Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of students' perceptions on the application of the Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model to the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class X1 SMPN 2 Ranah Batahan Kabupaten Pasaman Barat. This research is motivated by low critical thinking skills students. The method in this research is pure experiment, with research design Noneequivalent posttest - only Control Group Design. The population in this study were students class IX SMPN 2 Ranah Batahan which consists of 3 classes. retrieval technique The sample used in this study is purposive sampling, so that The experimental class was selected, namely class IX 3 totaling 20. And the selected as the control class, namely class IX 2 totaling 20 students as research sample. The research instrument used is the final test. Test form used is an essay with test reliability is 0.901. Analysis technique The data used is the t-test. Based on the data analysis, it is obtained that tcount = 1.89 and ttable = 1.87, because tcount> ttable, then reject the Ho at a significant level of 0.05 so it can be concluded that the critical thinking skills of students who apply Collaborative Creativity (CC) learning model is better than students' critical thinking skills apply conventional learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted to test and analyze whether there is an effect of managerial ownership, dividend policy, profitability, debt policy and investment decisions on firm value. This study used secondary data from financial statements downloaded from the website www.idx.co.id, with a population of 16 companies where only 9 samples met the criteria using a purposive technique so that the data that can be processed amounts to 36 data. The research data was tested using multiple regression and hypothesis partially and simultaneously. The results of this study are managerial ownership, dividend policy and debt policy do not have an effect on firm value while profitability and investment decisions have a positive effect on firm value. Managerial ownership, dividend policy, profitability, debt policy and investment decisions together affect the company's value in the construction sector with the 2014-2017 research period.

Abstract

In an increasingly advanced digital era, the use of information and communication technology has become an inseparable part of everyday life, especially the internet. In this case, the internet functions as a two-sided sword that can provide good benefits, but can also provide bad benefits. Students as a digital native generation who grow and develop in the midst of this technological development, face various problems in managing and utilizing technology wisely. To be able to overcome these problems, the socialization team conducted socialization activities on digital ethics as an effort to improve student civic skills in facing digital challenges. The purpose of this service activity is to increase understanding of digital ethics for students. The number of socialization participants was 30 students. From the results of these activities, a post-test evaluation was carried out using a multiple choice questionnaire via google form. The questions are written in the form of essays consisting of two answers Yes or No. The results of the google form questionnaire showed that 90% of students understood the digital ethics socialization material. Thus, it can be concluded that the socialization of digital ethics helps students improve the civic skills needed to face digital challenges.

Abstract

Higher-order thinking skills are 21st-century competencies that must be mastered by students. Higher-order thinking skills can be seen in student learning outcomes. Students' higher-order thinking skills can be improved by choosing the right learning media, one of which is by using animated video media. The purpose of this study was to measure the effectiveness of animated videos to improve the high-order thinking skills of SMA Negeri 1 Silat Hulu students. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The form of study used a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects were all students of class XI IPA. The instrument used is a question of pretest-posttest. Data analysis used a t-test and N-Gain Score. The conclusions of this study are: (1) there is a significant difference between the students' higher-order thinking skills in the experimental group and the control group. This is evidenced by the independent sample t-test which obtained a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. (2) animation video media is effective in improving students' higher-order thinking skills as seen from the results of the calculation of the N-gain score of 0.61 with a moderate interpretation.

