Abstract

This study aims to analyze religious hoaxes on social media in Indonesia by examining their logical, religious, and legal dimensions. It highlights how these hoaxes, often framed through logical fallacies and spread via digital platforms, exacerbate social polarization and interfaith tensions. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach, focusing on high-profile cases involving religious hoaxes during 2020–2021. The researchers collected data from social media posts, comments, and videos on platforms such as YouTube and Twitter, as well as from secondary sources, including news articles, legal documents, and religious texts. The findings reveal the strategic use of logical fallacies such as ad hominem and argumentum ad populum, the exploitation of sensitive religious issues, and the amplification of divisive narratives through digital platforms. These hoaxes significantly impact societal harmony, resulting in polarization, theological confusion, and heightened interfaith tensions. The study underscores the critical need to enhance media literacy, foster interfaith dialogue, and enforce digital content regulations. These strategies can mitigate the impact of religious hoaxes and promote a more informed, cohesive society. This research integrates logical, religious, and legal frameworks to analyze religious hoaxes comprehensively. Addressing the intersection of these perspectives offers a unique contribution to understanding and mitigating the societal impacts of digital misinformation.

Abstract

Blended Learning Based on Heutagogy as a Determinant of Student Engagement in Islamic Education. Objective: Blended learning by prioritizing a heutagogical approach in Islamic Education needs to be analyzed to determine the potential for successful student engagement. Methods: Therefore, this study classifies, regresses, and predicts the determinants of the interaction of 128 students in a literacy project using three indicator variables; discussions, presentations, and publications. Findings: This study found an f value of 85.79 +/- 5.83 (micro average: 86.27) with positive class completeness at an accuracy of 80.71% in classification analysis with a decision tree, f value 80.33% with an accuracy of 72.86%, and classification error of 27.14% in predictive analysis with Naïve Bayes, and the significance of t count 4.713 > t table 1.97912 in regression analysis with SPSS. Conclusion: This study concludes; that (1) discussion determines mastery in heutagogy learning, (2) discussion activities have a positive effect on understanding in heutagogy learning, and (3) discussion determines engagement in completing assignments. Keywords: blended learning, heutagogical, Islamic education, student engagement.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i1.202230

Abstract

This research adopts a comparative analysis method to explore the integration of values and character education practices, based on the philosophical-spiritual perspective of Ibn Miskawaih and the psychological-social perspective of Thomas Lickona. The focus is on the internalization of moral values in character education, highlighting the role of family and society. Through literature research, this article reveals how character education can be a solution to the contemporary moral crisis. The research results show the importance of a holistic approach in character education, which integrates intellectual and moral aspects to form intelligent individuals with integrity. This research contributes to the understanding of effective character education in facing today's social challenges.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak dalam Islam menempati posisi penting sebagai bagian dari tanggung jawab orang tua untuk membentuk generasi yang berakhlak mulia dan taat kepada Allah SWT. Islamic parenting adalah pola asuh yang menggabungkan nilai-nilai tauhid, akhlak, dan adab, dengan orang tua sebagai teladan utama dalam mendidik anak-anak mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi konsep dasar model pembelajaran dalam Islamic parenting dan bagaimana penerapannya di tengah tantangan modern. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analitis, melalui studi kepustakaan dan wawancara mendalam dengan orang tua muslim yang menerapkan Islamic parenting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Islamic parenting tetap relevan dan efektif dalam membentuk karakter anak yang beriman dan berakhlak baik. Orang tua menerapkan berbagai strategi, seperti komunikasi yang efektif, penggunaan teknologi secara bijak, serta menjadikan rumah sebagai pusat pendidikan Islami, untuk menghadapi tantangan seperti pengaruh media dan lingkungan sekuler. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa Islamic parenting, dengan fondasi ajaran Islam yang kuat, mampu menjadi model pembelajaran yang kokoh dalam mendidik anak-anak muslim meskipun berada di tengah era modernisasi

Abstract

Era digital menghadirkan tantangan kompleks dalam pembentukan karakter anak usia dini, memerlukan pendekatan yang mengintegrasikan nilai tradisional dengan konteks teknologi modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mensintesis pemikiran Muhammad Naquib Al-Attas dan Thomas Lickona untuk mengembangkan kerangka teoritis pembentukan karakter anak usia dini di era digital. Menggunakan metode kualitatif systematic literature review dengan framework PRISMA, penelitian ini mengkaji relevansi dan komplementaritas kedua pemikiran tersebut. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi keunggulan unik masing-masing pendekatan: konsep adab Al-Attas memberikan fondasi spiritual-metafisik yang mendalam, sementara model Lickona menawarkan operasionalisasi praktis melalui trilogi moral knowing, feeling, dan action. Novelty penelitian terletak pada pengembangan model integratif "Adab-Digital Character Framework" yang menggabungkan dimensi transendental adab dengan pendekatan empiris Lickona, dilengkapi strategi implementasi khusus untuk konteks digital. Model ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis berupa kerangka konseptual baru yang menjembatani pendekatan Timur dan Barat, serta kontribusi praktis berupa panduan implementasi yang dapat diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini untuk menghadapi tantangan era digital secara efektif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang metodologi keilmuan pendidikan model conscientization (penyadaran) yang dikembangkan oleh Paulo Freire dan relevansinya bagi pengembangan Ilmu Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini mencakup analisis terhadap latar belakang pemikiran Freire, konstruksi filsafat pendidikannya yang dipengaruhi oleh personalisme, eksistensialisme, fenomenologi, dan kristianitas, serta konsep kunci konsientisasi dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi pustaka (library research) dengan menganalisis karya-karya Freire seperti Pedagogy of the Oppressed dan Education as the Practice of Freedom. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pendidikan kritis Paulo Freire memiliki relevansi signifikan terhadap pendidikan Islam. Pertama, terdapat kesesuaian dalam tujuan pendidikan, yaitu membangun kesadaran kritis dan memanusiakan manusia melalui pengembangan potensi spiritual, intelektual, dan moral. Kedua, konsep pendidik sebagai fasilitator dialog dan pembebas sesuai dengan peran guru dalam Islam. Ketiga, siswa tidak diposisikan sebagai objek pasif, melainkan sebagai subjek aktif yang diberi ruang untuk berpikir, berdialog, dan bertindak secara kritis terhadap realitas sosial. Integrasi nilai-nilai konsientisasi Freire dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam dapat memperkaya pendekatan pedagogis dalam pendidikan Islam yang berorientasi pada transformasi sosial dan pembentukan insan kamil.

