Abstract

Social cognitive theory developed by Albert Bandura is the most influential approach to learning. This theory emphasizes that a person's behavior can be learned through observation of social models in the surrounding environment, be it teachers, parents, or peers. This theory is known as observational learning or modeling. This research aims to explore the process of observational learning in an effort to strengthen the value of the Nggahi Rawi Pahu philosophy. The research method used is descriptive qualitative.  The sample in this study were fourth semester students of the Chemistry Education Study Program. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of observation, administration of questionnaires and documentation. In this study, observational learning was carried out through 4 stages of cognition in the learning process, namely attention, retention, motor reproduction and motivation. 7 out of 10 students showed a positive response to the relevance, involvement and benefits of observational learning in an effort to strengthen the philosophy of Nggahi Rawi Pahu. This shows that through observational learning the value of the Nggahi Rawi Pahu philosophy can be improved.

Abstract

Traditional games are activities that grow and develop in an area that is played from generation to generation are rich in cultural values that can be a means in the physical education learning process. This research aims to examine the values of Tri Hita Karana in megoak-goakan game and examine its implementation in physical education. The method used in this research is literature study by reviewing books, articles, journals, notes and reports related to the topic. The results showed that the megoak-goakan game represented the values of Tri Hita Karana, namely (1) harmonization with God (Parahyangan) in the form of religious rituals before starting the game, (2) harmonization with humans (Pawongan) in the form of cooperation, responsibility and mutual respect, and (3) harmonization with nature (Palemahan) in the form of maintaining cleanliness and preservation of the yard where to play. The megoak-goakan game can be implemented in physical education learning because it is proven to improve motor skills, physical fitness, develop social and emotional skills and pass on cultural values that are full of national character values.

Abstract

This study aims to identify, analyze, and summarize the findings of various previous studies on the use of technology in early childhood education (ECE) through the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. This method was chosen because it provides a comprehensive understanding by reviewing various relevant articles, journals, and research reports. The SLR process begins with the identification of inclusion and exclusion criteria, which are used to select the studies analyzed. Data were collected from various sources such as academic journals, conference articles, and research reports in the last five years. The main focus of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of technology in supporting early childhood learning, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by educators in integrating technology into the ECE curriculum. The results of the study indicate that technology has great potential to transform ECE education, increasing children's engagement, creativity, and learning abilities. However, the success of technology integration is highly dependent on the readiness of educators to utilize technology effectively and adequate access to technological devices. Therefore, educator training and the provision of appropriate infrastructure are essential to maximize the benefits of technology. Further research is needed to explore the best strategies for integrating technology into the ECE curriculum and to identify policies that can support the widespread implementation of technology in the ECE sector.

Abstract

Di era global persaingan semakin keras dan ketat yang disertai dengan munculnya permasalahan yang semakin kompleks. Hal yang sama juga terjadi pada proses pembelajaran, sehingga profesionalisme guru perlu ditingkatkan. Salah satu cara yang dapat ditempuh adalah melalui pemahaman terhadap prinsip-prinsip ergonomi dalam pembelajaran. Tujuan penulisan adalah: (1) mengkaji pemahaman terhadap prinsip-prinsip ergonomi dalam pembelajaran sangat diperlukan di dalam upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru; (2) mengkaji peranan prinsip-prinsip ergonomi dalam pembelajaran yang harus dipahami oleh seorang guru untuk meningkatkan profesionalismenya; dan (3) mengetahui kendala yang dihadapi dalam mensosialisasikan prinsip-prinsip ergonomi dalam pembelajaran guna meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Melalui telaah kajian pustaka ditelusuri prinsip-prinsip ergonomi yang relevan diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa para guru saat ini belum memahami prinsip-prinsip ergonomi yang relevan dalam pembelajaran. Akan tetapi melalui tulisan ini diingatkan agar para guru wajib menerapkan prinsip-prinsip ergonomi dalam pembelajaran agar siswa yang belajar tetap sehat, aman, nyaman, efektif, dan efisien energi. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan: (1) pengetahuan guru mengenai prinsip-prinsip ergonomi dalam pembelajaran sangat relevan di dalam upaya meningkatkan profesionalisme guru; (2) pemahaman guru mengenai peranan prinsip-prinsip ergonomi dalam pembelajaran dan dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh sarana dan prasarana yang tidak ergonomik dapat menambah wawasannya dalam upaya pengelolaan kelas; dan (3) kendala yang dihadapi dalam mensosialisasikan prinsip-prinsip ergonomi dalam pembelajaran dapat dijadikan tantangan sekaligus peluang dalam penerapan ergonomi di sekolah.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan skill melatih bagi pelatih-pelatih muda di klub olahraga pencak silat Bakti Negara dalam mengimplementasikan kewirausahaan olahraga. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah ceramah, diskusi, dan pendampingan, implementasi, evaluasi hasil dan tindak lanjut hasil. Pelatih/Mitra yang dilibatkan dalam pelatihan ini berjumlah 20 orang yang terdiri dari pelatih kader muda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperolah pada hasil pretest menunjukkan nilai persentase 58,26% dan hasil analisis data posttest menunjukkan nilai presentase 80,00%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan skill training sebesar 21,74 %. Pelatih diharapkan dapat mengimplementasikan pengetahuan yang didapat sehingga dapat mengembangkan dan mengoptimalkan kemampuan melatih dan kewirausahaan olahraga pada klub-klub pencak silat secara professional

