Abstract

 AbstrakPenelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran kegiatan kepramukaan dalam membentuk karakter disiplin siswa di MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo. Kepramukaan sebagai salah satu bentuk pendidikan non-formal memiliki peran penting dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti keimanan, budi pekerti luhur, ketaatan hukum, dan kedisiplinan kepada anak-anak dan remaja. Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan mengamanatkan kegiatan kepramukaan di sekolah-sekolah sebagai kombinasi dari nilai-nilai sikap dan pengembangan keterampilan.Penelitian ini berfokus pada kegiatan kepramukaan di MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo, di mana kepramukaan menjadi kegiatan ekstrakurikuler wajib pada tahun 2017. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler dirancang untuk tidak hanya mengembangkan keterampilan kepramukaan tetapi juga untuk membangun karakter, menekankan kesopanan, kepatuhan, dan disiplin. Kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut mencakup komponen dalam dan luar ruangan, memberikan pengalaman belajar yang holistik kepada para siswa. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi untuk mengumpulkan data primer. Hasilnya menyoroti prestasi pramuka MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo, termasuk keberhasilan penting dalam berbagai kompetisi. Pembina pramuka memainkan peran penting dalam mengimplementasikan kegiatan yang selaras dengan Kurikulum 2013, dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran yang membuat pengalaman yang menyenangkan bagi para siswa. Studi ini juga mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi oleh para pembina pramuka, seperti keterbatasan ekonomi yang mempengaruhi perolehan atribut lengkap. Motivasi ditemukan secara positif dipengaruhi oleh pelatih eksternal. Terlepas dari tantangan yang ada, penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendidikan karakter disiplin, dengan menekankan perlunya dukungan yang berkelanjutan dari para pembina dan orang tua. Internalisasi karakter disiplin melalui kegiatan kepramukaan terlihat dari perilaku siswa, termasuk ketepatan waktu, kepatuhan terhadap aturan, dan penyelesaian tugas tepat waktu. Ketika siswa menghadapi kesulitan, peran pembina dalam memberikan bimbingan dan motivasi sangat penting. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan karakter di MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo efektif membentuk siswa yang disiplin, dengan menekankan pada upaya kolaboratif antara pembina dan siswa dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif.Kata kunci: Nilai Karakter, Kedisiplinan, Kegiatan Kepramukaan                                                                   AbstractThis research explores the role of scouting activities in shaping the disciplinary character of students at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo. Scouting, as a form of non-formal education, plays a crucial role in instilling values such as faithfulness, nobility, law-abidance, and discipline in children and young people. The Ministry of Education and Culture mandates scouting activities in schools as a combination of attitudinal values and skills development.The study focuses on scouting activities at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo, where scouting became a compulsory extracurricular activity in 2017. The extracurricular activities are designed to not only develop scouting skills but also to build character, emphasizing politeness, obedience, and discipline. The activities include both indoor and outdoor components, providing students with a holistic learning experience. The research methodology employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation to gather primary data. The results highlight the achievements of MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo scouts, including notable successes in various competitions. Scout coaches play a pivotal role in implementing activities aligned with the 2013 Curriculum, using learning methods that make the experience enjoyable for students. The study also identifies constraints faced by scouts, such as economic limitations affecting the acquisition of complete attributes. Motivation is found to be positively influenced by external coaches. Despite challenges, the research underscores the importance of discipline character education, emphasizing the need for continuous support from coaches and parents. The internalization of discipline character through scouting activities is evident in students' behaviors, including punctuality, adherence to rules, and completion of tasks on time. While students face difficulties, the coaches' role in providing guidance and motivation is crucial. The research concludes that character education at MIMA Nurul Huda Gondang Rejo effectively shapes disciplined students, emphasizing the collaborative efforts of coaches and students in creating a conducive learning environmentKeywords: Character Value, Discipline, Scouting Activities

Abstract

This study is a part of a literature review that attempts to identify the character education principles that are taught to primary school pupils in the movie Hafalan Salah Delisa. This study focuses on the application of character education. To gather data, it consults library materials and the movie Hafalan Shalat Delisa. Library materials provide information about character education, while movie shows provide information about the values the movie portrays. Our research has led us to the conclusion that the movie Hafalan Shalat Delisa contains character education values. These values include religious principles, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, and independence; they also include a high degree of curiosity; respect for success and achievement; love and love; a love of reading; care for the environment; care for social issues; and responsibility. Abstract

