Abstract

This study has a perception that tax justice affects personal taxpayers at KPP Pratama Makassar Utara. The statistical method used to test the hypothesis is multiple regression. The results showed that the perception of tax justice has a positive and significant effect on taxpayer comments. The better tax justice, the more taxpayers will be in paying taxes. the level of individual taxpayers on the dimension of perceived tax justice by self-interest.

Abstract

Wiasata Matta Bullu Village in Soppeng Regency is a tourism village that is managed independently by the local community in collaboration with BUMDES to form a tourist awareness group (POKDARWIS). The tourist attraction found in the village is the location of the village above an altitude area with beautiful natural scenery, a cool climate, mountainous topography, hills and valleys where the forest is still beautiful, people's livelihoods are generally gardening with grain crops and vegetables, and villages in general with traditional Bugis houses. The type of business in the tourism sector that the community has started is in the form of a waterfall tourist attraction as a recreational location, a creative coffee business named Kopi Matta Bullu, the Petta Bulu Matanre Cemetery as a place of pilgrimage, and homestays (community houses that are rented out to tourists). The dedication of the Department of Archeology at FIB Unhas in 2023 helps the local community manage the cultural heritage (Petta Bulu Mintasre grave) as a tourist attraction with a preservation and sustainable perspective. The result of this assistance is that the local community understands how to preserve cultural heritage and the legal aspects related to it. The Petta Bulu Matanre Tomb Complex is always crowded with pilgrims, especially on religious holidays and other holidays, so that pilgrims (tourists) can be given an understanding and properly managed so as not to damage the cultural heritage as a tourist attraction.

Abstract

This research studied the use of deixis in the script of the animated Luca movie. This research identified and analyzed the various types of deixis present in the dialogue, and explored their functions. A qualitative descriptive method was involved in this research. The writer drew on a comprehensive analyzes of the Luca movie script, focusing on how deixis contributes to character interactions and the overall storytelling and only focusing to the main character. The findings revealed that deixis played a crucial role in establishing relationships between characters and their environment, enhancing the listeners’ understanding of the plot and emotional undertones. This research contributes not only to the field of pragmatics and linguistics but also offers insights for further research on language use in cinematic texts. The writer found that all of various types of deixis, to comperhand the contents of utterances or texts. The function of deixis in communication was that it understood the idea that understanding language required more than just knowledge of words and grammar; it necessitated an awareness of the context in which language was used

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi permintaan konsumen terhadap buah durian di Kota Kendari. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah konsumen konsumen atau rumah tangga yang pernah membeli buah durian di Kecamatan Kendari Barat, Kecamatan Kambu, dan Kecamatan Baruga. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan secara quota sampling sebanyak 50 sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel secara accidental sampling. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan aplikasi SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini secara simultan atau berjalan sama-sama terhadap permintaan buah durian sedangkan uji parsial variabel harga durian harga durian kane (X2), harga durian montong (X3), pendapatan konsumen (X4), jumlah anggota keluarga (X5), tidak berpengaruh terhadap permintaan buah durian dan untuk variabel Harga durian lokal (X1), selera (D1) yang berpengaruh parsial terhadap pemintaan buah durian (Y).

Abstract

This research aims to explain the urgency of developing Islamic educational institutions. This type of research is qualitative with a Library Research approach. The research data is in the form of data about the urgency of educational management, Islamic educational institutions from primary sources in educational form management books, Islamic educational institutional development books, and relevant journals. Data collection techniques were carried out using documentation studies. The researchers' data sources were obtained from books and journals about the urgency of educational management in Islamic educational institutions. Data analysis uses Content Analysis. Based on the research results, it was found that educational management has a very important urgency in developing educational institutions. The urgency of educational management in developing educational institutions includes Improving the Quality of Education, Resource Efficiency, Planning Strategy, Providing an Optimal Learning Environment, Human Resource Development, Evaluation, and Continuous Improvement, which are called Educational Goals. Thus, educational management is a very important foundation in developing educational institutions so that they can provide quality, efficient education in line with the demands of the times. Thus, this conclusion shows that Islamic education management in developing educational institutions can make a positive contribution to creating better educational institutions.

