Abstract

The Psychological Instrument Writing Training for Research Foundation aims to increase the understanding and interest of teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Patalassang in conducting psychological research and being able to publish it in journals. Psychological research can help teachers become more effective in teaching and help students achieve their learning potential. The problems faced by teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Patalassang are (1) limited information on how to conduct psychological research, and (2) the need for guidance from competent parties in developing psychological variable instrument. The solution offered is to provide material on writing psychological instruments as a research foundation. The speaker provides material that suits the problems in the partner school, but also motivates teachers to develop the great potential that the school and teachers have. The implementation stage consists of two stages. The first stage is divided into two sessions, the first session is about delivering research materials and psychological variable instruments. The second session is a question and answer session. The second stage is the training session for developing psychological variable instruments. The training method used is through lecture, discussion, and simulation.

Abstract

This program aims to introduce Augmented Reality (AR) technology as an interactive learning medium for practical instruction in Vocational High Schools (SMK). Within the context of educational digitalization and the challenges posed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the implementation of AR technology presents an alternative solution to enhance students’ interest, motivation, and learning outcomes. The outreach activities targeted both teachers and students through interactive lectures and demonstrations of mobile-based AR applications. The outcomes indicate improved teacher understanding of AR’s potential to support practice-oriented curricula, along with a growing readiness to integrate AR into the teaching and learning process. This initiative is expected to serve as a foundational step toward a more adaptive and technology-driven educational transformation.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor afektif yang dapat mempengaruhi proses belajar siswa adalah efikasi diri. Efikasi diri berpengaruh ketika siswa melakukan proses investigasi yang tercermin dari tindakan, usaha, kegigihan, fleksibilitas dalam perbedaan, dan realisasi tujuan. Efikasi diri matematika mencakup interpretasi mahasiswa terhadap pencapaian mereka sebelumnya, penilaian diri terhadap kemampuan mereka, dan estimasi pribadi terhadap kinerja selanjutnya pada tugas matematika yang diberikan. Terlepas dari relevansi efikasi diri matematika dengan minat dan motivasi siswa untuk menyelesaikan studi secara profesional, sebagian besar penelitian yang menganalisis efikasi diri siswa dalam matematika menggunakan instrumen yang tidak dapat diandalkan atau kurang disesuaikan dengan konteks mahasiswa dan kebahasaan. Penelitian sebelumnya dalam literatur efikasi diri matematis kemudian menyesuaikannya dengan konteks dan bahasa yang baru, yaitu Bahasa Arab, Bahasa Spanyol, dan Bahasa Mexico. Penelitian ini yang akan menjadi pelopor instrumen efikasi diri dalam matematika dengan menggunakan Bahasa Indonesia Betz dan Hackett. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 620 oarng mahasiswa fakultas teknik tahun pertama hingga tahun ketiga. Survei dalam bentuk digital dikirimkan kepada mahasiswa melalui ketua tingkat masing-masing. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kuesioner Source-of Self-Efficacy in Mathematics (SOSEM-24) menunjukkan sifat psikometri yang baik. Perbedaan mendasar dari hasil uji coba SOSEM-24 di mahasiswa Indonesia berdasarkan EFA yang dilakukan adalah faktor-faktor sumber efikasi diri dalam matematika menjadi lebih sedikit dalam konteks Indonesia.

Abstract

Pendidikan kejuruan memiliki peran strategis dalam menyiapkan lulusan yang tidak hanya menguasai keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga memiliki employability skills yang relevan dengan dunia kerja modern. Kegiatan ini membahas pelaksanaan program inovasi pembelajaran berbasis media digital di SMKN 10 Makassar yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan employability skills siswa. Program ini dilaksanakan dalam lima tahap: identifikasi kebutuhan pembelajaran, pengembangan media dan prosedur praktikum digital, pelatihan guru dan siswa, implementasi pembelajaran, serta evaluasi untuk menilai peningkatan employability skills.Hasil pelaksanaan program menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media digital dalam praktikum dapat memperkuat pemahaman teknis sekaligus mengembangkan keterampilan penting seperti komunikasi, kerja tim, inisiatif, kedisiplinan, dan pemecahan masalah. Program ini juga berdampak positif terhadap kapasitas guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang inovatif serta meningkatkan motivasi dan kemandirian siswa. Temuan ini mendukung pembelajaran digital praktikum sebagai pendekatan yang relevan dan efektif untuk pendidikan vokasi di era industri 4.0 dan society 5.0. Artikel ini merekomendasikan penguatan infrastruktur digital, peningkatan kompetensi guru, dan replikasi model serupa di SMK lain untuk mempercepat transformasi pendidikan kejuruan yang adaptif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penguatan kompetensi guru dalam menyusun instrumen evaluasi pembelajaran menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam menghadapi tuntutan kurikulum abad ke-21. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi guru STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), khususnya guru Matematika, Biologi, Fisika, dan Kimia, adalah keterbatasan dalam menyusun soal berbasis Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) serta minimnya pemahaman terhadap pendekatan computational thinking (CT). Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang soal evaluasi yang mengintegrasikan prinsip HOTS dan CT secara sistematis dan kontekstual. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26–27 Mei 2025 di SMP dan SMA Al Biruni dalam bentuk workshop interaktif yang melibatkan pemaparan materi, studi kasus, diskusi kelompok, dan praktik penyusunan soal. Evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test, yang menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor peserta dari 58 menjadi 83. Selain itu, hasil angket kepuasan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta merasa sangat puas dengan relevansi dan efektivitas pelatihan. Hasil penyusunan soal menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu mengintegrasikan elemen HOTS dan CT dalam soal yang berbasis konteks dan menuntut pemikiran kritis. Kegiatan ini berhasil menjawab kebutuhan guru akan peningkatan kompetensi evaluatif dan memberikan dasar bagi replikasi program serupa di sekolah lain.

