Abstract

Natural sacred sites are areas that possess cultural and spiritual significance within the community. The village forest around the Sumber Sirah is a natural sacred site. Currently, part of the forest area has changed its function to become a tourist area integrated with spring tourism. This may lead to changes in the structure and composition of the vegetation in the area. The purpose of this study was to analyze the structure of the vegetation composition between natural and changed vegetation for tourism activities. This research was conducted in Putukrejo Village, Gondanglegi District, Malang Regency, East Java. Data collection was carried out by making 20 x 20 m2 sample plots for vegetation that has a tree habitus. 10 x 10 m2 for pole habitus, 5 x 5 m2 for sapling habitus, 2 x 2 m2 for seedling habitus and herb/ground cover. The results of the vegetation analysis then determine the importance value index (IVI), Shannon-Weiner index (H'), evenness index (E'), dominance index (id), and endemism (End). Based on the research results, the composition of plants differs between natural areas and tourist areas. Specifically, 35 species were identified in the natural area, while 20 species were found in the tourist area. The value of endemism in areas that are still natural for all habitus is in the high category, where the vegetation composition is generally found in lowland forests. In contrast, the composition of tourist areas is dominated by cultivated plants and some introduced species. The Shannon-Wiener diversity index, both natural and tourist, is in the moderate category. The evenness index falls within the moderate to high category, and the dominance index is classified as high.

Abstract

Degradasi moral di kalangan remaja semakin kompleks di era modern, dipengaruhi oleh kemajuan teknologi, melemahnya peran keluarga, serta paparan budaya global yang berlawanan dengan nilai agama dan tradisi. Fenomena ini ditandai dengan menurunnya sopan santun, meningkatnya individualisme, dan munculnya berbagai kasus kekerasan di lingkungan pendidikan. Untuk merespons tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini menganalisis strategi integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan kearifan lokal Jawa Hasthalaku melalui program Sekolah Adipangastuti di SMA Negeri 1 Tengaran. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, serta analisis data model Miles dan Huberman dengan triangulasi untuk menjaga validitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi nilai Hasthalaku—meliputi gotong royong, guyub rukun, grapyak semanak, lembah manah, ewuh pakewuh, pangerten, andhap asor, dan tepa selira—dilakukan melalui jalur intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler. Proses ini diperkuat dengan keteladanan guru, pembiasaan budaya sekolah, serta evaluasi berlapis pada tingkat individu, kegiatan, dan budaya sekolah. Dampaknya tampak pada peningkatan sikap religius-sosial siswa, seperti sopan santun, toleransi, kepedulian, dan semangat kebersamaan. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi nilai Islam dengan Hasthalaku merupakan strategi efektif dalam pendidikan karakter kontekstual, relevan untuk memperkuat identitas kebangsaan sekaligus membentuk generasi berakhlak mulia yang mampu bersaing di era global.

Abstract

The goals of this study are to ascertain (1) whether there is an effect of learning motivation and learning behavior, partially or simultaneously, on students’ GPA. The study's methodology is quantitative and correlational in nature. The population of this study was 117 IRE students from the 2022 batch of Universitas Islam Negeri Salatiga, and a sample of 60 students was selected using a stratified sampling method. According to the study's findings, there is no correlation between learning motivation and students’ GPA (significantly 0,719), no correlation between learning behavior and students’ GPA (significantly 0,382), and no correlation between motivation and learning behavior simultaneously with students’ GPA (significantly 0,579). The variables of motivation and learning behavior can only explain 1.9% of the students’ GPA, while the remaining 98.1% is influenced by other factors not examined. Therefore, in conclusion, motivation and learning behavior do not significantly influence student achievement index, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali dan memahami dampak body shaming terhadap tingkat kepercayaan diri seseorang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa body shaming merupakan tindakan mencela atau mengkritik bentuk tubuh orang lain yang dianggap tidak sesuai dengan standar tubuh ideal pada umumnya. Ketidakpuasan terhadap bentuk tubuh diartikan sebagai pandangan individu yang merasa penampilannya tidak memenuhi standar pribadi, yang muncul akibat persepsi negatif terhadap diri sendiri. Penelitian ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa body shaming dapat dialami oleh siapa saja dan memiliki dampak terhadap penurunan rasa percaya diri.

Abstract

Breast cancer is the second most prevalent type of cancer and one of the leading causes of mortality. Efforts to reduce mortality rates can be achieved by empowering patients to manage symptoms caused by cancer and the side effects of treatment therapies. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of empowerment education in increasing self-efficacy in breast cancer patients. The study employed a systematic review of eight articles sourced from various databases, including ProQuest, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, Sage Journal, Google Scholar, and PubMed. A total of 8,693 articles were retrieved from seven databases. After screening based on inclusion criteria, 638 articles were deemed eligible. Based on the selection of titles, abstracts, and full texts, 22 articles were chosen, and after duplicate elimination, 10 articles were analyzed using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) quality assessment tool. The analysis results indicated that the empowerment approach is effective in improving self-efficacy and quality of life in breast cancer patients. By utilizing empowerment education, healthcare professionals can provide holistic support to patients, improve therapeutic outcomes, and reduce breast cancer mortality rates. This study recommended the integration of empowerment education as an essential component of breast cancer management in various healthcare facilities.

