Abstract

This research aims to improve the Quranic and Tafsir literacy of young people so they can counter digital disinformation, particularly on religious issues. Based on a community service learning model (KKN) that combines experience and community involvement, this research equips young people with critical thinking skills regarding online information and the application of Quranic principles in their lives. The training program for 15–25 year olds includes Quranic analysis, Tafsir practice, and discussions on identifying disinformation, complemented by simulations and reflective exercises. Results show increased knowledge, critical awareness, and the ability of participants to recognize and counter religious disinformation. This research bridges religious education and digital literacy by offering effective tools for young people to navigate the digital era without abandoning religious values. This study is unique because it integrates Quranic and Tafsir literacy with community service, thus presenting a new approach to empowering young people to face the challenges of modern education and misinformation..

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the quality of worship of employees at Muhammadiyah Selogiri Hospital in accordance with the Muhammadiyah Tarjih Decisions Association. This activity was carried out in the form of Baitul Arqam activities held at the Pondok Sari 1 Hotel, Tawangmangu, Karanganyar, Central Java. This training focused on worship procedures such as prayer, fasting, zakat, as well as strengthening Muhammadiyah ideology so that employees are not only professional in their health care duties, but also become role models in religious practices in the workplace and community. The methods used included lectures, discussions, worship simulations, and self-reflection. This activity was attended by all ± 80 employees of Muhammadiyah Selogiri Hospital and guided by competent speakers in the field of Muhammadiyah tarjih. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests and post-tests, observations of worship practices, and participant feedback as a basis for improving the development program in the future. The results of the community service program showed an increase in understanding and practice of correct worship according to tarjih, as well as the formation of a strong Islamic work culture in Muhammadiyah charitable efforts

Abstract

Embedded within the Quran in the digital era. With the proliferation of digital platforms, multimedia Tafsir offers a dynamic and immersive means to engage with the sacred text, leveraging a myriad of audio, visual, and interactive elements. Through a comprehensive review of existing literature and analysis of case studies, this study delves into the potential impact, challenges, and opportunities presented by multimedia Tafsir in facilitating a deeper understanding of the Quranic teachings. Furthermore, it examines the ethical considerations surrounding the digital dissemination of religious knowledge and the implications for traditional modes of interpretation. By shedding light on the evolving landscape of Quranic interpretation in the digital age, this research contributes to the ongoing discourse on the intersection of technology, religion, and culture.

Abstract

The research employs a bibliometric approach using R and Rstudio tools, VosViewer, and Microsoft Excel to evaluate the growth of Qur'anic Studies and Tafsir research papers. The sample of reference articles, totaling 1,476 articles, is sourced from the Scopus database using Boolean operators. Further research is still within the scope of Qur'anic Studies through Tafsir Science. The research conducted a data search on 23 November 2023 using Scopus as a guide, using the title and abstract of the article to search for keywords related to Qur'anic Studies and Tafsir.The search results reveal 904 publications published between 1974 and 2023, involving 1807 authors, 372 single authors, and 8.739% international co-authors. These publications have been cited 35,873 times and have an average citation per publication of 4,061. The number of publications integrating Qur'anic Science and Tafsir has fluctuated over the past 12 years, increasing from 2017-2023. The number of publications has increased from 49 in 2017 to 59 in 2018, 69 in 2019, 85 in 2020, 100 in 2021, 110 in 2022, and 120 in 2023. This indicates potential research opportunities for Qur'anic Science and Tafsir.

Abstract

The purpose of this writing is to find out the existence of the sirah nabawiyah fairy tale as a stimulation of religious character education for early childhood. The exploration of inspirational stories will emphasize more on the period before the revelation of the prophet, so that it can minimize the reasons for the inability of mankind to make Muhammad a role model and inspirational figure. This community service is motivated by the development of the era that continues to develop from time to time. Based on that, it is necessary to provide stimulation in terms of strengthening so that children have religious character education through the Sirah Nabawiyah fairy tale. The purpose of this community service is so that children can get to know the Prophet Muhammad and emulate the fairy tale that has been told to children. In addition, so that children have good character education and are based on the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad. The target participants in this community service are children aged 5-6 years. The results of this community service show that children are very enthusiastic in following the fairy tales that are told and are enthusiastic. The activities carried out with direct practice are by reading the Sirah Nabawiyah fairy tale directly to children to make it easier for children to understand the fairy tale. It is hoped that through the Sirah Nabawiyah fairy tale for early childhood, it will be able to stimulate children's religious character education, so that the goal of stimulation will be achieved optimally.

Abstract

The behavior of the Madyan people mentioned in the Qur'an reflects inappropriate behavior in trading. Imam al-Qurṭubī in his tafsir, al-Jāmī' li Aḥkām al-Qur'ān, mentioned that three things they did were mentioning untrue prices, hiding product defects, and cheating in weighing and measuring. This paper aims to analyze these three behaviors of traders at the Sidodadi market, Kleco. Through the interview method, there are three points that are able to be concluded. First, as many as 66% of Kleco market traders always explain the aspects of goods defects. Second, there are 68% of them consistently provide the same price to buyers. Third, there are 88% of them do not cheat in scales and measures. In general, it can be understood that the majority of Kleco market traders do not have trading behavior like the Madyan people

