Abstract

Abstrak ini membahas pentingnya sosialisasi tentang cara bijak menggunakan media sosial kepada remaja di Karang Taruna Puri Jaya, Pasar Kemis. Dalam era digital saat ini, media sosial menjadi bagian integral dari kehidupan sehari-hari, khususnya bagi remaja. Namun, penggunaan media sosial yang tidak terkontrol dapat membawa dampak negatif, seperti kecanduan, cyberbullying, penyebaran informasi palsu, dan penurunan prestasi akademik. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini, remaja diajak untuk lebih memahami risiko dan dampak penggunaan media sosial yang tidak bijak. Selain itu, mereka diberikan panduan tentang cara melindungi privasi, berperilaku positif, serta memanfaatkan media sosial untuk hal-hal yang produktif dan mendukung pengembangan diri. Program ini juga bertujuan untuk membangun kesadaran kolektif di kalangan remaja akan pentingnya etika dan tanggung jawab dalam bermedia sosial. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran remaja terhadap penggunaan media sosial yang sehat dan bertanggung jawab, serta mengurangi dampak negatif yang ditimbulkan dari penggunaan yang tidak tepat. Dengan demikian, remaja di Karang Taruna Puri Jaya diharapkan mampu menjadi pengguna media sosial yang bijak dan memberikan contoh positif bagi lingkungan sekitarnya.

Abstract

Budaya pondok pesantren akan selalu melekat kuat dalam kehidupan di pesantren, karena dilakukan dengan terus menerus dan turun temurun sehingga menjadi sebuah kebiasaan dan ciri khas dari setiap pondok pesantren. Sedangkan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi Pustaka dengan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui analisis dokumen, observasi dan diperkuat dengan kegiatan wawancara. Sedangkan hasil dari penelitian ini adalah nilai-nilai budaya yang berkembang di Pondok Pesantren Taruna Al-Qur’an adalah budaya nilai spiritual yang terbagi menjadi dua nilai-nilai religiusitas di pondok pesantren dan nilai-nilai religiusitas di madrasah. Selain itu budaya nilai yang ada di Pondok Pesantren Taruna Al-Qur’an yaitu budaya berprestasi dan budaya artefak. Implikasi dari kegiatan penelitian nilai budaya sekolah di pesantren taruna seperti: 1) pengembangan model Pendidikan pesantren, 2) penguatan identitas keislaman dikalangan para pemuda, 3) pemberdayaan pemuda dikalangan kepemudaan, 4) kolaborasi pesantren dan institusi Pendidikan lainnya, 5) konstribusi pesantren dalam membentuk karakter bangsa, 6) pengembangan kurikulum berbasis keterampilan, 7) inovasi dan metode Pendidikan agama, 8) penananman nilai dan kemandirian dalam berwirausaha. Sehingga implikasi ini dapat dijadikan dasar kebijakan bagi pemerintah dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Learning implemantation by providing 4C skills (Critical Thinking, Communication, Collaborative, and Creativity) is one of the responsibilities of 21st century education, namely creating a quality workforce to be able to compete in the 21st century. This study aims to analyze and find out how much influence online learning and the role of parents in the learning implemantation. The population in this study was 656 students of class XI and XII of SMAN 14 Tangerang City for the Academic Year 2021/2022. Sampling was carried out using the Simple Random Sampling technique with a sample size of 268 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires or questionnaires and data analysis using descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear analysis with the help of IMB SPSS Version 25.0. The results of the research and discussion are 1) partially online learning has a positive and significant effect on the learning implemantation as indicated by the tcount 6.966 > ttable 1.969311 or p-value 0.000 <0.05. 2) partially the role of parents has a positive and significant effect on the learning implemantation as indicated by the tcount 2.726 > ttable 1.969311 or p-value 0.007 <0.05. 3) Simultaneously online learning and the role of parents on the learning implemantation have a positive and significant effect, as indicated by a p-value of 0.000 <0.05