Abstrakpenelitian ini berfokus pada desain media english vocabulary pictures card yang ditujukan untuk kelas IV-A di MIN 6 Jembrana Bali untuk mengajarkan kosa kata berbahasa inggris. perlunya pengembangan media pembelajaran yang menunjang pembelajaran bahasa inggris menarik dan tidak hanya itu media yang digunakan untuk mengajarkan bahasa inggris pada kelas IV-A min 6 jembrana sudah tidak layak digunakan maka dari itu peneliti mengembangkan media english vocabulary pictures card. namun pada penelitian hanya berfokus pada desain media. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan atau lebih dikenal dengan istilah Development Research dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Sumber data dalam penelitian dibagi menjadi data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Desain Media English Vocabulary Pictures card dibuat berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan yang mencakup karakteristik peserta didik dan ketertarikan peserta didik terhadap media pembelajaran Kata kunci: Kosakata Bahasa Inggris, Media Kartu, Pembelajaran Kosakata. Abstractthis research focuses on the design of media english vocabulary pictures cards aimed at class IV-A at MIN 6 Jembrana Bali to teach English vocabulary. the need for the development of learning media that supports interesting English learning and not only that the media used to teach English in class IV-A min 6 jembrana is not suitable for use, therefore researchers developed media english vocabulary pictures cards. but the research only focuses on media design. The research method used in this research is research and development or better known as Development Research using the ADDIE model. Data collection tools in this research are observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Data sources in the study are divided into qualitative and quantitative data. Abstract

Through transformational leadership, pesantren are able to make institutional changes to achieve success. Because this leadership style can build a strong organizational culture for the effectiveness of Islamic education in pesantren. Therefore, KHMA in PNIA is very effective in carrying out the construction of pesantren culture and shapes the behavior of all pesantren human resources. Therefore, this research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological type; which aims to identify and analyze the kiai's transformational leadership style in building an organizational culture in pesantren. The theoretical framework used to analyze the dynamics of the kiai's leadership is the paradigm of Bass & Riggio. He divided the four dimensions of transformational leadership, i.e: idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual motivation, and individual consideration. This research found KHMA constructs pesantren culture by taking from the thoughts of ulama' salaf which are contained in the book of salaf -which is commonly called Kitab Kuning. On the one hand, the effectiveness of KHMA's self-leadership in PNIA is also inseparable from the normative doctrinal values of Islam, so that the kiai's leadership style is based on Islamic values. The implication is that the construction of organizational culture ranging from a philosophical framework to the practical values of pesantren needs to be bound by the basis of social-religious transformation. Abstract

This research investigates the management of child care from the perspective of the Book of Ihya' 'Ulūm al-Dīn in Malaysia. Against the backdrop of a country rich in Islamic heritage and cultural diversity, this study explores the relevance of the concepts in the Book of Ihya' 'Ulūm al-Dīn in the context of childcare in Malaysia. The library research research method is used to collect, evaluate and analyze related literature, including relevant primary and secondary sources. The results of the analysis show that concepts such as religious education, character formation, and the development of moral values in the Book of Ihya' 'Ulūm al-Dīn have a strong suitability to the life of Malaysian society. This research also highlights the important role of parents, teachers and society in implementing Islamic principles in child care management practices. The implications of the findings of this research include the need to integrate the values of the Book of Ihya' 'Ulūm al-Dīn in educational policies and community development programs to form a generation with noble and responsible morals. In conclusion, this research provides an in-depth understanding of the contribution of Islamic teachings in the management of child care in Malaysia and paves the way for further research in understanding the practical application of these values in society.

Abstract

Teacher competence is one of the supporters of the successful implementation of education. The purpose of this study will be to explain the competency strengthening model for Islamic religious education teachers carried out by junior high schools in Jember Regency. This research is a qualitative research with a narrative approach. The main data sources in this study consisted of school principals and teachers in the district of Jember totaling 10 people consisting of Islamic religious education teachers and school principals. The selection of participants used purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews and observations. The analytical technique used in processing the data is by reducing the data, presenting the results and interpreting the data. The results showed that there were three models of strengthening teachers' pedagogic competencies. First, training to equip and strengthen the knowledge, skills and attitudes of teachers in teaching. Second, mentoring is carried out to direct teachers in strengthening skills. Third, the supervision carried out by the principal to measure and provide an assessment of the competence of teachers who have been trained and assisted. The research that has been produced is expected to be the basis for making policies on strengthening competence for teachers in the future. Subsequent more in-depth research is very helpful in adding information about similar research.

