Abstract

The difference in inheritance rights of daughters from the perspective of customary law and Islamic law certainly causes its own conflicts in the lives of some Sasak communities, sons will of course choose the customary law distribution method in order to get the full inheritance, and daughters will of course choose the legal distribution method. Islam in order to obtain the inheritance rights that have been determined. The aim of this research is to compare and find out between the two laws (Islamic inheritance law and customary inheritance law) which brings more justice and benefit, especially for Sasak girls. The research method used is a qualitative method and the technique for collecting data is the Document Collection Technique (library research) analyzed using the Descriptive Analysis Technique, namely by selecting data that is important, new, unique and related to the formulation of the problem or research question, the analysis is based on All data collected is processed into complete data. The results of this research are as follows: (1) In Islamic law, biological daughters are heirs because daughters are children of the deceased who should have more rights than other family members, even though their share is half that of sons, their inheritance can protect them. from poverty and begging. (2) The traditional Sasak tribe adheres to a patrilineal family system, namely a system that draws the lineage from the male, which means that female children are not heirs because female children will be brought by their husbands. (3) Islamic inheritance law in determining the rights of women's children is clearer, more detailed, fairer and more beneficial, because in a situation they also need wealth and cannot always depend on men, they are also social creatures and weak creatures. who need provisions from inherited assets to prevent them from poverty and begging.

Abstract

Actual Indonesia's inflation rate is higher than the government's inflation target. One of the reasons is that the dataset for calculating food group inflation is asymmetric due to incomplete supply and demand data. This study tries to overcome asymmetric data constraints by providing an enterprise system for strategic horticultural commodities (SHES). The research method used the first three Zachman Framework perspectives: the executive perspective contextual view, the business management perspective conceptual view, and the architect's perspective physical view, each evaluated using the Why and Who facets. Respectively, the result of the Why facet is about business drivers and motivation intention: vision, mission, and goals; strategic goals and the SHES model's entity goals/objectives; and system development rules, requirements, and functionality representation. The Who facets results are associated with responsibility assignments of farmers, merchants, sub-district data collectors, District Agriculture offices, developers, users, and managers (tested using high-fidelity prototypes/mockups). With SHES, data and information collection becomes systematic and holistic, immediately in the form of real-time data from farmers and traders. Access to SHES uses the farmer's/trader's mobile phone. Thus, data recapitulation, from village to sub-district, district, to provincial and national, will likely be based on reality/data facts in the field. Abstract

Red chili (Capisum annuum L.) is a horticultural commodity that has high economic value. Chili production in Indonesia is increasing, but it’s still unable to meet the needs of the Indonesian people, so it is necessary to assemble high-quality and high-yielding hybrid seeds. This study aims to identify the quantitative characters of 4 IPB hybrid chili lines with 6 commercial varieties as a comparison. This research was conducted in April-September 2022 at the Experimental Land PERURI in Teluk Jambe Timur District, Karawang Regency. The method used was an experimental method with a single factor randomized block design (RAK) with chili genotypes as the treatment. The treatment consisted of 4 expected lines namely F1.074005, F1.074003, F1.374005 and F1.374003 and 6 commercial control varieties namely CH3, Baja, Balebat, Elegance, Imperial 10 and Gada. Each genotype was repeated 3 times so that there were 30 experimental units and each experimental unit consisted of 10 plants. The data obtained will be analyzed at the 5% level F test with the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT). Based on the experimental results, it was shown that there were treatments that had a significant effect on the yield component of fruit weight per plant, namely genotypes F1.374003 and F1.074003. The hopeful hybrid F1.374003 also gave the highest yield in the productivity yield component (4.67 tonnes/ha).

