Abstract

The Makassar City Central Market resulted in large losses for street street vendorsa fire occursforcing city governments to formulate effective relocation strategies. This research aims to evaluate innovative relocation strategies implemented as a solution to restore the economic conditions of street vendors after the fire. Through a participatory approach, the city government involves traders in the planning and implementation of relocation, ensuring that their needs and aspirations are met. Meringue with approach consultation and public participation, by providing brother strategic areas, adequate facilities, and den empowerment approach training and business assistance to help traders adapt to the new environment. Building partnerships by strengthening available support, while regular monitoring and evaluation ensures program sustainability. The research results show that this strategy has succeeded in restoring and redeveloping the street vendor economic sector, creating a more stable and sustainable market environment. These findings emphasize the importance of a comprehensive and collaborative approach in dealing with crises, and provide practical guidance for local governments in dealing with similar situations in the future.

Abstract

The problem of limited land is one of the obstacles in increasing agricultural commodity production. One way to overcome the problem of limited land is to implement sustainable agriculture. Efforts to increase chili production can be done in various ways, one of those is planting in polybags by adjusting the composition of the appropriate planting media. This is also the way of implementing sustainable agriculture. This community service aims to study the effect of the combination of the number of plants per polybag and the composition of the planting media on the growth and yield of chili plants (Capsicum sp.).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the adsorption kinetic model of Cd(II) from aqueous solution using Surfactant Modified Activated Carbon-Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SMAC-SLS). This study began by varying pH, contact time, and adsorbate concentration. The concentration of Cd(II) was measured using a spectrophotometric method. The results of the analysis showed that the optimum pH occurred at pH 5 with an adsorption percentage of 84.58±1.44% and the optimum contact time at 100 minutes with an adsorption percentage of 88.75±1.5%. Furthermore, in the variation of adsorbate concentration, the adsorption percentage decreased with increasing adsorbate concentration. The adsorption kinetics followed a pseudo second order with an R2 value of 0.9945 with an adsorption capacity of 8.89 mg/g. Thus, the use of SMAC-SLS as a future adsorbent for Cd(II) is highly recommended.

Abstract

This article discusses Qur'an-based environmental conservation counseling and strengthening Qur'anic values on ecology and conservation verses in Sembalun Bumbung, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggra. The purpose of this activity is to raise public awareness of the importance of preserving the environment and provide an understanding of how the Qur'an provides guidance in protecting nature. The methods used in this extension activity are lectures and group discussions. The results showed that this activity succeeded in increasing people's knowledge and awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and encouraging them to implement Qur'anic values in their daily lives to preserve the environment. Keywords: extension, conservation, ecological verse, qur;anic value.

Abstract

Clustering is a statistical method used to group data based on certain similar characteristics, particularly in the context of complex and diverse data. This study aims to cluster districts/cities in West Java Province based on infrastructure indicators, namely access to clean water, sanitation, electricity, and energy, using the K-Modes clustering method. The data used is categorical data sourced from SUSENAS West Java 2023. The cluster analysis resulted in four distinct clusters, each representing significant differences in infrastructure characteristics across regions. The first cluster consists of 8 regions, the second cluster includes 7 regions, the third cluster consists of 1 region, and the fourth cluster contains 11 regions. These characteristic differences among clusters indicate infrastructure disparities that need to be addressed in planning more equitable development to improve the quality of life of people in West Java

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui strategi kebijakan pengembangan kompetensi pegawai dalam menata sistem manajemen sumber daya manusia yang efektif menjadi prioritas strategis bagi Kantor Pertanahan Kota Makassar untuk menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan mampu beradaptasi dengan dinamika pelayanan publik dalam mempertahankan zona integritas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dengan cara memahami teori dari berbagai literatur dengan menyusun berbagai rumusan permasalahan yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari analisis yang dilakukan, terlihat bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan yang berkelanjutan dilakukan melalui program pelatihan reguler yang dirancang khusus untuk meningkatkan keterampilan teknis dan nonteknis pegawai, seperti pelatihan aplikasi my sertifikat dan pelatihan lisensi drone dan kepemimpinan. Penilaian kebutuhan pelatihan dilakukan secara sistematis untuk mengidentifikasi kesenjangan keterampilan dan mencocokkannya dengan kebutuhan organisasi. Strategi kebijakan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pegawai BPN Kota Makassar yang profesional, produktif, dan responsif, serta mendukung terciptanya sistem manajemen sumber daya manusia yang lebih modern dan transparan dalam mempertahankan zona integritas. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa dengan cara ini, Kantor Pertanahan Kota Makassar bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan publik agar menjadi lebih baik dan berkelanjutan dalam mempertahankan zona bebas korupsi dan nepotisme sehingga pelayanan publik lebih meningkat. Kata Kunci : Strategi Kebijakan, Pengembangan Kompetensi, Penataan Manajemen   SDM, Zona Integritas

