Abstract

Background: Stroke is a state of neurological deficit that occurs when some brain cells die due to flow disturbances. Stroke patients experience hemiparesis and have limitations in upper and lower limb motor function and motor function, leading to limitations on functional mobility. According to Riskesdas (2020) Indonesia, the prevalence of stroke has increased from 7% to 10.9%, while stroke sufferers in East Java are 507 people. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of giving a combination of mirror therapy and ROM based on self care theory on muscle strength in stroke patients in the Inpatient Room of RSI Darus Syifa' Surabaya Methods: This type of research used True Experimental with Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study were 103 stroke patients. The sampling technique used probability sampling by simple random sampling, the sample size in this study was 34 respondents, 17 respondents for the control group and 17 respondents for the intervention group. The instrument for measuring muscle strength used the Medical Research Council (MRC) scale. The data obtained were analyzed using Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test and Mann Whitney. Results: The results of Mann Whitney on muscle strength variables with a significant level of 0.000 < = 0.05, indicate that there is an effect of a combination of mirror therapy and rom (range of motion) based on self care theory on strength. muscles in stroke patients in the inpatient ward of the rsi darus syifa 'surabaya. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that the combination of mirror therapy and ROM based on self care theory has an effect on muscle strength in stroke patients and is easy to do, so that it can be applied as a nursing intervention in inpatient rooms for the development of nursing science in hospitals.

Abstract

Background: At the beginning of 2020, the whole world was shocked by the phenomenon of the Corona Virus (Covid19) pandemic which caused panic everywhere. Hundreds of thousands of people were infected and thousands more died. This really creates anxiety for all humans, especially anxiety for health workers in particular. This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of clinical nurses (PK) and the anxiety level of nurses in the Special Isolation Room (RIK) COVID-19 Darussyifa' Islamic Hospital Surabaya Methods: This study uses an observational approach with a cross sectional research design. The research population is the Nurse in the Special Isolation Room (RIK) COVID-19 Darussyifa' Islamic Hospital Surabaya. The sample size of the study was all nurses in the special isolation room of the Darusyifa Islamic Hospital, Surabaya, amounting to 27 nurses. The independent variable is the level of nurses, and the dependent variable is the level of anxiety. The research instrument is a questionnaire. Data analysis used multiple linear regression test. Results: The results showed that there .are 6 levels of clinical care levels, namely Pre PK and Level 1,2,3,4,5Based on the results of the univariate analysis, it is known that the level of clinical nurses has a relationship with the level of anxiety in the COVID-19 workspace, as evidenced by the sign value obtained 0.027, which means that p <0.05, it means that there is a relationship between the level of clinical nurses and the anxiety level of nurses in the special isolation room. Conclusion: that is, there is a relationship between the level of clinical nurses with the level of anxiety. There is a need for procedures to reduce the risk of anxiety in isolation nurses.

Abstract

Era globalisasi dan kemajuan teknologi yang pesat, pendidikan mengalami transformasi signifikan yang membawa berbagai peluang dan tantangan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran teknologi pendidikan dalam kemajuan pendidikan Islam di abad 21. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kualitatif dengan jenis tinjauan literatur. Pengumpulan informasi dilakukan melalui pencarian berbagai sumber penting, termasuk sumber primer dari literatur yang membahas langkah-langkah penyusunan kegiatan pembelajaran dan lembar kerja siswa, serta beberapa literatur lain yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis untuk mendapatkan hasil kajian yang menunjukkan bahwa urgensi pendidikan Islam di abad 21 terletak pada adaptasinya terhadap teknologi dan globalisasi, sambil mempertahankan nilai-nilai dan tradisi intinya. Integrasi teknologi, kurikulum adaptif, peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik, dan kolaborasi global memungkinkan pendidikan Islam untuk berkembang dan membentuk generasi yang berpengetahuan dan berakhlak. Teknologi pendidikan meningkatkan kualitas, aksesibilitas, dan metode pembelajaran, meskipun tantangan infrastruktur dan kompetensi tenaga pendidik perlu diatasi. Dengan demikian, pendidikan Islam dapat terus berkembang sesuai tuntutan zaman sambil mempertahankan nilai-nilai intinya.

Abstract

Persilangan merupakan salah satu teknik untuk memperluas keragaman genetik. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengestimasi keragaman genetik, heritabilitas dan jumlah kelompok gen pengendali karakter hasil dan komponen hasil tomat pada populasi F2 persilangan TMU-1 x TMU-2 di dataran rendah. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Kandang Limun, Kota Bengkulu dengan ketinggian 10 m dpl (dataran rendah) dari bulan April sampai Oktober 2016. Estimasi keragaman genetik, heritabilitas dan jumlah kelompok gen pengendali karakter ditentukan berdasarkan nilai tengah dan ragam pada populasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semua karakter yang diuji memiliki jumlah kelompok gen pengendali sebanyak satu gen. Karakter yang dikendalikan oleh satu gen diharapkan fiksasi gen-gen akan cepat tercapai pada beberapa siklus awal seleksi. Delapan karakter memiliki heritabilitas tinggi. Masing-masing karakter dan heritabilitasnya adalah umur berbunga (52.90%), jumlah buah per tanaman (92.99%), panjang buah (77.10%), diameter buah (71.76%), jumlah rongga buah (85.68%), tebal daging buah (73.05%), padatan total terlarut (89.77%) dan bobot buah per tanaman (65.19%). Abstract