Abstract

The prices of strategic food commodities, namely rice, red chili, chicken, beef, shallots, eggs, sugar, and cooking oil, are monitored to measure Indonesia's inflation in the food category. This study intended to explore the chili agrosystems as an essential Indonesian daily cuisine due to its perishable nature and its variably supply chain. The state-of-the-art approach from various research databases was used and supplemented with secondary data gathered from the related enterprise. The study revealed that food strategic web-based information systems on production, consumption, and price are under different authorities. Concerning the chili case, even though there was a production surplus, price fluctuation increasing the risk of lowering motivation to plant. The number of actors involved itemizes eight chili's supply chain main patterns. In conclusion, chili trade and freight margins favoured supply chain actors but not the farmer itself. The welfare of the farmers is not good condition. It is characterized by proxy indicators, the majority of which are only slightly more than 100. The situation creates a new risk of decreasing motivation in farming. Further study using manageable chili enterprise systems is required to bring farmers closer to end consumers and improve their welfare. Abstract

Marigold (Tagetes erecta L.) is an ornamental plant widely used as a potted or cut flower due to its vibrant colors and diverse flower shapes. High genetic diversity is essential for successful breeding programs aimed at developing superior varieties. Genetic information can be obtained by estimating variance components and heritability values, key parameters in plant breeding. A high heritability value suggests that genetic factors influence a plant's characteristics more than environmental factors. This study assessed the genetic diversity and performance of vegetative propagation from 2nd generation mutant plants (M2V1). The research was conducted at the Pasir Sarongge experimental field in Cianjur Regency from July to October 2023, using a randomized complete block design with 17 genotypes and three replicates. The genotypes included 14 from vegetative propagation of M2V1 mutant plants and three comparison varieties: “Maharani”, “BAIP 2”, and “BAIP 3”. Data analysis was performed using PKBT-STAT 3.1 software, followed by the honest significant difference (HSD) test at the 5% level. The results revealed significant differences among genotypes in plant height, stem diameter, canopy width, leaf width, flower weight, flower diameter, number of flowers per plant, total flower weight per plant, and flower stalk length. Floret types observed were either all ligulate or all tubuligulate, with flower colors ranging from orange to yellow to white. Traits such as canopy width, flower weight, flower diameter, and stalk length, which exhibited broad genetic diversity and high heritability, can be used for selection in future marigold breeding programs.

Abstract

Tempe is a traditional Indonesian food typically made from soybeans fermented by the mold Rhizopus spp. Indonesia heavily relies on imported soybeans, and substituting soybeans with cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) could reduce this dependency while promoting local raw materials. This study aimed to develop an optimal tempe formula combining cowpea and soybean, ensuring quality parameters comparable to conventional soybean tempe (the gold standard). Formula optimization was conducted using response surface methodology, facilitated by Design Expert 12 software. The recommended optimal formula consists of 30% cowpea and 70% soybean, achieving a desirability value of 0.87. This formulation resulted in tempe with L* (brightness), a* (red-green), b* (yellow-blue), hardness, water activity, and pH values that were not significantly different from those of soybean tempe. The proximate composition of the optimally formulated tempe complies with the quality standards of SNI 3144:2015, with moisture, ash, fat, protein, and carbohydrate contents of 60.28, 0.64, 10.28, 17.67, and 11.67% respectively. Sensory evaluation using a 1-7 hedonic scale (ranging from "very dislike" to "very like") on fresh and fried tempe from the optimal combination indicates that attributes such as color, aroma, texture, and overall acceptability fall within the range of "somewhat liked" to "like" by consumers. The favorable reception of the soybean-cowpea tempe suggests its potential for reducing soybean imports by substituting 30% of the soybean with cowpea.

Abstract

This study aims to identify gaps in the performance of madrasah supervisors in implementing the 2013 Curriculum in South Tangerang City using the Discrepancy Evaluation Model (DEM), which focuses on aspects of input, process, and output. The approach is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and document studies. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion-drawing techniques. The study results indicate that although supervisors have appropriate academic qualifications, there is nonlinearity with the tasks given, where one MTs supervisor does not yet have a Master's degree, which is a requirement. The performance gap occurs because some supervisors do not set curriculum supervision priorities or detail the coaching program's implementation schedule. Teacher coaching activities are mostly done through MGMP, while class visits and observations are rarely conducted. This problem impacts the less-than-optimal performance of teachers in implementing the 2013 Curriculum, especially in the preparation of learning devices, determination of Minimum Learning Completeness (KBM), implementation of learning, and preparation of assessment instruments. This shows that implementing the 2013 Curriculum in madrasas in South Tangerang City in 2019 is still far from expectations.
