Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of a pressure vessel's design in the Radiator Cooling 1000 (RC-1000) system, which operates at a design temperature of 110oC. A pressure vessel is a container of gaseous, solid, or liquid material subjected to internal or external pressure and can withstand various other load variations. The pressure vessel on the RC-1000 system has a outer diameter of 87.8 mm or 3.46 inches and will experience an internal pressure of about 20.84 psi or 143.7 kPa, so it must be designed safely. This research method uses analytical and experimental methods. The analytical method is used to calculate the thickness of the pressure vessel material, the maximum allowable working pressure, and the hydrostatic test calculation. While the experimental method was carried out on the hydrostatic test process, the evaluation was based on the prevailing regulations in the Republic of Indonesia. Using the SPCC-SD material (JIS 3141), it was found that the minimum thickness of this pressure vessel is 0.0453 inches on the shell side and 0.0435 inches on the head/head side. The thickness of the material used on the shell side and head/head is 0.0472 inches in practice. This pressure vessel has passed the hydrostatic test at 232.1 psi or 1600 kPa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of the Village Fund Allocation policy in community economic empowerment in the village of Golo Mori, how the impact of the Village Fund Allocation Policy in community economic empowerment. By using a qualitative approach method. Data collection techniques, documentation, observation and interviews. Based on the results of this study, it shows that Golo Mori Village is a village that has various types of aspects of social problems ranging from economic aspects, human resources, and community welfare. , 0.5063 is very lagging. So with the community economic empowerment program carried out by the Golo Mori village government, it has not had a significant impact on changes in improving economic, social and community resources.

Abstract

This study aims to described the analysis of difficulties and efforts of teachers in online learning at SDN Airlangga III/200 Surabaya. This research uses qualitative descriptive method research, information collection method using online observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis method used in this study is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Researchers act as data collection instruments. The results showed that the difficulties that teachers felt in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic were insufficient facilities, material completion and assessment. The efforts that teachers try to overcome the difficulties felt is by sharing supporting internet access, various assignments, as well as cooperation with the school, teachers and parents of students. The impact obtained after efforts to improve online learning problems is a significant transformation in online learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic grade IV SDN Airlangga III/200 Surabaya.

Abstract

Sand crab (Emerita sp.) is a marine biodiversity, but it has not been used as a fish feed ingredient. This study aimed to evaluate the nutritional value of sand crabs and to understand its effect when used as feed ingredient on the performance of Koi carp. The study was conducted in two steps, which is evaluation of the nutritional value of sand crab and its effect on fish performance. The proximate composition, amino acids, and fatty acids were measured using AOAC methods, and then the carotenoid content was determined by spectrophotometry. In the second step, the sand crab was added to fish feed at doses of 0, 5, 10, and 15 percent, and fed to koi fish for 42 days. The parameters observed were length gain (LG), weight gain (WG), and feed efficiency (FE). Nutritional data were analyzed by description and compared with fish feed ingredients from previous studies. Fish performance were analyzed by one-way ANOVA. When significant, Tukey’s significant mean test was applied. The result showed that the nutritional value of sand crab was comparable to other feed ingredients with a protein content of 37.88%, while carotenoid content was superior. The best performance of Koi carp was obtained with a dose of 15% sand crab in the diet, with LG, WG, and FE values of 0.93 ± 0.05 cm, 0.48 ± 0.06 g, and 63.50 ± 7.05 %, respectively. Based on this result, it can be concluded that sand crab has a high nutritional value and can be used up to 15% in Koi carp diet.

