Abstract

The Riau Archipelago is a place that has many tourist objects, one of which is in Batam City. Batam City is one of the largest cities in the Riau Archipelago Province, strategically located very close to international waterways, direct widening with the Singapore Strait and the Malaysia Strait. Tourism object is everything that exists in a tourist destination area which is an attraction so that people want to come to visit that place, all places or natural conditions that have tourist resources that are built and developed so that they have an attraction and are cultivated as a place to visit. traveler. However, currently there is no application that helps the public to introduce tourist objects and forms of marketing or marketing tourism objects in Batam City for foreign tourists is very difficult. So with this Android-based application for recognizing tourist objects in the Riau Islands to make it easier or to get to know tourist objects in the Riau Islands, and to make it easier to find locations for tourist objects in the Riau Islands. Its creation in mobile form aims to make it easy to carry anywhere. with this an application will be created using Adobe Animate. This research method uses the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) method with the aim of introducing natural tourism objects in the Riau Archipelago and the design uses UML (Unified Modeling Language).

Abstract

Based on research (Apriani, et al 2018), the most common breastfeeding problem is breast swelling due to breast milk dams that cause breast milk not to come out smoothly. Cold compresses are one solution to the problem. Indonesia is a region rich in natural resources. These natural resources are not only used for food, but can also be an alternative medicine. Red betel is a plant that has a pain-reducing effect. The content of cabbage leaves helps in increasing blood perfusion to the swelling area, dilates capillaries and acts as a counter barrier so as to reduce swelling and inflammation of the breast so that milk flows Based on the description above, the author makes a product innovation, namely "Breast-Pren" which is a compress containing aloe vera, red betel and cabbage ingredients which are good for reducing breast swelling due to breast milk dams in nursing mothers

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving EM-4 to tofu liquid waste on the growth of red chilli (Capsicum annuum L.) and to determine how much influence the application of EM-4 to tofu wastewater on the growth of red chili plants. This type of research is a field experiment research using a quantitative descriptive approach to test the effect of EM-4 on tofu liquid waste on the growth of red chili plants. The research was conducted for two months. The results showed that descriptively there was an effect of giving EM-4 to tofu liquid waste on the growth of red chili plants, namely in the treatment of giving EM-4 to tofu liquid waste by 2% (V1) the average gave the highest yield on all parameters observed, among others, plant height 40.9 cm, stem diameter 0.46 cm, and the number of leaves 68 leaves. The magnitude of the effect of giving EM-4 to tofu liquid waste on the growth of red chili plants based on analysis of variance did not have a significant effect on plant height because the F value of the group (0.61) < Ftable (5.14) and the F value of the treatment (1.23) ) < Ftable (4.76) at a significant level of 5%. The stem diameter also did not have a significant effect because the value of the Fcount of the group (0.50)

Abstract

Keterampilan proses komunikasi dapat menstimulasi pengembangan keterampilan interpersonal siswa. Keterampilan komunikasi sangat dibutuhkan untuk membangun kegiatan ilmiah, khususnya dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian quasy eksperiment (eksperimen semu), dilaksanakan di MAN 2 Watampone Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan pada kelas XI IPA. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 2 Watampone yang berjumlah 80 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPA 2 yang berjumlah 28 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran WE-ARe ( pemanasan, eksplorasi, argumentasi, resume) terhadap keterampilan komunikasi . Oleh karena itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model WE-ARe memberikan kontribusi positif pada peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi siswa kelas XI MAN 2 Watampone Kabupaten Bone, Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan kompetensi peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan belajar di era digital dan kurikulum merdeka belajar.

Abstract

Thalassia hemprichii is a type of seagrass that grows in the coastal waters of Suli Village, Central Maluku Regency and its distribution is quite wide, but its population is starting to decrease considering the damage to the seagrass, including due to the influence of waves and currents which cause the seagrass to be detached from its substrate or damage originating from the activities of the surrounding community such as coastal reclamation, waste pollution and "bameti" activities. Seagrass transplantation is one way to repair damaged seagrass beds. This study aims to analyze the survival rate, growth rate, biomass and physical and chemical factors of the waters that affect the growth of T. hemprichii seagrass. If so far the peat pot seagrass transplantation method uses polybags containing substrate from the donor area, this study tries to use substrate from the transplant area. The results showed that T. hemprichii had a survival rate of 100%. The average leaf growth rate in the 1st observation period was 0.145 cm/day, while in the 2nd observation period it was 0.172 cm/day. Seagrass leaf biomass ranges from 0.002 gbk/m2 –0.014 gbk/m2 with a total biomass value of 0.270 gbk/m2. Decree of the Minister of Environment Number 51 of 2004 concerning Sea Water Quality Standards, the value of the physical and chemical parameters of waters is still within the range of environmental parameters of marine waters that support the growth of T. hemprichii.  Keywords: Transplantation, Peat Pot, Substrate, Modification Method

