Abstract

This article discusses about the relationship between the development of modern science and technology and so many recent studies on the content of the nutrients found in breast milk. Based on the experiment carried out in Canada, there is a number of artificial milk as sold in stores today. But scientists assert that the artificial milk is quite impossible to replace breast milk, because the two kinds of milk have a different content. Another experiment is on one hundred and fifty infants. They were divided into three groups: one group were breastfed for less than two years, the second group of breast-fed for two years, and the last group were breastfed for more than two years. The research proves that the ideal time for mothers to breastfeed their infant is two years. The children who got breast milk in less than two years they will biologically get some troubles. While, those who got breast milk in more than two years, there is accumulation of partial material or substance in the body cells that cannot be thrown out. If the above results are communicated to the verses of al-Qur'an, it can be concluded that al-Qur'an, which was revealed since fourteen centuries ago, is still in line with the modern science and technology.

Abstract

This study evaluates the feasibility of establishing a batching plant for the Kediri-Tulungagung toll road construction, specifically for the Dhoho Kediris Airport toll access, section 2. Observations were conducted with key stakeholders at the project site, including concrete production costs, operational schedules, and potential bottlenecks. The data was analyzed using a quantitative approach with statistical software, focusing on investment feasibility indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Payback Period (Rohman & Husin, 2024). The results of the analysis show that the NPV is IDR5,599,938,029.34 with IRR reaching 82.71%, far above the Minimum Attractive Ratio (MARR) of 12%. In addition, the efficiency of concrete distribution time to the site improved daily work productivity. This study provides critical insights into the logistical, economic, and operational aspects of setting up a batchesing plant, which is essential for ensuring the efficient production of concrete required for the construction project. The findings can serve as a valuable reference for future projects in similar contexts, enhancing the planning and execution of toll roads in Indonesia.

Abstract

Child neglect is a form of human rights violation that has a serious impact on the growth and development of children, both in terms of physical, psychological, and social aspects. This study aims to analyze the criminal liability of perpetrators of child neglect based on Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection and identify obstacles in law enforcement of this case. The method used in this research is a normative legal approach by analyzing relevant laws and regulations as well as doctrinal studies of applicable legal practices. The results showed that although the regulation has regulated criminal sanctions for perpetrators, in its implementation there are still obstacles in proving the elements of intent and negligence. In addition, the weak supervision system and the low level of reporting from the public cause many cases of child neglect not to receive maximum legal handling. Therefore, stronger efforts are needed in the aspects of supervision, increasing legal awareness, and optimizing coordination between institutions in handling child neglect cases in order to provide more effective protection for children in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research examines government strategies in strengthening the small industrial economy or MSMEs to enhance economic resilience. This research uses a literature study method. It uses the defense strategy theory introduced by Arthur F. Lykke, which includes the aspects of way, means, and end. The research results show that, from the ‘way’ aspect, the government, through the RPJMN 2020 - 2024, has committed to strengthening entrepreneurship and MSMEs through five priority areas: developing human resources (HR), increasing access to financial services, increasing the added value of MSME products in domestic and international markets, strengthening partnerships, and improving regulations and policies affecting MSME sustainability, some of which have not been fully implemented by the government. From the ‘means’ aspect, existing resources have not been optimally utilized by the government, such as the empowerment of human resources, which has not been optimal.

Abstract

The role of PT Pindad in the national economy is often overlooked and considered to only contribute to the defense sector. However, PT Pindad has greater potential as a locomotive of the country’s economy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of PT Pindad in increasing economic growth in Indonesia based on Biddle & Thomas’ role theory including Role Behavior, Role Conflict and Role Ambiguity. This research method is a qualitative description using literature review. The results showed that PT Pindad plays an important role in increasing national economic growth and other industrial sectors. There are complex dynamics in PT Pindad’s role behavior such as role conflict between business and defense missions. Role ambiguity arises due to dependence on government budgets. To achieve the independence of Indonesia’s defense industry, it is recommended that the government focus more on encouraging PT Pindad’s market expansion globally.
