Abstract

This study examines how transformational leadership and workload drive teacher performance through innovative work behaviour and job satisfaction in a rural educational context. While previous studies have explored these variables separately, empirical evidence integrating leadership, workload, innovation, and satisfaction within rural education settings remains limited. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data were collected from 362 teachers in Kerinci District, Jambi Province, Indonesia, and analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The results show that transformational leadership significantly influences innovative work behaviour (β = 0.386, p < 0.001) and job satisfaction (β = 0.120, p = 0.010). Workload emerges as the strongest predictor of innovative work behaviour (β = 0.578, p < 0.001) and job satisfaction (β = 0.648, p < 0.001). Furthermore, innovative work behaviour (β = 0.171, p = 0.015) and job satisfaction (β = 0.497, p < 0.001) positively affect teacher performance. These findings highlight that teacher performance in rural education is shaped not only by inspirational leadership but also by structured and manageable workloads that foster innovation and satisfaction. This study contributes to leadership and organizational behaviour literature by clarifying the mechanisms through which leadership and workload influence performance in developing-region educational contexts and offers practical implications for school leadership and educational policy.

Abstract

The development of social media, especially Instagram, has become a significant opportunity for the beauty industry in building brand awareness and relationships with consumers. Wardah Beauty Bengkulu utilizes the @wardahbeauty_bengkulu account as its primary medium to maintain its image as a halal cosmetic brand amidst increasing market competition. This study aims to analyze the digital marketing communication strategies implemented by the account to maintain its brand in the Bengkulu region. The research method used a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation of Instagram content, documentation, and in-depth interviews with account administrators, beauty advisors, and active consumers. The analysis was conducted using the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) theory and the Brand Equity concept. The results show that Wardah implements a communication strategy that includes visual consistency in line with its halal identity, educational content, collaboration with local influencers, and integration of online and offline activities through events such as beauty classes and skin checks. This strategy effectively attracts attention, builds interest, increases desire through testimonials and direct experiences, and encourages purchasing actions. In conclusion, the digital communication strategy through Instagram has proven to be able to strengthen brand awareness, maintain the image of modern halal cosmetics, and increase consumer loyalty in Bengkulu.

Abstract

Abstract: This research stems from the MEP’s quest for justice through a lawsuit at the State Administrative Court. The Bengkulu Police Chief sanctioned MEP with PTDH’s sentence against him. MEP and their team of attorneys sued the Bengkulu Regional Police’s decision at that time, because they were deemed arbitrary. This happened, because MEP had never been in a general criminal court hearing. MEP considered an administrative flaw because the Bengkulu Police Chief carried out the recommendation for the KEPP Commission’s appeal hearing, without a general criminal court decision. Therefore, the formulation of the problems of this research are: First, how does the law enforcement process occur in the case of disrespectful dismissal of a member of the police in case number 1 / G / 2018 / PTUN.BKL? Second, what is the legal mechanism for ex-members of the National Police in the Judicial System in Indonesia? This study aims to analyze the PTDH process within the National Police, as well as to see the legal mechanisms in the Polri Institution from the perspective of the Judicial System in Indonesia. This study uses a juridical normative approach, with descriptive analysis through various court decisions that have occurred. This study obtained the results that: First, the MEP’s efforts for the justice-seeking process and the legal process at the Polri Institution are in accordance with the state administrative legal process. MEP’s claim argument was rejected, and the defendant’s answers were accepted in all types of trials. Second, the legal process has met the provisions of state administrative law, both formally and materially according to the justice system in Indonesia. Keywords: Justice, Lawsuit, Trial, Indonesian Police, State Administration Law Abstrak: Penelitian ini bermula dari upaya pencarian keadilan oleh MEP ditempuh melalui gugatan di Pengadilan Tata Usaha Negara. Kapolda Bengkulu menyanksi MEP dengan hukuman PTDH terhadapnya. MEP dan tim kuasa hukumnya menggugat keputusan Kapolda Bengkulu saat itu, karena dianggap melakukan kesewang-wenangan. Hal ini terjadi, karena MEP tidak pernah di sidang pengadilan pidana umum. MEP mengganggap cacat administrasi karena Kapolda Bengkulu menjalankan rekomendasi sidang banding Komisi KEPP, tanpa ada putusan pengadilan pidana umum. Oleh sebab itu, rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, bagaimana proses penegakan hukum terjadi pada kasus pemberhentian dengan tidak hormat anggota polri dalam perkara nomor 1/G/2018/PTUN.BKL? Kedua, bagaimana Mekanisme Hukum bagi eks-Anggota Polri dalam Sistem Peradilan di Indonesia? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses PTDH dalam institusi Polri, sekaligus untuk melihat mekanisme hukum di Institusi Polri dalam perspektif Sistem Peradilan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan normatif yuridis, dengan analisis deskripsi melalui berbagai putusan sidang yang telah terjadi. Penelitian ini memperoleh hasil bahwa: Pertama, Upaya Proses Pencarian keadilan oleh MEP dan upaya proses hukum di Institusi Polri telah sesuai dengan proses hukum administrasi negara. Dalil gugatan MEP ditolak, dan jawaban tergugat diterima di segala jenis persidangan. Kedua, proses hukum sudah memenuhi ketentuan hukum administrasi negara, baik secara formil maupun materiil sesuai dengan sistem peradilan di Indonesia. Abstract

Community participation is a key factor in maintaining cleanliness and environmental sustainability in residential areas. This research and Community Service Program (KKN) was conducted in RT 08, RW 05 Pematang Gubernur, Bengkulu City to describe the level of community participation in environmental cleanliness efforts, identify driving and inhibiting factors, and formulate recommendations to improve participation. The methods used included field observations, structured interviews with 40 residents, and discussions with RT/RW administrators. The results showed that the level of community participation was in the moderate category. The main driving factors were awareness of family health and support from community leaders, while inhibiting factors included limited supporting facilities and lack of awareness among some residents.

Abstract

This study is grounded in the important role of family, particularly democratic parenting characterized by open communication, warmth, and guided autonomy, in supporting students’ academic achievement. Differences in learning attitudes and behaviors among tenth-grade students during the transition from junior to vocational high school highlight the need to examine this relationship. This study aims to determine the influence of democratic parenting style on student learning outcomes in a state vocational high school. This research employed a quantitative, ex post facto design, involving a population of 699 students and a sample of 87 selected via simple random sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, percentage analysis, normality and linearity tests, and simple linear regression. The results show that democratic parenting is in the high category (76.33%), while student learning outcomes are in the good category (70.09%). The correlation coefficient (R) of 0.631 and R Square of 0.398 indicate that democratic parenting contributes 39.8% to student learning outcomes, demonstrating a significant positive influence. It is recommended that future research expand the study by including additional variables that may affect learning outcomes.