Abstract

The construction of the Mengkaras Monument in Kerakas Village is a strategic effort to strengthen the village's identity while enhancing social harmony and community pride. As a village monument, its presence is expected to serve as a symbol representing the local character and history, while also beautifying the surroundings. The community service efforts in building the Mengkaras Monument were carried out through a participatory approach, involving various elements of society, including village leaders, youth, and social groups. Research findings indicate that the Mengkaras Monument plays a role in fostering a sense of belonging among residents, serving as a hub for social activities, and adding aesthetic value to the environment. More than just a village landmark, this monument serves as an element that strengthens unity and raises awareness of the importance of preserving local cultural identity. The presence of the Mengkaras Monument is expected to inspire other villages to develop infrastructure that is not only aesthetically valuable but also holds deep social and historical significance for the local community.

Abstract

THEMATIC KKN is an activity with a background in community service. This service is of course aligned with the background of the community in the area where the KKN is carried out. The background of the community in the KKN area of ”‹”‹Wanajaya village Most of the population are MSME managers, breeders and laborers. With this data, an increase in productivity in their business activities is an important thing to explore. Then the increase in productivity must be accompanied by an increase in human resources which basically in this day and age must be able to operate technology that contains information and be able to communicate it properly. In this way, the work program carried out aims to improve business capabilities with qualified human resources. The program is carried out in 4 stages, namely the observation stage, the socialization stage, the implementation stage and the evaluation stage. In the socialization stage it produces data on human resources who have experienced an increase in digital knowledge of 435 people and the evaluation stage produces an effect of increasing community productivity in processing a product in the form of BOKASI fertilizer.

Abstract

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Tentang Model pembelajaran picture and picture Pada Siswa Kelas I SD Negeri 009 Padang Kunik Kecamatan Pangean Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi. Aktivitas belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran Matematika di Kelas I SDN 009 Padang Kunik Kecamatan Pangean Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi masih rendah sehingga hasil belajar Tidak memenuhi KKM yang telah ditetapkan sekolah yaitu 70, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran picture and picture pada pelajaran Matematika. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas I SDN SDN 009 Padang Kunik Kecamatan Pangean Kabupaten Kuantan Singingi pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari empat langkah penelitian yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian digunakan lembar observasi yang diisi oleh observer dan tes hasil belajar yang diberikan pada akhir siklus. Data aktivitas belajar siswa dianalisa dengan menentukan jumlah dan persentase siswa yang terlibat pada setiap pertemuan. Peningkatan hasil belajar dilihat dari jumlah siswa yang tuntas pada akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar dan hasil belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah dilaksanakan perbaiakan 2 siklus.dari 7 orang siswa hanya 1 orang siswa yang tidak mencapai KKM yang telah ditetapkan, dari data ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran picture and picture dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar Matematika.

Abstract

This study explores the use of scaffolding techniques in teaching English to young learners in primary schools in Kecamatan Tempe, Kabupaten Wajo. Using qualitative interviews with five teachers and several students from five schools, it identifies commonly used strategies like modeling, guided practice, interactive dialogue, and visual aids. While students responded positively—especially to visual and interactive methods—teachers faced challenges such as large class sizes, mixed proficiency levels, limited resources, and time constraints. The study concludes that scaffolding is effective, but teachers need more training and resources to optimize its use, highlighting implications for teacher development and classroom practice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze employee performance at the Makassar Hajj Dormitory UPT by focusing on the factors of human resource (HR) development, compensation, work environment, leadership, and work motivation. A quantitative research approach was employed through a survey of all employees at UPT Asrama Haji Makassar. The sampling technique used a saturated sample with 147 respondents. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through instrument testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that HR development, work environment, and leadership have a positive and significant influence on both employee motivation and performance, while compensation has a negative and significant effect. Furthermore, work motivation shows a negative influence on employee performance. The results also indicate that HR development, compensation, work environment, and leadership affect employee performance indirectly through work motivation as a mediating variable. This study emphasizes the importance of HR development strategies, supportive work environments, and effective leadership in improving employee performance at UPT Asrama Haji Makassar. Conversely, inappropriate compensation systems tend to reduce employee motivation and performance.
