Abstract

The defense system of the country has developed a technology which has an intelligence and an accuracy level that are high enough to help maintain the stability of the country in a more optimal state. The Cavalry Battalion combat vehicles, as one of the examples, is used to attack and demolish the enemy’s base by constructing a special formation in its movement towards the attack position based on the command of the leader in the front line. Based on the existing development of the technology, in this study, a simulation of the robot colony movement was made before the real implementation stage. In the simulation, the movement of the robot colony was designed like a Cavalry Battalion formation when it determines a track to its attack position. The colony was created by using 3 robotic simulation. The methods used included fuzzy Sugeno, robotic formation, and obstacle avoidance. The formation creation based on the instruction of the robot’s leader before and after passing the obstacle could be done by sending the coordinates of the destination which was done by the robot’s leader, coordinating the speed which was made based on the distance of each robot to another robot, and enabling the robots ability to provide the movements decision itself when it passed through the obstacle. The average errors of follower robot A toward the target goal given by its leader of the X-axis was 4,834%, and 1,905% on the Y axis. The average error of follower robot B the target goal given by its leader of the X-axis was 3,974% and 2,415% on the Y axis.

Abstract

Embedded electronic control system applied by car manufacturers on car engines manufactured today are ECU (Electronic Control Unit). Every car brand has a different ECU. To be able to diagnose car engine damage from a variety brands of car need a cheap diagnostic scanner and compatible with many brands of car.In order for technician from not official car manufacturers workshop can make a diagnostic and repair the damage of car engines from variety brands with ease, perform realtime monitoring and can do datalogging parameter values of sensor data in the SD card when realtime monitoring process, then made a General Diagnostic Scanner system for access car ECU with OBD-2 serial communication at affordable cost.Based on the test results showed that OBD-2 serial communication along with the compatible data retrival of ECU parameters between GDS system with  Chevrolet estate 2009 and Ford fiesta 2012 cars ECU that consist of OBD-2 ISO 9141-2 and ISO 15765 (CAN) communication protocol can do 100% success with 7 compatible ECU parameters in Chevrolet estate and 100% success with 9 compatible ECU parameters (all parameters) in Ford fiesta. In ECU realtime monitoring testing, GDS system can do realtime monitoring with an average error 5,01% in Chevrolet estate for 7 ECU parameters and 5,86 % in Ford fiesta for 9 ECU parameters. And from damage diagnostic testing result, GDS system can do car engine damage diagnostic with success when in idle condition and when the car in running position for speed parameter in Chevolet estate and Ford fiesta cars that give warning “melebihi batas normal” when excedded threshold limit of normal engine cars limit which has been adapted for the consideration of testing. In datalogging testing, GDS system cannot do datalogging process and not success for save realtime monitoring data process into SDHC card.Keywords: ECU, Diagnostic, Realtime Monitoring, Datalogging, General Diagnostic Scanner.

Abstract

Blood pressure measuring device is one of the tools people use to measure blood pressure. Therefore, many of the technologies used to develop a blood pressure measuring device. This study has been designed a blood pressure data transmission on android using a Bluetooth connection. The blood pressure measuring device can measure blood pressure using a pressure sensor MPX 5100DP. Then the data is processed by microcontroller and displayed on the LCD and also on android by the bluetooth connection with HC-05. In this study obtained average systolic measurement error is equal to 3.687% and the average diastolic measurement error is equal to 4.768%.

