Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the participation of Paskibraka members influences their attitudes towards unity and tolerance amidst Indonesia's cultural diversity. Paskibraka, as a youth organization playing a crucial role in state ceremonies, not only prepares its members for ceremonial duties but also fosters the internalization of values of nationalism and tolerance. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews with Paskibraka members and field observations during their educational and training camps. The research findings indicate that participation in Paskibraka provides profound experiences for its members, where they learn to appreciate national symbols and understand the importance of unity and diversity. Paskibraka members also engage in social activities that promote national values and tolerance, significantly strengthening their national identity. The study found that the direct experience of raising the national flag and involvement in social activities enhances members' awareness of the importance of unity and tolerance, as well as developing an inclusive attitude towards cultural differences. These findings highlight the importance of supporting extracurricular programs like Paskibraka in the national education system to shape young generations with a spirit of patriotism and a commitment to diversity.

Abstract

Lecturers need motivation to conduct research that serves as the best teaching material for students. However, in the educational sector, common issues such as lack of motivation, inadequate information systems, and weak supervision often result in poor research performance. This study aims to examine the simultaneous influence of motivation, information systems, and supervision on the research performance of lecturers. The study involved 78 lecturers from the midwifery department. A quantitative approach was employed, using validated questionnaires and multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that Information systems (X1) has a t-value of -4.106, which is greater than the t-table value of 1.9917, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant effect on research performance (Y). Supervision (X2) have a t-value of 3.531, exceeding the t-table value of 1.9917, with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05, indicating a negative and significant effect on research performance (Y). motivation (X3) has a t-value of 4.719, greater than the t-table value of 1.9917, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant effect on research performance (Y). The F-value is 42.037, exceeding the critical value of 3.1203, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, showing a significant simultaneous effect of these variables on research performance. The key finding of this study is that lecturers' research performance needs to be supported by effective information systems, high motivation, and robust supervision to enhance research quality and productivity.

Abstract

The pursuit of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) has driven significant advancements in global educational practices, particularly in the areas of numeracy and literacy. This study explores innovative teaching strategies designed to enhance these foundational skills, with a focus on their role in achieving SDG targets such as equitable access to quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. The primary aim is to evaluate the effectiveness of these strategies in diverse educational contexts worldwide. A systematic literature review was conducted, analyzing data sourced from the Scopus database, covering publications from 2014 to 2024. The review included a detailed examination of 68 studies that met the inclusion criteria. The methodology involved the use of bibliometric tools like VOSviewer for mapping research themes and identifying trends in the field. The analysis revealed three major thematic clusters, highlighting the critical roles of numeracy, literacy, and their integration in educational strategies. The results indicate substantial improvements in student learning outcomes, critical thinking skills, and overall educational quality through the application of innovative teaching strategies in numeracy and literacy. These findings underscore the necessity of a holistic approach to education, integrating multiple competencies to effectively address the educational needs identified in SDG 4. The study concludes that the continued refinement and implementation of these strategies are crucial for advancing global educational objectives aligned with sustainable development. This research contributes valuable insights into the design and sustainability of educational policies and practices, offering a pathway to achieving broader educational and societal goals.

Abstract

This study explores the adaptation of Pancasila education for the digital age through hybrid training models, addressing the challenges and opportunities in this context. Pancasila, Indonesia’s philosophical foundation, is crucial in national identity and citizen development. However, traditional teaching methods are less effective in engaging the digital-era youth. The Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (BPIP) has introduced hybrid learning, combining face-to-face and online methods, which offers flexibility, increased accessibility, and enhanced engagement. Despite these advantages, challenges such as increased workload for educators, technical issues, and the need for effective course design persist. Utilizing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which emphasizes perceived usefulness and ease of use, can enhance hybrid learning environments. The study employs a comprehensive library research methodology, analyzing recent literature to identify recurring themes and gaps. Findings highlight the potential of hybrid models to make Pancasila education more relevant and engaging while addressing the need for innovative teaching strategies and technological support. Recommendations are provided for educators and policymakers to effectively implement hybrid Pancasila training, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of Pancasila values among the younger generation.