Abstract

This research examines curriculum innovations in Islamic boarding school-based madrasas. Holistic learning, which integrates religious education (Islamic boarding school, also called pesantren) and formal education, is a powerful instrument for school admission to attract more students. Thus, Islamic boarding school-based madrasah curriculum needs to develop innovation to meet the needs of society consistently and adapt to the evolving educational landscape. This research aims to review the curriculum innovations carried out by pesantren-based Madrasah Aliyah to ensure relevance and effectiveness. This research employed a qualitative research design with a case study approach. It established a complex picture of excellent-based madrasa curriculum innovation by examining expressions, detailed reports, and conducting studies in natural situations with various stakeholders. This research concludes that pesantren curriculum innovation is implemented through some stages, including 1) doing needs analysis, 2) formulating and answering philosophical questions, 3) determining the curriculum design, and 4) creating a master plan: development, implementation, and assessment or evaluation for sustainable improvement.

Abstract

Internalization the character values ​​of love for the motherland exists to unite differences and the spirit of love for the motherland so that it can unite all groups, be it from different cultures, ethnicities, customs and religions. However, incidents of violence in the name of religion have emerged which often become a phenomenon that appears a lot or is known as radicalism in Indonesia. Responding to this threat, UIJ BEM students, supported by students and also the chancellor, declared the campus anti-radical by saying that this declaration was a form of love for the homeland. To analyze and describelevelinternalization of the character values ​​of loving the motherland in preventing radicalism at the Islamic University of Jember. This study uses a qualitative approach by producing descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior about Value Internalization Value of the Character of Love for the Motherland in Preventing Radicalism. The results obtained from this study are the character values ​​of loving the homeland which are manifested in the form of campus institutional rules under the auspices of the Nahdatul Ulama Foundation. The vision and mission of the campus are not only Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyah, but also highly committed to upholding Pancasila and -The 1945 Constitution, Strengthening love for the motherland through PKKBM, seminars and general courses, Application of love for the motherland through ceremonial events such as independence, students' day, national recitation and others, Singing the national anthem and hubbul wathan at every event or activity important, Posting photos of the president, vice president, eagle, and campus vision and mission in every classroom, Declaring UIJ as an anti-radical campus. radical issues to grow and develop. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the Jigsaw cooperative learning method in improving students' engagement, collaboration, understanding, and retention in the subject of Islamic Cultural History (IHR). The study also identified the challenges faced during the implementation of the method, such as students' adaptation to new roles, ability variation, time management, and group dynamics. The research was conducted through a Classroom Action Research (PTK) approach in several cycles, involving observations, interviews, and analysis of student learning outcomes. The results showed that the Jigsaw method significantly increased student engagement, build teamwork, and strengthened social skills, such as communication and conflict resolution. Data showed an increase in material comprehension and long-term retention through collaborative interaction and group discussion. The study also identified implementation challenges, such as students' initial resistance to active roles, uneven contributions within groups, and time management constraints. Mitigation strategies, such as gradual guidance, provision of additional materials, and structured time management, proved effective in overcoming these obstacles. This study makes a practical contribution to the educational literature by confirming the effectiveness of the Jigsaw method while offering solutions to implementation challenges. The implications of this study suggest that the active role of teachers is crucial in ensuring the success of this method, as well as encouraging the application of the Jigsaw method in broader and diverse educational contexts. This research also opens up opportunities for further exploration of the application of the Jigsaw method in other subjects and groups of students with special needs.

Abstract

Islamic character education is an effort to build a generation that has noble morals based on Islamic values. The Merdeka Belajar Curriculum initiated by the Indonesian government provides flexibility for educators to integrate local values, including religious values, into learning. This article aims to analyze how Islamic character education can be integrated in the Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach through literature review. The results show that the integration of Islamic character education requires collaboration between educators, curriculum, and society in supporting the creation of religious, ethical, and accomplished students. In conclusion, Islamic character education is a key element in building holistic education according to the demands of the modern era.