Abstract

This article presents a study on optimizing Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding on mild steel (SPCC-SD/JIS G3141) with varying thicknesses of 0.6 mm and 0.8 mm. Automobile bodies commonly utilize mild steel with a material thickness ranging from 0.6 to 0.98 mm. The objective of this study was to ascertain the upper limit of tensile-shear strength that can be achieved by utilizing the specific parameters utilized in TIG welding. This study utilizes a three-level experiment and incorporates three input variables in the Taguchi experimental optimization method. The advantage of this approach lies in its ability to yield comprehensive outcomes while minimizing expenses, as it can be adapted to the resources available. An additional benefit is that this approach can be implemented in a multitude of industrial situations.The study's input variables are welding current, argon gas flow rate, and electrode diameter. Utilizing a continuous flow of argon gas of 12 LPM (liter per minute), a welding current of 55 A, and an electrode diameter of 1.6 mm, the maximum mean T-S strength of 3457.13 N was achieved. The ANOVA revealed that the flow rate, welding current, and electrode diameter had a per cent contribution of 50.07%, 26.89%, and 23.04%. The flow rate was the parameter with the most significant impact on the influential variable. The welding current and the electrode diameter do not significantly affect the response. The findings indicate that by adjusting the parameters to the optimal level determined by the Taguchi method, the S-N ratio for T-S strength increases by 9.30%, and T-S strength increases by 12.42%. The findings of this study offer a thorough comprehension of enhancing the TIG welding approach and can be further refined by incorporating additional variables.

Abstract

Memilih media pembelajaran online perlu cermat dan tepat sesuai dengan kemampuan pendidik dan kebutuhan serta karakter peserta didik. Aplikasi Google untuk pendidikan adalah salah satu media online yang banyak pakai para pengajar dalam melakukan pembelajaran online termasuk guru Sekolah Dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui sejauh mana penggunaan GAFE (google apps for education) bagi para guru di SD Xaverius 9 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan 24 guru sekolah dasar sebagai subjek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, kuesioner, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang diggunakan adalah reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah aplikasi Google sangat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran online. Aplikasi google yang paling sering digunakan adalah google meet, google classroom, google forms di mana sebanyak 24 guru menggunakan atau sebasar 100% responden. Aplikasi google yang jarang digunakan oleh guru SD Xaverius 9 adalah google slide, google calender, google doc. Alasannya beberapa guru tidak mengerti fungsi aplikasi itu dan sudah terbiasa dengan aplikasi lainnya pada Microsoft.

Abstract

Penyebaran informasi cepat dan akurat berbasis ICT di zaman modern ini sangat dibutuhkan termasuk dunia pendidikan. Saat ini penerapan teknologi informasi salah satunya Website Sekolah sudah menjadi kebutuhan sebagai media komunikasi dalam rangka meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan sarana pelayanan terhadap peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian yaitu menghasilkan website sekolah dasar. Model pengembangan dengan menggunakan penelitian menurut Hannafin dan Peck terdiri dari 3 tahap pengembangan yaitu: (1) tahap analisa kebutuhan yaitu mengidentifikasi masalah dan kajian pustaka. Peneliti melakukan observasi dan wawancara kepada responden untuk memperoleh kebutuhan yang diperlukan. Informasi berupa analisis kebutuhan baik pada sarana dan prasarana yang digunakan, media komunikasi sekolah, serta mengumpulkan jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan website sekolah; (2) tahap desain/perencanaan yaitu tahap analisis kebutuhan dipindahkan ke dalam bentuk dokumen. Flowchart dan tata letak antarmuka yang akan diberikan kepada pengguna dan melakukan evaluasi dan revisi berdasarkan tinjauan literatur; dan (3) tahap pengembangan dan implementasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis kebutuhan bahwa perlu adanya website sekolah dasar di Xaverius 9. Selanjutnya melakukan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil pengembangan website dengan menggunakan CMS (Content Management System) Joomla. Fitur-fitur yang dibuat berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan. Selanjutnya diuji coba dengan melibatkan responden 11 orang. Hasil uji coba yaitu dapat memahami penggunaan website.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: 1) strategi MA Tahfidhul Qur'an Sebagai Surkati dalam penguatan pembelajaran mandiri siswa, 2) strategi MA Nurul Islam Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang dalam penguatan pembelajaran mandiri siswa, 3) peran guru MA Tahfidhul Qur'an Sebagai Surkati Salatiga dan MA Nurul Islam Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang dalam penguatan pembelajaran mandiri siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Madrasah, wakil kepala Madrasah, guru dan dokumen KTSP MA AS Surkati Salatiga dan MA Nurul Islam Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: 1) strategi MA Tahfidhul Qur'an Sebagai Surkati Salatiga dalam penguatan karakter belajar mandiri siswa adalah dengan memberikan kesadaran kepada guru untuk menerapkan pembelajaran yang dapat memperkuat karakter belajar mandiri siswa, memberikan kesadaran kepada siswa tentang pentingnya belajar. Esteblish tujuan dan target pembelajaran, memberikan tugas yang terukur, mengedukasi kebiasaan, memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk mengatur kegiatan kemahasiswaan yang diatur dan menyediakan berbagai fasilitas untuk memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan dalam belajar. 2) strategi MA Nurul Islam Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang dalam penguatan self regulated learning siswa adalah melakukan pembekalan, pembinaan rutin dan pemberian pelatihan bagi guru. Strategi yang terkait dengan mahasiswa adalah memberikan kesadaran dan pengertian, memberikan motivasi, mendidik pembiasaan bagi mahasiswa dan menyediakan sarana yang memadai untuk memberikan kemudahan dan kenyamanan dalam belajar. 3). Peran guru di MA AS Surkati Salatiga dan MA Nurul Islam Tengaran Kabupaten Semarang dalam penguatan self regulated learning siswa sebagai model, sebagai motivator, monitoring dalam metode pembelajaran dan outcome pembelajaran siswa serta menerapkan pendekatan pembelajaran dan metode pembelajaran yang dapat memperkuat self regulated learning siswa.

