Abstract

Sektor pertanian di Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan berperan penting sebagai penunjang perekonomian Kota Pariaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat partisipasi kelompok tani serta tingkat produktivitas tanaman padi di kawasan pertanian Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas seluruh anggota kelompok tani di Kecamatan Pariaman Selatan yang berjumlah 97 orang, yang sekaligus dijadikan sampel melalui teknik proportional random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Tingkat partisipasi kelompok tani diukur menggunakan skala Likert, sedangkan produktivitas padi dianalisis berdasarkan penggunaan input produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat partisipasi kelompok tani tergolong tinggi dengan total skor 3.379 atau sebesar 77,41%. Sementara itu, produktivitas tanaman padi berada pada kategori sedang dengan kisaran 3,8–6,5 ton/ha. Produktivitas tertinggi mencapai 8,5 ton/ha dan terendah sebesar 2 ton/ha. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi kelompok tani yang tinggi belum sepenuhnya diikuti oleh produktivitas padi yang optimal.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Environmental Care and Culture Movement in Schools (GPBLHS) program in developing environmental attitudes among junior high school students by comparing Adiwiyata and non-Adiwiyata schools in Padang City. This research employed a quantitative ex post facto approach with 120 students as research participants, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Mann-Whitney U-Test due to the non-normal distribution of the data. The results show a significant difference in students’ environmental attitudes between Adiwiyata and non-Adiwiyata schools, with a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). Students in Adiwiyata schools demonstrated higher attitudes, indicated by a mean rank of 88.05, compared to 32.95 in non-Adiwiyata schools. Additionally, the percentage of environmental attitude indicators in Adiwiyata schools ranged from 71.5% to 77.3% (high category), while those in non-Adiwiyata schools ranged from 36.4% to 41.2% (low to moderate category). These findings indicate that the GPBLHS program is effective in cultivating environmental attitudes and environmentally responsible behavior among students.

Abstract

Community Service is a form of student service to the community through the application of knowledge and learning experiences in a real social environment. Through this activity, students are expected to be able to identify and help overcome problems in the community, especially in the field of education. One of the problems found in Jorong Lompek Nagari Halaban, Lareh Sagu Halaban District, Limapuluh Koto Regency is the educational gap, where many children need additional learning assistance outside of school hours. Responding to this, Community Service students from Padang State University implemented a private tutoring program as an effort to improve the quality of children's learning. This program is carried out through personal and intensive tutoring aimed at improving understanding of lesson concepts, assisting with completing school assignments, and fostering learning motivation. In addition to academic aspects, this activity also focuses on developing self-confidence and interest in continuous learning. It is hoped that this program will have a positive impact on children's educational development.

Abstract

Geography learning in senior high schools still faces challenges, particularly low student interest and understanding of basic geography concepts due to limited and teacher-centered learning media. This study aims to develop and implement infographic poster learning media based on the Canva application and to determine its feasibility and students’ responses. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation stages. The study was conducted with tenth-grade students of Phase E9 at SMA Negeri 6 Padang from June to July 2025. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using a Likert scale. The results indicate that the Canva-based infographic poster media was validated by subject-matter experts and considered suitable for geography learning. Students’ responses were categorized as very good, showing increased learning interest, engagement, and understanding of basic geography concepts. In conclusion, the implementation of Canva-based infographic poster media is effective in supporting geography learning. The findings imply that technology-based visual learning media can serve as an innovative alternative to enhance learning quality and support interactive, student-centered learning environments.

Abstract

Kapalo Koto Songket Embroidery is a cultural heritage rich in aesthetic and local identity values. However, modernization and lack of regeneration threaten its continuity. This research aims to explore the role of this embroidery as both heritage and future potential. A qualitative method was used with in-depth interviews involving local artisans and cultural figures in Kapalo Koto. The findings reveal that songket embroidery holds not only high economic and artistic value but also serves as a symbol of identity and community pride. Nevertheless, the lack of interest among the younger generation and limited digital marketing are major challenges. The study concludes that preserving Kapalo Koto songket embroidery requires collaboration among cultural actors, the government, and technological support to develop it as a sustainable creative economic asset for the future.

Abstract

Environmental Education (EE) is interdisciplinary and contextual because it connects natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities to build a holistic understanding of environmental issues. This approach enables students to connect academic concepts with real-world phenomena in the school and community, making learning more meaningful and applicable. This study aims to analyze the integration of waste management within the School Environmental Care and Culture Movement (GPBLHS) into Chemistry learning for Grade 11 students at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP, in terms of the implementation process, challenges, support from the school's physical condition, and its impact on students' environmental awareness and behavior. The study uses a multidisciplinary mixed-methods approach. The study uses quantitative data as the primary approach, supported by qualitative data. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document analysis, then analyzed using descriptive statistics, linear regression, and thematic analysis. The results showed that waste management integration has been implemented through contextual learning but has not been systematically integrated into the curriculum. Key challenges include limited teacher understanding, minimal training, and suboptimal utilization of infrastructure. This integration has had a positive impact on increasing students' awareness and tendency to care for the environment.

