Abstract

The objectives of this research are: 1) To determine the planning for improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education supervisors at the Ministry of Religion of Binjai City, 2) To determine the organization of resources in improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education supervisors at the Ministry of Religion of Binjai City, 3) To determine the implementation of the supervisor performance improvement program Islamic Religious Education at the Ministry of Religion of Binjai City, and 4) To determine the supervision of improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education supervisors at the Ministry of Religion of Binjai City. This dissertation research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods because this research aims to obtain an overview of data originating from data collection by researchers regarding management of improving the quality of performance of Islamic Religious Education supervisors at the Ministry of Religion of Binjai City. Collection techniques use interview techniques, observation and document study, while to strengthen the validity of the data found and the authenticity of the research, the researcher refers to the use of data validity standards suggested by Lincoln & Guba, which consist of credibility, transferability, dependability and comfirmability.The results of this research are: 1) The plan to improve the performance of madrasa supervisors is carried out through a qualification improvement program, training, performance assessment and capacity development for Islamic Religious Education supervisors at the Ministry of Religion of Binjai City as well as the supervisory working group (Provincial/Regency/City Working Group). The initial efforts made to realize this program were preceded by building a mindset among madrasa supervisors with the aim of ensuring that supervisors know and understand their duties and functions, including preparing a supervision program in the form of coaching madrasa heads and teachers, monitoring the implementation of the 8 (eight) National Education Standards, Assessment , Teacher guidance and training as well as being an extension of the Ministry of Religion, 2) The organization carried out to improve the performance of madrasah supervisors is carried out as a team, however the aspect of coordination and synchronization in the implementation of activity programs between fields is not yet effective and needs to be improved, 3) The program to improve the performance of madrasah supervisors carried out through competency improvement training, capacity development, and performance assessment. However, the results have not been encouraging, especially in relation to the quality of supervisory coaching services which cover academic aspects for teachers in all subjects and managerial aspects of school principals which are felt to be less in line with the demands of expected performance standards and competencies, and 4) Supervision of improving the performance of Religious Education supervisors Islam in the Ministry of Religion of Binjai City is carried out jointly by involving various elements and working groups of provincial and district/city supervisors. This monitoring activity is intended to identify all forms of problems, find solutions and encourage improvements in the performance of supervisors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan peran strategis Kepala Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) dalam meningkatkan mutu kinerja madrasah di Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Penelitian ini melibatkan pendekatan kualitatif yang mencakup analisis observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk menggali peran strategis Kepala Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) dalam meningkatkan mutu kinerja madrasah di Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Temuan utama menyoroti upaya kepala madrasah untuk mengubah visi dan misi madrasah dari sekadar formalitas menjadi pedoman yang memengaruhi kebijakan dan tindakan sehari-hari. Pentingnya strategi komunikasi yang inklusif, seperti melalui pertemuan langsung, media cetak, dan platform digital, tercermin dalam komitmen serius kepala madrasah untuk melibatkan semua pemangku kepentingan, termasuk guru, peserta didik, dan orang tua. Dengan menyediakan pilihan saluran komunikasi yang beragam, kepala madrasah menciptakan dasar yang kokoh untuk memastikan penerimaan pesan dan partisipasi aktif dari seluruh anggota madrasah. Implikasi temuan ini adalah menegaskan pentingnya peran kepala madrasah sebagai pemimpin dan fasilitator kolaboratif dalam membentuk lingkungan kerja yang dinamis dan berdaya dorong. Dengan memfasilitasi komunikasi terbuka dan mempromosikan partisipasi aktif dari seluruh anggota madrasah, kepala madrasah memainkan peran kunci dalam mengarahkan upaya bersama untuk meningkatkan mutu kinerja madrasah di Kabupaten Deli Serdang.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this paper is to examine the management of education funding at MAN 2 Model Medan and MAN 2 Langkat. A multisite qualitative research model was employed as the research model, and the following findings were found: 1. Madrasah education budget planning at MAN 2 Model Planning for the madrasah involves considering the performance outcomes for the upcoming year, which will be decided upon during the budget deliberation. The madrasah is run by the TEAM, which consists of the head, deputy, treasurer, committee, and teachers. While MAN 2 Langkat's planning is handled by the Madrasah TEAM, which consists of the head, treasurer, and deputy, MAN 2 Model Medan plans a budget to implement seven educational standards. Each of the eight educational standards that MAN 2 Langkat plans to implement is designed and prepared by a different sector of the organization. The RKPBM details the planning process used by MAN 2 Model Medan. The RKAM includes a description of the planned plans. 2. Applying madrasah financial management at MAN 2 Model Medan by allocating funds among various posts in line with the plans that have been developed; financial reports at MAN 2 Model Medan accurately document the receipts and expenditures of funds. The process involves the efficient, effective, and suitable division of each education sector in accordance with the RKAM meeting agreement. Additionally, the e-RKAM program is used to maintain accurate financial records for madrasahs. 3. The Head of the Madrasa and Deputy Head of the Madrasa conduct an internal evaluation of the educational financial management at MAN 2 Medan Model once a month. The Inspector General of the Indonesian Ministry of Religion and the Regional Office conduct an external evaluation of the madrasa financial management at MAN 2 Medan Model. As for the evaluation of madrasa financial management at MAN 2 Langkat, it is conducted both internally and externally and is not all that dissimilar from that of MAN 2 Medan Model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of educator human resource development in Islamic educational institutions in the Ibtidaiyah Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muslim Brotherhood II Tembung. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. In this qualitative research, the researcher used three data collection techniques, namely interview techniques, observation techniques, and documentation techniques. The data analysis in this study uses qualitative descriptive research analysis that only collects, writes, and concludes responses from the sources obtained. The analysis is carried out with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and decision-making. The results of the analysis show that the planning for the development of Human Resources (HR) for educators at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Private Ibtidaiyah Muslim Brotherhood II Tembung has been running as it should, but it takes time and a process of supervision and improvement that is carried out continuously to be better in the future. In addition, the planning for the development of human resources for educators in madrasas starts from the social competence of teachers