Abstract

Every state has complete and exclusive sovereignty over the airspace above its territory under Article 1 of the 1944 Chicago Convention, Belarus carried out a forcible diversion of Ryanair Flight 4978 for the purpose of arresting a journalist and a pro-opposition activist from that country under this Article. However, forcible diversion of aircraft is also a form of hijacking and is contrary to Article 11 paragraph (1) of the 1963 Tokyo Convention and Article 1 of the 1970 Hague Convention. As a result, the international community has various reactions and opinions in an attempt to categorize the Belarusian act. This paper examines the international legal instruments related to the forcible diversion of civil aircraft as part of hijacking, the responsibility of the Belarusian Government, and legal settlement regarding the actions committed by Belarus. This paper found, Belarusian government actions are not categorized within the scope of the definition of hijacking regulated in the 1963 Tokyo Convention, the 1970 Hague Convention, and UNCLOS 1982.

Abstract

ABSTRAC The initial survey carried out in Muaro Jambi Village, Muaro Jambi Regency, looked at the distance between the school and the health center, namely 10 KM along a winding cement road on the edge of the Batanghari River. Public interest in having dental check-ups at community health centers is still lacking. The average occupation of people in Muaro Jambi village is farmers and plantation workers. The results of a survey of 10 children showed that 90% of children had dental caries. The approach is to seek local government policy support, namely stakeholders in Muaro Jambi village, Jambi Kecil Community Health Center, Head of the Muaro Sebo sub-district education service, with the aim of increasing student participation facilitated by class teachers at each school, holding meetings with the Head of Muaro Jambi village and his staff. , holding meetings with principals of SDN, Madrasah and MTS, informing work plans and activity schedules to be agreed and adapted to partner conditions and situations and conducting evaluations of activities Increase in students' understanding of how to brush their teeth properly and correctly before counseling with an average plaque score of 12-13 teeth showing disclosing staining stains for each student, to an average of 1-2 teeth showing disclosing staining stains for each child After counseling, there was an increase in tooth brushing skills and can be seen from the plaque score results - an average of 1-2 teeth visible disclosing staining. There has been an increase in skills on how to brush teeth, which can be seen from the reduction in dirty teeth before the activity to an average of 12-13 dirty teeth and after intervention to an average of 1 to 2 teeth for each student.

Abstract

Masa Balita ( golden period ) merupakan masa emas yang sangat peka terhadap lingkungan dan masa ini berlansung  sangat pendek serta tidak dapat diulang lagi. Pada masa kritis ini, otak Balita lebih plastis. Asupan gizi yang tidak adekuat disebabkan karena pada anak Balita terjadi kesulitan makan berupa berkurangnya nafsu makan yang berkaitan dengan makin meningkatnya interaksi dengan lingkungan. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilalukan dalam pencegahan stunting yaitu dengan cara penguatan kearifan lokal. Selama ini, praktek pemberian makanan tambahan pada balita, seringkali tidak diperhatikan terutama dalam hal kepadatan zat gizinya. Hal ini terjadi karena masih rendahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan ibu balita dalam hal cara membuat dan menyajikan makanan tambahan yangpadat gizi. Salah satu faktor yang terjadi dengan adanya kurang gizi adalah kejadian stunting. Lokasi kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan di Desa Padakkalawa Kecamatan Mattirobulu Kabupaten Pinrang yang memiliki kekayaan bahan pangan lokal. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini diawali dengan survei pendahuluan dengan menggali permasalahan tentang pola makan kepada ibu balita di desa Padakkalawa Kabupaten Pinrang dan kepada kader posyandu, bidan desa dan tenaga gizi puskesmas, dilanjutkan berupa penyuluhan inovasi PELAKOR dilanjutkan demonstrasi pembuatan Makanan tambahan dengan memanfaatkan pangan lokal. Hasil pengabdian untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu dalam pengelolaan bahan pangan lokal menjadi Makanan pokok untuk mencegah kejadian stunting.