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of Trichoderma application, both individually and in combination with ABmix and shrimp pond water, on the growth and yield of caisim mustard plants in a hydroponic system. The study was conducted in Tlocor Village, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency, from November to December 2022, using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 repetitions. The treatments comprised various nutrient combinations: 100% ABmix, Trichoderma and husk dilution, Trichoderma and pond water dilution (one-third of water medium), 50% ABmix with Trichoderma and husk dilution, and 50% ABmix with Trichoderma and pond water dilution. Data were analyzed using variance at 5% and 1% levels, followed by a 5% BNJ test. The findings indicated that a 50% concentration of Trichoderma combined with ABmix significantly increased plant height, leaf count, and leaf area up to 28 days after planting. Furthermore, it enhanced harvested wet weight, harvested dry weight, and harvest index. Notably, Trichoderma applied with one-third shrimp pond water as a planting medium resulted in the highest growth with 9.38 leaves, 109.23 cm2 leaf area, and harvested wet and dry weights of 68.25 and 11.00 g per plant. Overall, the Trichoderma consortium demonstrated the potential to effectively enhance the growth and yield of caisim mustard, offering a promising alternative to chemical nutrients in hydroponic cultivation. Highlights: Effectiveness of Trichoderma: The study aimed to determine the effect of Trichoderma application and its combination with ABmix and shrimp pond water on the growth and yield of caisim mustard plants in a hydroponic system. Results showed that the application of Trichoderma significantly increased plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area up to 28 days after planting. Optimal Nutrient Combination: The study found that using a combination of Trichoderma and ABmix at a concentration of 50% resulted in the highest increase in harvested wet weight, harvested dry weight, and harvest index. Additionally, using one-third of shrimp pond water for planting media produced the highest growth. Potential of Trichoderma Consortium: The study suggests that Trichoderma has the potential to effectively increase the growth and production of mustard greens in hydroponic cultivation. It could also be a viable substitute for chemical nutrients, promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable farming practices. Abstract

This study aimed to assess the potential of Aspergillus flavus, isolated from marginal saline soil, as a biofertilizer agent by comparing its in vitro diversity with the biological agent Trichoderma esperellum (collected from the UMSIDA Microbiology and Biotechnology Laboratory). The research was conducted at the Microbiology and Biotechnology Laboratory, University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. Macroscopic and microscopic morphological tests were performed on Aspergillus flavus isolated from rice root soil. The sensitivity test of the biological agents on saline soil showed no influence on their growth. Notably, the findings indicated that Aspergillus flavus exhibited faster growth on saline soil compared to its growth on PDA-c media. Moreover, the combination of PDA-c and saline soil in ratios of 1:1 and 2:1 significantly enhanced the growth response of A. flavus by 50% and 70%, respectively, two days after inoculation. These results suggest the promising potential of Aspergillus flavus as a biofertilizer agent to enhance soil fertility in saline environments. Highlights: Potential of Aspergillus flavus: The study aimed to determine the potential of the fungus Aspergillus flavus, isolated from marginal saline soil, as a biofertilizer agent. The research activity included comparing its diversity in vitro with the biological agent Trichoderma esperellum. Morphological Tests: The fungus Aspergillus flavus was subjected to macroscopic and microscopic morphological tests. Morphological observations of the growth of biological agents were carried out macroscopically and microscopically. Sensitivity of Biological Agents: The test of the sensitivity of biological agents on saline soils showed no influence on the growth of biological agents on saline soil media.

Abstract

This community service initiative aimed to enhance English proficiency, specifically in the context of the TOEFL test, which is crucial for measuring language competence in today's globalized world. The webinar targeted teachers and students, providing a platform for interactive learning and discussion. The methodology included delivering theoretical knowledge along with practical exercises, focusing on listening, reading, and structure components of the TOEFL. The results showed high participant satisfaction, with an average score of 4.5 on the content quality and interaction. Participants expressed interest in diverse topics for future sessions, emphasizing the importance of continuous improvement in language training programs. The findings underscore the necessity of such community service programs to foster English language skills, thereby enhancing competitive capabilities in the global educational landscape.