Abstract

This research aims to find out the leadership of Islamic educational institutions in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzil Qur'an. The approach of this research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The informant in this study is the Deputy Head of Madrasah for Curriculum at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Hifzil Qur'an Medan who was selected using puposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique from this mini research is observation. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that the heads of madrassas in Islamic educational institutions show democratic leadership traits such as attention, discipline, initiative, wisdom, openness, and stable emotions in their daily actions. There are five strategies used to encourage the performance of teachers and education personnel, namely (1) involving education personnel (accompanying teachers) and school personnel in foundation training and related agencies, (2) providing opportunities for teachers to develop learning methods in the classroom, (3) observing or supervising classroom teaching, (4) evaluating teacher performance, and (5) giving awards or giving awards to teachers and staff.

Abstract

This study aims to describe, analyze programs, analyze implementation, analyze supporting and inhibiting factors and analyze the implications of implementing religious culture through the habit of reading the Koran and praying dhuha for students at MTs Nurus Salam Deli Tua. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques are carried out through the process of observation, interviews and also documentation. Then the data obtained is presented through the process of data reduction (data reduction), data presentation (data display), and drawing conclusions (verification). The results of the research show that: 1) There are several stages that must be planned, namely determining a program with objectives and foundations; determining the success of the Religious Culture program; determine the person in charge; Organize activities and schedule activities. 2) the implementation of the Duha prayer which is carried out in congregation in the morning, then prayer and dhikr together, brief tausiyah, second, the implementation of reading the Al-Qur'an which is carried out in each class guided by the subject teacher. With the teacher's method of listening to students' reading. 3) Supporting factors in the Religious Culture program are school regulations, coaching staff, facilities and infrastructure, while factors are students' self-awareness, the number of sins and immorality. 4) The implications of the Religious Culture program, namely Uniting Allah SWT in Rububiah and Uluhiyah; being solemn in prayer; Focus on reading the Qur'an; Sincere; It's easy to do good and obey, it's hard to do God's prohibition; The heart and soul are calm, far from anxiety; Honest; Humble; Discipline; and Manners.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kontribusi manajer proyek dalam pengembangan pendidikan Islam dan mengidentifikasi gaya kepemimpinan serta kompetensi yang diperlukan manajer proyek.Metode penelitian yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif merupakan jenis, desain, atau rancangan penelitian yang biasa digunakan untuk meneliti objek penelitian yang alamiah atau dalam kondisi riil dan tidak disetting seperti pada eksperimen. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan Kepemimpinan merupakan faktor utama dalam keberhasilan manajemen proyek pendidikan karena memengaruhi kinerja tim, pencapaian tujuan, dan hubungan antaranggota. Gaya kepemimpinan transformasional terbukti paling efektif dalam konteks proyek pendidikan karena mampu menginspirasi, mendorong inovasi, dan menciptakan keterlibatan yang tinggi, meskipun gaya transaksional dan situasional tetap dibutuhkan dalam kondisi tertentu. Kompetensi yang wajib dimiliki seorang manajer proyek pendidikan meliputi kompetensi teknis, kepemimpinan, sosial-komunikasi, dan adaptif, yang saling melengkapi untuk menghadapi dinamika pendidikan.Tantangan utama manajer proyek pendidikan meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya, perubahan kebijakan, resistensi terhadap inovasi, serta hambatan digitalisasi.Studi kasus implementasi Learning Management System membuktikan bahwa dengan kepemimpinan transformasional dan strategi pendampingan, proyek pendidikan dapat berjalan efektif serta meningkatkan partisipasi dan kualitas pembelajaran

Abstract

This study seeks to identify how the Independent Learning–Independent Campus (MBKM) policy is implemented at Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University Bandung. The research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis follows the steps of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study is divided into six stages, namely: pre-research, formulation of research focus and questions, development of instruments, data collection and interviews, data analysis, and presentation of research results in the form of a research report. Through this study, it is expected that the MBKM policy at Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University Bandung will enhance students’ innovation, creativity, capacity, motivation, and independence in seeking and generating knowledge based on real-world conditions and environmental dynamics. In addition, this research is expected to provide added value for partner institutions—particularly Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University Bandung—by presenting an in-depth analysis of the best ways to integrate national policies with local and religious needs within the institution

Abstract

This study analyzed the determinants of organizational justice, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) among MTsN teachers in Central Aceh Regency. Using a quantitative approach with a survey of 280 teachers, the data were analyzed through the Partial SEM-PLS approach. The population of this study consisted of all MTsN teachers in Central Aceh Regency, from which a sample of 280 respondents was determined using the simple random sampling technique to ensure representation across different madrasahs. The data sources included primary data obtained directly from respondents through structured questionnaires. The data collection technique employed a survey method using a Likert-scale questionnaire designed to measure teachers' perceptions of organizational justice, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and OCB. The results showed that organizational justice (βz41 = 0.224), job satisfaction (βz42 = 0.399), and organizational commitment (βz43 = 0.243) had a positive and significant direct effect on OCB. Organizational justice also had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction (βX21 = 0.667), while organizational justice (βY31 = 0.537) and job satisfaction (βY32 = 0.228) positively and significantly affected organizational commitment. The Goodness of Fit (GoF) value of 0.614 indicated a strong model. These findings emphasize the importance of organizational justice and job satisfaction in strengthening commitment and encouraging teacher OCB, which could serve as a foundation for developing sustainable policies and programs to improve madrasah performance.