Abstract

The high rate of poverty and economic inequality in urban areas requires an inclusive and sustainable economic empowerment strategy. This service aims to strengthen the economic independence of underprivileged communities in urban areas through the Joint Business Group (KUBE) approach. By increasing income, diversifying businesses, and expanding the collaboration network, KUBE members will develop further. This service method uses Participatory Action Research (PAR) involving intensive and continuous assistance to KUBE members, including business skills training, strengthening business models, and collaboration with microfinance institutions and local governments in Binjai Timur, Kota Binjai, Sumatera Utara. The results of the service show a significant increase in KUBE members' income, with an average increase of 30% in one year. Business diversification also occurred with the success of KUBE members adding 3 new products to their business portfolio, increasing competitiveness and local market access. Strengthening cooperation networks is also a positive result of this service, with the establishment of collaborations that provide additional access to resources and economic opportunities. The conclusion of this service confirms that assistance through KUBE is effective in increasing the economic independence of underprivileged communities in urban areas. This program not only provides training, but also builds independent capabilities, expands markets, and strengthens the local business ecosystem, thereby providing a sustainable positive impact in improving community welfare.

Abstract

Rendahnya rasa percaya diri sering kali menjadi penghalang utama bagi siswa dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris, terutama dalam situasi yang menuntut kompetisi. Artikel ini mengangkat masalah rendahnya kepercayaan diri di kalangan siswa yang dapat menghambat kemampuan berbicara bahasa Inggris mereka. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa melalui pelatihan menggunakan aplikasi ELSA Speak, pembuatan poster digital dengan bantuan Microsoft Copilot dan Canva, serta mengajak mereka untuk berpartisipasi dalam kompetisi bahasa Inggris. Metode yang digunakan melibatkan dua tahap, yaitu: pertama, pelatihan berbasis teknologi melalui aplikasi ELSA Speak untuk meningkatkan pengucapan dan kelancaran berbicara siswa; kedua, pembuatan poster digital yang bertujuan untuk memotivasi siswa dalam menyampaikan ide dengan cara kreatif dan efektif menggunakan Microsoft Copilot dan Canva. Setelah pelatihan dan pembuatan poster, siswa diajak untuk mengikuti kompetisi bahasa Inggris sebagai platform untuk menguji dan menunjukkan keterampilan berbicara mereka. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di SMK Telkom Makassar dengan melibatkan siswa dari ekstrakurikuler English Meeting Club (EMC). Data dikumpulkan melalui survei untuk mengukur tingkat kepercayaan diri dan keterampilan berbicara siswa sebelum dan setelah mengikuti pelatihan, pembuatan poster, dan kompetisi. Hasil yang diharapkan adalah adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kepercayaan diri serta keterampilan berbicara siswa. Temuan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan dengan ELSA Speak, pembuatan poster digital, dan partisipasi dalam kompetisi bahasa Inggris dapat secara efektif meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris siswa, baik dalam kelancaran, akurasi, dan pemahaman materi. Pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan diri siswa dalam penggunaan bahasa Inggris. Low self-confidence is often a major barrier for students in developing their English speaking skills, especially in competitive situations. This community service article addresses the issue of low self-confidence among students that may hinder their English speaking ability. The aim of this community service activity is to enhance students' self-confidence and English speaking skills through training using the ELSA Speak app, creating digital posters with the help of Microsoft Copilot and Canva, and encouraging them to participate in an English competition. The method involves two stages: first, technology-based training through the ELSA Speak app to improve students' pronunciation and speaking fluency; second, creating digital posters to motivate students in conveying their ideas creatively and effectively using Microsoft Copilot and Canva. After the training and poster creation, students are encouraged to participate in English competitions as a platform to test and showcase their speaking skills. The activity was conducted at SMK Telkom Makassar, involving students from the English Meeting Club (EMC) extracurricular activity. Data were collected through surveys to assess students' self-confidence and speaking skills before and after the training, poster creation, and competition. The expected outcome was a significant improvement in students' self-confidence as well as their speaking skills. The findings from this community service activity indicate that training with ELSA Speak, digital poster creation, and participation in English competitions effectively enhance students' self-confidence and English speaking skills, in terms of fluency, accuracy, and material comprehension. This activity makes a significant contribution to the students' self-development in using English.