Abstract

The ma'balla tradition in Kaluppini Village, Enrekang Regency, is a unique communal eating ritual that embodies Islamic educational values. This study, employing a descriptive qualitative method through interviews, observations, and documentation with local leaders and the community, explores the faith, moral, psychological, and social aspects. Ma'balla highlights faith through collective prayers, instills morality by ensuring equality in food distribution, and fosters social education through the spirit of cooperation involving the entire community. A notable feature is the active involvement of men in food preparation, reflecting a rare practice of gender equality in such traditions. Beyond preserving cultural heritage, ma'balla serves as a medium for teaching Islamic values, strengthening social bonds, and maintaining the cultural identity of the Kaluppini community. This tradition demonstrates how local wisdom can integrate spiritual and communal values, offering a meaningful model for Islamic education rooted in cultural practices.

Abstract

The productivity of stingless bees in Indonesia is hindered by farmers' limited knowledge of proper beekeeping techniques, such as colony splitting and hive optimization. This community service program aimed to improve productivity by training farmers on effective colony splitting and introducing optimal hive models. Activities included problem identification, material delivery, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation. The hive model used had dimensions of 15x15x20 cm for the lower section and 30x30x8 cm for the upper topping, supporting colony sustainability. Results showed 70% of farmers had 1-10 years of beekeeping experience, with 60% owning 1-20 colonies. Colony splitting was the main method for increasing colonies (40%), while 70% of farmers harvested honey 1-2 times per year. Training evaluations highlighted improved farmer understanding of colony splitting and hive use, offering practical solutions to enhance stingless bee productivity through better beekeeping practices

Abstract

Arabic is a language that has many specialties and a high position in Islam. In addition to Arabic as a language of communication, Arabic is also the language of religion. This research aims to provide an overview and knowledge of the role of Arabic in the development of Islamic civilization. The method used in this research While the method that the author uses in this research, namely using qualitative research methods that are descriptive analysis. Using materials from previous research, by doing library research. As for how to collect data from books and journals related to the material, as well as research materials that examine and discuss the development of the Arabic language. Also, materials and data that discuss the Arabic language itself both its development and its decline in the development of Islamic civilization. The results of this study indicate that Arabic has a role in the development of Islamic civilization, namely Arabic is the language of the Qur'an, the language of prayer, the language of Hadith, Arabic is also an international language, Arabic also acts as a cultural heritage and Arabic also acts as the administrative language of the country, with the role that Arabic has in the life of Islamic society, of course it will be an important role in building Islamic civilization from time to time.Keywords: Arabic Language, Islamic Development, Islamic CivilizationBahasa Arab merupakan bahasa yang mempunyai banyak keistimewaaan dan kedudukan yang tinggi dalam islam. Selain bahasa arab sebagai bahasa komunikasi, bahasa Arab juga merupakan bahasa Agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran dan pengetahuan tentang peran bahasa Arab dalam perkembangan peradaban Islam. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Sedangkan metode yang penulis gunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat analisi deskriptif. Menggunakan bahan-bahan dari penelitian sebelumnya, dengan melakukan penelitian pustaka. Adapun caranya dengan mengumpulkan data-data dari buku buku dan jurnal yang berhubungan materi tersebut, serta bahan peneliti yang meneliti dan membahas tentang perkembangan bahasa Arab. Juga bahan serta data-data yang membahas tentang bahasa Arab itu sendiri baik perkembangan maupun kemundurannya dalam perkembangan peradaban Agama Islam. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Bahasa Arab memiliki peran dalam perkembangan peradaban islam yaitu Bahasa Arab merupakan Bahasa Al-Qur’an, Bahasa Shalat, Bahasa Hadits, Bahasa Arab juga sebagai bahasa internasional, bahasa arab juga berperan sebagai warisan budaya dan bahasa arab juga berperan sebagai bahasa administrative negara, dengan peran yang dimiliki oleh bahasa arab tersebut dalam kehidupan masyarakan islam, tentunya akan menjadi peran penting dalam membangun peradaban islam dari masa kemasa.Kata Kunci: Bahasa Arab, Perkembangan Islam, Peradaban Agama Islam

Abstract

This Real Work Lecture (KKN) activity aims to help develop Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Branta Tinggi Village, Tlanakan, through implementing digital marketing strategies. MSMEs have an important role in the village economy, but are often less than optimal in utilizing digital technology to expand markets and increase sales. Therefore, the KKN team focuses on providing training and assistance to MSMEs regarding the use of social media, creating promotional content, and utilizing e-commerce platforms. The methods used include an initial survey to identify the needs of MSMEs, direct training, and evaluation of the success of implementing digital marketing strategies. The results of this activity show an increase in MSME actors' understanding of digital marketing and an increase in market reach and sales of their products. It is hoped that the application of digital marketing can continue to be developed to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs in Branta Tinggi Village.