Abstract

In an era of globalization, preserving local cultural values while developing English proficiency presents a significant challenge, particularly in culturally rich regions like Bali, Indonesia. This study explores an innovative approach to addressing this challenge by integrating the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana (THK) into English language storytelling performances of primary school students in Denpasar. Through qualitative analysis of 40 students’ storytelling performances and in-depth interviews with six competition winners, this research reveals the profound potential of culturally responsive language education. The findings demonstrate that young learners can effectively internalize and creatively express traditional values through a foreign language medium, seamlessly incorporating concepts of parhyangan (human-divine relationship), pawongan (human-human relationship), and palemahan (human-nature relationship) into their narratives. Notably, students displayed a sophisticated ability to apply these ancient principles to contemporary issues, challenging assumptions about the dichotomy between global language acquisition and local cultural preservation. The study uncovers a synergistic model where English becomes a tool for cultural expression and evolution, rather than a threat to traditional values. This approach not only enhances language skills but also deepens cultural understanding and fosters a strong sense of identity. By bridging the gap between global communication needs and local wisdom, this research opens new avenues for developing culturally responsive English language teaching methodologies. The integration of THK in English storytelling performances emerges as a promising model for nurturing linguistic competence, cultural awareness, and creative expression, potentially revolutionizing language education in culturally diverse, non-native English speaking contexts.