Abstract

Stroke merupakan gangguan fungsional otak akut lokal maupun global karena terhambatnya aliran darah ke otak akibat pendarahan ataupun sumbatan dengan gejala sesuai dengan bagian otak yang terkena, yang sembuh sempurna, cacat, atau kematian. Oral hygiene (kebersihan mulut) adalah sebuah usaha untuk menjaga kebersihan rongga mulut, lidah, dan gigi dari berbagai macam kotoran atau sisa makanan dengan menggunakan air bersih (Budi, 2017). Data pasien stroke pada tahun 2019 jumlah pasien stroke sebanyak 101 pasien (11,82%), pada tahun 2020 jumlah pasien stroke sebanyak 136 pasien (15,92%) dan pada tahun 2021 jumlah pasien stroke sebanyak 144 pasien (16,86%). Tujuan penelitian ini faktor – faktor yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan oral hygiene pada pasien stroke di ruang rawat inap dewasa RSUD Dr. (H.C.) Ir. Soekarno Provinsi Bangka Belitung Tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional, menganalisa dengan uji chi square. Populasi adalah semua semua perawat rawat inap dewasa. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan cluster sampling, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 89 sampel. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa faktor – faktor yang berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan oral hygiene pada pasien stroke di ruang rawat inap dewasa RSUD Dr. (H.C.) Ir. Soekarno Provinsi Bangka Belitung Tahun 2022 adalah pendidikan (p=0,014), pengetahuan (p=0,002), beban kerja (p=0,041), lama kerja (p=0,018) dan faktor paling dominan berhubungan dengan pelaksanaan oral hygiene pada pasien stroke di ruang rawat inap dewasa adalah pengetahuan (p=0,002, dan POR=4,667). Disarankan kepada petugas kesehatan agar meningkatkan pengetahuan dan tanggungjawab perawat terhadap pelaksanaan oral hygiene pada pasien yang mengalami penurunan kesadaran dan meningkatkan kesadaran perawat dalam pelaksanaan di lapangan.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze and describe the ability to understand mathematical concepts in terms of students' learning interests. The subjects of this study were class XII students at SMA Cendekia Pasaman Barat. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The instruments used were interest in learning questionnaires, test questions, and interview guidelines. The results of the interest in learning questionnaire were analyzed by grouping them into high, medium and low, the test results were analyzed based on indicators of conceptual understanding and interview results. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive statistical analysis. The results showed that students with high learning interest had high ability to understand mathematical concepts, then students with moderate and low learning interest had medium and low ability to understand mathematical concepts. Students who have high ability to understand mathematical concepts are able to achieve all indicators of understanding concepts with few errors, then students with moderate and low ability to understand mathematical concepts are unable to meet the indicators of restating a concept and applying concepts or solving algorithms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh banyaknya siswa yang melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah matematika pada materi Teorema Pythagoras berdasarkan  Tahapan Kastolan pada siswa kelas VIII.1 SMPN 3 VII Koto Sungai Sarik Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Purposive Sampling, sampel yang dianalisis sebanyak 26 orang siswa kelas VIII.1. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data berupa tes. Hasil tes dianalisis berdasarkan indikator yang ada pada jenis kesalahan Tahapan Kastolan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa berdasarkan analisis kesalahan Tahapan Kastolan terdiri dari 3 jenis kesalahan, yaitu jenis kesalahan konseptual, jenis kesalahan prosedural dan jenis kesalahan teknik. Pada jenis kesalahan konseptual siswa paling banyak melakukan kesalahan pada indikator (a) Siswa tidak dapat memilih rumus matematika yang harus digunakan untuk menyelesaikan soal dengan benar yaitu sebesar 40% dengan kategori cukup tinggi, pada jenis kesalahan prosedural siswa paling banyak melakukan kesalahan pada indikator (a) Siswa tidak bisa menuliskan langkah penyelesaian soal sesuai perintah soal yaitu sebesar 23% dengan kategori rendah, dan pada jenis kesalahan teknik siswa paling banyak melakukan kesalahan pada indikator (b) Siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam memindahkan angka atau operasi hitung dari langkah satu ke langkah berikutnya yaitu sebesar 28% dengan kategori cukup tinggi.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to investigate how Kopi Sunyi's unique approach to inclusive employment and education influences customer perceptions and fosters inclusivity. Utilizing a comprehensive research methodology, including analysis of online reviews, direct visits, and observational data, this study offers valuable insights into Kopi Sunyi's role in fostering inclusivity and challenging societal norms. Results reveal that Kopi Sunyi's commitment to providing employment opportunities and inclusive education through the Sunyi Academy program has positively influenced customer perceptions, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. The cafe's efforts in challenging societal stigmas have led to increased awareness and support for individuals with disabilities in the workforce. The findings underscore the transformative potential of inclusive business practices in promoting social inclusion and empowerment. Abstract

Antioxidants are chemicals that can inhibit or stop other molecules from oxidizing. Antioxidants can be found in the fruit known as sweet orange (Citrus sinensis). Orange peel essential oil is utilized in processed foods, medicines, cosmetics, and aromatherapy in the medical field. Therefore, the objective of this study was to identify the chemical content and antioxidant potential of sweet orange peel to be used as a lip balm. Processing sweet orange peel, steam distillation of essential oil, GC-MS analysis, formulating lip balm preparation, assessing lip balm preparation, and measuring antioxidant activity using a spectrophotometer and DPPH technique, were part of this study. Essential oil from sweet orange peel (Citrus sinensis L.) was analyzed using GC-MS (Gas Chromatography - Mass Spectroscopy), and the results obtained in this study were 1.4 - Cyclohexadiene, 1 - methyl. The lip balm formulation containing essential oil was evaluated as the most preferred formulation. The IC50 value of sweet orange peel essential oil was determined to be 85.2595386 ppm, which converts the antioxidant to strong.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low mathematics learning outcomes in terms of the results of daily mathematics tests of students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Sungai Limau. The results of these tests are influenced by the low ability of students to solve mathematical problems and the inability of students to solve non-routine problems. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to the mathematical problem-solving ability of students of class XI MIPA 1 of SMAN 1 Sungai Limau. Data collection techniques used are by giving a description test in the form of pre-test and post-test. Analysis of test data containing indicators of the ability to solve mathematical problems using the t-test. The calculation results obtained t-value = 5,57 with N = 30 and α = 0,05. While  = 1.70,  then reject H0. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to the mathematical problem-solving ability of students of class XI MIPA 1 of SMAN 1 Sungai Limau