Abstract

This article features experimental findings on the tensile testing procedure conducted on package seals made from Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)-Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)-Aluminum Foil composite materials commonly employed in food packaging applications. This study aims to ascertain the outcomes of the tensile test or tensile strength of the packaging seal utilizing the Auto Tensile Tester XLW according to the ASTM F88 standards. The tensile test involves using two types of variables: independent variables and dependent variables. The study used temperature (°C) and holding time (s) as independent factors, whereas the dependent variable is the tensile test results or tensile strength (N/mm2). This study utilized identical parameters for each variable. The specimen's measurements were 15mm x 25mm. This experiment included three temperature factors and a constant holding time of 1 second. Every parameter underwent four tests, resulting in twelve test samples. Based on the findings, the optimal temperature range for achieving the most efficient packing sealing was 135oC. The maximum sealing strength of 17.50 N/mm2 was attained within this temperature range, and the outcomes were influenced by both the temperature and the duration of the holding period. Each sample has distinct values, encompassing a rather narrow range.

Abstract

This study discusses the performance of Ethaline Glycol/water (EG/H2O) fluids at a volume ratio of 40/60. EG/H2O fluids are widely used as basic fluids in cooling and heating system applications. The discussion of EG/H2O fluid performance is focused on the analysis of the heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop. The study used an experimental method using a suction test made of pure copper with an inner diameter, outer diameter and length of 16 mm, 19 mm and 1500 mm respectively. The EG/H2O volume ratio at 40/60 was selected as the input parameter. Other input parameters are variations in the fluid flow rate which are regulated using a control valve at fluid flow rates of 4, 6, 8, 10.12, 14.16 and 18 liters/minute. A 2-unit tubular heater with a total capacity of 2000 W was installed on the sides of the copper pipes. A voltage regulator with a capacity of 3000 W is used to regulate the electric power by regulating the supplied voltage. Ampere pliers are used to measure amperage at the setting used. The experimental results show that the performance of the EG/H2O fluid on the heat transfer coefficient increases as the fluid flow rate increases. The highest heat transfer coefficient rate was obtained at a fluid flow rate of 18 L/minute, while the lowest value was obtained at a fluid flow rate of 4 L/minute. Pressure drops fluctuations occur as the fluid flow rate increases. Even though there is a fluctuating pressure drop, this condition does not significantly affect the friction factor, because the fluid flow characteristics occur in a turbulent manner