Pertanian adalah sektor penting di Kabupaten Gunung Kidul, DIY, dengan budidaya pisang memiliki potensi ekonomi yang menjanjikan. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani dalam pengendalian organisme pengganggu tanaman (OPT) secara ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pendataan masalah, persiapan materi, pelatihan, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Pelatihan dilakukan untuk 18 petani muda dari Sanggar Tani Muda di Kelurahan Serut, meliputi teknik pengendalian OPT preventif, biologis, dan kimiawi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan signifikan dari pre-test ke post-test, serta umpan balik positif dari peserta. Dengan demikian, program ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, mendorong praktik pertanian berkelanjutan, serta meningkatkan produksi dan kesejahteraannya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keberadaan hubungan  twin deficits  di Indonesia pada periode 1981-2011 dan pengaruh  structural break  pada hubungan tersebut.  Twin deficits hypothesis menyatakan bahwa peningkatan  budget deficit  akan menyebabkan peningkatan yang sama pada  current account deficit. Keberadaan hubungan ini diyakini dapat membahayakan sustainabilitas makro ekonomi dalam jangka panjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Vector Error Correction Model (VECM)  dan data budget deficit, current account deficit, tingkat bunga, nilai tukar, dan inflasi. Hasil empiris menunjukkan adanya hubungan negatif antara  budget deficit  dan  current account deficit  dalam jangka panjang dan menolak dugaan adanya hubungan twin deficits di Indonesia. Hubungan ini diperkuat dengan hasil uji  structural break  (koefisien  dummy)  yang berpengaruh signifikan pada  budget deficit  dan current account deficit dengan tanda koefisien yang berlawanan. Abstract

The increase in CO2 gas occurred very significantly due to the use of fossil fuels, industry, forest fires, volcanic eruptions and natural gas resulting in air pollution. The dangers of CO? gas for humans can cause headaches, sweating, blurred vision, tremors, and loss of consciousness after exposure for five to ten minutes. CO2 is a poisonous gas which is physically colorless and odorless. This characteristic causes many humans to be unaware of the existence of this gas, so that it is exposed and endangers health. Therefore we need a CO2 gas detection system. The difficulty that occurs in the detection of CO2 gas is when the gas is mixed with other gases that have similar material properties. In this research, a CO2 gas detection system is designed to detect the gas when it mixes with other gases using the MQ-135 sensor. The system that has been designed and built is then compared with a standard tool, namely the xm-7000 dragger. The test data analyzed using linear regression showed the results in accordance with 2the value of R = 0.9896 with the conversion equation y = 0.0389x-76.086. With these results provide new opportunities in testing CO2 on gas mixtures that are easier and cheaper.

Abstract

A lung tumor is an abnormal mass of cells inside a body. As a benign tumor is unproblematic, but a malignant tumor is cancerous because it can travel across the body and interfere with its surrounding tissue. Detecting these cancerous cells in the lung is important because delayed detection may hamper effective treatment options, leading to a lower survival rate. However, classifying tumor malignancy is highly dependent on the knowledge and experience of the radiologist. This study combines texture-based features extracted from lung Computed Tomography Scan (CT Scan) images such as Gray Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM), Gray Level Run-length Matrix (GLRLM), Gray Level Size-zone Matrix (GLSZM), and Haralick Features aims to create a lung tumor classification system. This research contributes by creating an efficient and reliable system through Relief-F feature selection that uses features with the highest weight in rank that are able to differentiate classes of tumor malignancy and help medical professionals diagnose tumors more early in the treatment.  As a comparison, several conventional machine learning classifiers, including SVM RBF, KNN, RF, DT, and XGBoost, were utilized to evaluate classifier performance. The result showed that the accuracy of the proposed hybrid features with a random forest classifier was the most performing approach with an evaluation score of accuracy of 99.55%, precision of 99.55%, recall of 99.55%, and F1-Score of 99.54%. Furthermore, accuracy among other classifiers was also higher than 90%. Proofing the selected features retain essential class information, demonstrating the study’s applicability in developing automated lung tumor classification systems from CT scans.

Abstract

The banana commodity is one of the prioritized commodities in Gunung Kidul Regency. The Young Farmers' Studio and Youth Organization “Solid Berkarya” in Serut Village are trying to develop banana plants by managing critical land into productive land using smart-farming irrigation systems. The concept of smart farming includes using technology such as sensors, connected devices (IoT), data analytics, artificial intelligence, and agricultural management software to create an efficient farming system. The irrigation system needs to apply optimization of timing and intensity tailored to the needs of the plants. The geographical terraced land conditions require unique methods to maximize agricultural yields. In banana cultivation, geographical conditions, climate, soil conditions, and water availability are crucial, so the community's knowledge and skills in irrigation on critical land must be improved. Therefore, banana irrigation training is conducted in this community service, especially related to water availability optimization. In this training, the participant's level of knowledge is measured by conducting pre-tests and post-tests related to irrigation optimization materials. From the test results, it can be seen that there is an increase in community knowledge from 6.44 before training to 9.0 after training. Thus, there is an increase in knowledge by 53.4%. The level of community satisfaction with the implementation of this service activity is 96.43%. keywords: Serut Village, Optimization, Smart-farming, Irrigation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the integration of Islamic values and local wisdom as an effort to build interreligious harmony in public universities. The research method used is a literature review through a descriptive analytical approach to various studies related to the themes of pluralism, multicultural education, and local wisdom. The object of this research is the concept of integrating religious values and local culture in the context of higher education. The results showed that the application of tolerant Islamic values combined with local wisdom tends to have a more harmonious and inclusive academic atmosphere. This integration has proven effective in creating a space for interreligious dialogue, preventing potential conflicts, and strengthening the spirit of togetherness. In conclusion, the integration of religious values and local culture has great potential in strengthening harmony on campus. This study recommends strengthening harmony-based education policies by including religious values and local wisdom in the curriculum and student activities