Abstract

Currently many farmers who use bran-breaking machine on the market, but there is a disadvantage that efiensi usage. In this study bran crusher motor to drive breaker controlled amount of paddy rice that gets broken skin. For his future is expected this study can be used to help farmers in order to regulate fuel efficiency. The purpose of the design and manufacture of these devices is How to improve engine performance broke the skin becomes automatic. How to make a fuzzy system to control the speed of the motor. How to create a user interface that is easy to use by the user. After further investigation the author uses the methods used in this problem is the fuzzy method, because it is flexible in the sense that the method is able to adapt to the changes that are influenced by the environment. Fuzzy method is divided into three methods: mamdani, Sugeno, and sukamoto. In this case I use the Sugeno method for research. There are several processes through which to control the motor speed breaker bran. The process is fuzzyfikasi, ruleset, and defuzzyfication. Through the process is expected to be the motor rotates in accordance with the amount of rice in the bin. The result of the process is a fuzzy PWM value (Pulse Width Modulation), and will be displayed on the LCD. From this study, the motor moves faster when rice is very much in the bin, the more slowly when the rice in the bin on the wane. And will stop when there are no rice in the bin.

Abstract

Mobile robot is a type of robot that is able to move from one point to another. Mobile robot detects the surrounding objects and process it with the courtesy of webcam. With this particular superiority, mobile robot can facilitate human’s work. One of the human’s work that can be facilitated by mobile robot is any works within security field. Security tools used up until now is a surveillance camera, which has a downside of blind spots. Mobile robot is able to facilitate human’s works with goals of strengthen the security by reducing blind spots.Along with the concerned mobile robot, the author would like to establish a robot that is capable to follow human while walking. The type of mobile robot used in this research is Robotino. The robot follows the human the time when the webcam detected human bodies. The robot’s webcam then, process the image received so that it can detect human bodies using image processing with Haar-like feature method. Then, the robot approaches the human body target that is already detected, using fuzzy logic to control the movement of robot.The human body tracking is capable to detect human body with the most effective detection range of 1-4 meters from the webcam of the robot. The robot is also able to perform tracking towards human bodies with the error rate of 9.6515875 %.

Abstract

Pada saat ini locker masih menggunakan kunci manual dan harus ada penjaga jika ingin meminjam atau mengembalikan kunci locker. Dengan kondisi seperti itu, jika penjaga tidak ditempat, maka tidak bisa meminjam atau mengembalikan kunci locker. Maka dirancang  sebuah sistem pemilihan secara acak locker yang belum terpakai oleh user sehingga user tidak hanya mendapatkan locker yang sama. Penjaga kunci lockertidak diperlukan dalam peminjaman atau pengembalian kunci.Perancangan tugas akhir ini menggunakan metode pemilihan locker secara otomatis dengan input utama menggunakan RFID. Sistem ini dibuat untuk mempermudah user dalam memilih locker yang belum terpakai oleh user lain atau masih kosong. Sistem ini menggunakan 3 buah mikrokontroler, yaitu Arduino Uno sebagai master dan 2 buah mikrokontroler ATMega32 sebagai slave. Digunakan komunikasi I2C sebagi penghubung mikrokontroler master dan slave. Masing-masing mikrokontroler akan menjadi pusat kendali komponen input dan output yang terhubung pada mikrokontroler tersebut.Sistem dapat digunakan oleh semua user yang memiliki kartu RFID atau tag RFID. Komunikasi I2C yang berjalan dengan baik menghasilkan kondisi-kondisi yang memungkinkan terjadi saat sistem dijalankan. Terdapat 5 kondisi yang berhubungan dengan dengan pembuktian acak nomer locker, ID dari tag RFID yang terdaftar dan tidak terdaftar, akses nomer locker yang sama untuk ID dari tag RFID yang terdaftar, serta kondisi-kondisi yang memungkinkan untuk ID dari tag RFID yang belum terdaftar yang mungkin terjadi.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, smartphone sudah tidak menjadi barang mewah lagi, sudah menjadi sebuah hal wajar. Smartphone memiliki banyak fungsi yang bermanfaat bagi penggunanya, salah satunya adalah sebagai “Personal Location Detection”. “Personal Location Detection” adalah sebuah sistem yang dapat menentukan lokasi pengguna dalam suatu lokasi, dengan menggunakan sinyal GPS (Global Positioning System), atau singkatnya GeoLocation. Sistem ini biasa digunakan dalam aplikasi peta dan navigasi untuk smartphone, contohnya Google Maps. Aplikasi Google Maps memiliki fitur Indoor Maps, dimana pengguna dapat mengetahui peta lokal suatu lokasi atau bangunan. Fitur ini masih memanfaatkan sinyal GPS sebagai penunjuk lokasi, dimana kendalanya adalah kurang akuratnya peletakan penunjuk lokasi. Penulis dalam Tugas Akhir ini mencoba mencari alternatif dari GPS sebagai penunjuk lokasi dalam peta lokal agar dapat memiliki akurasi lebih tinggi, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan accelerometer sensor dan orientation sensor yang tertanam pada smartphone, kemudian diimplementasikan pada sebuah minimap sebagai peta lokal. Aplikasi “Personal Location Detection” menggunakan accelerometer sensor dan orientation sensor dengan metode deteksi gerakan dan deteksi arah untuk menentukan pergerakan penanda lokasi pada minimap. Aplikasi ini memiliki tingkat keakuratan yang baik apabila digunakan seperti skenario 1, yaitu berjalan dengan langkah normal dengan rata-rata error sebesar 0.7075 meter untuk deteksi gerakan dan rata-rata error sebesar 1.66667 derajat untuk deteksi arah.