Abstract

The ‘durian generation,' like the current generation, has a critical, independent, and adaptive character to technological developments but is at risk of lacking spiritual depth and moderate moral values. Religious education, especially through Akidah Akhlak learning, is very important to form a balanced character based on Islamic values. This research aims to analyze the character of the durian generation and explore the role of Akidah Akhlak teachers in forming the character of students at MIN 1 Yogyakarta so that they can create a generation that is not only intelligent and critical but also has noble and moderate morals. The researchers used a qualitative research method through a literature review and observation of the practice of learning Akidah Akhlak in this school. Data were analyzed thematically to identify the characteristics of the durian generation and the role of teachers in character formation. The research results showed that Akidah Akhlak teachers play a strategic role as character-forming agents by implementing contextual learning methods and innovative media according to the character of the durian generation. Effective character formation includes the integration of the values ​​of moderation, tolerance, and noble morals so that students can develop into individuals who are balanced between intellectual, spiritual, and social. The challenges and opportunities that exist can be overcome with the creativity and commitment of teachers in adjusting learning methods to the dynamics of the times.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the conceptual dynamics of wasathiyyah (Islamic moderation) in the context of Islamic education by conducting a genealogical exploration of classical texts and a critical analysis of current digital representations. The method used is qualitative, with a literature study and critical discourse analysis of two main corpora. First, classical Islamic literature, including tafsir, hadith, and works of authoritative scholars. And secondly, digital content such as online articles, social media, and da'wah videos. The findings show that in classical texts, wasathiyyah is understood as an epistemological principle that harmonizes reason and revelation and rejects extremism. In the digital space, that meaning is often simplified or even distorted due to the influence of ideological interests and populist communication patterns. The challenge for Islamic education in maintaining its scientific authority and transformative value arises from this phenomenon. Thus, the integration of classical scientific heritage and critical religious digital literacy is a key strategy in building a contextual, reflective, and value-rooted Islamic education paradigm based on the principle of rahmatan lil-‘alamin.

Abstract

Childhood is a fundamental stage in the formation of individual character and social behavior, particularly regarding acceptance or rejection of diversity. Children aged 4–6 years are in a highly sensitive developmental phase where parenting styles play a central role in shaping how they perceive differences. This study aims to analyze the influence of parenting styles on the tendency toward discriminatory behavior in early childhood in Kertomulyo Village, Pati Regency. Using a qualitative approach and case study method involving four families, data were collected through online interviews and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. The findings reveal that modern parenting styles such as positive parenting, mindful parenting, and gentle parenting when applied consistently, can foster empathy, tolerance, and acceptance of differences. Conversely, inconsistent parenting, authoritarian styles, excessive protectiveness, or lack of supervision over digital media consumption can contribute to the development of discriminatory attitudes in children. These findings underscore the crucial role of parents in instilling inclusive values and shaping children's character from an early age, as well as the need for collaboration among families, educational institutions, and communities in creating environments that support the growth of a tolerant and just generation

Abstract

Kemampuan berbahasa merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini karena mendukung kemampuan berpikir, berinteraksi sosial, dan kesiapan memasuki pendidikan formal. Namun, tidak semua anak memperoleh stimulasi yang cukup, baik di rumah maupun di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bentuk dan strategi kolaborasi edukatif antara guru dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa anak usia dini. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus yang dilaksanakan di TK Al-Hidayah 67 Jember. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis secara tematik dengan mengacu pada model Miles dan Huberman. Untuk menjamin keabsahan data, digunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan teknik, yaitu membandingkan hasil wawancara, observasi, serta bukti dokumentasi perkembangan anak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kolaborasi guru dan orang tua terwujud melalui komunikasi dua arah, keterlibatan dalam kegiatan sekolah, serta penyelarasan strategi pembelajaran di rumah. Strategi guru mencakup metode bercerita, bermain peran, dan diskusi kelompok, sementara orang tua membiasakan berdialog, membacakan cerita, dan mengurangi penggunaan gawai. Anak-anak yang mendapatkan stimulasi berkelanjutan dari kedua lingkungan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam keberanian berbicara, penguasaan kosakata, dan penyampaian gagasan. Meski demikian, hambatan seperti kesibukan orang tua dan kurangnya pemahaman literasi masih ditemukan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kolaborasi edukatif berperan besar dalam menunjang perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini. Dengan demikian, sinergi antara sekolah dan keluarga dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang konsisten dan mendukung literasi sejak dini.