Abstract

The low ability of students to understand and transform the concept of reflection to solve everyday problems is the main problem with learning mathematics because the implementation of learning mathematics is mechanical. Mathematics is taught by conveying formulas practically without linking them to students' daily activities. For this reason, this study aims to design a reflection learning trajectory in the context of the Lipa Sabbe Bunga Caramming motif as a starting point in learning to help students understand reflection material for solving everyday problems. The method used in this study is design research, which consists of three stages: preliminary design, design trials, and retrospective analysis. The subjects of this study were 23 students in class VIII-A of SMP Negeri 1 Tanasitolo. The instruments used in this study were student activity sheets (LAS), learning achievement tests, and interview guidelines. Student activity data during learning were analyzed retrospectively, and learning outcomes data were analyzed descriptively. The results of this study found that the learning trajectory of transformation geometry using the context of the lipa sabbe bunga caramming motif has four learning stages: (1) informal; (2) modes of; (3) modes of; and (4) formal. The learning stages can easily increase students' understanding of the concept of reflection. In the learning process, mathematical concepts are connected with daily habits, so students are enthusiastic and active in the learning process. This learning trajectory can assist teachers in optimizing learning so that students can easily understand the concept of reflection, equip them with critical thinking skills, and shape their character (cooperation, empathy, respect for others, awareness of social problems, a social spirit, and responsibility).

Abstract

The study aims to identify the influence of variables such as dizziness, activity-related authenticity, object-related authenticity, and satisfaction on students' behavioural intentions to continue using Virtual Reality (VR) technology in a learning context. In this study, path analysis was employed to ascertain the impact of dizziness on satisfaction and behavioural intentions in VR technology users. The findings of the study demonstrate a substantial negative correlation between dizziness and satisfaction, indicating that an escalation in dizziness levels is concomitant with a decline in satisfaction and behavioural intention to persist in utilising VR. Furthermore, activity-related authenticity and object-related authenticity have been demonstrated to exert a significant positive influence on behavioural intention, thereby indicating that students are more inclined to continue utilising VR technology if they perceive the activities and objects within VR as more authentic. The study also found that student satisfaction is the strongest factor in increasing behavioural intention to continue using VR, with path coefficients indicating a significant positive influence. The findings of this study provide important insights into the factors influencing students' behavioural intentions to continue using VR in learning. Consequently, it is anticipated that this study will contribute to the development and application of VR technology in the domain of vocational education. Moreover, it is expected to provide recommendations for technology developers and educators to design more effective and enjoyable learning experiences, taking into account the physical comfort and authenticity of the VR content used.

Abstract

Introduction: This study aimed to develop a health coaching model grounded in these theoretical frameworks. Methods: An explanatory cross-sectional design was employed, involving 155 caregivers purposively recruited from seven primary health care centers in Makassar, Indonesia. Eligible participants were primary caregivers from nuclear or extended families, aged ≥18, with complete contact information, available for home visits, and referred by the mental health program coordinator. Study variables included family, caregiver, patient, nurse, and health care service factors, as well as health coaching, planned behavior, behavioral intention, and caregiver ability. Data were collected between February to June 2024 using structured questionnaires and analyzed with Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (SmartPLS v3.8). Results: The family, patient, and nurse-related factors significantly affected health coaching. These factors, along with caregiver characteristics, also affected planned behavior, which in turn significantly influenced behavioral intention and caregiver ability. Conclusions: Health coaching directly improved caregivers’ capability. These findings highlight the importance of comprehensive health coaching and family-centered training as integral components of mental health services.