Abstract

The study of the Quran is a collective theme of a group of learning about the holy book of the Quran. Learning the Quran includes learning to read and write the Quran, learning tahsin tartil al-Quran (the science of Tajweed), learning to translate the Quran, learning to memorize the Quran (tahfidz), learning to interpret the Quran, and learning to practice the Quran. Rumah tahfidz is a non-formal education forum whose main orientation is learning to memorize the Quran (tahfidz). Learning tahfidz al-Quran will achieve the purpose of learning the Quran if supported by the stability of learning tahsin tartil al-Quran is qualified. The ability of students to memorize Quran readings will be influenced by their ability to apply tahsin tartil in learning to read the Quran. This urgency is behind the need for assistance and training in the Meisura method of tahsin tartil al-Quran to the students of Pondok Tahfiz Joglo Quran Andong, as a positive contribution to facilitate the learning of the Quran in general. The Meisura method is one of the latest tahsin tartil methods in making it easier for students to understand the Quran. The Meisura method departs from the pronunciation of the right letters (Makharij al-Surat), practicing quality reading, and chanting the Quran recitation with optimal tartil.

Abstract

Qawaid Tafsir has a purpose, namely the rules needed by commentators in understanding the verses of the Qur'an. The rules needed by the exegetes in understanding the Qur'an include appreciation of its uslubs, understanding of its origins, mastery of its secrets and linguistic rules. Siti Aisyah's contribution in the Interpretation of the Qur'an has become a reference for many mufassirins, whose interpretation results are written in the books of Hadith, there is even a special section of the Muslim hadith books, namely the chapter on the hadith books of interpretation. How qawaid and ushul interpretation siti aisyah in the book of hadith Sahih Muslim is the goal of solving the problem of this article. The method used in this research is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) which is a systematic way to collect, critically evaluate, integrate and present findings from various research studies on research questions or topics of interest. The SLR provides a way to assess the level of quality of existing evidence on a question or topic of interest. The SLR provides a broader and more accurate level of understanding than traditional literature reviews. The results of this study were found five verses interpreted by Siti Aisyah in the book of Hadith Sahih Muslim. The details of the explanation can be seen in the discussion chapter. This research is useful for developing the results of the interpretation of the Companions in mapping the methodology of interpretation, qawaid Tafsir and Usul Tafsir.ABSTRAKQawaid Tafsir mempunyai maksud ialah kaidah-kaidah yang diperlukan oleh para mufasir dalam memahami ayat-ayat Al-Qur’an. Kaidah-kaidah yang diperlukan para mufasir dalam memahami Al-Qur’an meliputi penghayatan uslub-uslub nya, pemahaman asal-asal nya, penguasaan rahasia-rahasia nya dan qaidah-qaidah kebahasaan. Kontribusi Siti Aisyah dalam Penafsiran Al Qur’an banyak menjadi referensi bagi para mufassirin, yang hasil dari penafsiran nya tersebut tertulis dalam kitab kitab Hadis, bahkan ada bagian khusus dari kitab hadis Muslim yatu bab kitab hadis tafsir. Bagaimana qawaid dan ushul tafsir siti aisyah dalam kitab hadis sahih Muslim menjadi tujuan dari penyelesaian masalah artikel ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) adalah cara sistematis untuk mengumpulkan, mengevaluasi secara kritis, mengintegrasikan dan menyajikan temuan dari berbagai studi penelitian pada pertanyaan penelitian atau topik yang menarik. SLR menyediakan cara untuk menilai tingkat kualitas bukti yang ada pada pertanyaan atau topik yang menarik. SLR memberikan tingkat pemahaman yang lebih luas dan lebih akurat daripada tinjauan literatur secara tradisional. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukan lima ayat yang ditafsirkan oleh siti aisyah dalam kitab hadis Sahih Muslim. Adapun rincian penjelasan nya bisa melihat pada bab pembahasan. Abstract

Abdullah Saeed introduced the concept of contextual findings, which he termed contextualization, by establishing a structured and systematic framework of values. This framework consists of four key steps: first, preliminary considerations; second, initiating completion; third, understanding the text's meaning; and fourth, connecting the text to the present context. In light of this, researchers delved into the awareness of contextualization, focusing on verses from the book Fathul Qulub, based on instructors in the IMM Sukoharjo cadre program. The purpose of this study was to discern a contextualized comprehension of the verses from the Fathul Qulub book within the IMM Sukoharjo cadre program. This research employed a qualitative approach, conducting field research. The participants were intermediate instructors within the IMM Sukoharjo cadre program, and the object of the study was to find verses in the Fathul Qulub book. The findings of the study revealed that instructors' interpretations of the Fathul Qulub book's verses did not align with Abdullah Saeed's contextual interpretation steps. Instead, instructors tended to directly proceed to the fourth step without completing the necessary preceding steps. This meant skipping the crucial step of linking the text's interpretation to the current context, specifically in terms of the cadre or organization. Even at this fourth step, the contextualization was not fully in line with Abdullah Saeed's theory.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore and understand the meaning of the word "wazir" in the Quran. This study employs a library research method, which requires the researcher to conduct a thorough examination of various textual sources and literature related to the word. The approach used in this research is Toshihiko Izutsu's Quranic semantic approach. The research findings indicate that the meaning of the word "wazir" in the Quran is complex, with strong connotations related to the concepts of sin and heavy or significant accountability. Understanding the word "wazir" is crucial, as it not only reflects linguistic understanding but also has profound moral and ethical implications in Islam. Semantic analysis of the word "wazir" provides insights for a deeper understanding of the moral and ethical values embedded in the Quran, as well as how this vocabulary reflects and portrays the fundamental principles of the religion in the sacred text.