Abstract

Driving License is proof of registration and identification provided by the POLRI to a rider who has met the requirements. This time the author will focus on practice exams procedures of C driving license, where graduated or not the applicant of C driving license depends on his skill on driving a motor vehicle while passing through the barriers that are provided. At this time the process of making C driving license is always maintained and assessed by several officers. Therefore, the author will make the assessment system of C driving license practice exams that have been computerized. Value capturing is based on the stability of the vehicle speed and the number of times an applicant to touch / hit the road divider peg that has been determined. Then the breach data of the driving license applicant will be sent to officer’s computer that is shown on application created with Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0. Based on the results of the final test on this research, the application of practice exams assessment succeeded to detect violations on the peg / barrier pole trajectory, the application successfully measures the speed of the vehicle as it passed and applications can save participants’ data.

Abstract

AC motors are often used for task that require a large torque. One of AC motors application is to drive conveyors that is used to transport material between processes. PID is used to control motor’s speed according to the material’s weight. We use microcontroller ATmega32 to perform PID. Abstract

Pertumbuhan transportasi dan kebutuhan angkutan jasa dan barang setiap tahunnya selalu bertambah, khususnya pada angkutan jalan raya. Data pada tahun 2011 dan 2012 pertumbuhan transportasi jalan raya rata-rata mengalami pertumbuhan sebesar 12 %, yang meliputi kendaraan mobil penumpang, bus, kendaraan barang, sepeda motor dan kendaraan khusus.              Jalan tol yang merupakan jalan bebas hambatan banyak dipilih pengendara untuk menhindari kemacetan yang terjadi di jalan raya. Dengan jumlah transportasi yang terus bertambah tidak menutup kemungkinan akan menyebabkan kemacetan pada jalan tol terutama waktu melakukan pembayaran pada gerbang keluar jalan tol.              Automatic Vehicle Classification atau AVC adalah sistem yang digunakan untuk mendeteksi jenis suatu kendaraan yang melewati jalan tanpa adanya interaksi dengan pengemudi atau seorang pengamat manusia. Dalam hal ini AVC dapat diterapkan pada pengoperasian pada jalan tol, dimana AVC berfungsi mendeteksi jenis golongan kendaraan berdasarkan jumlah gardan (As roda) dengan memanfaatkan pijakan ban kendaraan sebagai “Sensor”. Karakteristik dari roda (double wheels) dan ketinggian kendaraan juga dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengklasifikasian.              Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakaukan didapatkan hasil rata-rata keberhasilan sistem Automatic Vehicle Classification dalam mengklasifikasikan berbagai kendaraan sesuai ketentuan jenis golongan kendaraan jalan tol sebesar 85 % dan error sebesar 15 %.
