Abstract

The Sumberejo Village Office is tasked with carrying out government, development and community affairs, as well as carrying out public services in the field of Population Administration based on Demak Regency Regional Regulation Number 10 of 2014, one of which is serving community administration. During the PPKM period there were various obstacles in determining the target strategy for targeting poor people who would be given social assistance, so far the process of collecting data on poor families is currently carried out by each RT manually on writing paper, to then be given to Village staff, there are obstacles in processes related to the length of time each RT provides data information and preparing data recapitulation reports. Apart from that, there are other obstacles related to the process of determining the provision of poor funds because there is no simulation of the calculation method. By supporting decisions to provide funds for underprivileged communities using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method which can later support determining assistance for the community. The criteria used in providing PKH funds are education, employment, income, status, age, residence, health and number of children.

This analysis aims to determine the quality of business performance based on entrepreneurial orientation and business strategy. The method in this research is to take samples randomly using the Slovin formula as many as 90 respondents. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and verification which consists of the classical assumption test of multiple regression analysis. The results of the research based on verification analysis show that business strategy partially has a significant effect on business performance and entrepreneurial orientation and simultaneously affects business performance and descriptive analysis states that the respondent's response is good enough for business strategy and entrepreneurial orientation, which indicates a good response of respondents to performance. their business, and for entrepreneurial orientation partially significant effect on business performance. Abstract

The recording of raw material orders in PT.XYZ must be done through the embedded ERP system in the company, Microsoft Dynamics GP. However, the system is not perfect as it is not suitable for workers who follow traditional practices. To avoid losing goods, PT XYZ has started implementing kit recording, but a shortage of workers who enter KIT data can lead to human error. To overcome this, PT XYZ can automate the printing of KIT using VBA in Microsoft Excel. VBA allows applications to work more efficiently by easily manipulating object models. Excel macros support VBA programming and enhance the flexibility of the programming language. A well-organized VBA Excel application can produce a KIT list by pulling data from the production order sheet attached to the bus chassis as it moves on the production line. Once the specifications for a bus body to be produced are obtained, the user can edit and click one button to get the KIT that is suitable for that bus. Therefore, VBA in Excel can help PT XYZ improve the recording of raw material orders and reduce human errors that can cause financial losses.

Abstract

Supply chain management encompasses the study of efficiency and effectiveness in material, information, and monetary flow within the industrial sector. Assessing performance is pivotal in gauging a company's managerial capacities. At PT Otsuka Indonesia, research was undertaken during an internship, involving observations and interviews. Subsequently, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) were formulated, covering aspects such as accuracy in raw material usage, precision in production level planning, frequency of production plan changes, source cycle time, finished product quality, make cycle time, delivery cycle time, precision in avoiding delays in finished goods delivery, and return of finished goods. Snorm de Boer normalization was applied to calculate the KPIs, generating performance results for each indicator. Determining the ultimate performance involved weighting via the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, assigning significance levels to each KPI. Post data processing, it was evident that the finished product quality indicator had the lowest value. Consequently, improvement proposals were designed using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method. These proposals culminated in the development of warning sticker designs for machine cleaning, comprehensive Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, and scales rechecking.

Abstract

The fiber department is one of the departments in the PT XYZ produces bus panels and appliances. Based on the fiber production data on August 1 - September 23, 2022, there are 92 defects out of 547 products. It is important to analyze the root cause of the failure in the production process. There are seven types of defects in the manufacturing process that is, fiber is too thick or thin, the fiber surface is rough, fiber has white spots, fiber needs a long time to dry, fiber rejects (liquid/burn), the putty result is imperfect, and the paint is imperfect. The root cause analysis was conducted using Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method. Based on FTA, defective products can be caused by human, machine, or equipment factors. From that, it will be used for improvement recommendations to improve the quality. Examples of the corrective recommendations are periodic drain engine water, emptying water form, products-checkout form, and roll-cleaning form, using a measuring cup for the catalyst, and a new container for acetone.

Abstract

PT X is a manufacturing company operating in the integrated cardboard industry, utilizing various machines, including flexography machines. This study aims to analyze the primary causes of production deficiencies in the flexography process and provide improvement recommendations using the Six Big Losses-based Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method. The OEE analysis revealed that the average availability ratio is 88.8%, falling short of the world-class standard of 90%. A deeper analysis using the Six Big Losses methodology identified that the primary cause for not achieving the desired availability ratio is the high percentage of setup and adjustment losses, which stands at 7%. To address these issues, several recommendations are proposed. Firstly, conducting comprehensive training for operators on the proper and correct operation of flexography machines is essential. This training will enhance their technical skills and reduce the time lost during setup and adjustments. Secondly, implementing daily briefings for operators before shifts begin, coupled with regular supervision, will ensure consistent adherence to operational standards. Moreover, establishing a routine and time-limited cleaning schedule for machines and work locations will minimize unexpected downtimes due to maintenance issues. Finally, developing and enforcing standardized machine operation protocols will promote discipline among operators, ensuring that all procedures are followed meticulously. These recommendations aim to improve the overall efficiency of flexography machines, thereby increasing the availability ratio to meet or exceed the world-class standard. By addressing the root causes of production inefficiencies, PT X can enhance its operational performance and maintain its competitive edge in the cardboard industry.

Abstract

This study focuses on two primary aspects of investigation. Firstly, it examines the digital methods that Small to Medium Tourism Enterprises (SMTEs) utilize and collaborative patterns with branding strategies to cultivate halal tourism villages. It employs a qualitative descriptive approach within the social phenomenology framework. Secondly, it identifies the most suitable alternative for SMTEs’ development using a Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The research concludes that enhancing SMTEs involves a multifaceted approach, including effective planning, digital transformation, fostering collaboration, and investing in halal-friendly infrastructure with standardization in halal certification. Through a qualitative approach and QSPM analysis, the study identifies strategic priorities like collaborative partnerships, religious reputation culture implementation, and digital tourism promotion as crucial strategies for SMTEs’ success. This research significantly contributes to the development of halal tourism enterprises by involving a unique context, employing less common methodology, and focusing on sustainable development. The limitations of this study pertain to the impact of uncontrollable external changes, while the future research agenda explores predictive modeling and regional comparisons to advance further the understanding of strategy outcomes in halal tourism development.