Abstract

Bhakti Persada Building is one of the main buildings at Ma Chung University that serves as a place for the lecture process and student activities. Every room of Bhakti Persada Building has an AC that is on every day and there are very adequate windows and vents. The study aims to provide thermal comfort to the space users by measure temperature, humidity, and wind speed before and after the engineering of space facilities using SNI 6390: 2011 for temperature and humidity as well as the MENKES No.261 / MENKES / SK / 11/1998 standard for wind speed. In addition, this study was also conducted by paying attention to environmental issues, especially energy utilization, so that later it will be obtained scheduling to use of air conditioners as well as the efficiency of the use of electrical energy after the engineering of space facilities. The results of thermal comfort analysis after engineering the room facilities, obtained the time zone of the lecture room using a propeller fan is the time zone I and II for all sizes of lecture rooms while for time zone III all lecture rooms will use air conditioning because the temperature increases ± 0, 5 ° C, and for time zone IV lecture rooms with sizes 5 x 9 m, 6 x 9 m and 8 x 9 m the second floor will use a fan and a room size 8 x 9 m and 10 x 9 m third floor will use AC. After the engineering of space facilities, it was also found that the efficiency of the use of electrical energy in the lecture hall of the Bhakti Persada Building was 53%.

Abstract

The focus in this article is to reveal: (1) The purpose of participating in dual skills programs; (2) Effectiveness of In Service Training 1 (In-1); (3) Effectiveness of In Service Training 2 (In-2); (4) Competence Pedagogic and Dual Professional Teacher Skills. Dual Skills Program is the addition of assignments and functions of teachers from normative and adaptive teachers plus the task of teaching productive expertise competencies, carried out for 12 months using the On-In-On-In learning model. Type of case study research with multi-case study design. The results of this study (1) Motivation of teachers to participate in dual skills programs to obtain educator certificates and anticipate shortages of hours; (2) Implementation of In-Service Training 1 is quite effective; (3) Implementation of In Service Training 2 (In-2) is quite effective;  (4) In general On-In-On-In training is quite effective; (5) Teacher competency after training is quite good. Constraints that occur are difficult to divide the teaching time and tasks from training dual skills programs which are quite a lot. To the development of science, especially vocational education, the results of this study are expected to be used as one of the comparative studies on the theory of the effectiveness of On-In-On-In training in obtaining dual related skills: (a) The purpose of participating in a dual expertise program (b) Effectiveness of In Service Training 1 (In-1), (c) Effectiveness of In Service Training 2 (In-2), (d) Competence of Dual Skills Teachers Post-On-In-On-In Training.

Abstract

Practical learning at Vocational High Schools (SMK) before the Covid-19 pandemic has left a problem, namely a lack of competence. In particular, in the metal casting practicum using the sand casting method, students still have many difficulties in recognizing and using the tools and materials found in the laboratory. This study aims to develop learning media for metal casting using the virtual laboratory-based sand casting method. The development model used is the waterfall software development model. The steps contained in the development of this model consist of (1) analysis of material requirements, practical equipment, occupational safety and health equipment and users; (2) product design in accordance with the results of the previous analysis; (3) Coding of the developed learning media. This coding requires Unity 3D software. Last is (4) testing

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat Analisa terhadap mindset para wirausaha Lulusan SMK Pemesinan yang berfokus pada konsep elaborating mindset, implementing mindset dan compulsiveness. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan pedekatan kualitatif. Sumber data diperoleh  dari empat pemilik usaha dengan metode wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan dengan model interaktif yang terdiri dari data collection, data reduction, data display dan conclusion drawing and verifying. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep elaborating mindset yang ditemukan meliputi skills, keinginan untuk mandiri, keinginan menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan, serta dukungan dari teman dan keluarga. Sedangkan untuk melihat alasan yang digunakan dalam mempertimbangkan layak atau tidaknya sebuah usaha adalah skills, ada dan tidaknya kompetitor, modal, motivasi dan jenis usaha. Adapun Konsep implementing mindset terdiri dari cara mengidentifikasi target didapatkan melalui perkembangan pasar, permintaan customer, pesaing, mitra/teman, internet, media sosial dan instruksi dari kantor pusat, sedangkan strategi/rencana dalam meraih tujuan dengan mendalami dan mengembangkan skills, memperbanyak pengalaman di bidang usaha yang sejalan dengan skills, mempersiapkan modal usaha, membangun jaringan bisnis/relasi. Analisis yang terakhir diketahui bahwa skills, modal, dan peluang menjadi faktor yang mempengaruhi konsep compulsiveness.

Abstract

The role of Baitul Hikmah of the Abbasid dynasty in the development of Islamic education can be seen in several ways: (1) Baitul Hikmah as a library that accommodates a collection of books and manuscripts by scholars; (2) Baitul Hikmah as a center for translating foreign language written works converted into Arabic; (3) Baitul Hikmah as an educational institution in which there are scientific discussions and science teaching classes; (4) Baitul Hikmah as an astronomical observatory that studies stars and scientific studies; and (5) Baitul Hikmah as a center for studies and essays. The authors of the books were given permission by the caliph to conduct studies and author books there. This made it easier for the caliph to monitor the activities of the ragers. But when the Mongols invaded Baghdad, they burned the city of Baghdad and burned the books in the Jerusalem of Wisdom until they were gone. Baitul Hikmah was razed to the ground until there was nothing left.