Abstract

Salah satu strategi dalam upaya penanggulangan resiko terjadinya karies gigi pada masyarakat adalah penerapan upaya preventif melalui fissure sealent sebagai salah satu program UKGS (School-Based Dental Program). Upaya ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam pemecahan dan penanganan awal terhadap resiko terjadinya karies pada anak usia sekolah di masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan awal pada 15 orang, ternyata 12 orang  (80%) menderita karies gigi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan memberikan penyuluhan pelayanan promotif dan preventif kesehatan gigi dan mulut (fissure sealent) yang di lakukan pada upaya kesehatan berbasis anak usia sekolah di masyarakat. Peningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap dan praktik mengenai kesehatan gigi yang terkait dengan faktor risiko karies. Kegiatan ini juga dapat dijadikan upaya puskesmas dan sekolah dalam melaksanakan kegiatan UKGMD dan pelaksana program UKGS dalam kegiatan promosi kesehatan gigi di masyarakat. Penerapan pencegahan melalui fissure sealeant kesehatan gigi pada masyarakat dapat menyadarkan anak-anak tentang faktor risiko karies serta upaya pencegahan sejak dini resiko terjadinya karies. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan secara terpadu di sekolah SDN 22 Neusu Jaya wilayah Kecamatan Baiturrahman kota Banda Aceh. Sasaran pada kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah adalah masyarakat khususnya anak usia sekolah dasar yang berusia 6-8 tahun yang memiliki gigi molar satu yang baru erupsi sebagai subjek yang dilakukan intervensi di Kecamatan Baiturrahman kota Banda Aceh. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi akhir yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa pencegahan yang dilakukan melalui fissure sealent sebagai salah satu program UKGS Berbasis Sekolah sangat efektif dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya karies pada gigi molar satuKata kunci : Fissure Sealent, Resiko Karies dan Kesehatan GigiOne strategy in efforts to overcome the risk of dental caries in the community is the implementation of preventive efforts through fissure sealants as one of the UKGS (School-Based Dental Program) programs. It is hoped that this effort can help in solving and early treatment of the risk of caries in school-aged children in the community. Based on the results of initial examinations on 15 people, it turned out that 12 people (80%) suffered from dental caries. This activity aims to improve the level of dental and oral health by providing promotional and preventive services on dental and oral health (fissure sealants) which are carried out in health efforts based on school-aged children in the community. Increasing knowledge, attitudes and practices regarding dental health related to caries risk factors. This activity can also be used as an effort by community health centers and schools to carry out UKGMD activities and implement UKGS programs in dental health promotion activities in the community. Implementing prevention through dental health fissure sealant in the community can make children aware of the risk factors for caries and efforts to prevent the risk of caries from an early age. This community service is carried out in an integrated manner at the SDN 22 Neusu Jaya school in the Baiturrahman District, Banda Aceh City. The target of this service activity is the community, especially elementary school age children aged 6-8 years who have newly erupted first molars as subjects for intervention in Baiturrahman District, Banda Aceh City. Based on the results of the final evaluation carried out, it shows that prevention carried out through fissure sealant as one of the School Based UKGS programs is very effective in preventing caries in first molar teeth.Keywords: Fissure Sealent, caries risk and dental health

Abstract

Kegiatan bakti sosial lingkungan dan penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di SMAN 14 Kota Banda Aceh tahun 2025 dilaksanakan sebagai upaya meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan sekolah sekaligus membentuk pola hidup sehat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini melibatkan seluruh warga sekolah, meliputi pembersihan area sekolah, pengelolaan sampah, penataan taman, serta edukasi PHBS melalui penyuluhan interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan pendekatan partisipatif, di mana siswa, guru, dan pihak terkait bekerja sama secara aktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kebersihan lingkungan sekolah, terbentuknya sikap peduli terhadap lingkungan, serta bertambahnya pengetahuan siswa terkait indikator PHBS, seperti mencuci tangan dengan benar, menjaga kebersihan diri, dan mengonsumsi makanan sehat. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi program berkelanjutan yang mendukung terciptanya sekolah yang bersih, sehat, dan ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Guru IPS memerlukan penguatan profesional agar mampu merancang pembelajaran yang relevan dengan keragaman sosial-budaya peserta didik. Pengajaran yang responsif secara budaya (Culturally Responsive Teaching/CRT) menekankan peran aktif guru dalam mengaitkan materi IPS dengan identitas, pengalaman, dan konteks budaya peserta didik melalui interaksi kelas yang inklusif. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan CRT (melalui rangkaian pelatihan pendekatan CTRL yang digunakan dalam kegiatan) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru IPS anggota MGMP IPS Kota Padang dalam memahami prinsip CRT, merancang modul/RPP IPS berbasis kearifan lokal, serta menyiapkan strategi pembelajaran dan asesmen yang lebih responsif budaya. Dampak terhadap pembelajaran IPS yang lebih bermakna bagi peserta didik diposisikan sebagai outcome yang diharapkan melalui implementasi perangkat ajar yang disusun, namun tidak diukur secara langsung pada kegiatan ini. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri atas empat langkah, yaitu persiapan dan sosialisasi, kegiatan inti 1 (pembinaan), kegiatan inti 2 (pelatihan perancangan perangkat ajar dengan pendekatan CTRL), dan tahap pemberdayaan/evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan guru memperoleh pengetahuan dan strategi untuk mengaitkan pembelajaran IPS dengan latar budaya, yang tercermin pada modul/RPP yang disusun. Selain itu, berdasarkan kegiatan diseminasi perangkat ajar, sebanyak 90% guru melaporkan telah menerapkan prinsip pembelajaran responsif budaya dalam praktik pembelajaran sehari-hari.