Abstract

Penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak yang ditimbulkan oleh bencana banjir bandang di Kabupaten Sukabumi serta upaya penanggulangan terhadap dampak yang dirasakan oleh para korban. Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui survei langsung ke lokasi banjir bandang di Kabupaten Sukabumi, pengamatan, dan kajian literatur dari berbagai media online nasional. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mendukung pengembangan kurikulum, peningkatan profesionalisme pendidik, dan penerapan metode pengajaran yang berbasis pada interaksi sosial di masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan warga terdampak, relawan yang terlibat langsung di lokasi bencana, serta kajian literatur, khususnya dari media daring. Kesimpulan Dampak banjir bandang di Kabupaten Sukabumi mencakup tujuh orang dilaporkan hilang akibat banjir bandang dan tanah longsor. Salah satu aksi tanggap yang dilakukan adalah kegiatan distribusi bantuan oleh tim Maharani Peduli berupa 1.000 porsi makanan siap saji, yang terdiri dari nasi putih, balado ayam, tumis sayur labu siam, kerupuk, dan air mineral. Penanganan korban dilakukan oleh tim SAR bersama relawan yang berhasil mengevakuasi para korban dari arus deras dan menyelamatkan mereka dengan selamat.

Abstract

 The study investigates the impact of learning styles on collaboration in Project-Based Learning (PjBL) across gender and how these styles affect their collaborative behaviors in PjBL. Addressing a significant gap in understanding how these factors interact in collaborative educational contexts. The research aims to determine whether there are significant differences in learning styles and collaboration based on gender and how these styles influence collaborative behaviors. Using a mixed-method explanatory sequential design, the study involved 160 participants from the Computer Science and 35 from the Nutrition departments, with quantitative data analyzed using Two-Way ANOVA and qualitative insights gathered from 35 interviews across all classes. The findings reveal that male students tend to outperform in visual learning styles, while female students perform better in auditory learning contexts. Qualitative data further highlighted the importance of gender-responsive instructional strategies for enhancing teamwork effectiveness. In conclusion, the study highlights that integrating diverse learning styles into pedagogical practices fosters inclusivity and improves learning outcomes. It advocates adaptive teaching approaches that accommodate diverse cognitive needs, ultimately contributing to more effective collaborative learning experiences across diverse educational environments.

Abstract

Background: This study examines the role of financial management in strengthening educational governance at the Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang. Effective financial management is a crucial component of good university governance, as it ensures transparency, accountability, efficiency, and sustainability in the management of educational resources. Purpose: This research aims to analyze financial planning, implementation, supervision, and accountability mechanisms in supporting institutional governance and improving educational quality. Method: Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through document analysis, interviews, and observations involving university leaders and financial management units. Result: The findings indicate that structured financial planning, transparent budgeting systems, and effective internal control mechanisms contribute significantly to strengthening educational governance at the Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang. Moreover, alignment between financial policies and institutional strategic goals enhances organizational performance and stakeholder trust. Conclusion: This study concludes that sound financial management practices play a vital role in reinforcing good governance in higher education institutions and supporting the achievement of sustainable educational development.

Abstract

This study examines the role of professional human resource development in improving academic competence at Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang and Syekh Yusuf Islamic University. Background: Academic competence is a critical factor in enhancing the quality of higher education, particularly in teaching, research, and community service. Purpose: This research aims to analyze human resource development strategies, including training programs, professional certification, performance evaluation, and career development, and their contribution to strengthening academic competence in both institutions. Method: Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through document analysis, in-depth interviews, and observations involving academic leaders, lecturers, and human resource management units. Result: The findings reveal that systematic and continuous human resource development significantly enhances lecturers’ pedagogical skills, research capacity, and professional commitment. Furthermore, institutional support and alignment between human resource policies and academic goals play an important role in sustaining academic competence. Conclusion: This study concludes that professional human resource development is a key driver in improving academic competence and institutional performance in higher education, and it provides practical insights for universities seeking to strengthen their human capital strategies.
