitative research, is expected to expedite research progress and provide greater flexibility. Support from higher education institutions and the government, including adequate infrastructure and training, is essential to ensure the sustainability of this solution. Additionally, a holistic approach emphasizing digital literacy, research ethics, and collaboration among students can enhance research quality. The article also presents the implementation method of quantitative research training using the JAMOVI application, followed by a follow-up plan to ensure sustained understanding and practical application. The results show that remote research training has a positive impact, enabling students to maximize the potential of technology for research advancement and scientific contributions. The program provides in-depth insights into the concepts of quantitative research, the installation and use of the JAMOVI application, and reinforcement through discussions and case studies. In conclusion, the implementation of remote research in students forms a solid foundation for advancing higher education in Indonesia, and follow-up measures are necessary to maintain sustainability and enhance program effectiveness.

Abstract

Modul ajar merupakan salah satu jenis perangkat ajar yang memuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran, untuk membantu mengarahkan proses pembelajaran mencapai Capaian Pembelajaran (CP). Sehingga pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan pengembangan modul pembelajaran Keamanan Website dan Basisdata Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development), rancangan pengembangannya menggunakan model 4-D. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer FT UNM. Instrumen pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui lembar uji validasi, angket respon mahasiswa, dan instrumen penilaian hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul Keamanan Website dan Basisdata Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer FT UNM dengan kategori sangat valid, kategori sangat praktis dan efektif karena ditinjau dari hasil belajar mahasiswa yang meningkat. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan modul Keamanan Website dan Basisdata diterima untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran mahasiswa Jurusan Teknik Informatika dan Komputer Fakultas Teknik Universitas Neger Makassar.

Abstract

Dalam era digital saat ini, jaringan komputer menjadi tulang punggung dari hampir semua aspek kehidupan manusia, baik itu dalam bidang bisnis, pendidikan, pemerintahan, maupun kehidupan sehari-hari. Keberadaan jaringan komputer memungkinkan pertukaran informasi secara cepat dan efisien, menghubungkan jutaan perangkat di seluruh dunia. Untuk memastikan komunikasi yang efektif dan efisien antara perangkat-perangkat ini, diperlukan adanya serangkaian aturan dan standar yang diakui secara universal, yang dikenal sebagai standar jaringan. Standar jaringan ini mencakup berbagai aspek, mulai dari cara data dikodekan dan ditransmisikan, hingga bagaimana perangkat jaringan berkomunikasi satu sama lain dan bagaimana keamanan data dijamin. Bagi siswa SMK jurusan Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ), pemahaman yang mendalam tentang standar jaringan sangatlah penting. Siswa diharapkan tidak hanya memahami teori di balik standar tersebut, tetapi juga mampu mengaplikasikannya dalam praktik. Mereka harus menguasai keterampilan dalam mengkonfigurasi, mengelola, dan memelihara jaringan yang sesuai dengan standar yang telah ditetapkan. Tahapan kegiatan terdiri atas tahapan persiapan, tahapan pelaksanaan kegiatan, dan tahapan pendampingan. Setelah pelatihan ini siswa mendapatkan (1) pemahaman yang mendalam tentang dasar-dasar jaringan komputer, termasuk konsep topologi jaringan, protokol jaringan, dan model referensi OSI/TCP/IP; (2) pengetahuan tentang berbagai jenis jaringan seperti LAN, WAN, dan MAN, beserta aplikasi praktisnya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari; (3) keterampilan dalam mengidentifikasi, mengkonfigurasi, dan mengelola perangkat jaringan seperti router, switch, access point, dan modem; serta (4) kemampuan untuk membuat, memasang, dan menguji kabel jaringan serta konektor RJ45 menggunakan crimping tool.

Abstract

This study is designed to develop a two-tier multiple-choice diagnostic assessment tool to identify students' misconceptions in chemistry, particularly on the topics of conductive and non-conductive solutions, as well as reduction and oxidation processes. The development method follows the adapted framework of Wilson, Orindo, and Antonio, streamlined into three core phases: planning, feasibility assessment, and field testing. Validation was conducted through expert evaluation and the application of Rasch statistical analysis. The assessment tool demonstrated excellent content quality, with an Aiken score of 0.86, confirming its alignment with learning materials and the objective of enhancing students' analytical skills. Field testing confirmed that the tool meets all Rasch measurement criteria, including unidimensionality, answer independence, parameter consistency, model fit, and item difficulty variation. The tool also exhibited strong measurement consistency, performing optimally in assessing students with intermediate ability levels. Thus, this instrument is deemed suitable for identifying conceptual errors in chemistry learning and serves as a guide for formulating effective instructional strategies.

Abstract

Substance abuse among transgender individuals remains underexplored, particularly in the context of how intersecting social determinants contribute to its prevalence. Existing studies often overlook the paradox wherein increased healthcare access does not equate to effective support due to systemic bias and exclusion in service provision. This study aims to analyze the influence of social stigma, family support, and healthcare access on drug abuse among transgender individuals in South Sulawesi. A cross-sectional quantitative study was conducted involving 230 transgender individuals in South Sulawesi, including 178 residing in Makassar. Data were collected through structured interviews and validated questionnaires, and then analyzed using descriptive statistics and logistic regression. The findings indicate that social stigma is a significant risk factor linked to an increased likelihood of substance use (p < 0.05), whereas family support shows a protective association, potentially mitigating the risk of substance use within this population. However, greater access to healthcare services is associated with higher chances of substance use, indicating challenges in the effectiveness of rehabilitation services for transgender individuals, particularly due to persistent stigma, lack of provider training in gender-sensitive care, and limited inclusivity within existing healthcare systems.These findings highlight the need for a holistic intervention framework that prioritizes stigma reduction, social support, and inclusive healthcare access, particularly within marginalized and rural health systems. The evidence may guide policies aimed at enhancing equity and responsiveness in service delivery for underserved populations.