Abstract

This study explored students’ perception toward the implementation of Tri Hita Karana (THK) in descriptive paragraph writing activity in English Language Education Study Program Unmas Denpasar. This qualitative study aims to find out students’ perception of the application of THK in descriptive writing class. This study employed qualitative method involving 30 students of English Language Education Study Program. The data were collected through semi-structure interview. The analysis was focused on related themes with the students’ perceptions of the integration of THK values in descriptive paragraph writing. The result of the research indicated that in general the students see it positively to the integration of THK with descriptive writing activity. They feel that the values of THK improved the quality of their descriptive writing by writing more meaningful content which is culturally more relevant. Students also noted that these values help them express their idea more creatively and deeply connected with the writing topic. This finding showed that integrating the values of local culture like THK in English learning could enhance students’ descriptive writing skill and culture understanding. This approach makes the students learning process more interesting and contextually meaningful for students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan nilai-nilai Tri Hita Karana dalam pembelajaran membaca di SD Negeri 2 Bedulu dan dampaknya terhadap pembangunan karakter siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Tri Hita Karana, Parahyangan yzitu hubungan dengan Tuhan), Pawongan yaitu hubungan dengan sesama, dan Palemahan yaitu hubungan dengan lingkungan diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran melalui teks bacaan bermuatan moral, diskusi kelompok, dan refleksi individu. Siswa menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam aspek karakter, seperti rasa hormat (90%), kerja sama (85%), dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan (80%). Sebagian besar siswa merasa pembelajaran ini relevan dan bermanfaat dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, meskipun tantangan seperti keterbatasan bahan ajar dan kesulitan menghubungkan nilai-nilai dengan tindakan nyata tetap ada. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai budaya lokal untuk menciptakan siswa yang cerdas secara intelektual dan berbudi pekerti luhur. Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi praktis bagi pengembangan kurikulum berbasis budaya di Indonesia.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini menitikberatkan pada "Pendampingan Siswa dalam Pengembangan Usaha Pemanfaatan Kulit Buah Naga Sebagai Pewarna Alami dalam Lip Scrub dan Lip Balm" dengan tujuan mengintegrasikan pendekatan multidisiplin dalam pembuatan produk kosmetik yang berkelanjutan. Program ini melibatkan 62 siswa dari SMKN 1 Mas Ubud serta mitra bisnis dari sektor terkait, yang kemudian dievaluasi keberhasilannya melalui jumlah mitra yang terlibat. Metodologi pelaksanaan program ini meliputi tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Dimulai dengan sosialisasi program, dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan praktis dan teoretis tentang ekstraksi pewarna alami dan formulasi produk, serta diakhiri dengan evaluasi untuk mengukur pencapaian tujuan program. Hasil dari kegiatan ini mencakup pengembangan produk lip scrub dan lip balm bernama "Leora", menggunakan agen pewarna alami seperti ekstrak buah naga. Program ini menekankan pentingnya komponen alami dan organik dalam produk kosmetik, serta strategi pemasarannya. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, direkomendasikan pengembangan infrastruktur, penguatan kerjasama antarpemangku kepentingan, dan model bisnis yang berfokus pada keberlanjutan untuk meningkatkan kapabilitas usaha kecil dan mendukung pencapaian Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs). Kesuksesan siswa dalam meraih juara di tingkat kabupaten dan provinsi menjadi bukti efektivitas PKM dalam mendorong inovasi berkelanjutan. Community Partnership Program: Business Development for Using Dragon Fruit Skin as a Natural Colorant in Lip Scrub and Lip Balm This Community Service Program (PKM) focuses on "Student Assistance in Developing a Business for Using Dragon Fruit Peel as a Natural Colorant in Lip Scrub and Lip Balm" with the aim of integrating a multidisciplinary approach in making sustainable cosmetic products. This program involved 62 students from SMKN 1 Mas Ubud as well as business partners from related sectors, whose success was then evaluated based on the number of partners involved. The methodology for implementing this program includes preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. Starting with program outreach, continued with practical and theoretical training on natural dye extraction and product formulation, and ending with an evaluation to measure the achievement of program objectives. The results of this activity include the development of a lip scrub and lip balm product called "Leora", using natural coloring agents such as dragon fruit extract. This program emphasizes the importance of natural and organic components in cosmetic products, as well as marketing strategies. Based on these results, it is recommended to develop infrastructure, strengthen cooperation between stakeholders, and business models that focus on sustainability to increase the capabilities of small businesses and support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The success of students in winning at the district and provincial levels is proof of the effectiveness of PKM in encouraging sustainable innovation

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis cara mewujudkan sekolah berwawasan Tri Hita Karana. Urgensi dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan referensi tentang gambaran lingkungan sekolah yang relevan untuk membangun karakter yang sesuai dengan profil pelajar Pancasila. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber data dari penelitian ini adalah segala referensi yang berkaitan dengan Tri Hita Karana. Syarat referensi yang digunakan adalah berupa jurnal, makalah, prosiding dan literatur lain baik skala nasional maupun internasional yang terbit dalam kurun waktu 10 (sepuluh) tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui lima tahapan penelitian mulai dari pengumpulan literatur, seleksi literatur, analisis literature yang terpilih, sintesis dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa sekolah berwawasan Tri Hita Karana dapat diwujudkan dengan cara menerapkan berbagai program pendidikan yang sifatnya rutin dan terencana serta dimulai dari tahapan pembiasaan hingga pembudayaan. Peran keluarga dan masyarakat juga sangat dibutuhkan untuk mensukseskan sekolah berwawasan Tri Hita Karana.
